A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during next 2 days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Saturday.

Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, DI Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan divisions, FATA, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Hot and dry weather is expected in rest of the country, the MET said.

Past weather:

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir.
