KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar on Saturday claimed that his party's vote bank is "intact and it will remain so."

Flanked by Barrister Farogh Naseem at a press conference here, Sattar said, "Political vultures, considering MQM-P weak, have been hovering over Karachi and urban areas of Sindh. They think that there's no warmth left in its body."

He said the Supreme Court has ordered a re-election in Sindh Assembly constituency PS-114, while the election tribunal also exposed rigging of polls by Irfanullah Marwat.

The MQM-P leaders claimed that their opponents would face defeat in the next elections as well.

Sattar said majority of petitions filed against his party, pertaining to polls, have been dismissed.Β

He said that his party would hold a rally in Hyderabad in support of the apex court's verdict.

The MQM-P chief said the rally would be attended by a large number of people.
