Baahubali helmer SS Rajamouli's latest release, RRR, featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, has turned out to be a huge hit across the world. Also starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, the pan-India film is shattering multiple records with each passing day and is in no mood to slow down.

To celebrate the film's grand success, producer Dil Raju on Monday evening hosted a grand party in Hyderabad which was attended by the whole team of RRR. However, Rajamouli's dance to the Naatu Naatu song turned out to be the highlight of the star-studded evening.
A video has been posted on the official Instagram handle of RRR in which the director is seen acing the Naatu Naatu step with director Anil Ravipudi while Jr NTR and Ram Charan cheer for him. Since yesterday, the clip has been going viral on social media with fans appreciating the ace filmmaker.
The caption of the video reads, "Our Director @ssrajamouli fulfilled the promise he made to @jrntr in @anilravipudi’s interview". Watch it below:

For the unversed, in an interview with Anil Ravipudi during the promotions, Rajamouli had promised Jr NTR that he'll do the Naatu Naatu dance at the success party of RRR. Well, the director not just fulfilled his promise, he surprised everyone with his killer dance moves.
Coming back to the film, RRR is based on the fictional story of two Telugu freedom fighters named Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. After getting delayed several times amid the coronavirus pandemic last year, the movie finally got released in the theatres on March 25 and opened to a positive response from critics as well as fans.

I have aspired to be a writer since I was a little girl. In fact, if I am being really honest, I haven’t just aspired to be a writer, but to be a profound author who has several books published under her name. But I am often told how writing a book is more about learning and gaining experiences in life, than it is about writing them down.
After all, what you’ve known and closely experienced is what you’re better able to articulate. A theory, that was taken a tad bit too seriously by another author across the world who was recently put on trial for allegedly murdering her husband.
    © Twitter
And the creepy part is, in the list of what all she had authored, the romance novelist had written an essay titled, “How To Murder Your husband.” Isn’t the irony killer?

Nancy Crampton-Brophy, 71, from Oregon, U.S., had authored the essay back in 2011 and had gone on to share several motives for and means of killing your spouse.
    View this post on Instagram
Little did anyone know that her own researched article will one day serve as an instruction manual for killing her husband. Nancy has now been put on a murder trial after she was accused of fatally shooting her husband Daniel Brophy, in June 2018 with a view to gain more than $1.5 million in life insurance.
A report shared by The Washington Post shared that the body of Daniel was found by his co-worker in a kitchen at the Oregon Culinary Institute (OCI), in Portland, on 2 June 2018. He had two gunshot wounds, one to his chest and another in his back.
    © Twitter
Upon investigation, it was found that Nancy lied about her whereabouts during the time of death, as she claimed that she was home the whole time. She even took to her Facebook and broke the news of her husband’s death as she wrote, “I have sad news to relate. My husband and best friend, Chef Dan Brophy was killed yesterday morning. I’m struggling to make sense of everything right now. While I appreciate toy loving responses, I am overwhelmed."

She also wrote, "For those of you who are close to me and feel this deserved a phone call, you are right, but I'm struggling to make sense of everything right now."
A woman who wrote a paper on how to kill your husband is on trial for murdering her husband. She also wrote a romance called “The Wrong Husband”. https://t.co/J9jrCQCOMv
    — A Grand Romance (Kate) (@AGrandRomance) April 5, 2022
However, later in September 2018 she was arrested and pleaded guilty. Whether or not she committed the crime or would be prosecuted for it, is yet to be known, but in the meantime we clearly can’t get over the similarity it has to the film ‘Basic Instinct’.
Guess, writing an essay about how to kill your husband, wasn’t a great choice, after all!

Mumbai Indians’ pocket-sized dynamite Ishan Kishan has made an impressive start to the IPL 2022 campaign, blasting 135 runs in just two innings.
The 23-year-old, who was picked for a whopping Rs 15.25 crore in last month’s mega auction, has done justice to his incredibly high price tag thus far and repaid the faith shown in him by the team management.
    View this post on Instagram
However, despite his brilliance with the bat, the record IPL champions have yet to register their first win of the season but looking at their performance, the victory seems just around the corner.
The southpaw was all of 17 when he made his IPL debut for the now defunct Gujarat Lions back in 2016, who had bought him for Rs 40 lakh. In his maiden season, he struggled to get going and could manage only 42 runs in five outings.
    View this post on Instagram
The next season he roared like a lion and made his presence felt, smashing 277 runs in 11 appearances. It was enough for him to get on the radar of a champion side like Mumbai Indians.
The Rohit Sharma-led side went all-out to sign the defender in the 2018 mega auction and splashed a whopping Rs 6.20 crore to tie him to their contract.
    View this post on Instagram
It was a life-changing moment for the teenager and during an interaction on Breakfast with Champions, the wicketkeeper-batter shared how his family members reacted to his bumper IPL contract that made him an overnight crorepati.
Kishan said he wasn’t too affected by the huge bidding war but his mom and dad were over cloud nine. The MI opener revealed that his dad got so excited during the auction that his blood pressure took a hit and he had to go to the hospital to get it checked.

“I was chilled out. It was my auction, I should be stressed about it. I had gone to play football with my friends. When the auction ended I got a call from Monu Bhai. He is telling me what all happened at the auction. I was like ‘it’s good I have been sold at good money, I should go home and meet everyone’,” Kishan said on the famous show.
“I went home and saw that mom is on the call, cheeks red and on a call. I saw that dad wasn't even there. I asked where is dad? She said, ‘He has gone to the hospital to check his BP’. I am thinking ‘what has happened to my family?’ (laughs),” said Kishan recalling his family’s reaction to his first major IPL auction.

Since joining Mumbai Indians, the dashing wicket-keeper has gone from strength to strength and even made his India debut in the limited-overs format.
Three years after earning that huge paycheck in 2018, Kishan has gone on to become the most expensive player in MI history. Given the start he has had this season, don’t be surprised if he topped the run-scoring chart and added another feather to his cap.

Rumors have been rife that Bollywood’s current queen, Alia Bhatt, would soon be tying the knot with her beau Ranbir Kapoor. The latter seems to be taking out time for love in his life considering the hectic schedules for his upcoming projects, ‘Animal’ and Luv Ranjan’s next.
According to reports, ahead of their purported April wedding, the couple is planning on throwing a bachelorette party with an impressive guest list. The list includes big names like Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and many more.
    © Dharma Productions
Noises from the grapevines have strongly suggested that Ranbir is expected to tie the knot with Alia on the 17th of April, with the former busy working on Luv Ranjan’s next film until April 13th. Between that and his subsequent project, Animal, work on which is slated to start from April 22nd, Ranbir only has 7-8 days available to him for personal stuff. For now, the selected venue is RK Studios.

Regarding the aforementioned Bachelorette party, it seems as if Ranbir Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned. The party is rumored to be hosted at his own house, with Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ayan Mukerji, all a part of the speculated guest list. Apart from that, his school friends and other close members have also made the cut.
    View this post on Instagram
With rumors of their wedding growing louder with each passing day, there are several folks who have gone on to quash them. Celebrity Mehendi artist Veena Nagda is one of them who has refuted such claims, stating that she had recently met the Gangubai star, Alia Bhatt, and she hadn’t mentioned anything to her about it yet.
Speaking to TOI, Ranbir’s uncle, Randhir Kapoor also stated that he had no information of any wedding either. Considering their relationship, he would have to be called and informed in case Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were actually planning on getting married.
Sooner or later, Bollywood’s favorite couple is going to get hitched. So, it’s only a matter of time before these rumours start becoming something a bit more substantial.
Do you think these are just baseless rumours or are the celebrity couple planning on pulling a fast one over everyone?

SS Rajamouli has proved time and again that there is no other filmmaker like him in Indian cinema in recent years.
It all started when Magadheera’s dubbed Hindi version became a huge success on TV. This was followed by the satellite success of Eega’s Hindi dubbed version titled Makkhi.
And in 2015, he garnered nationwide acclaim with Baahubali: The Beginning and reached further new heights with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
    © Aarka Media Works
The second part of the Prabhas & Rana Daggubati starrer became the biggest blockbuster in India and its Hindi version is the in film to go past Rs 400 crore and Rs 500 crore mark.

In comparison, the highest grossing Bollywood film is Aamir Khan starrer 2016 sports biopic Dangal which made Rs 387.38 crore.
Despite breaking all possible records in its lifetime run at the box office, SS Rajamouli directorial failed to achieve one ultimate feat and become the highest grossing film of Indian cinema.
That record belongs to Aamir Khan’s Hindi film Dangal!
    © Aamir Khan Productions
Upon its release in 2017, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion broke the box office and collected Rs 1810 crore globally. At that time, it had briefly become the highest grossing Indian film of all time.

However, later that year, Aamir Khan’s Dangal released in China and as they say, the rest is history.
Dangal overperformed in the neighbouring country and even challenged the box office collections of numerous Hollywood films thanks to Aamir Khan’s unparalleled popularity.
By the time Dangal ended its glorious run at the China box office, it had achieved the unthinkable.
The film had hit the Rs 2000 crore mark and is still the only Indian film to do so. The global box office collection of Dangal is Rs. 2024 crore.
    © DVV Entertainment
Now, SS Rajamouli’s RRR is on a record breaking run and has reached the fifth spot with over Rs 900 crore globally.

While the film will reach the third spot in the next few days and even go past Rs 1000 crore, it seems unlikely that it will reach anywhere close to the business of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
As for Dangal, it will continue to enjoy its numero uno status for some more time now.

There is no doubt that Ranbir Kapoor is a big Bollywood star. Since making his big debut in Saawariya, the actor has over the years proven his mettle by doing wonderful projects like Rockstar, Tamasha, and others.

    © Prime Video
Ranbir has obviously not been seen in a while in theatres, but his long-stalled project Brahmastra is finally getting a release, with his real-life girlfriend and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt starring in it as well.

As you know, Ranbir is as close to a Bollywood prince as there is, with the actor being born in the Kapoor Khaandaan.
Now, with the actor planning to get married to Alia, the couple might just be another dynasty.

However, while the actor is well known in Bollywood, it's not the same in Hollywood, and there was an unfortunate incident that Ranbir had to face a couple of years ago.

The actor revealed on The Kapil Sharma Show back in 2016 that he once saw Hollywood star Natalie Portman on the streets of New York, and asked her for a photograph.
    © Reuters
Natalie is about to star in the Marvel film Thor: Love And Thunder alongside Chris Hemsworth and Christian Bale.

As it turns out, Ranbir's request was rejected with Natalie even telling him to 'get lost'. Speaking about his account, Ranbir said,
“Main New York ki sadak pe chal raha tha. Main bhaag raha tha actually, mujhe bohot zor ki bathroom aa rahi thi. Main bhaag raha tha hotel ki taraf aur woh phone pe baat karte hue aise guzar rahi thi. Nazar mili toh maine socha, ‘Yaar, yeh toh Natalie Portman hai.’ Toh main ghoom ke bhaag ke aaya aur kaha, ‘Ek photo, ek photo’ (I was running on the streets of New York, towards my hotel, because I wanted to use the restroom. And I noticed her passing by, talking on the phone. I realized that she was Natalie Portman so I turned around, ran to her, and asked for a picture),” said Ranbir.
He also revealed that while he was heartbroken, he realized that the actress had actually been crying, which is when she told him to ‘get lost’.
“Par aisa nahi hai ki main kuch kum fan ban gaya. Kal bhi agar woh mujhe sadak pe mil jaaye, toh main bolunga, ‘Ek photo, ek photo’ (It is not like this made me any less of a fan than I already was. If I bumped into her on the street tomorrow, I would again ask her for a picture).” said Ranbir.
Ranbir will also be seen in the upcoming film Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna.

Cricket broadcast has evolved immensely over the years, with multiple camera setups to bilingual commentary, the coverage has advanced to make the experience better for viewers. The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently being broadcast in over five languages but the Hindi commentary has caught everyone's attention for all the wrong reasons.
While some fans were already against some of the phrases used by former cricketers who have taken up the mic after retiring from competitive cricket, Harbhajan Singh's latest remark on West Indies wicket-keeper batter has made things worse.
    © Instagram Harbhajan Singh
The former India off-spinner was on air during Hindi commentary when Pooran was dismissed by Avesh Khan in the 18th over of Sunrisers Hyderabad's chase.

Harbhajan rhymed Pooran's name with 'chooran' while calling the dismissal and it was enough to trigger fans as they called out the former cricketer on Twitter.
"Kyuki Pooran jo khila rahe the chooran, ab apne hi chooran ka swad lete hue bahar ja rhe hai," Harbhajan had said on air.
Fans on social media termed Harbhajan's commentary as pathetic and asked him to learn some manners.
Wo puran churan wala kya tha?? Isse bakwas Hindi commentary mene aaj tak nahi suni.
    — Jaydev Jariwala (@JaiJariwala21) April 5, 2022Ok but improve ur commentary..... don't call Pooran as Chooran nd they that ise khaa lene se pet saaf ho jata h.... it's not any medical analysis going on....
Just imagine if ur name is used for some unwanted purposes.....how wud u feel
    — Mayank (@cricmayank) April 5, 2022Harbhajan , learn some manners before making fun of anyones name. Imagine a junior like Pooran comes n tells u to F OFF ! How would u feel after that ?? Yaar, after all ur cheap behaviours in the past learn some manners now. You have become a father now.
    — starboy (@starboy02406443) April 5, 2022Worst thing that has happened to #ipl is their Hindi commentary panel, especially the inclusion of @IrfanPathan, @harbhajan_singh. We love you as cricketers but for the love of the game please take up commentary classes or quit. You spoil the viewing experience.
    Cc: @IPL
    — Errr (@TickleFunny) April 5, 2022Harbhajan :- pooran chooran nikaalte hue , pet saaf kr dege

    Wtf
    — Sidheart (@wordofshekhawat) April 4, 2022It is sad to see a player who has played over 100 Test matches for India using such phrases while being on air.
Coming back to cricket, Pooran finally ended his dry run with the bat in the IPL as he smashed 34 runs off just 24 balls against Lucknow Super Giants and nearly took his side home.
Sunrisers have now lost both their opening matches and are languishing at the bottom of the table with zero points. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are the only other two teams who are yet to open their account in this year's IPL.

Every actor aspires to make it big in the film industry, however, not everyone can live up to its glitz and glamour. While some have already made their presence felt, others are still trying their level best to make a mark.
There are several big Bollywood celebrities who almost considered quitting acting for different reasons. From Shah Rukh Khan to Katrina Kaif, take a look at the list of popular Bollywood stars who almost decided to leave the industry below.
Aamir Khan View this post on Instagram
In an interview, recently, Aamir revealed that he almost quit Bollywood after realising that he didn't spend enough time with his kids and family for so many years. Revealing the same, the Dangal star said, "I feel like I've spent my life chasing my dreams and trying to fulfill them. But during this journey, I didn’t pay attention to my loved ones. My parents, my siblings, my children, my first wife Reena, my second wife Kiran, their parents… Perhaps I couldn’t devote enough time to them".
Katrina Kaif View this post on Instagram
After entering Bollywood with Kaizad Gustad's flop film Boom in 2003, Katrina worked very hard to establish herself among the most successful actresses. Namastey London (2007), co-starring Akshay Kumar, proved to be a turning point in her career. However, she almost decided to leave acting after watching the film. Interestingly, Katrina saw too much of herself in Namastey London and thought that it'll turn out to be a huge disaster. "I was like, 'I am packing my bags and I am going to find a new career'," she stated.
Shah Rukh Khan  View this post on InstagramSRK too had once decided to leave acting because he thought he was not good-looking after watching his film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, back in 1992. Like seriously? Revealing the same, he stated, "When I saw myself for the first time on screen, this was for the rushes. Rushes are dailies. You shoot the scenes and you see the negatives. That was the time when we had negatives. So, I was looking at Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman rushes in RK Studio. And I realised I am so ugly". However, later, Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza convinced him that the "final would be better".
Hrithik Roshan View this post on Instagram
Hrithik Roshan's career began with the successful film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. However, he was on the verge of quitting acting due to a severe knee injury. Talking about his decision, he stated, "I worked on ‘Kites’ only for seven months. Before that, I was trying to treat my knee. For six months there was no sign of recovering from my knee pain. That time I thought either I will turn to singing or direct a film".
Well, we're glad that they changed their decision. What about you? Share your views in the comment section below.

What are base notes of a perfume and why the hell should you care?

We’ve all heard about top, heart and base notes of a perfume, but do we know what they mean and why are they so important?
Top notes are light and refreshing and last for about 5-15 minutes. They have the strongest impact on the wearer. Heart notes last for about 30-60 minutes and are about 70% of the perfume. In other words, it’s the heart of the perfume.
Base notes consist of scents that last for 6 hours or more. It is this note of a perfume that’s the strongest and makes a perfume long-lasting.
In a world dominated by online shopping, you need to know about the most popular base notes to choose the strongest, long-lasting and the best perfume for yourself.
    1. Musk One can describe musk as an earthy and natural scent. Initially, it was derived from animals but currently musk is a plant-derived fragrance. Many would also describe this scent as sensual and elegant since it smells like your skin but better.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3166__
    2. Oud A woody base note, oud smells luxurious and much like leather with a hint of sweet. Its unique fragrance is derived from the agar tree and goes well with musky and floral notes. If you’re looking for a mysterious and woody scent, this is the base note to go for.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3165__
    3. Sandalwood An already popular fragrance, sandalwood smells sweet and earthy. Refreshing and strong at the same time, this base note goes well with woody notes like vetiver and cedar.
This particular perfume by Villain has base notes of sandalwood, musk as well as vetiver, making it a strong and long lasting scent.
    4. Amber & Amberwood This base note is not naturally occurring. It is an accord made using a combination of vanilla, resin, musk and some other spices. An excellent blend of spicy as well as sweet notes, amber smells like a warm and cozy winter night.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3171__
Amberwood on the other hand is newer accord and is considered a woody note. It’s a mix of smokey and floral notes. It is used to enhance oriental perfumes and works well as a fall scent.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3168__
    5. Vanilla This base note is known for its tender sweetness. It is used mostly in floral and fruity perfumes. It’s a common misconception that vanilla is appropriate only for women’s perfumes. This is completely untrue. Vanilla is also used in men’s fragrances to balance out the strong woody and spicy base notes.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3164__
    6. Vetiver Vetiver is popularly described as an earthy scent that smells like fresh fauna or a damp forest. It smells dry, leathery and smokey and is one of the most popular base notes for men’s perfumes.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3208__
    7. Patchouli Patchouli leaves behind a warm and sensual fragrance that is highly memorable because of its uniqueness. It’s often combined with other woody base notes like sandalwood, amber and vetiver.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1089__
The Bottomline The base note of your perfume is what makes it strong, memorable and long-lasting. Make sure to choose your perfume wisely and go for a fragrance that will leave a lasting impression, wherever you go.
