Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one global icon unlike any other. 

Not only has he, from time to time, proven that he is the most romantic hero Bollywood has ever seen, but he's also equally capable of fitting into any role as and when he wants to.

You need only look at films like Chak De! India, Dear Zindagi, and a few others to find out that Shah Rukh doesn't mess about when he's acting.

The Bollywood icon has obviously had some hard times in his life, having lost his parents at a young age, however, he's revealed that instead of succumbing to it, he used it as a launchpad.

It's absolutely true! Shah Rukh was an outsider who has now made it so big in the industry over the years that he has a crazy fan following not only in India but around the world as well.

Now, while Shah Rukh's acting credentials cannot be doubted at all, another thing that sets him apart from the rest is his wit.

The star is so on-point with his one-liners and tongue-in-cheek comments that you'd have to really be a brave soul to take a jibe at him.

While not many do that, apparently there was an incident where Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan found out things the hard way.

With all due respect to Big B, it wasn't even his fault.

What happened was that the two global superstars were on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan show, when Karan asked Amitabh a question in relation to Shah Rukh Khan.

During the rapid-fire round of the show, Karan asked Amitabh about one thing that he has but Shah Rukh doesn’t.

Replying to him, Amitabh instantly said, “My height.”

Well, while many may falter to such a reply, Shah Rukh obviously didn't. When Karan asked the same question to Shah Rukh, the Main Hoon Na actor had a funnier reply.

He instantly said, “A taller wife. Just about… I think.”

Now, while Big B is more than 6 feet tall, his wife Jaya Bachchan is reportedly 5’2. However, Gauri, Shah Rukh's wife is a wee bit taller than Mrs Bachchan.

That's it, folks! Now you know.

Shah Rukh is just the king of witty replies and not many can go up against him.

On the work front, the star is set for the release of his upcoming film Pathan which will hit the theatres next year.

King Khan has made a comeback to social media as well while promoting the film starring Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Salman Khan.
