MULTAN: A man, who allegedly murdered his daughter in the Nawazabad neighbourhood here late Friday night, has been arrested, Geo News reported.

Police said suspect Waseem, who escaped following the murder, had reportedly immersed seven-year-old Ramsha in water while strangulating her simultaneously.

It was also revealed that a domestic dispute had escalated, resulting in the child's murder, Geo News reported.

The body has been taken into police custody, security officials commented further, adding that the search operation to catch Waseem turned fruitful only hours later with the suspect?s arrest.
