    Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa has managed to become one of the biggest hits in Pan India and continues to go stronger in states where theaters are still open. Allu Arjun fans are elated to see him in this new avatar and it’s one of those movies which if once you have watched, it is impossible for you to imagine anyone else playing a certain role.


    However, director Sukumar’s original choice was not Allu but another Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. There were rumours that the script was written with Mahesh in mind and the actor eventually refused the project owing to the gray shades in the film. However recently the director, Sukumar, has cleared the air and explained what really happened and how the movie ended up being Allu’s project.
    Sukumar explained that he initially wanted to make a film about the Andhra Pradesh red sander smuggling case with Mahesh Babu but that didn’t take flight. He then later tweaked the story with Allu Arjun, and created the two-part multilingual film — Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa: The Rule.
    “The story I narrated to Mahesh Babu was also based on red sander smuggling but that was a while ago. Once I came out of the project, I wrote a different story. I wanted the character attitude. And with Mahesh Babu, I couldn’t make him cool. He is very fair. So, the backdrop was the same but the story is different,” he told PTI.

    “We (Arjun) have a very good bond and we are good friends. We have worked on Arya and Arya 2. He agreed to do the movie soon after I narrated the idea, he was very excited. And when I completed the story, I went to him again. Also, we started Pushpa as a Telugu movie but then with the subject and Allu Arjun being on board, we thought of making it as a multilingual,” he added.

    While Mahesh Babu has a fan base of his own, now this movie can only be associated with Allu Arjun.

    With his latest outing Dhamaka and many more announcements, he is living his best days. With success comes fan following and Kartik enjoys a crazy female fan following. Just today, his two die-hard fans were spotted outside his building and screaming his name. The video of the same has been shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani. In the video, they can be heard screaming, “Kartik please come…. please please please.” Sharing the video, Viral wrote, “Two fangirls consistently scream @kartikaaryan's name under his building to catch a glimpse of the actor! #KartikAarayan.”

    Well, these female fans were in for a surprise as their favourite actor did step down to meet them. In the video shared by Filmfare, Kartik is seen obliging them with pictures and also telling them he saw the video and hence he got to know about them screaming his name. His guards also told him to greet these two female fans.

    Ask any tail-ender what they like the most, dismissing a top batter or smashing a world class bowler deep into the stands, chances are most of them would pick the latter, the reason being it's not something which comes naturally to them.
    Like any other fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah loves terrifying the batters with his bowling but it is something that we all expect of him. He is so talented that he can pick wickets even with his closed eyes. Obviously now we don’t want him to do that.

    Who can forget the brilliant unbeaten 89-run partnership that he made with fellow pacer Mohammed Shami at the Lord’s last year and laid the foundation for one of India’s most memorable Test victories on English soil?
    He showed another glimpse of his batting masterclass on Day 1 of the second Test between South Africa and India when he smashed South Africa’s premier fast bowler Kagiso Rabada for a maximum and a couple of boundaries.
    Like any other pacer, Rabada too decided to opt for short-pitch bowling tactics against the Indian tail-ender and tried to scare him off. What the Proteas bowling spearhead didn’t expect, however, was the befitting reply from the Indian pacer, which left him scratching his head.

    In his 10-film-old career, Kartik Aaryan has mostly worked with new-age filmmakers and has often found success. 
    However, a lesser-known fact about him is that before making it big in the Hindi film industry as a leading man, Kartik also played a supporting role in veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s last directorial Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. 
    Starring Mishti in the titular role, the film also featured Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. 
    Ahead of the release of the film in 2014, Kartik had revealed in an interview that he filmed a passionate kissing scene with Mishti for which he took as many as 37 retakes.

    During an interview with Filmfare, when Kartik was asked about sharing a kiss with Mishti doing 37 retakes, he blushed and joked saying that Mishti 'kept making mistakes deliberately' and also stated that he was about to ask Subhash Ghai to show him how to ace a passionate kissing scene. 

    He said, “Maybe, Mishti deliberately kept making mistakes. Subhash ji wanted a passionate kiss. I didn’t know how to kiss. I was about to ask him, ‘Sir please show me how to do it!’. I never thought a kissing scene would be such a headache. We behaved like lovers that day. Towards the end, Subhash ji was happy that we finally got it.”

    However, this wasn’t Kartik’s first on-screen kiss as he had shared a few kisses in his debut film Pyaar Ka Punchnama with co-star Nushrratt Bharuccha. 

    As for the film Kaanchi, it was a commercial and critical disaster. 
    After his debut film, Kartik faced back to back box office setbacks as two of his films Aakash Vaani and Kaanchi flopped at the box office. 
    It was his fourth film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, a sequel to his debut film that became a big success.

    Currently, a video of a young guy urinating in public at an airport is doing the rounds on the internet with the claim that he is SRK's son Aryan. 
    The viral video shows a young guy, apparently disoriented, peeing publicly at an airport. While onlookers get shocked, a man is seen trying to stop the guy. Eventually, the security personnel are shown taking the youth into custody.

    So, is it really Aryan Khan in the video? Well, the truth is finally out and the guy seen in the viral clip is not him. Reportedly, the young guy in the video is Twilight actor Bronson Pelletier. The video is said to be from 2012 when Bronson was in an inebriated state at Los Angeles International Airport. After being removed from a flight, he urinated publically and got arrested for the act. Later, after being found guilty, the actor was sentenced to two years in probation.
    This was not the first time when Aryan's name was dragged into a controversy due to a viral video. A few years ago too, he made headlines when an MMS had gone viral. At that time, there were claims that it was Aryan in the clip. At last, even those . 
    Coming back to SRK, the superstar took a break after Aryan's arrest and recently resumed work. He is currently busy with Siddharth Anand's much-hyped film Pathan, co-starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Rumours have it that the actor has also signed Rajkumar Hirani and Atlee's next projects. However, the official announcement is still awaited.

    If there is one Bollywood movie that almost everyone is waiting for this year, it's got to be the superstar-ridden superhero movie called Brahmastra.

    Directed by Ayan Mukerjee, Brahmastra has been one of the most awaited movies of the decade, with fans being constantly frustrated regarding its delayed release for years.

    The film will pair together real-life lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with a stellar cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Telugu and Tamil superstar Nagarjun.

    2022 is really the year that sees the release of a lot of blockbuster films in Bollywood, however, Brahmastra is set to remain in a league of its own.
    As the hype goes, it could very well be Bollywood's answer to superhero movies like the Avengers and the Spider-Man franchise. (Or at least try getting there!)
    Now, one thing that will certainly excite fans even further is that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will indeed have a huge part to play in the movie, with the Pathan actor having a massive cameo in the film.
    Bollywood director Karan Johar, who is one of the producers of the film, revealed many details around the film and how stars like Shah Rukh, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna will have a big part to play.

    Speaking at Film Companion’s Producers’ Round Table Discussion, Karan said, “I’ve realized that it takes time when you make a film, you’ve got to give it time. You’ve learned the power of storyboarding; you’ve learned the power of also working with people who really care about your film. They didn’t just sign your film because it's money to them or it’s a commitment. It’s because they really believe in. If you’re doing something that large, you’ve got to have a crew that actually becomes organically embedded in that film’s fabric. And that’s what happened with Brahmastra.”
    Talking about SRK's role in the film, Karan revealed how King Khan actually spent around 15 days shooting for the film in comparison to the original shooting period of 5 days.
    “Like Nagarjuna, he came on board; Shah Rukh Khan has done a massive cameo for us. We thought it would be five days but he shot for 15 days. And without a question asked, he saw the vision of the sequence. It’s like Mr Bachchan; he came just about like that. This is not just our film; it’s everyone’s film, you can take ownership of it. Tomorrow, the producers' list is large, the actor list is larger. It’s like we’re all just like part of this one big mega film that just needs the world to watch it. So, we like literally want every centre in this country and world to come out and watch because we don’t need it just for the money; we need it to kind of validate the seven years.” said Karan.

    After the rather surprisingly disappointing first innings played by Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane during the second Test of the India-South Africa Test series, the two cricketers have been the talk of the town as analysts and fans believe that they might be dropped from the squad as soon as the match is over.
    However, former Indian all-rounder, Irfan Pathan suggests that the captain of the Indian Test cricket team, Virat Kohli’s situation is not a lot different from Rahane and Pujara and that if he continues to show bad form and get out early due to lack of patience, the outcome may not be a lot different for him as well.

    "We are talking about senior players here, they have played more than 60 Test matches and when you have played that amount of Test cricket for India, you need to average more than 40. And if you look at their averages in the last 3 years, it has been under 30 and that is highly disappointing," Pathan told Star Sports.
    On Day 1 of the Wanderers Test, Pujara took 33 deliveries to score just three runs and then get dismissed while getting completely stunned by Duanne Olivier and lofting an easy catch into the hands of Temba Bavuma. On the other hand, Rahane managed to get the first-ever golden-duck of his career in the longest format of the game.

    While Rahane did manage to put up some numbers during the first Test at the Centurion (48 and 20), it felt as if Pujara has been completely out of touch with the game as he got out on a golden duck in the first inning and hit 16 of 64 deliveries in the second.
    When it comes to Kohli, the numbers aren’t all that different. The Test skipper scored 35 and 18 in the first and second innings of Test 1, respectively and is missing from the squad for the second Test after suffering upper back spasms days before the match began. Kohli has also not hit a single century in over two years. His ton against Bangladesh during the November 2019 Pink Ball Test at Eden Gardens remains his most recent triple-digit score.

    Pathan is surprised how the Men in Blue have managed to do so well in the longest format of the game despite Kohli’s seemingly ever-lasting slump in form. If India manages to win the Test series in South Africa, they would complete their quest for world dominance in Tests, including on the turf of the mighty SENA countries.
    "Surprising that India is still doing well despite Virat Kohli not scoring runs, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara in the same boat. They need to start performing consistently because guys are waiting in the wings," Pathan said.

    In fact, Hrithik's popularity amongst tourists from all parts of the world was so much that the Bang Bang actor even surpassed even Shah Rukh, who had been part of the Top 10 Most Kissed list in the previous year.

    As per a DNA report, Hrithik had beaten several renowned Hollywood stars to be on the list, with around 80 per cent of the people kissing the statue being women and kids, while the rest were a mix of men from various age groups.
    “Madame Tussauds releases a list every year about the top 10 most kissed statues in their museum. Last year, SRK’s statue was among the top 10. This year though the official press release has yet to come. Their survey shows that Hrithik is among the top 10 most kissed statues.” said a source speaking to DNA back in 2013.
    As per the source, Hrithik was mentioned on the list mainly due to his overall *** appeal.
    “The girls and kids just love him and his popularity has been growing globally thanks to his reality show and also the fact that kids love him as Krrish and girls for his s*x appeal. I think it is for the first time that a statue in its first year has been among the top 10 most kissed waxworks”, said the source.

    Ahead of Day 1 of the second Test between India and South Africa on Tuesday, the fans of the Men in Blue were rather surprised to see KL Rahul walk to the middle of the Wanderers cricket ground for the toss alongside the Protea captain Dean Elgar instead of Virat Kohli.
    It was going to be his 99th Test match, and after being relieved of all his white-ball responsibilities as captain ahead of the tournament, the Indian cricket fraternity is expecting him to get back in his top form as a batter any day now.

    However, the confusion about Kohli’s absence from the field was quickly cleared out by Rahul, who confirmed that he was going to be leading the touring squad in the penultimate Test of the series after Kohli picked up a severe upper back spasm ahead of the game and was going to be ruled out for the entirety of Test 2.
    Rahul did clarify that the ace batter should be able to recover in time to play the final Test of the series in Cape Town and based on the way things are looking for the Men in Blue ahead of the second Day of the second Test, it is a safe bet to say that the team would need their original skipper’s support to be able to take this series home.

    Nonetheless, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Sunil Gavaskar has found a silver lining regarding Kohli missing out on the second Test with the injury.
    While being on commentary duty on Day 1 of the second Test, Gavaskar talked about how missing out on this Test would make the Cape Town match his 99th in the longest format of the game, which further meant that Kohli would be playing his 100th game in India, among his most energetic fans.

    What’s even better is the fact that the first Test match at home will be played on 25th February at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, the home to the Royal Challengers Bangalore, which Kohli captained for over nine years before giving it up at the end of the 2021 season.
