Heres How Bengaluru Police Made A Narcos Reference To Esco-Bar You From Doing Drugs

If you haven’t noticed, in the last few weeks, the Bengaluru Police’s Twitter has been completely filled with pop-culture references. Their use of funny puns and their witty jibes have become a favourite with people and the relatable way of spreading awareness actually seems to be working.

Some time back, they used ‘Game of Thrones’ memes to warn pedestrians about jay-walking, and now they have made a ‘Narcos’ reference, and people are loving it!

Heard you're selling drugs,
We'll come visit you. pic.twitter.com/z5DIsngG7B

Going after local drug peddlers this time, they posted a picture of a glum looking Pablo Escobar from Narcos, with the caption  ‘Roses are red, Violets are blue,  Heard you’re selling drugs, We’ll come visit you’. They are not messing around at all!

Even Netflix decided to reply with their own take on the poem.

@BlrCityPolice Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Murphy & Peña might wanna work for you. pic.twitter.com/OxzPJsNBVT

And the Bengaluru Police Department was quick with their reply as well.

@NetflixIndia Roses are red
Violets are blue
We got this, dear Netflix
If we need help, we'll tell you ;)

Yes, they are very cool, but seems like Pablo Escobar isn’t that impressed.
