ISLAMABAD: Shahid Aslam ? the Project Director of the city's new airport ? has allegedly gone missing, Geo News reported.

Aslam, who left home at 8:30 PM the previous night, has still not returned 24 hours later, a report filed by the official's brother-in-law in the Margalla police station revealed.

Report of missing person was filed by Aslam's brother-in-law late Friday night.

It is noteworthy that both of Aslam's phones appear to have been powered off, Geo News said. Security officials stated that his unusual disappearance is now under investigation.
