ISLAMABAD: A 13-year-old boy working as a domestic servant in the federal capital was allegedly abused on Friday by his employer over the accusation of robbery.

According to police, a resident of Shalimar Sector F called 15 on Friday evening to report that her servant stole from the house and should be arrested.

Upon arrival on scene, police found the child with his mother and two brothers present alongside.

The 13-year-old Ramzan had deep bruises above his eye, said police.

After taking the child into custody, police shifted Ramzan to PIMS hospital for medical, where he underwent CT scan and X-ray.

Police said that they have launched investigation on the matter, and will take further action after the medical report.
