Virat Kohli's century drought in international cricket continued as he made 45 in the first innings of his 100th Test match. Kohli was looking at ease out in the middle before a Lasith Embuldeniya delivery went past the outside edge of Kohli and hit the top of off stump, leaving the former India captain bamboozled.
It was his 71st innings without a century and while he may not have got to the three-figure mark, Kohli has been scoring runs consistently for Team India. The 33-year-old himself said that he is not bothered about the milestones and just wants to concentrate on helping the team's cause.

Former India opening batter Gautam Gambhir, however, has identified a major flaw that has been causing trouble for Kohli against spin bowling.
Gambhir said Indian players have been playing a lot of limited-overs cricket and that has hampered their game against spinners. The former India opener highlighted that players prepare for a game by majorly facing pace bowling and that has put them off their basics.
    © Instagram/Gautam Gambhir
"One of the major concerns is that the bat is in the line of pads. When that happens, it is difficult to play deliveries that turn away as well as those that don't turn.  If you keep your bat ahead of your pad, you will be beaten only on one edge. When you look at Mayank Agarwal's dismissal, he was beaten on the inside edge. In Virat Kohli's case, he was beaten on the outside edge. So, it is very important to have your bat ahead of your pad,” Gambhir said during the post-Tea show on Star Sports on Day 1 of the first Test.

"This is usually taught in formative years. Nowadays, you play so much limited-overs cricket that you lose your basics, the good habits die down. You've concentrated significantly on fast bowling, so I believe Indian batters have a scope for improvement in tackling spin," Gambhir added.
    Huge breakthrough for Sri Lanka!

    — ICC (@ICC) March 4, 2022
Gambhir's advice makes complete sense as Kohli has had his share of trouble against spinners across the world. Keshav Maharaj troubled him in South Africa while Ajaz Patel and Rachin Ravindra got the better of Kohli when New Zealand toured India last year.
Kohli will be busy in the IPL later this month and will travel to England to play the fifth Test of the five-match series that was halted last year due to a Covid outbreak in the Indian camp.

King Khan of Bollywood, also known as Shah Rukh Khan is known for a lot of things. From giving iconic blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge to Raees, doing his signature step where he opens his arms to giving his million dollar smile on the camera, SRK doesn’t just know how to win hearts, but how to make a permanent place in them too.
And for those of you who are wondering how he does it, it is by making countless, little but meaningful gestures that imprint his name on our hearts. Like this recent one, where the 'Baadshaah' of Bollywood was spotted at the Mumbai airport, greeting everyone along the way and how.

He was seen getting down from his car, surrounded by his security personnel, his driver and lots of paps. His walk was just on point, as was his style in a long jacket, tied back hair and a bandana to add some flavor.

And as SRK approached the Airport check-in, he first hugged his driver a goodbye and then greeted the CISF officer at the gate with folded hands, as he proceeded further. There was no pride, no ego, pure gesture and a genuine smile.

After the video was posted online, it garnered several comments and likes from fans who just couldn’t get enough of the star. Calling him a star with a ‘Spine’ and saying things like, 'King for a reason’, “Uff king the way walking and that hug he gave to his driver” were telling of just how much respect he commands over his fans.

Another user commented, “His walk, his smile, his dimples and he is more than enough to get goosebumps can a superstar be so humble like him King for a reason.”

Although a couple of people on the internet also pointed out the lack of security check for Shah Rukh Khan, since he wasn’t even asked to pull his mask down. One user on Instagram even wrote, “This is such a major security lasp why the hell he wasn't checked by the security guard. No removing of masks to check identity and no checking at all. This VIP culture in India is ridiculous. This should be taken up by the authorities very seriously.”

Meanwhile, the superstar is back in action as he gears up for his next release - Pathaan, on January 25, 2023. The movie whose little snippet with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has created quite a stir would be one of the most anticipated action-thrillers.

There are a lot of Bollywood actors who, with time, decide to switch gears and turn filmmakers. This has been happening in Hindi cinema since the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s when actors like Sunil Dutt, Raj Kapoor, Feroz Khan, Manoj Kumar and Dev Anand turned from being successful movie stars to hit filmmakers.
However, not every great and acclaimed actor is lucky enough to taste success when they turn directors. While some decide to stay away from the Director's chair after delivering their first dud, others don’t give up and, eventually, taste success.
Here’s a list of 5 acclaimed Bollywood actors who turned directors and delivered duds:
    1. Sunny Deol  © Vijayta Films
Two times National Film Award-winning actor Sunny Deol was already a major star when he decided to take the reins of his troubled production Dillagi into his own hands.

The title was changed from London to Dillagi, the lead actress was changed from Karisma Kapoor to Urmila Matondkar and the director was changed from Gurinder Chaddha to Sunny Deol.
Dillagi was Sunny Deol’s debut as a director but unfortunately, the film failed to make a mark at the box office and was panned by the critics. According to Box Office India, made on a budget of Rs 14 crore, Dillagi could only collect Rs 10.50 crore.
Sunny Deol went on to helm two more films - Ghayal Once Again (2016) and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019) but is yet to find success as a director.
    2. Anupam Kher  © Pooja Entertainment
National Film Award-winning actor Anupam Kher made his directorial debut with the 2002 film Om Jai Jagadish. Starring Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahima Chaudhary, Urmila Matondkar, Tara Sharma and Waheeda Rehman, Om Jai Jagadish was a remake of Rajesh Khanna’s 1969 hit Do Raaste.

Made on a budget of Rs 13 crore, the film could make only Rs 6.15 crore and turned out to be a disaster, according to Box Office India. It was also panned by the film critics. Anupam Kher hasn’t directed a film since.
    3. Naseeruddin Shah  © CAT Films
Based against the backdrop of 9/11, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota marked three times National Film Award winner Naseeruddin Shah’s debut as a director. The film starred Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Jimmy Sheirgill, Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ayesha Takia and Suhasini Mulay.

According to Box Office India, the film was a huge disaster as it could only collect Rs 1.23 crore on a budget of Rs 6.25 crore.
Shah hasn’t directed a film since.
    4. Ajay Devgn © Ajay Devgn Ffilms
Two times National Film Award winner Ajay Devgn made his directorial debut in 2008 with the romantic drama U Me Aur Hum starring himself along with his wife Kajol.

Made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, the film could only collect Rs 20.98 crore and declared a flop at the box office, according to Box Office India.
Eight years later, Ajay Devgn returned to direction with the action thriller Shivaay, the film was a success.
    5. Pankaj Kapoor  © Eros International
Three times National Film Award winner Pankaj Kapur made his directorial debut with the 2011 romantic drama Mausam starring his son Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.

According to Box Office India, Mausam was made on a budget of Rs 49 crore and earned only Rs 31.56 crore. It was termed a flop. Pankaj Kapur hasn’t directed a film since.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma fan clubs rarely leave a chance to have a go at each other and often criticise the two of Indian cricket's modern day greats. Not too long ago, social media used to be full of rift speculations between the two. However, that is not the case any more.
Everyone saw Rohit's reaction when Kohli, who is playing his 100th Test match, missed out on a big score despite getting a start in his landmark match. Kohli was bowled by Lasith Emuldeniya for 45 and as soon the former India captain lost his wicket, Rohit was seen holding his head in disappointment.

On Day 2 of the ongoing Test match, India declared their innings at 574 for 8 and just as the team was about to take the field, Rohit sent Kohli back into the dressing room and asked him to enter the field again and gave him a 'guard of honour'.

    — BCCI (@BCCI) March 5, 2022 After receiving the guard of honour, Kohli went up to Rohit and shook his hand to acknowledge the gesture before the team formed a huddle.
Fans loved the camaraderie between the duo and few even admitted that the rift rumours have been put to rest by Kohli and Rohit now.

    — Mohamed Azarudeen (@AmAzar93) March 5, 2022 While Kohli may have missed out on scoring a century in his landmark Test match but with his knock of 45, he did manage to enter the record books. Kohli became only the sixth Indian batter to have scored over 8,000 runs in the longest format of the game.
Talking about the Test match, if Rishabh Pant, who smashed a quick-fire 96, was the star on the opening day then Day 2 was all about Ravindra Jadeja.
Well done @imjadeja brilliant 100 keep going .. ( rockstar )the name was given to him by greatest ever @ShaneWarne @BCCI @StarSportsIndia pic.twitter.com/6rOjnrtNne
    — Harbhajan Turbanator (@harbhajan_singh) March 5, 2022
The 33-year-old all-rounder smashed his highest Test score -- 175 in an innings that saw him smashing 17 fours and three sixes.
India put up a big score on the board in the first innings but fans would be willing to see India bat again in this Test as it will allow Kohli another go at trying to break the century jinx that has stayed with him for over two years now.

There are plenty of hair products now available in the market that most men don’t even (and still don’t) know the name or use of.
However, hair gel is something that men have been using for years now. Sure, there are several types of hair gel options according to the hair type and style you want, but this one grooming staple has really stuck around.
    © iStock
However, are you using your hair gel the right way? Going overboard with the product is one of the many mistakes men make while styling their hair.

This styling hero can change your hair game and transform your everyday hairstyle, but only if you use it the correct way, is when you’ll get the desired results.
    © iStock
For styling beginners, here are three easy tips to remember while reaching out for your jar of hair gel to get the hairdo right and on point every time:

    1. Dry Or Wet Hair © iStock
The answer to this question is neither.

Applying it to dry hair is harder and won’t hold the hairstyle for long. And, applying it to wet hair is also not recommended.
It should always be applied to damp hair. It works best right after you’ve taken a shower, (a hot one will be better). Simply towel dry your hair and get gelling up your mane.
    2. How Much Is Too Much © iStock
If someone tells you that there is no such thing as ‘too much hair gel’, don’t listen to them. However, the amount of the product will depend on the hairstyle you want and the hair length.

So, before you reach for the gel, decide on a hairstyle.
    © iStock
A dime size for short hair messy look, quarter size for medium length, parted hair and two quarters for long hair for pompadour hairstyles.

Just remember to not use more than you actually need. Start with a small amount and scoop out more if you feel the need.
    3. Styling & Things To Keep In Mind © iStock
Always rub the gel on your fingers before applying it to your hair and run it through your hair to apply it evenly.

Once you have rubbed hair gel in your hair, you can use a comb to part, hands to make spikes or for a messier look or use styling tools like a blow-dryer to get the mane of your choice.
Once you are satisfied with your hair, let it set and don’t touch it with your hands. Use a comb to fix it.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one global icon unlike any other.

Not only has he, from time to time, proven that he is the most romantic hero Bollywood has ever seen, but he's also equally capable of fitting into any role as and when he wants to.
You need only look at films like Chak De! India, Dear Zindagi, and a few others to find out that Shah Rukh doesn't mess about when he's acting.
    © Prime Video
The Bollywood icon has obviously had some hard times in his life, having lost his parents at a young age, however, he's revealed that instead of succumbing to it, he used it as a launchpad.

It's absolutely true! Shah Rukh was an outsider who has now made it so big in the industry over the years that he has a crazy fan following not only in India but around the world as well.
Now, while Shah Rukh's acting credentials cannot be doubted at all, another thing that sets him apart from the rest is his wit.
The star is so on-point with his one-liners and tongue-in-cheek comments that you'd have to really be a brave soul to take a jibe at him.
While not many do that, apparently there was an incident where Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan found out things the hard way.
    © Instagram/Amitabh Bachchan
With all due respect to Big B, it wasn't even his fault.

What happened was that the two global superstars were on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan show, when Karan asked Amitabh a question in relation to Shah Rukh Khan.
During the rapid-fire round of the show, Karan asked Amitabh about one thing that he has but Shah Rukh doesn’t.
Replying to him, Amitabh instantly said, “My height.”
Well, while many may falter to such a reply, Shah Rukh obviously didn't. When Karan asked the same question to Shah Rukh, the Main Hoon Na actor had a funnier reply.
He instantly said, “A taller wife. Just about… I think.”
Now, while Big B is more than 6 feet tall, his wife Jaya Bachchan is reportedly 5’2. However, Gauri, Shah Rukh's wife is a wee bit taller than Mrs Bachchan.
That's it, folks! Now you know.
Shah Rukh is just the king of witty replies and not many can go up against him.
    © Instagram/Shah Rukh Khan
On the work front, the star is set for the release of his upcoming film Pathan which will hit the theatres next year.

King Khan has made a comeback to social media as well while promoting the film starring Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Salman Khan.
