Rohit Sharma’s video of offering coffee to the cameraman during the second match between India and Sri Lanka has gone viral specifically because of the kind of simplicity shown by the skipper in Dharamshala. However, some of the extreme fans of the Hitman are also using the opportunity to mock Virat Kohli.
The Indian cricket team has already won the T20I series against the touring Sri Lankan side after dominating them in the first two out of three matches. Although Sharma could not help his side in their efforts to win the match and got dismissed for just one run in the very first over, one of his moments from the day caught the attention of the fans.

The cameraman zoomed into the Indian dressing room, the skipper could be seen standing in the balcony with a cup of hot coffee in his and, sipping on his beverage to counter the cold evenings of the hill station.
However, Sharma caught a glimpse of himself on the big screen that’s set in the stadium and stared directly into the camera while offering his drink to the man behind the lens. Never the one to shy away from becoming a high-level entertainer, Sharma was trying to act serious and professional at first but could not resist leaking out a smile a couple of seconds into the gimmick.

It was this simplicity and candidness of Rohit Sharma that got him loads of applause from cricket fans from all over the country. On the other hand, it was also used by the haters of the former Indian captain Virat Kohli, to mock him for missing out on such qualities that Sharma possesses and speculated that it was this quality that was missing from the Indian dressing room before Kohli was replaced as the captain.
That humility was missing badly in dressing room..which was filled with arrogance fake attitude and woke nature..everyone was feeling insecure not even a single player has established his place in last regime of kohli n shastri n haven't won a single big tournament failed miserab

β€” MedicHistorian (@HistorianMedic) February 26, 2022Rohit Sharma became India's most successful T20 International skipper with his triumph against Sri Lanka in the second T20I on Saturday. He led India to its 16th home triumph, surpassing England captain Eoin Morgan and New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, both of whom had 15 wins.
In Twenty20 Internationals, the 34-year-old has two more victories at home than Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli combined. As captain, Rohit has won 23 of India's 27 matches, including 11 consecutive wins in the shorter form of the game.

The Chief Selector for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Chetan Sharma is being slammed on social media by the fans of the Indian cricket team for writing a special message for the current full-time captain of the squad, Rohit Sharma, after India took an unassailable 2-0 lead against Sri Lanka in the ongoing T20I series.
After the Men in Blue defeated the touring Sri Lankan side in the second of three matches in Dharamshala on Saturday, the BCCI official wrote a congratulatory message for the Indian skipper and for celebrating the series win at home.
Well done boys. Great series victory Keep up the good work. Proud of you. @ImRo45 @BCCI

However many followers of the team were unhappy with Sharma’s tweet and started calling him out for it on the micro-blogging website. Many had an issue with his affection towards Rohit, and they were angry about how he never did anything similar for the former captain of the team, Virat Kohli.
You never said this with virat did you @chetans1987
β€” Sarthak Dhar (@sarthak_dhar_) February 26, 2022but virat never begged for it
β€” Come on Ash (@KingLegend_KLR) February 26, 2022Now I can understand why you guys rested Kohli after scoring fifty.
Can clearly see your politics here.
Won't be surprised if you drop Kohli from T20i squad after S Iyer performance against quality Sl Bowlers.

β€” Hardik Patel (@Ele93Hady) February 26, 2022Biased guy. Never praised Virat for his victories. Praised Rohit for easy wins.
β€” Anil (@pokirified) February 26, 2022One of the major reasons why many people aren’t excited about India’s win against Sri Lanka is that the touring side is short-handed with some of their top players like Wanindu Hasaranga made unavailable for the clash due to the pandemic.
Furthermore, a win against a relatively weaker team like Sri Lanka and that too on home ground isn’t truly an achievement that fans felt was worth celebrating. Rohit Sharma’s captaincy will be put to the real test all the way in July when the Men in Blue will be travelling to England to finish the Test series against Joe Root’s men followed by a three-match T20I series against Eoin Morgan’s side.

To be fair to Sharma’s leadership at home, the Mumbaikar became the most successful T20 International skipper in India with his victory on Saturday. He guided India to its 16th victory at home, overtaking England captain Eoin Morgan and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who both had 15 victories.
In T20s, the 34-year-old has two more victories at home than previous India captains Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli combined. Overall, Rohit has won 23 of India's 27 matches as captain, including 11 straight wins in the shortest version of the game.
