Case registered over kidnapping of foreign nationals

QUETTA: Police registered a case over the kidnapping of foreign nationals, who were abducted from Quetta?s Jinnah Town on Wednesday.
The case, which has been registered by Jinnah Town police station SHO, includes charges of kidnapping and terrorism.
Moreover, a three-member investigation team under the leadership of DIG Counter-Terrorism Department has been formed to probe the case, informed Inspector General of Police Balochistan Ahsan Mehboob.
The team also includes SSP Investigation and SP Saddar.
Police has collaborated with other law enforcement agencies for safe recovery of the kidnapped Chinese nationals, remarked the IGP.
A Chinese couple were kidnapped while they were eating food at a local eatery Wednesday afternoon.
The husband and wife, identified as Li Zang Hing and Ming Leassi Ha, were working at a Korean centre nearby Jinnah Town and had been teaching Korean language to the area residents for more than a year.
