    There are sides to being famous and popular that most of us, sitting on the other side of the fence don’t understand. 
    Of course, the glamour, the money and the power are all great, but what isn’t is always being scrutinized in the public eye and having to let go of the idea of privacy. 
    A fact that actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli came to terms with years ago, but have actively tried not to be passed on to their daughter - Vamika Kohli. 
    The couple that welcomed their baby girl on the 11th of January this year, hasn’t yet revealed the face of their daughter and ever since, requested the paps as well as their fans to respect their need for privacy. 
    The only pictures that had gone up from their personal accounts till now also didn’t reveal Vamika’s face and they liked to keep it like that.

    However, recently as the couple was travelling to South Africa, Vamika was spotted by the cameras in actress Anushka Sharma’s hands at the Mumbai airport. 
    Within moments, pictures of Vamika began to circulate on the internet, however, fans’ reaction to the leaked pictures this time around was different than anticipated.
    Instead of making those pictures go viral, fans started urging people to boycott or report accounts that revealed Vamika’s pictures and also requested paps and fellow internet users to respect the parents’ need to keep her pictures private.

    Meanwhile, as a lot of publications and paps decided to not circulate pictures of their baby daughter and some even took posts down, Anushka Sharma took to her social media to thank them for their cooperation.

    She wrote, “We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward. We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter. A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”

    After Virat Kohli publicly contradicted the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s statement over the captaincy matter, it sparked a huge controversy in Indian cricket. 
    It was an unprecedented event. It’s hard to recall the last time when an Indian skipper refuted the claims of the man in charge of the BCCI, the world’s most powerful cricket board. Since then people have started speculating on the differences between the two legends of the game.

    The pressure on him was mounting and by stepping down from the T20I captaincy ahead of the T20 World Cup, he thought he would ease some of his workload and focus on his batting. He even hoped that by doing so he would get to lead the side in the remaining two formats.

    With the 2023 ODI World Cup set to be played in India, Kohli was hoping to lead the side in the muti-nation event but by sacking him from the ODI role, the BCCI office bearers, in a way, made their intentions clear that they are the ones who get to decide what’s right for Indian cricket not him.
    By handing over the white-ball captaincy to Rohit Sharma, the BCCI top brass has shifted the power dynamics inside the dressing room and the Delhi-born cricketer doesn’t enjoy the same authority anymore.

    According to a report published in Times Now News, the sources have confirmed that the BCCI definitely has some issues with the Test leader. The board is not happy with Kohli because of the “complete breakdown of communication” between him and the selectors or even his team members.

    “It isn't known whether Kohli has a problem with the BCCI or not but the board does have some issues with the Test captain. Sources have told Times Now that there's a complete breakdown of communication and that Kohli has no communication with the team. He is incommunicado after matches and doesn't have any co-ordination/interaction with the selection committee,” read the report.

    The same report also stated that the discussions about split captaincy had been going on for the last four months, even before Kohli had stepped down from the T20I role.

    “The BCCI had been planning to take a call on the captaincy and the prospect of having two captains was being discussed for 4 months. The BCCI wanted one captain for ODIs and T20Is,” it stated.

    Amidst this whole controversy, some even believe that things are going to be even more difficult for Kohli going forward. The upcoming Test series against South Africa is going to be crucial in that regard, with Kohli’s future hanging by a thread.
    Veteran sports journalist Vijay Lokapally feels that the only way Kohli can survive is by scoring huge amounts of runs in the upcoming series, if not his future looks bleak. He even said that “knives are out” against the red-ball captain as people are waiting for the ideal opportunity to “put him in his place”.

    If they wanted to sack him, rather than giving sugar-coated statements in the media they should have straightaway informed him about their intentions.

    From their courtship, eventual marriage to their controversial divorce, the equation between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been the talk of the town. 
    A few months back, the rumours of their divorce started doing the rounds after Samantha removed Akkineni from her Instagram account and changed the name to only “S”.

    Ever since their divorce, there have been endless rumours about the reason behind it. 

    There have been several reports that have claimed that some of Samantha’s career choices including doing bold scenes in The Family Man 2 and an item song in Pushpa are the reasons behind their split. 
    Now, in a recent media interaction, Naga Chaitanya may also have hinted at something similar. 
    He was asked about opting for different kinds of roles. He said, “I am game for all kinds of roles. However, those roles should not affect my family and our reputation. I will not accept roles that would embarrass my family members.”

    This statement of Naga Chaitanya has left many wondering if this was a sly dig at Samantha Ruth Prabhu. 

    While a few in support of Naga Chaitanya tweeted, “#nagachaitanya was mature that’s why he decided to divorce Naga Chaitanya did not ask her to quit acting but Samantha was too much glamorous after their marriage that’s the reason”. 
    Another tweet read, “Naga Chaitanya should consider himself extremely and most fortunate for getting separated instead of worrying for life”.

    There were others who extended their support for Samantha Ruth Prabhu. 

    One such response read, “If my memory serves me right, he had a lip lock scene with his co-star in Majili. This probably wouldnt be the reason behind their estrangement. If it is, he is a hypocrite and she took the right decision”. Another tweet stated, “How childish”.

    While Naga Chaitanya hasn’t opened up about his divorce with Samantha, the actress, on the other hand, had recently stated in a Filmfare interview, “I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being this strong…Today I’m very very proud of how strong I’m because I really didn’t know I was.”

    Ever since the cozy pictures of actress Jacqueline Fernandez with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on the internet, the money laundering case has become the talk of the town, creating a big controversy. The conman, who got arrested for reportedly extorting Rs 200 crore, is currently in judicial custody and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is probing the case. Apart from Jacqueline, Nora Fatehi too was interrogated by the ED.
    Now, in his statement, the conman has claimed to have connections with a few other popular celebrities as well. Reportedly, Sukesh has now named Shraddha Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Harman Baweja.
    Revealing the names to ANI, the ED has shared about Sukesh claiming to help Shraddha Kapoor during the NCB interrogation and knowing her since 2015. He also took Shilpa Shetty Kundra's name stating that he contacted the actress for Raj Kundra's conditional release when he was in jail due to the porn films case. 
    Reportedly, he added being good friends with Harman Baweja and was set to produce Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film Captain India with him.
    Reacting to his latest statement, ED sources told India Today that the claims made by him are "bogus" and he had no connection with these celebrities. 
    The conman Sukesh is linked to various other money laundering cases as well. Jacqueline and he became acquainted in January this year and then friendship blossomed between the two. During the investigation, he had claimed to have given many expensive gifts to Jacqueline and Nora. As revealed earlier, he reportedly gifted Persian cats, with one of them priced around Rs 9 lakh, expensive crockery, a horse costing around Rs 50 lakh, and much more to Jacqueline, while he gave her a luxury car to Nora.
    For the unversed, Chadrashekhar is in custody for extorting over Rs 200 crore by impersonating government officials from a businessman’s wife. Currently, the investigation is going on.

    Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan is one actor who has continued to divide fans ever since making his debut in Refugee in 2000.  

    Despite being the son of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek has seen a lot of struggle in terms of failed movies, not getting work, and being forced to fill in the shoes of his father.
    Abhishek, who recently starred in the latest crime-thriller film Bob Biswas, spoke on his 21 years of struggle in Bollywood.

    Revealing some of his challenges, he mentioned how he was almost mistreated at award functions he was invited to.

    Abhishek opened up on how he would be told to get up from his seat and sit at the back when a bigger star would turn up at the event.
    Shocked, right?
    Here's what he said.
    “I’ve been in a situation where I’ve gone to a public function and you’re made to sit in the front row and you feel, ‘Wow! I didn’t think they’d put me in the front row. Okay, great!’ But then a bigger star shows up and they are like, ‘Okay, get up, move to the back’, and you go to the back." said Abhishek, while speaking to Rolling Stone.

    I mean, imagine that being done to the son of Amitabh Bachchan. It truly does feel so strange to hear that. However, according to Junior B, it's just what Bollywood is all about and it can't be taken seriously.

    "It’s all part of showbiz. You can’t take it personally,” he says.
    Abhishek also opened up on how he was just replaced in films without even being told.
    ‘I literally showed up at the shooting and somebody else is shooting there’. said Abhishek.
    However, as per Rolling Stone, he would just exercise the option of just quickly turning around and walking away.
    Abhishek also admitted that thanks to his father, Amitabh, he has had access to the industry people, however, that doesn't mean people worked with him.

    He has revealed how people would choose not to work with him.

    “A lot of people would think that being Mr Bachchan’s son, people are going to be lined up around the block. No, they weren’t. I spoke to almost each and every director before starting, and they did not decide to work with me, and that’s fine,” he said.
    Damn! Thankfully, things might have just gotten better for Junior B and he might still have a lot of time to turn things around if he keeps working in films like Bob Biswas and others, where people are really giving him the appreciation he deserves.
