    Released in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, not only turned out to be the highest-grossing film of Salman Khan’s career at that time, but it also is considered by many his best in the recent decade or so. 
    Over the years, there have been rumours about its sequel in the works. In fact, a few months back, writer K V Vijayendra Prasad had stated that he is “trying to crack Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2”.

    A few days back, Salman Khan was present at the RRR pre-release event as a special guest. Bhai literally stole everyone’s thunder by announcing his own film at another film’s promotional event. 

    While talking about his association with SS Rajamouli and his father KV Vijayendra Prasad, Salman said, “I have a strong relationship with Rajamouli and his father, as he wrote Bajrangi Bhaijaan and soon we will be working together again for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.” 
    Karan Johar, who was hosting the event, reconfirmed if Salman is announcing the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster, he replied, “Yes, but now the focus should be on RRR.”

    Now, in a recent interview, filmmaker Kabir Khan was asked about an update on the film. He sort of quashed the announcement made by Salman Khan by saying there is no script or idea ready for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. 

    He told India Today, “That announcement is something that Salman did. Neither the script is written, nor has the idea been formed really. There is literally nothing right now we can talk about.”
    Besides Salman Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshali Malhotra, Om Puri, Sharat Saxena and Rajesh Sharma.

    The movie marked Salman and Kabir’s second collaboration after Ek Tha Tiger. The director-actor duo reunited for the third time for Tubelight. But, unlike their previous collaborations, Tubelight was neither critically acclaimed nor worked at the box office. 

    Kabir Khan is now gearing up for the release of his ambitious 83, based on the Indian Cricket Team’s 1983 World Cup win. The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the role of Kapil Dev and is slated to release on December 24.

    Just days after the release of the trailer of the Fantastic Beasts: Secrets Of Dumbledore, Warner Bros along with HBO Max have gone on to release the new trailer of the Harry Potter Reunion episode.
    And boy! It's pure magic!
    It's been a long time since we bid farewell to the OG Harry Potter movies.

    I mean, sure! We've had the Harry Potter spin-off, The Fantastic Beasts movie series starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, but let's be honest. It has not and cannot live up to the name of the original movies.

    However, with Marvel really bringing on the superhero fever with Spider-Man: No Way Home, it looks like Warner Bros are looking to cash in on Pottermania again, with the new Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts trailer.
    And, let me just tell you, the trailer is amazing! 
    Bringing back almost the entire star cast of the eight Harry Potter movies, along with some of its previous directors like Chris Columbus and Alfonso Cuarón, the HBO special episode seems like something that fans are now really excited about.

    The trailer begins with Emma Watson AKA Hermione Granger taking a trip down memory lane, as she walks on Platform 9 3/4 Quarters.

    This is before she arrives at what looks like a Christmas spirited Great Hall inside the Hogwarts castle before bumping into Slytherin's house's bully boy Draco Malfoy's actor Tom Felton.

    Following this, there are just moments of all past actors embracing each other, greeting one another, in what looks like a proper treat for fans all over the world.
    Finally, the trailer goes to what would be the most special thing for Potterheads.
    It goes to the part where the Harry Potter star trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint can be sitting in front of each other inside what appears to be the Gryffindor Common Room, a place which has remained the one happy place of every Harry Potter fan's memory.

    I mean, this is where Harry, Ron, and Hermione they shared some of the most important humane moments during the seven books and the movies.

    Moreover, the episode trailer goes on to show that the power that the OG Harry Potter series holds over the Fantastic Beasts movies is just incomparable.
    Well, luckily for fans, they will get to witness both worlds, with the Harry Potter reunion episode airing on January 01, 2020.

    The Indian players have been training hard under the watchful eyes of head coach Rahul Dravid and other support staff members in Centurion for the last few days as they gear up for the Boxing Day Test against South Africa.
    This is Dravid’s first overseas Test tour with the senior Indian team and he knows how important of a series this is as this is the only major cricket-playing nation where they have never won a red-ball series.

    After Dravid replaced Ravi Shastri as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, some people were skeptical of the relationship between him and the India Test skipper but it seems like both of them have bonded pretty well and are working  towards the common goal of taking Indian cricket forward.
    Dravid knows if India want to script history in South Africa, they need Kohli leading from the front but his batting form has been a cause of concern in the last couple of years, with him not hitting a single Test century.

    Hence, the former India skipper has been spending a lot of time with the 33-year-old cricketer during the training sessions, fine-tuning his skills and preparing him for the upcoming challenge.
    The BCCI’s official Twitter handle has been sharing pictures and videos from Team India’s practice session on a daily basis but the  that got the most fans talking was the one where Kohli is seen discussing his batting with the legendary batter.

    In the picture, the Indian skipper can be seen showing the head coach his batting stance and fans believe the 49-year-old has already started having an impact on Kohli’s game. As per the supporters, there was a considerable change in the way the Indian skipper was standing at the crease, holding the bat higher than he normally would.

    Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced that the upcoming Test series and the following one-day series would be played behind closed doors to ensure the safety of the players amid rising cases due to the new COVID-19 variant – Omicron.

    Back then, there were several rumours about possible reasons for Hrithik and Sussanne’s split that started to do the rounds. A few blamed Hrithik for his alleged involvement with Kangana Ranaut and some questioned Sussanne as there were reports that Arjun Rampal is the reason behind her drifting apart from her husband.  
    In an interview with CNN IBN back in 2017, Hrithik had addressed infidelity rumours and shared, “Sussanne has been very very vocal about this. She has been very vocal. And I feel like laughing at people. When people get divorced, it is not always because of infidelity by the man. That is just such a small-minded assumption.” He further added, “So the general assumption was, 'Ah he is the superstar, he must have done something wrong. She must have caught him.' That is not the case.”

    Hrithik and Sussanne are parents to two sons- Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Although it has been 7 years now that they are not together anymore, but they are the best when it comes to their parental duties and have been cordial with each other.

    Shahid Kapoor, who is basking in the blockbuster success of Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Kabir Singh, is looking forward to the release of Jersey. Featuring Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady, the much-awaited film is the official Hindi remake of Nani's Telugu hit Jersey. As the film's release date is now only a few days away, Shahid finally kick-started the promotions with Mrunal on Monday.

    The Padmaavat actor opted for a quirky look and wore a printed navy blue shirt with a floral print suit designed by Rajesh Pratap Singh and Mrunal kept it casual and looked beautiful in black denim and a matching jacket. While we liked their fashion sense, Shahid's outfit has received mixed reactions from social media users.

    Manav Manglani, the popular paparazzi, posted a video on Instagram in which Shahid and Mrunal are posing together for paps while promoting Jersey in Mumbai. A section of fans praised the actor for his style and dropped fire and heart emojis in the comments. A comment reads, "Love you Shahid sir". 
    However, others criticised the actor's fashion choice and one of them even compared him to Ranveer Singh. The Instagram user wrote, "Please don’t start dressing like Ranveer. You are so handsome". While another wrote, "Dono nai ek dusre ke kapde pahen liye". A third user wrote, "fashion ke name pe kuch bhi".

    On the professional front, Shahid's Jersey has created a good hype among fans. The trailer and songs have been receiving a positive response and everyone is now waiting for the film's release. Jersey is all set to hit the big screens on December 31. He was busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's untitled crime thriller in Abu Dhabi, however, has now taken a break for the promotions of Jersey. 
    After completing this project, the actor is expected to start Aditya Nimbalkar's Bull, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta. The action extravaganza, set in the 1980s, is said to be inspired by the life of Brigadier Farukh. It is confirmed to release in theatres on April 7, 2022, on the Good Friday weekend.
    Also, he is set to make his digital debut with Rak & DK’s upcoming web series for Amazon Prime Video. Shahid has already finished shooting for the series which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Rashi Khanna, and Kay Kay Menon in pivotal roles.

    Pakistani actor Fawad Khan rose to prominence with his roles in shows like Zindagi Gulzar Hai and films like Khuda Kay Liye. 
    His TV show, in particular, made him popular across the border as well and in 2014, he made his Bollywood debut with Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. 
    Post Khoobsurat’s success, Fawad Khan became the talk of the town and was cast alongside Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor in the 2016 hit Kapoor & Sons. 
    The movie and Fawad’s performance received immense critical acclaim. Later, in the year, he was also seen in a cameo in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

    However, the very same year, he along with other Pakistani artists in India, was banned from working in Bollywood. An unofficial ban, actually. 

    Now, the actor is headed to Hollywood and has joined the biggest international franchise Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There were rumours that he has been roped in to play a part in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series, Ms Marvel. 
    In a recent interview with Film Companion, Fawad was asked if he has actually joined MCU, to which he replied in affirmative. He said, “Yeah, I am. Woh toh main deny nahi kar sakta, ab toh main jhooth nahi bol sakta, woh toh unhone khud news laga di hai (I can’t deny that or lie about it because they have put out the news themselves).”

    While he didn’t reveal anything about the character he is playing in the show, he did share his experience of working on it. He stated, “It’s a wonderful experience, it was good fun. The cast that I worked with, the people that I worked with, it was good fun, but I am sorry, I cannot say anything more than that at this point in time.” 

    Fawad Khan isn’t the only South Asian actor in Ms Marvel. Bollywood actor Mohan Kapur will be seen playing lead character Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel’s father.

    It has also been rumoured that Farhan Akhtar too is a part of the show. However, he had played coy and gave a cryptic response when asked about his involvement in the show. He had told Eastern Eye, “Well, I have read that too, that’s all I can say.”  

    Ms Marvel stars Iman Vellani in the lead role. The show is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar in India in the summer of 2022.
