The first look of the most anticipated film 'Manto' was finally unveiled at 70th Cannes Film Festival and we just can't get over it.

While the poster bears Nawazzuddin Siddiqui with an intense look which was a compulsory element for Manto, it also shows a stain of blood along with Saadat Hasan Manto's writings in Urdu. 

Director Nandita Das shared the first poster for her upcoming movie on Facebook.

The talented actor-turned -director also shared some behind the scene stills too with the poster.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of protagonist and Rasika Duggal plays the role of Manto's wife named Safiya.

'Manto' is based on Saadat Hasan Manto, who is known as one of the greatest writers of short stories in South Asian history.
