AP Dhillon is like the current wave of Dolo-650 in our lives. You might not have consumed it, but it's present everywhere, and it’s a part of all our lives. Jokes apart, AP is making some banger music and in less than 3 years, he has changed how the world consumes and perceives Punjabi Music.

While the generic perception is around Punjabi singers talking about a Jaguar, a ‘jutti’ or other vain materialistic desires, AP Dhillon’s songs are more like life advice packed in a box of candy.
So if you’re a fan then you may agree with my humble opinion, but in case you are not and you’ve been trying to convert that one friend, then allow us to recommend what song to send for what mood:
    1. DesiresThis track from his latest album is super simple in nature. He’s legit asking the woman he loves to tell him what will make her smile and he advises her to let go of that anger and the tears that follow. No promises of ‘bangla gaadi’, only love.

    2. ExcusesYou’ve heard of break up songs, you have heard songs on a girl cheating on her guy and moving on, with the guy cursing her. Well, allow AP to tell you about how karma works. He literally tells the girl ‘that the way you left me and broke my heart, when the same happens to you, then you’d know.’ You know how they say wish them well and move on? Just add music to that emotion.

    3. ToxicA personal favourite, I love the simple analogy of the lyrics. Move over Heer-Ranjha, this one compares the girl to the folklore of Mirza-Sahiban tale. The song talks about how a girl has the power of converting a gangster into a saint. How beautiful is that?

    4. InsaneOkay, this is like a disclaimer for every woman falling for the wrong guy. He is explaining how that guy is going to leave you alone in the crowd, they only make tall claims and please don’t fall for them.

    5. Ma BelleThis one is a basic question turned into a song, and that question is about a guy being so madly in love, that it's impossible to find words to describe the beauty of his ‘belle’.

The infamous relationship of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai dominated all the gossip columns of all leading papers back in the day. Well, there were reports that Salman physically abused Aishwarya, and hence, the two called off their relationship. They worked in one of Bollywood's most iconic movies, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

They fell in love with each other but their love story ended within two years on a bitter note. From romance to controversies, Salman and Aishwarya have seen it all when they were in a relationship. Aishwarya Rai had addressed her bitter break-up with Salman in an interview to Times of India in 2002.
She said, “Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”

"I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehaviour in its worst phases and in turn I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman I ended my relationship with him," Aishwarya had told another leading daily as quoted by Pinkvilla.

Aishwarya had also revealed that Salman was cheating on her. Salman Khan responded to these allegations in an interview with a leading daily a couple of months after Aishwarya’s interview as reported by Pinkvilla and said, “No. I have never beaten her. Anyone can beat me up. Any fighter here on the sets can thrash me. That is why people are not scared of me. I do get emotional. Then I hurt myself. I have banged my head against the wall; I have hurt myself all over. I cannot hurt anyone else. I have only hit Subhash Ghai. Yet, I apologized to him the next day. There are times when you do get out of control. That person hit me with a spoon, almost broke a plate on my face, pissed on my shoes and grabbed me by the neck. I could not control myself. And see what happened. Next day, I had to go and apologize.”
What do you have to say about these statements by both the actors? Let us know in the comments section below.

In 2019, there was a report that claimed how Shah Rukh Khan saved Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager from fire during Diwali celebrations at Bachchan’s house.
The news had spread like wildfire and even Salman Khan had applauded SRK for his heroic act.
    View this post on Instagram
Well, turns out that it wasn’t the first time SRK had saved someone’s life.
Back in the late ‘90s, the superstar had also saved one of his co-star’s life during the shooting of the 1998 film Dil Se directed by Mani Ratnam.
The co-star in question here is actress Mita Vasisht. In a clip that has been going viral on Twitter from her interview with Navbharat Times, Mita can be seen recalling the incident.

One of the most iconic moments in cinematic history in recent years was the (not so) surprising arrival of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man along with Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Seeing two previous versions of Spideys joining hands or rather webs with the current Spider-Man Tom Holland was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I remember the audience in my theatre going crazy when Tobey made an appearance in the film and how many people were even choked up by his return.

The reason for such a massive reaction to the film was not only because it belonged to MCU or that it’s a Spider-Man film, but it’s also majorly because of the brilliant fan service by Marvel Studios.

I am not saying it wasn’t a good film, but nostalgia was the major factor that got the film all the moolah and it is already in the top ten biggest grossers of all time in the world.
Spider-Man: No Way Home isn’t the only Hollywood film that cashed in on nostalgia, the list is endless.
In the last few years, Disney in specific has rebooted a lot of their older films. Most of the time they succeeded be it live-action Aladdin, The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Cruella and the other times the result was unsatisfactory - Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp and Mulan.

While the idea of cashing in on the nostalgia to grab quick cash was always there and we have examples like multiple Terminator reboots, Jurassic World etc, in the last two-three years or so, the number of such films have increased manifolds.

Some of the most popular and talked about reboots, remakes, reunions, revivals and sequels of older films released in the last two years include The Matrix Resurrections, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Tom & Jerry, Scoob!, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Coming 2 America, Mortal Kombat, Candyman, Halloween Kills, Home Sweet Home Alone and Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.

TV shows weren’t left behind either, Dexter made a comeback after almost a decade with season 9 titled Dexter: New Blood. Treated as a sequel as well as a reboot of the polarising original series finale, Dexter: New Blood found love once again.

Then there was also the Turner and Hooch TV series based on the 1989 film of the same name starring Tom Hanks. However, the show failed to grab eyeballs and got cancelled after one season.

Other such shows and events include Full House revival Fuller House, The Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark, *** and the City revival And Just Like That… Gossip Girl sequel, Saved by the Bell revival, iCarly revival and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe sequel Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

Having said that, the biggest and the most talked about event in TV history in recent times was also all about nostalgia, the Friends: The Reunion.
    © HBO Max
Most of the aforementioned films and shows turned out to be a huge success with the fans irrespective of whether they were actually good or not. And Hollywood is not stopping at that in the near future as well.

Some of the popular upcoming movies and shows include Top Gun: Maverick, Scream, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, Death on the Nile, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Matilda and Enchanted sequel Disenchanted.
The reason behind cashing in nostalgia could be that it assures free publicity and a large set of eyeballs. Irrespective of whether the movie or a show is good or not, fans of the project will definitely check it out at least once. So, that way, half the job is done which also means, the age of nostalgia is here to stay.

As for why nostalgia is often a sure shot bet for the film and TV studios, Michael Sheen’s character Paul Bates sums it up nicely in Woody Allen’s 2011 film Midnight in Paris, “Nostalgia is denial - denial of the painful present... the name for this denial is golden age thinking - the erroneous notion that a different time period is better than the one one's living in - it's a flaw in the romantic imagination of those people who find it difficult to cope with the present.”

Personally, I am a sucker for nostalgia and looking forward to almost all the reboots, revivals, sequels and even remakes but at the same time, I am cautious of studios ruining the legacy of the original much-loved masterpiece.

Now, that’s a fine line to tread which Spider-Man: No Way Home aced and Matrix Resurrections failed at. So, here’s looking forward to how other such films and shows fare in the year 2022, 2023 and so on…

Thanks to the innumerable porn videos that you’ve seen, saved and secretly tried to reimagine with you as the main guy, a lot of real facts about *** and our sexual organs have been distorted far away from the truth.

    via GIPHY
Like the fact that small boobs are no fun, or that every plumber who comes to fix a leaky faucet in your house plans on fixing something else too, or that an average size of a ***** is 6 inches and above.
    Guess what? It isn’t.
In fact, studies show that the average ***** size when it is erect is only somewhere between 4.7 to 6.3 inches, unlike what porn may have you believe.
And by that account, having a 5-inch ***** isn’t really considered having a small *****.
However, for those of you who do have a small *****, *** life doesn’t have to be that dull or even at all for that matter. Here is everything you need to know about having a small *****:
    1) It Works Just Fine  © iStock
Despite the fact that a small ***** is widely criticized, the crux of the matter is that it works fine and just like any other sized *****.

It gets erect, can be masturbated with and ejaculates just fine. In fact, there is absolutely no difference from the perceived size difference.
    2) Women Don’t Care As Much As You Think  © iStock
The only phrase scarier than ‘we need to talk’ is that ‘women talk’, and oftentimes, men fear that they might just gossip about their ***** size.

And while that might have been the case quite a few times, women don’t really care for the size when they’re having ***.
You see, as long as you’re able to pleasure a woman, the size, the girth, the technique, nothing matters.
    3) Only 0.6% Of Men Actually Have A Micro-***** © iStock
The idea that all men should ideally have a big ***** has led men with even average-sized penises into believing that they have a small *****.

In actuality, less than 1% of men out there have a micro-***** which is recorded at a length of less than 7 cm (2 3/4 inches). And this condition is usually pointed out at birth or during infancy itself.
    4) You Can Make A Woman Orgasm Just As Gloriously © iStock
The thing about making a woman climax in bed is that the length of your ***** will seldom have any role to play. It’s what you do with what you’ve got, that actually sets the tone in the bedroom.

Whether you use your hands, your tongue or your ***** in a manner that rocks her world is up to your imagination, but a small-sized ***** being able to lead a woman to a euphoric climax is a fact!
    5) A Small ***** Doesn’t Mean You’re Less Of A Man © iStock
Most of the time, the insecurity that breeds in a man for the size of his ***** is because of the pressure that porn films or women’s unrealistic expectations have set for them. However, men must realize that having a particular size of a ***** isn’t the end of the world.

Each person is born with a unique body and we must learn to embrace it, for what makes a man isn’t the size of his *****, but his integrity and his character that is never defined by how long his person is.
After all, size doesn’t matter and there are plenty of women who’ve seconded that statement!

For a female-oriented film to work, you need a great storyline, a brilliant actress to headline it and a smart audience.
However, Bollywood has made many female-focused films, where all the audience remembers, is the male actor in them. Doesn’t make sense, right?
Think Chak De! India, Pink and Mission Mangal.
    © Cape of Good Films
This makes us appreciate the male actors who have worked in women-centric films and made an impact without taking away the focus or spotlight. We love them because they were supportive, charming and unforgettable in their roles and didn’t overshadow the plotline of the protagonist with their presence.

    © Fox Star Studios
Here are 5 such actors in women-centric movies who we loved for their memorable and yet subtle roles:

    1. Irrfan Khan In Piku  © MSM Motion Pictures
Although there were two brilliant male actors, Piku still remains in Deepika's film which shows her relationship with her father.

Irrfan as Rana brings the quirk, fun and romance in her life and still doesn’t overshadow her even a bit.
    2. Shah Rukh Khan In Dear Zindagi  © Red Chillies Entertainment
We didn’t think we could overlook the King Of Bollywood in a movie.

However SRK perfectly blends in as a character actor, a therapist who helps the protagonist with her mental health, insomnia and family issues like the film demanded.
    3. Vikrant Massey In Chappaak  © Fox Star Studios
Based on a true story, Deepika’s Chappaak has Vikrant Messay as the male protagonist Amol Dwivedi who supports her throughout the film and plays the role of a friend and impactful reporter with conviction.

    4. Sunny Doel in Damini © Shemaroo Entertainment
It’s one of the few movies of the older years where the male actors dominated the film. However, Sunny Doel’s portrayal of Advocate Govind Srivastava showed how to play a powerful character without making it your own film.

    5. Pankaj Tripathi In Gunjan Saxena  © Dharma Productions
Pankaj Tripathi is an acting chameleon and is the highlight of any film he does.

However, in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, he doesn’t take the focus off Janhvi Kapoor and essays the role of a super supportive father to her.
