    Ever since he made his debut with Socha Na Tha, Abhay Deol proved he is unlike any other Deol the audience has ever seen on the big screen, be it performances, his choice of roles, his films or how he conducts himself in the media.  
    The actor believes in speaking his mind and often finds himself in controversies. One such incident occurred back in 2012, days before the release of his maiden production venture One By Two. 
    Attending the Screen Awards in 2012, Abhay walked the red carpet with a black eye catching everyone’s attention.  
    When asked by the media if he’s alright and what actually happened to him. Abhay responded saying he isn’t doing fine and added, “Main music company se maar kha ke aa raha hoon (I have been beaten up by a music company).”

    He further said, “My film is releasing January 31. My music has not yet released because the music company wants me to get the composers Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy to sign a clause which is illegal.”  

    He then revealed the music company is T-Series.

    Later, Abhay had taken to his Facebook account and shared a few images of himself with the black eye. He also posted an open letter explaining the whole mess. 
    A part of it read, “Well the entire music fraternity is up in arms against the record labels because they expect musicians to sign a contract with a clause that is against the law. Producers like myself are expected to make sure that they sign. Which means if anyone is arrested for breaking the law it will be the producer!
    I am also against the exploitation of artists. I believe in their rights and even if a musician was ready to sign it, I would advise him/her against it. As a result, I have no album in the market. In fact, now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the music company pulls out my promos from the TV channels. I don’t have radio play anyway.”

    T-Series later issued a lengthy statement in response to Abhay’s accusation.  
    A part of their statement read, “We are disappointed that baseless allegations are being made against us in an arbitrary manner completely disregarding our legitimate and lawful concerns as a music label. We are well within our rights to call upon producers to provide us with appropriate agreements with composers, lyricists and singers as we cannot acquire any rights from a person who has none to begin with. In the absence thereof, we cannot be expected to release music when there is no clarity with respect to the rights granted to the producer.”

    As for the film One By Two, it was released on its scheduled date amidst the controversy and failed at the box office.

    Salman khan’s rift with people in Bollywood is not alien to anyone in the country. While on one side, he’s known as the ‘bhai’ of so many people he’s friends with; he’s also known to have a few fights back in the day with his colleagues.

    Back in the day it was rumoured that Salman and director Subhash Ghai got into a rift where the actor allegedly slapped the director. According to a report in Zoom, during an interview back in 2002, Salman Khan confessed that he raised a hand on Subhash Ghai.

    "I have hurt myself all over. I cannot hurt anyone else. I have only hit Subhash Ghai. Yet, I apologized to him the next day," he said. He further elaborated on why this happened. “That person hit me with a spoon, almost broke a plate on my face, pissed on my shoes and grabbed me by the neck. I could not control myself. And see what happened. The next day, I had to go and apologize.” According to reports, his father Salim Khan asked him to go and apologize to Subhash Ghai.

    Later, Ghai also called this fight with Salman as ‘embarrassing and depressing’. "Salman came and stood in front of me like a guilty child. I smiled and asked him, ‘What happened to you last night ?’ and he said, ‘I have come here because my father told me to do so.’ I said, ‘So you are not sorry?’ and he replied, ‘Of course I am.’ That’s how we broke the ice," Ghai said. Well, the duo went on to become friends again and they worked together in Yuvraaj as well.
