Ever since the cozy pictures of actress Jacqueline Fernandez with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on the internet, the money laundering case has become the talk of the town, creating a big controversy. The conman, who got arrested for reportedly extorting Rs 200 crore, is currently in judicial custody and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is probing the case. Apart from Jacqueline, Nora Fatehi too was interrogated by the ED.

Now, in his statement, the conman has claimed to have connections with a few other popular celebrities as well. Reportedly, Sukesh has now named Shraddha Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Harman Baweja.

Revealing the names to ANI, the ED has shared about Sukesh claiming to help Shraddha Kapoor during the NCB interrogation and knowing her since 2015. He also took Shilpa Shetty Kundra's name stating that he contacted the actress for Raj Kundra's conditional release when he was in jail due to the porn films case. 

Reportedly, he added being good friends with Harman Baweja and was set to produce Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film Captain India with him.

Reacting to his latest statement, ED sources told India Today that the claims made by him are "bogus" and he had no connection with these celebrities. 

The conman Sukesh is linked to various other money laundering cases as well. Jacqueline and he became acquainted in January this year and then friendship blossomed between the two. During the investigation, he had claimed to have given many expensive gifts to Jacqueline and Nora. As revealed earlier, he reportedly gifted Persian cats, with one of them priced around Rs 9 lakh, expensive crockery, a horse costing around Rs 50 lakh, and much more to Jacqueline, while he gave her a luxury car to Nora.

For the unversed, Chadrashekhar is in custody for extorting over Rs 200 crore by impersonating government officials from a businessman’s wife. Currently, the investigation is going on.
