    Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut with Milan Luthria's Tadap co-starring Tara Sutaria last year, is pleased with the amazing response to his debut flick. His performance too received a favorable response from critics and moviegoers. Now, his fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of his next film. While there has been a buzz that he has signed Aashiqui 3, the actor neither confirmed nor denied the speculations and shared that he is "not allowed to speak" about it.

    Now, in a recent interview, Ahan revealed the names of his father Suniel Shetty's two films in which he would love to star in. Well, he chose Border and Dhadkan.

    Talking about the remake culture in Bollywood, Ahan told IANS, "I absolutely love border so I think ‘Border’ would be a fantastic film to remake and be a part of. I think ‘Dhadkan’ would also be an interesting film to be a part of".
    Hmm...great choices. For the unversed, both the films were huge hits and are still popular among moviegoers. While Border (1997) was a multi-starrer war drama set during the India-Pakistan War of 1971, Dhadkan (2000) was a romantic drama co-starring Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar.

    Interestingly, Ahan's debut film Tadap too was a remake of the Telugu hit RX 100. Talking further about his upcoming projects, he said, "There are a few interesting things that we have planned. There should be an announcement within a month… Other than that I can say that I have a four-film contract with Sajid Nadiadwala. So I will be working with him again".

    All the 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises are gearing up for the upcoming mega auction, set to take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. The IPL revealed 590 shortlisted names who will go under the hammer in the two-day bidding process which will decide the squads for the upcoming season.  
    Four Indians made the cut in the list of 10 marquee players but apart from the household names in the tournament, domestic cricketers who have done well in the last few seasons are also expected to fetch crazy bids.

    Known for his explosive hitting skills, Shahrukh Khan will be on the radar of many franchises who are looking for a finisher. 
    The 26-year-old, however, made his intentions clear as to where he wants to go in the upcoming season. In an interview with The Times of India Shahrukh said he idolises Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni and wants to finish games like the former Indian captain used to do. 
    “I idolise MS Dhoni and want to finish games the way he did for India. I have always looked up to Dhoni and I want to become a finisher like him,” Shahrukh Khan was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
    Sharukh’s love for MS Dhoni left fans wondering if the all-rounder is just trying to catch the attention of CSK so that the defending champions bid for him at the upcoming mega auction.

    Yuzvendra Chahal was not on the retention list of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction. This decision shocked many fans as Chahal has been the go-to bowler for his franchise for many years. 
    The leg-spinner will be up for grabs at the upcoming IPL mega auction for a base price of Rs 2 crores.

    Chahal had picked up 18 wickets last season at an economy rate of less than eight in 15 matches and was one of the reasons why RCB managed to qualify for the playoffs. 
    Ahead of the auction, Chahal interacted with his fellow Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on the latter’s YouTube channel. Chahal spoke about his bond with MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and his love for RCB. The leg-spinner also opened up on what amount he is expecting the franchises would be willing to pay to rope him in their teams.
    Chahal, who has kept his base price at Rs 2 crore, is expected to fetch huge bids as many teams would want an experienced spinner in their armoury. The leg-spinner said his heart is with RCB where he has spent eight years but he is open to be a part of any team.

    With this being a mega auction, teams are expected to go big for Indian internationals who have proven themselves in the T20 league and the 31-year-old said no matter which team picks him, he will continue to give his 100 percent. 
    However, Chahal himself doesn’t want the bid to be in excess of 10-12 crores as he is happy to take home Rs 8 crores.

    “This is the first time where I think I can go to any team because there is no ‘right to match’ card available. In the last auction, there was a ‘right to match’ and the team had informed me that no matter what, we’ll buy you,” Chahal said in a video on Ashiwn’s YouTube channel. 
    “I don’t want to say that I want 15 crores or 17 crores, you know, 8 cr is enough for me!” the leg-spinner added.

    Shark Tank India, the Indian adaptation of the popular American reality show Shark Tank started airing from December 20 and caught the attention of the audience in the country. 
    The show features Rannvijay Singh Singha as a host and the “Sharks” include Ashneer Grover (BharatPe Founder), Aman Gupta (Co-founder boAt), Anupam Mittal (founder Shaadi.com), Ghazal Alagh (Co-founder MamaEarth), Namita Thapar (Executive Director Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Peyush Bansal (Co-founder Lenskart) and Vineeta Singh (Co-founder Sugar Cosmetics). 
    Ahead of the show’s season finale episode, Rannvijay hosted a virtual chat with the Sharks on Shark Tank India’s official Instagram account.

    During the chat, Rannvijay asked the Sharks if they plan to meet soon or are going to meet virtually to catch the season finale that will telecast on February 4, 2022. 

    Ashneer Grover trolled Rannvijay saying they are having a wrap party later this week and maybe the host wasn’t invited. He jokingly said, “There is a party on the 4th. Rannvijay, tere ko bulaya nahi lag raha hai (Maybe you aren't invited)” leaving others in splits. 
    Responding to Grover’s roast, Rannvijay added, “Nahi bulaya (I'm not invited). Main party ke baahar flyers bech raha hounga (I'll be selling flyers outside the party).”

    During the chat, Rannvijay asked about the thing they will miss the most as the show comes to an end. Ashneer responded saying, “All the backstage fun was a good experience. Baaki dekhte hain agle saal bulaate hain ye log ya nahi bulaate. Agar nahi bulaaya I'll say bekaar tha sab (Now let's see whether they call me next year or not. If they don't, I'll say it was all rubbish)”. 
    On the other hand, Anupam Mittal said, “Will miss the entourage, make-up wala, stylist, two bodyguards and all that”. 
    To this, Namita Thapar added, "I want to put it on record that the men took longer to get ready than the women. All this entourage you are talking about - make-up, hair, woh entourage mujhe bhugatna pada (I had to bear the brunt of that entourage).

    Ask anyone and you'll know that growing up, Salma Hayek was one Hollywood actress who had quite the *** appeal.

    Be it her acting in movies or just her exceptionally good looks, Salma really developed a crazy fan following from her American and Mexican movies.
    It was really in the 90s and the 2000s when she truly made a name for herself having worked in films like Traffic (2000), Frida (2002), and Midaq Valley (1995).

    She also starred in popular Hollywood films like the Spy Kids Franchise and others, thereby enhancing her status as a top actor.

    However, one film that really stood out for many of her fans was her 1995 film, Desperado.
    The film starring Salma and Antonio Banderas revolved around the story of a musician, El Mariachi (Banderas), who goes out to take revenge on a drug lord who killed his lover.

    The movie was quite a success at the box office grossing around $58 million worldwide and was Salma's breakout role.

    One particular feature in the movie revolved around the *** scenes between Antonio and Salma's characters.

    However, while the scenes played out very well and seemed romantic and full of passion in the film, the reality was pretty far from that.

    Salma, in an interview, revealed how she was scared of doing the *** scenes in the film.
    Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, Salma said, "One of the things that I was afraid of was Antonio. Because he's an absolute gentleman, super nice and we are still very close friends, but he was very free."
    "It was scary because for him it was nothing and that scared me because I've never been in front of someone like that. In that situation, I started crying. 'Oh my God, you're making me feel terrible.' I was so embarrassed I was crying. I was not letting go of the towel, and they would try to make me laugh. I started crying again but we got through it."
    However, Salma revealed that the whole cast and crew made were very supportive throughout the film.
    "They were amazing though, they were amazing. We did the best with what we could do at the time," she said.
    "They were so magnificent, this group of people. He [actor Robert Rodriguez] never put pressure on me."
    Salma was recently seen in Marvel's Eternals movie where she played the role of Ajak, the leader of a team of immortal extraterrestrial superheroes.

    Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, was released in 2020 and turned out to be a huge success. Last year, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon were signed to play the lead roles in the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film.
    Helmed by Rohit Dhawan, the Hindi remake is named Shehzada. However, Goldmines Telefilms' Manish Shah, who has purchased the Hindi dubbing rights to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, wasn't happy with the Shehzada announcement and was all set to release the Hindi dubbed version of Allu Arjun's hit film in theatres on January 26.

    Later, in a meeting, Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind, the producer of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and co-producer of its Hindi version, reportedly convinced Shah to not release the film’s Hindi dubbed version on the big screen. Post which, Goldmines issued an official statement revealing that the Hindi version of the Telugu blockbuster will not release in theatres and will premiere on Shah's TV channel, Dhinchaak, on February 13.

    Well, you must be wondering why Shah is releasing it on his channel where the premiere might go unnoticed. According to the latest buzz, he is happy as he has got a big amount to stop the theatrical release. Reportedly, Allu Aravind needed mediators to convince Shah and producer Sajid Nadiadwala as well as leading distributor Anil Thadani (Raveena Tandon's husband) were with him during the meeting. 
    Revealing the details, a source informed ETimes "That day, the trio sat at Shah's office till 2.30 pm. It wasn't easy to convince Shah but the presence of Nadiadwala and Thadani helped, especially that of the former. The three arrived at Shah's office almost at the same time (clearly, they'd coordinated with each other) and spoke very nicely to Shah. Finally, they prevailed upon him- but not before settling an amount to the tune of Rs 9 crore with him".

    It's 2022 but our outlook continues to be regressive in more ways than we can imagine. In this era of sexual enlightenment, people still have issues with same-*** relationships and are homophobic. Despite serious stigmas attached to it, Bollywood hasn’t done much to improve the situation. We have seen several LGBTQ led and themed films in the past couple of years but it failed to make an impact as it focused on making it rather entertaining.

The standalone sequel to 2018’s Badhaai Ho shows how their characters chose to get married to each other in order to get their respective families off their backs. The characters decided to hide their homosexuality and it’s what people are finding problematic.

    This concept is called “lavender marriage” and people are calling their entire approach very homophobic. In an exclusive conversation with News18, the Kai Po Che actor was asked about homophobic treatment to the movie to which he agreed and stated that marriage is not ideal in such situations.

    “Well, yes. It’s not an ideal situation. I totally agree with that. But there are so many people out there in the society and I have met a couple of them personally who are in this arrangement. So it’s a story about those people," Rajkummar said.

    Virat Kohli is the only player in the IPL history who has played for the same franchise since the tournament's inception in 2008. 
    The upcoming IPL 2022 will be his 15th consecutive season with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Even though he has stepped down from the captaincy, he has no desire to leave the franchise at all. He has explicitly expressed this desire of his and said that he wants to continue at RCB till the end of his playing days.

    The former RCB captain recently appeared on RCB podcast where he reflected on his IPL journey and how his life changed after being picked up by the Bengaluru-based franchise.
    During the interaction, Kohli also revealed that not many people know this but his wife Anushka is actually a ‘Bangalore girl’. She has spent more time in the city than him as she grew up there, hence her deep connection with RCB is deeper than his.

    “She's a Bangalore girl. She's grown up there. She's spent way more time than I have in Bangalore, not many people know this. And she has a special connection with the city already. So obviously she feels very happy that I am playing for RCB and my commitment is always going to be for this franchise and for this city... She obviously can feel the sadness when we don't do well as well,” Kohli said on RCB podcast.

    The Indian talisman further added that owing to her deep-rooted connection with the city which dates back to even before their marriage, Anushka feels bad when the team ends on a losing side.
    “And as I said, there's a special connect with Bangalore already. So for her it was just things coming together in the most perfect manner that I happened to play in the city and she gets to go back to Bangalore and relive her special memories of growing up there. And she absolutely loves it,” he said, reflecting on his wife’s special relationship with the city.

    Till last year, Kohli used to be IPL’s most expensive player but this year he has lost on to the tag to compatriot KL Rahul after agreeing to a reduced salary for the next three years. Rahul was signed by Lucknow Super Giants for a whopping Rs 17 cr ahead of the auction and made him the most expensive pre-auction buy.
