Shweta Tiwari daughterβs Palak TiwariΒ recently hit the headlines for her music video debut in music sensation Harrdy Sandhuβs latest track Bijlee Bijlee. With popularity in the field of glamour comes backlash and trolling and well, Palak is now the recent victim of social media bullying.Β

Recently, she was spotted stepping out of her gym and posing for the shutterbugs. She was seen wearing skin-colored joggers with a sports bra. She happily posed for the cameramen and even talked about how she is scared of the new Omicron variant and rising COVID cases.Β Β
Here are the photos and the video:Β Β

As soon as her photos and the video started doing the rounds on the internet, she was brutally trolled and people stooped down to the level of body shaming her. From calling her βkuposhitβ to βkankalβ, people were way too mean while talking about her look.Β Β

Not just that, people also trolled for not wearing a mask while talking to the media present outside her gym. Well, she should have worn the mask as she was talking about COVID but we donβt support people trolling and body shaming her.Β Β
Here are the reactions:Β Β

On the professional front, she is getting a big Bollywood platform, courtesy Vivek Oberoi. He will be launching her in the film industry with his upcoming horror-thriller franchise, Rosie The Saffron Chapter. The movie is said to be based on true events that took place in Gurugram.Β
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, she opened up about her film, and on nepotism too. βApart from the reasons that people list, I feel like not just for me, but for every other person thatβs considered to be like a nepotism kid, even for them I think itβs a privilege just knowing your parents so personally - people that are so idealized by so many others. That I feel is such a privilege,β said Palak.Β
View this post on Instagram
βWhat I have always felt about nepotism, I believe that if you have as an actor the capability to come up with a director, a great production team and create this synergy that people love, that goes beyond where you come from, and goes beyond who your dad or mom is. They donβt care. So many great actors that we have, have been outsiders. Akshay (Kumar) Sir was an outsider, people have not sat here and said that I like him more because he is an outsider. They like him because they likeΒ him. If your work speaks volumes, it will always speak volumes, and you cannot deny that,β she added.Β Β

Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly a very fine Bollywood actor who's just gone on to become even better with age.
Having made his debut with 2003's Ishq Vishk, Shahid has done almost every role in the sun, with his performances in Haider, Kaminey, Kabir Singh, and Udta Punjab earning him plaudits from fans as well as critics.Β Β
Β© Netflix
However, he's also known to have said no to many big Bollywood films that have turned out to do very well at the box office.
Here's a look at some of them.
1. Rockstar Β© Prime Video
The film is considered to be one of the movies that really set Ranbir Kapoor at the top.
Ranbir played the role of a troubled rockstar in the film, which has gone on to have a cult following.
However, according to reports, the movie was first offered to Shahid by Imtiaz Ali, who offered him the chance to choose between two scripts, Jab We Met and Rockstar.
Unfortunately, he could only do one as per reports, and we know what he chose.
2. Rang De Basanti Β© Netflix
Rang De Basanti was one of the most revolutionary movies to have come out of Bollywood.
Having the star cast of Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Sharman Joshi, R Madhvan, Atul Kulkarni, Kunal Kapoor, Alice Patten, Kirron Kher, and Soha Ali Khan, the movie is a fan favourite.
However, the role of Siddharth in the film was first offered to Shahid, before he turned it down.
Speaking about it in an interview with Neha Dhupia, Shahid said he regretted the decision. "I regret not doing the film. They wanted me to play the role of Siddharth. I'd cried while reading the script and loved it, but unfortunately couldn't make time for it." said Shahid.
3. Bang Bang Β© Disney+Hotstar
Bang Bang may have been a Bollywood remake of Tom Cruise's Knight And Day, but it didn't stop it from doing well at the box office.
Starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, the movie was a huge success but did you know that director Siddharth Anand had approached Shahid for the role of Hrithik in the film?
As per a TOI report, Shahid turned the role down.Β
4. Raanjhanaa Β© Prime Video
Okay! Raanjhanaa still divides the opinions of fans but at the time of the release, it actually ended up doing well.
Starring Sonam Kapoor, Dhanush, and Abhay Deol, the movie became an instant hit.
Now, while it might be weird to imagine, as per reports, Dhanush's role was first offered to Shahid, who ended up rejecting it.
5. Shuddh Desi Romance Β© Prime Video
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's Shuddh Desi Romance was a movie that was well-liked by critics.
And as per reports, the movie had been first offered to Shahid, who for some reason ended up rejecting it as well. It may well have been a very different career graph for Shahid had he made different choices.

However, he still remains a very talented actor who has been on a roll delivering back to back hits. He will next be seen in the sports film Jersey.Β
Let's hope he keeps picking up good scripts further ahead as well!

The internet trolls and the so-called keyboard warriors can sometimes be extremely brutal and insensitive. While fun banter and jokes on celebs is something one takes in a light spirit, sometimes, people forget that theyβre commenting about a fellow living being.
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been in the news lately in relation to the ongoing enquiry by ED in a case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, is often being targeted on the internet. The man involved in an extortion case recently revealed he was in a relationship with Jacqueline and that she has received gifts over Rs 10 crores from him.

Earlier in the evening today the news of her mother being hospitalized following a stroke came out and while her real fans were sending wishes for the good health of her mom, some haters couldnβt stop trolling her after she was clicked outside a salon, getting in her car. Some replied to the image with comments asking if she received a discount coupon for the salon services, while many asked her how she was outside while her mother was in a hospital.

One needs to be a little kinder to humans. While she was indeed clicked around the time the news about her mother came out, it is obviously possible that she is rushing because she found out while she was there. Her mother lives in a different country so relating the two things to make βmuch ado about nothingβ is actually bad.Β

Do you remember that dialogue from K3G where Amitabh, Shahrukh Khan and subsequently Hrithik Roshan talk about βparamparaβ?Β How it was of utmost importance to uphold a few values and traditions of their family?Β
Turns out, Jaya Bachchan wasnβt any different, not just in the movie but also in real life, except She wasnβt as much trying to uphold Indian traditions as she was trying to feed into Indian patriarchy.Β
To add more context, we are talking about this very old interviewΒ of the actress turned politician Jaya Bachchan where she talks about her daughter in law, Aishwarya Rai, and what according to her makes her the most ideal daughter in law ever.Β
Spoiler alert? Itβs going to leave you cringing. Hard.Β
In a clip from the hit show Koffee With Karan, where the host and director Karan Johar is talking to then actress Jaya Bachchan about how she felt about Aishwarya Rai, Jaya ends up putting patriarchy on display by sharing how one of the main reasons she adores Aishwarya is because she knows how to be βquietβ.Β
Β© Aishwarya Rai
Jaya Bachchan starts by saying how she is in complete awe of Aishwarya Rai and then goes on to laud her for qualities that according to her make her an ideal Indian daughter-in-law. These qualities, as per her, are that she knows how to βstand behindβ, how to βbe quiet and listenβ.
She goes on to say that even though she is a big star, she likes that Aishwarya never pushes herself and knows how to take it all in. Which,Β according to a lot of usersΒ was only code for knowing that βshe knows that she isnβt allowed to voice her opinions.β
Β© Reddit
Β© Reddit
Several people have come up and called out Jaya Bachchan for her regressive thoughts and shown their dissent towards her opinion on Aishwarya Rai.Β
A user even wrote, βI don't care how good or not good looking Abhishek is but truly, Aishwarya could've done way better than this family! Do they expect a star like her to just blend in?β
Guess, we canβt blame people for calling Jaya Bachchan out on such controversial views after all, what do you think?

Tiger Shroff has never had an 'average physique' phase. The man just entered Bollywood with a super fit, super ripped God-bod, and it only seems to be getting better and better, one film at a time.Β
View this post on Instagram
He is shooting for Ganapath, and it will be released in a year. However, we have already seen some glimpses of how he will look in the movie, and let's just say it's an upgraded version of the already insane physique he has.
View this post on Instagram
It's insane, right? Those abs are on fire. Now, the question most beginners in the gym would be asking is: "How do I get this physique?" While there are great trainers who would help them achieve this lofty goal, one day at a time, there also are some not so qualified trainers who would give wrong advice that will only prove to be detrimental to their journey.Β
via GIPHY
Let's look at 3 such wrong pieces of advice that bad trainers will give you, if your goal is to attain a lean muscled, ripped body like Tiger Shroff in Ganapath.Β
1. Cardio for losing excess fat around stomach
via GIPHY
No, please no! Cardio has its advantages, but fat loss is NOT one of them. Fat loss will happen only through calorie deficit. Please get this established as soon as someone asks you to spend half an hour on the treadmill.Β
2. Working out for 4-5 hours or twice a day
via GIPHY
If you are a novice, that will only ensure slow recovery, more injuries, and making exercise your enemy on a psychological level. Progress takes time, and body recomposition does not happen in a week or a month. Working out for super long hours or twice a day is for advanced athletes or bodybuilders, and it can be counterproductive for beginners. Don't put yourself through unnecessary stress, and focus on consistency. Show up every single day, and do your bit without fail. You'll see results.Β
3. When they ask you to 'eat more' or 'eat less' without quantification
via GIPHY
Technically, yes, food modification is a must to achieve that physique. However, randomly asking someone to eat more or eat less is a cardinal sin which will resort to nothing. Quantified nutrition is the magical key to all your problems. For weight gain, eat 200-300 calories above your TDEE, and for weight loss eat 200-300 calories below your TDEE for sustainable progress. Plus, calculating your macros (protein, carbs, and fat) is also extremely important.
Steer clear of these bad pieces of advice and bad trainers in general, and watch yourself achieve your goals quickly. All the best!

Bollywood gets a lot of things wrong. One of them is messing up the clothes of the cast.Β
Be it the slip-ups in official uniforms or outfits that arenβt appropriate for a season, Hindi cinema has a reputation for not putting in enough thought and research before dressing up the cast>.Β
Β© Dharma Productions
After revisiting the films we've loved since forever, we realise that some things donβt quite add up, like the wardrobe of the people in the movie that donβt really go with a particular weather or season. Itβs confusing and cringy but funny too, sometimes.Β Β
Β© Yash Raj Films
Here are five Bollywood movies in which we still don't know what the weather was, thanks to the random costumes the cast wore:
1. Mohabbatein Β© Yash Raj Films
We spent our entire childhood thinking itβs autumn in this film because that dry leaf is practically one of the main leads! But girls are in summer clothes while the boys wear blazers and sweaters inside the school like itβs December.Β
Thereβs Uday Chopra who wears sleeveless jackets and Shah Rukh Khan has a pullover over his shoulder in the entire movie. Someone explain.
2. Student Of The YearΒ Β© Dharma Productions
The college is supposed to be in Dehradun, Uttarakhand but the filmmakers did little or no research on how students dress for the weather, let alone for school.Β
They have blazers for uniforms but there are people roaming around in T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, sweaters and hoodies, all at the same time.Β
3. Main Hoon Na Β© Red Chillies Entertainment
Okay, before you tell us βitβs definitely winter' in Main Hoon Na, hear us out.Β
It could be Bollywoodβs logic of women not feeling cold, but Amrita Rao is literally in crop tops. And, Sushmita in a chiffon saree when SRK is in a half sweater and letβs not talk about Zayed Khan whose style changes like weather (excuse the pun).Β Β
4. Kapoor & Sons Β© Dharma Productions
Although set in Coonoor which is pleasant throughout the year, every person in this movie dresses for different weather.Β
While Fawad Khan dons a sweater in most scenes, Alia is wearing only sundresses. Even in the poster, everyone is wearing clothes apt for different seasons.Β
5. Race 3Β Β© Salman Khan Films
We agree that expecting logic from a movie like Race 3 is redundant but seriously, what is going on with the wardrobe of the cast in this film? Anil Kapoor is walking the desert in an overcoat while Bhai is in a T-shirt.Β
Lord Bobby is wearing a jacket and thereβs someone wearing a waistcoat. Although itβs none of our business, why is Daisy Shah wearing a leather jacket?Β

Quite a lot of who we are and what we have depends on our parents, our lineage and what we have inherited from them. For example our values, our habits and even our genetics.Β Β
For some, that might translate into inheriting looks and for others, it boils down to other physical attributes - like how quickly they start losing hair.
Β© Maddock Films
You see, things like hair loss are widely driven by the kind of genetics we have and are even hereditary in many cases. Of course, other things that play a major role in deciding the pace of such hair loss is the kind of lifestyle we have and how much we take care of ourselves.Β
However, no matter how late or quickly you feel youβre beginning to deal with thinning hair, it doesnβt have to be the end of the world.Β
Here is how you can make the most of your thinning hair:
1) Go For The Right Cut Β© Maddock Films
One of the most important things to keep in mind when you have thinning hair is to play the right things to your advantage, like a good haircut.Β
Instead of obsessing over the haircuts of our favourite actors, sportspersons or idols, itβs best to analyze your head shape, hairline and go for a cut that will accentuate your hairline.Β
Go for a cut that will provide some density to your hair even when you donβt style them, instead of choosing cuts that would look nice only with product in them.
2) Wash Your Hair With Both - Shampoo And Conditioner Β© iStock
An oily scalp is the death of good, voluminous hair and so, it becomes imperative to take care of your head by not just shampooing but also by going one step further and using a conditioner.Β Β
The better care you take of your hair, the more they are likely to stay strong and resist thinning.Β
3) Style It Right Β© iStock
Another thing to use to your advantage is styling your hair right. A lot of experts suggest the use of mousse as opposed to gel, for it provides a lot more texture and volume.Β Β
The idea is to style your hair in a way that adds density to your cut and helps them stay up for a longer period of time to counteract the impact of thinning hair.Β

Atrangi Re, helmed by Aanand L Rai, starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, premiered on December 24 on Disney+Hostar. In the first weekend itself, the movie broke records and had the biggest opening weekend on the OTT platform. While the lead trio is getting appreciation for their performances, the film's storyline is being criticised by a section of viewers for trivialising mental health. According to them, the makers failed to do justice to the mental health issues that the film's protagonist Rinku (Sara's character) had.
View this post on Instagram
In an interview, Atrangi Re writer Himanshu Sharma has finally reacted to the film's criticism. Talking to India Today, Himanshu shared that he is feeling great as the hard work has finally paid off and fans are liking the unconventional plot.
Addressing the criticism, he said, "In the end, it's a film and not a documentary. It is not a 500 word essay on mental illness, it is a film, it needs to entertain you. When we write a film, it has to maneuver its way to many of the issues that I spoke about, and at times certain things take a backseat, and other times it takes a forefront".
View this post on Instagram
Himanshu added, "Yes, the mental health issue is there but to me as a writer and for Aanand as a director, it was more of a sugar coating to say larger things. See the film for what it is and not for what you wanted".
For the unversed, the film revolves around the characters of Rinku and Vishu (played by Dhanush) who are forcefully married. After spending some time together, both of them start liking each other. However, their love story takes a U-turn after the entry of Rinku's lover Sajjad (Akshay Kumar).
Produced by Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, the film also stars Seema Biswas, Ashish Verma, and Dimple Hayathi in pivotal roles.
