It's really been a long time since we saw Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in films.
For years we have relied on him to give us captivating stories of love and romance with his signature gesture of outstretched arms.

And honestly, with the world really going to the dogs because of this depressing pandemic, we have needed him on screens again to fill our lives with light and joy.

Sadly, last year was obviously a very difficult year for him as well due to the whole controversy surrounding the arrest, imprisonment, and then release of his son Aryan Khan.
However, having taken time off for that, the actor is on course to finally make his much-awaited Bollywood comeback with the exciting Pathan film, among many of the other projects.
The movie starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will be one of the big guns to be released this year, offering Bollywood a chance to get back to making blockbuster films.

Now, at the back of reports of there being further delays in the shooting of Pathan, there are now reports that on top of the film, SRK is also bringing a behind-the-scenes video series on the film.

For his role in Pathan, it is said that Shah Rukh has been in the fittest shape of his life. Now, as per India Today, Shah Rukh is actually documenting his whole makeover in the film.

A source close to this development, while speaking to India Today, said, "Shah Rukh has been documenting his physical transition and how he has put on muscles for his role in Pathan in a behind-the-scenes video series. In Pathan, you will see him in a well-chiselled look and he will be releasing the BTS series closer to the film's release."
This is not the first time Shah Rukh has done something of this kind.
As per reports, the superstar had done a similar video series when he displayed his perfect six-pack abs in the 2007 superhit film Om Shanti Om.

Wow! We sure cannot wait for Pathan and this video series.  I say, bring on the Shah Rukh Khan fever!

There aren't many stars that come as big as Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood.

Known as the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh is undoubtedly one of the most successful and bankable stars in the industry, having made his name by acting in some legendary movies over his three-decade-year-old career.
Now, having worked for such a long time, Shah Rukh has had some really high ups and some really low downs.
While his son Aryan Khan's arrest by the NCB was definitely one, there is another really dark part of his past that really haunted him, and it was when he had an encounter with the underworld.
According to reports, Shah Rukh had once received calls from gangster Abu Salem.

The actor spoke about it in detail in Indian author and film critic Anupama Chopra's book The King of Bollywood.

    © Film Companion
The incident occurred when Shah Rukh had been shooting in Khandala for a film. As per the excerpts taken from the book:

"At the time, Shah Rukh was also shooting for Yash Chopra’s Dil To Pagal Hai. Part of the film was shot in a nearby tourist town called Khandala. One day, on the drive back, Shah Rukh received his first phone call from Abu Salem. In typical Mumbai street language, Salem asked, “Haan, kya chal raha hai” (What’s going on?). Shah Rukh asked, “Who’s this?” The question prompted a spate of choice Hindi curses. Shah Rukh didn’t retaliate. He spoke politely but deliberately in English, situating himself and his caller in separate worlds. Shah Rukh said, “What is the problem, sir?”
As per reports, Salem had wanted him to work in a film being made by a friend, which the actor refused to do but while explaining himself.
Following the incident, Shah Rukh was given security by the Mumbai Police, with Salem being in touch with the actor.

As per the book, Shah Rukh described the time as very 'depressing and scary'.

“He would tell me that he could see me,” Shah Rukh said. “It was like living under a telescope. It was very depressing and very scary.”
Shah Rukh followed Rakesh Maria’s dictum: Be polite, don’t take information, and don’t give any either. But after every conversation, Shah Rukh agonized over his words and wondered if he’d managed to say the right things and keep the peace.
“I’m not macho enough to turn around and say that I wasn’t scared of any of these guys. I was shit scared.” as per the excerpts from the book.
According to the book, Salem once wanted Shah Rukh to work in a particular film and the actor did not agree.
"A few times he told Shah Rukh to do a particular film, to which Shah Rukh politely replied that since he didn’t interfere in Salem’s job, Salem should not interfere in his. “I told him, I don’t tell you who to shoot so don’t tell me which film to do.”
Incredibly, Salem understood and respected the response, as per the excerpts of the book.
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in his comeback Bollywood film Pathan and will also have a big cameo role in Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra.

From fans to experts, whenever someone talks about Virat Kohli’s impact on the team, more often than not, the discussion starts and finishes on his individual batting performance.
And it’s quite understandable, after all, the Delhi batter is one of the pillars of the Indian team around whom our batting line-up revolves.
    © Twitter Virat Kohli
However, there is one more aspect of his game that is often overlooked – leadership quality. Apart from being a world-class batter, Kohli has, time and again, proven how good a leader he is.

He has a brilliant understanding of the game and has shown that he knows how to change the outcome of the game through his street-smart decisions.
There is one more aspect to his leadership that benefits the team, especially when their chips are down and the opposition is on the ascendancy.
    © Reuters
Despite all their hard work, sometimes, the bowlers don’t get the desired result and when that happens, it’s quite natural to feel disappointed. But as a leader, Kohli never allows his players to slip into that zone.

There are moments when the game plan implemented by him doesn’t work but instead of thinking too much about it, Kohli keeps the intensity high and always motivates his teammates to keep following the process.
    © Reuters
Whenever he is on the field, there is a different energy in the whole unit and it’s quite noticeable. We witnessed the same thing on Day 2 of the Cape Town Test. There was a period where the hosts were looking in complete control of the game. They had halved India’s first innings lead that too with six wickets in hand.

India’s first innings total wasn’t that big and one under normal circumstances the bowlers might have felt the pressure but not with Kohli on the ground.
With the Proteas in the driver’s seat, it was difficult to keep the intensity high, especially when there were no spectators in the stands. But Kohli kept telling his bowlers it was a matter of one wicket. If they could get that one breakthrough, it could open the floodgates for the home side. And that’s what exactly happened.
    © Reuters
Mohammed Shami provided the much-needed breakthrough in the 56th over of South Africa’s first innings. One wicket led to another and India bowled the hosts 13 short of their first innings score.

When Shami got Temba Bevuma’s wicket, Kohli knew this was their chance to seize the opportunity and push towards the first innings lead.
At this moment, he signalled towards the Indian dugout and asked the reserve players to start clapping in order to motivate the bowlers. “Keep clapping boys,” Kohli shouted towards his teammates sitting on the bench.
Kohli celebrates the wickets.. looks towards his team dug out and shouts 'Keep Clapping Boys.. Keep Clapping' and this follows..

This guy just creates an amazing atmosphere in the match.. pic.twitter.com/ens77zqg3M
    — Kanav Bali (@Concussion__Sub) January 12, 2022
Responding to their skipper’s call, all the Indian players started clapping in a synchronised manner to cheer on their teammates who were giving their all in the middle.
The visuals of the incident went viral on the internet and fans started praising Kohli’s inspiring leadership. Most of the fans felt that it was Kohli’s energy that prompted Team India to make a comeback in the game.
Need a stat-o-meter on how Kohli impacts the energy of the team, then maybe many will accept it..
    — Sarah Waris (@swaris16) January 12, 2022The energy that Virat Kohli brings in Test cricket is absolutely different. It is unmatchable! This guy truly rules the longest format of the game.#SAvIND
    — Prajakta (@18prajakta) January 12, 2022Kohli isn't human, guy got out yesterday on 79 broken and today as captain , as fielder he is most energetic from rest and 200% commitment. Unbelievable
    — . (@Chasemaster_18) January 12, 2022No crowd at the stadium?
    No problem!
    Talk about #Kohli the captain.#INDvsSA #SAvsIND#Tests #TestCricket#CricketTwitter pic.twitter.com/yi1vNyP3Ez
    — Criconomy (@criconomy) January 12, 2022Kohli's consistent energy throughout the day has really helped in India's cause. They needed a player this noisy in the last game. It would have helped the team a lot. There hasn't been a single flat moment today. #SAvIND
    — Born Sinner (@justkholii__) January 12, 2022The presence of Kohli wouldn't have upskilled the likes of Bumrah and Shami in Johannesburg. But if you would have played any sport at any competitive level, you'll understand the impact of "energy" and that it does make a difference, and that it is not nonsense.
    — Naman Agarwal (@CoverDrivenFor4) January 12, 2022Idk how effective Kohli's on-field energy is to the actual outcomes of the game but it makes up for some very watchable TV and I honestly love him for that.
    — Divyanshu (@MSDivyanshu) January 12, 2022I'd agree with this. Whether that 'energy' translates into something that determines the result of the match or not can be debated but the team does look a far more threatening bunch with Kohli around. Of course, everyone has their own style of leading but Kohli's energy is https://t.co/607JSfRMun
    — TheRandomCricketPhotosGuy (@RandomCricketP1) January 12, 2022Not just fans, even star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah feels that the skipper “brings a lot of energy” to the side and his motivation certainly helps the bowlers to give their best.
Jasprit Bumrah said, "Virat Kohli is always there to back us and he always gives all the bowlers alot of motivation. He brings alot of energy to the side. It's always good to play under him". (To Press).
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) January 12, 2022
“I made my Test debut under him. It's always wonderful that he is there to back us. He always gives lot of motivation to all the bowlers. He brings a lot of energy to the side. It's always good to play under him,” Bumrah said at the post-match press conference after stumps on Day 2.
Kohli has been simply brilliant in this game thus far and we hope that he continues on the same path and guides India to a historic Test series win.

The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives and it has also disrupted the sporting world in so many ways.
In cricket, we have witnessed teams refusing to travel or an ongoing series being called off after the outbreak of virus inside of the teams. The players also have to go under numerous tests and spend months inside a bio-bubble to be able to take the field for their respective countries.
Even one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world -- the Indian Premier League -- had to face the wrath of the pandemic last year as the T20 tournament had to be suspended after a few teams reported positive cases inside their bio-bubbles.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had to finish the tournament by hosting the remaining matches in the United Arab Emirates.
NEWS : IPL 2020 suspended till further notice

    — IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) April 16, 2020
With the COVID-19 cases rising in the country at an alarming rate, the BCCI is once again looking to stage the franchise-based tournament outside India.
According to a report by Indian Express, the upcoming edition of the IPL could be staged either in South Africa or in Sri Lanka. The report said that the BCCI officials are pleased with the arrangements provided by Cricket South Africa for India's ongoing tour of the Rainbow nation.
A board official said that after staging the tournament in the UAE in the past couple of years, the BCCI is looking to explore more options.
"We can’t be dependent on UAE all the time so we decided to explore more options, South Africa’s time difference also works out well for the players,” a BCCI official was quoted as saying by Indian Express.

    — Cricket South Africa (@OfficialCSA) October 16, 2021
While the decision is yet to be made, the news was enough to create a stir on social media as fans expressed their disapproval of the whole idea.
@BCCI Why give money to other country ?? Either host in India or cancel it ... https://t.co/WVEcpsxAfP
    — BitterSpy (@RitzOfficial5) January 13, 2022why @BCCI always desperate to organised IPL they cancel other domestic tournament bt cant cancel IPL for a single season and we indian people also give hype IPL then india loose like what happend T20 WC then blame IPL nd again start watching IPL again.

    — sure chan (@surechan2) January 7, 2022Just cancel the damn IPL tournament forever. It has created negative effects on our test team
    — sure chan (@surechan2) January 7, 2022We have seen two IPL seasons being played in the UAE while the 2009 season was the first time when the T20 league was staged overseas -- hosted in South Africa.
This season promises to be the biggest one with the addition of two new teams. At the moment, all we can do is hope that the Covid situation in the country improves so that we get to witness MS Dhoni and CSK defend their IPL title in India.

My brother and I, even though always at each other’s throat, ready to hurl insults at each other, even in sleep if we were asked to, love each other more than we love anyone. But I guess, that is the kind of a bond that siblings usually have, they’re tied to by blood and a bond that is hard to shake off. Even after 74 long years...
We are talking about the two brothers who were torn and kept apart from each other for 74 years due to the partition and only recently found their way to each other.
‘Kartarpur - the abode blissful’ has reunited two octogenarian brothers from across the border of Punjab after 74 years. They were separated at the time of Partition.

The corridor is indeed a beacon of hope after its opening by Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2019.

The Kartarpur Sahib Corridor drowned in teary eyes and in an atmosphere of sentiment after two brothers met for the first time after being separated by the partition back in 1947.

Muhammad Siddique held his elder brother Habib in his arms, as tears gushed down both their faces, in a visual that was as emotional as the moment of embrace.
The video that was captured is now making rounds on social media and going viral for all the right reasons. The caption of the video of the two brothers from the Kartarpur corridor read, “Kartarpur - the abode blissful has reunited two octogenarian brothers from across the border of Punjab after 74 years. They were separated at the time of Partition. The corridor is indeed a beacon of hope after its opening by Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2019."
Religion and pilgrimage aside for a moment… this is a heart-warming story from Kartarpur Sahib

Through the Kartarpur corridor, Muhammad Siddique, who is now 80-years-old and has been a resident of Bogra on the outskirts of Faisalabad for several years, could finally meet his long lost brother Habib who had been living in Punjab.
After a long time, I watched something that really made me a little emotional. Two brothers, one from India's Punjab and the other from Pakistan's Punjab, met in Kartarpur 74 years after they were separated. pic.twitter.com/AIlfPpDEPy
    — Roohan Ahmed (@Roohan_Ahmed) January 12, 2022 Back in 1947, Siddique’s mother had gone to Pakistan with Habib to meet her parents and after only two days, the partition happened. Siddique kept waiting for his mother and brother but neither of them returned. However, the long wait finally ended as their meeting was arranged by an NGO called "Punjabi Parchar".
Several people and torn-apart relatives have been united through this corridor and it is but a heartwarming sight to behold during such bleak times.

Naga Chaitanya, who was last seen in Love Story, is all set to entertain fans with his next film Bangarraju. While Love Story turned out to be a hit in 2021, the actor went through a rough patch in his personal life.
The actor's marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu came to an end as the duo announced their separation in October last year. Taking to social media, the duo in a joint statement informed fans that they are parting ways and said, "To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support".

Months after their split, Naga has finally broken his silence on divorce with Samantha recently while promoting Bangarraju. The actor shared that divorce is the best decision and they both are happy now.
During a media interaction, he said, "It is ok to be separated. That is a mutual decision made for their individual happiness. If she is happy, then I am happy. So divorce is the best decision in such a situation".

After the ex-couple announced their separation, Samantha was trolled brutally as her fans were disappointed with the Family Man 2 actress for ending her marriage like this. In an interview last month, Samantha talked about the tough phase after separation and shared that she thought she was weaker and would "crumble and die".
Well, both Chaitanya and Samantha have moved on in their lives now and are focusing on their careers. Although the ex-couple chose to not reveal the reason behind their split, various reports suggested that Chaitanya's family wasn't happy with Samantha's decision to continue doing bold roles and item numbers post marriage. In another interview, the Savyasachi actor had hinted at something similar.
Talking about portraying different roles on screen, Chaitanya said that he's ready to play all kinds of roles, however, he would not accept something that would embarrass his family members.
