    Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home, was without a doubt a cinematic spectacle, something that probably was never witnessed before, and might not ever be seen again.

    The movie is literally breaking all records left, right, and centre, and for the really fortunate few fans who have seen the movie, we know exactly why that's happening.

    The movie brought back some much-loved characters from the past and mixed them up with the superhero characters of the present.

    And guess what? It worked wonderfully!
    The whole Spider-Man: No Way Home movie was a nostalgic trip, and looks like Marvel may not be giving up on that formula any time soon.
    As per reports, Marvel bosses have been working on the idea of bringing back one of the most influential superheroes that fans across all ages have loved to date.
    It's none other than Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

    While we will be honest and accept that the X-Men franchise, despite being revived from time and time again, has failed to deliver, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine has been the character that has held the whole series on his shoulders.

    I mean, his spin-off movies might be more popular than some of the actual X-Men movies. Too harsh? Well, it might just be the truth.
    Well, now, the thing is that in the next MCU Phase might just start introducing X-Men in the movies, and who better to kickstart that than the broody Wolverine.
    Yep! According to reports, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has approached Jackman to make his comeback to the movies. 
    Rumours have been circulating over the last year that Jackman has been approached about a comeback.
    And according to sources of Giant Freakin Robot, the movie might just be Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be the fifth Avengers movie in the franchise.
    It has also been reported that the first glimpse that we may see of Jackman's Wolverine could be in Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness, which will be released in 2022.

    It is reported that Wolverine might actually show up in the post-end credits scene of the film.

    After three successful films in Kedarnath, Simmba and Coolie No. 1, and a dud in Love Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan is back with her fifth film titled Atrangi Re. 
    Directed by Aanand L Rai, Atrangi Re stars Dhanush in the lead and also features Akshay Kumar in a special role. 
    The movie is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on December 24 and Sara is currently busy promoting it on various shows.  
    To promote the film, the OTT platform has also arranged for a special episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. The special episode will see Dhanush and Sara gracing the couch.

    While the show will be out on December 21, a promo of it was released a day before, where Sara’s response to a question about her Swayamvar has caught our attention. 

    During the infamous rapid fire round, when Karan asked Sara, “Four people that you would want in your Swayamvar…” Sara replied, “Ranveer Singh, Vijay Deverakonda, Vicky Kaushal and Varun Dhawan”. 
    Since three out of the four names that Sara mentioned are married, Karan stated that their wives will be watching this, “All these wives are watching, I am just telling you.” To which, Sara had a prompt response, “And hopefully the husbands are also (watching)” leaving Karan and Dhanush giggling.

Despite playing a limited number of games, the spin maestro has been in phenomenal form this year.

    When a player does this, the least he expects is that his teammates and other members of the leadership group acknowledge his efforts. But when it doesn’t happen, it hurts the most. No matter how strong-willed you are, there is no worse feeling in this world than your efforts being undervalued by individuals who you hold in high regard.
    Ashwin also went through this excruciating feeling after the 2019 Sydney Test against Australia when former head coach Ravi Shastri ignored his hard work and described fellow spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who had picked up a five-wicket haul, as India’s number one spinner in overseas conditions.

    Despite suffering a grade 3 abdomen tear, the Chennai-born cricketer delivered more than 50 overs in the second innings and that’s why when Shastri ignored his efforts and heaped praise on the left-arm wrist spinner, he felt cheated. 
    The 35-year-old spinner said that while he holds Shastri in high esteem, his comments on the day “crushed” him and made him feel as if he was “being thrown under the bus” as nobody appreciated his work ethic under difficult circumstances.

    The entire month has been all about the ‘alleged’ love affair and special friendship of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and a certain conman named Sukesh Chandrashekhar who is in custody after being jailed for being involved in an extortion case and money laundering.  Jacqueline’s name got linked with him after her selfies kissing him got viral on social media and got people talking.

    Later, the actress was summoned by the ED for enquiring about her alleged relation with him and the charge sheet filed by the officials claim that she received an insane amount of luxury gifts from him which include a Maserati, a cat worth Rs 50 lakh and jewellery worth over Rs 7 crore.

    Reports also suggest that the two were together for a brief amount of time. One might assume that this ongoing drama is everything ‘filmy’ and if a report is to be believed, some producers are already banking on making it into a reel story.

    According to India Today, some OTT producers are keen to take this subject and make a movie or a series on it.

    “This case is perfect fodder for a series or documentary on the subject. Hence, there is already a beeline of producers discussing how to turn this into either a movie or a web show. A few names are also being discussed on who might play Sukesh and Jacqueline in the project. It is the biggest con operation we have seen in recent times,” the report claims.
    Well, looks like this love story is more filmy than we fathomed.

    The year 2021 was rife with controversies. Especially, in the Bollywood film industry where one after the other, something kept coming up and making the headlines. 
    And one such controversy of 2021 was when businessman Raj Kundra, also husband to actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested in a pornography case.
    An FIR was registered against Raj Kundra after he was accused of distributing porn films through an app, and was arrested for the same. However, later in September, he was let out on bail.

    Turns out, it was due to an alleged connection of Raj Kundra to a UK production house whose executive was Umesk Kamat, that landed him in trouble on suspicion of being involved in broadcasting porn films through apps during the lockdown.

    The news that spread like wildfire only got worse with every passing day and even before the court could come to a verdict, the media and public had put Raj Kundra on a trial, accusing him with every conspiracy theory they deemed fit.
    Yes, it was natural to wonder whether or not the billionaire was involved in such criminal activity, however, what wasn’t, was to yet again publicly disintegrate and defame a person without knowing enough about it or even allowing the court to have a fair trial.

    Today, months after Raj Kundra and his family’s struggle with dealing with this charge, actress Shilpa Shetty took to her social media account to put up a strong front as she shared a quote by Winston Churchill that said, “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”
    With this, she also attached the link to her husband’s statement about this case, calling it a ‘witch hunt’. Prior to this, the actress has kept her cool during this very turbulent time and has finally, taken a solid stand with her partner.

I would like to start by stating that I have NEVER been involved in the production and distribution of "pornography" EVER in my life."

    He went on to say, “This whole episode has been nothing but a witch hunt. The matter is subjudice so I can not elucidate, but I am ready to face trial and have full faith in the judiciary, where the truth will prevail."

    There are two types of people - Jeff Ross fans and those who haven’t been introduced to his hysterical jokes yet! 
    Popular for his insult comedy and celebrity roasts, Jeff Ross is popularly known as the “Roastmaster General”. Right from Charlie Sheen to Donald Trump and Chrissy Teigen, this American stand-up comedian spares no one. 
    As someone who loves stand-up comedy and slapstick humour - I enjoy watching Jeff Ross videos once in a while. Recently, he made an appearance on Talib Kweli’s podcast “People’s Party” on Luminary.  What a hilarious, raw and uncensored episode it was!

    It gave us a sneak peek into his legendary career, his early years, the intersection of comedy and hip-hop and the lessons he learnt along the way. 

    He Only Roasts The People He LikesWhile roasting people is his claim to fame (in addition to film-making and starring in over 15 films) - the aim of his comedy is not to tear people apart, but to bring them together. “I never, almost never talk about the people I don't like. For me, roasting is a sign of affection”, he says. 
    He believes that when he roasts someone he doesn’t like, either they’re a bad sport, or he’s not at his comic best. In fact, he has written a book about his idea of roasting as well, it’s titled “I Only Roast the Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges”. 
    Comedy As A Coping MechanismEver since his growing years, Jeff Ross has relied on comedy as his go-to coping mechanism. He was just in sophomore year when his father passed away. He was 19, his sister was 17. Their mother had passed away 5 years earlier due to leukemia. He talked about how comedy helped him and his sister deal with the disparaging reality and come out stronger.

    He also talked about stand-up comedy as a means to deal with the pandemic woes. Stepping out of the house, bringing joy to the people who were feeling low, meeting other comedians - he felt like he is free again, like his brain has a purpose. 
    It’s All About ConsentOne of the biggest lessons Jeff Ross has learnt over the years is “comedy with consent” - more so when it’s insult humour. 
    He recalls an incident, where billionaire Richard Branson’s friends were throwing a surprise party for him and wanted Jeff to prepare a set for him. It was a paid gig! When Jeff asked if Richard Branson was aware, his friends revolted, “don’t worry, he’s a prankster”. 
    What followed was 3 weeks of research, reading Richard Branson’s autobiography, interviewing his friends and what not. Naturally, the set was outstanding. The crowd was in splits. However, Richard didn’t seem to enjoy it much. 
    At the end of the gig, Richard walked up to him, as though to give him a hug, but poured his drink on Jeff's head instead. 
    Moral of the story - crack jokes on people who volunteer, who are willing to take a joke! 
    Comedy & PoliticsYou know how they say - fake news will turn into fake history but comedy will always tell the truth. Jeff Ross strongly believes in this and uses his comedy as a means to state the truth, address issues and call a spade a spade. Well, what can we say, insult comedy is powerful!

    Each year the 14th of November is remembered as ‘World Diabetes Day’ in order to create better awareness about diabetes. According to the WHO (World Health Organization), almost 8.5% of people above the age of 18 have diabetes, as of 2014.
    If you’ve spoken to near and dear ones around you, then you may have noticed that people affected by diabetes exist in almost everyone’s life, yours too. The disease is chronic in nature, and it occurs due to the pancreas inability to produce insulin properly. It can also be caused due to the body being unable to properly use the insulin produced. 
    But what is insulin? And what does it do inside our bodies? Well, it is a hormone secreted by the pancreas, that regulates the amount of glucose entering our bloodstream from all the foods that we eat. Glucose being your body’s primary source of energy, any disruption in its distribution can wreak havoc across various vital processes.
    In the long run, high blood sugar (or glucose) levels, also known as hyperglycemia, can affect your blood vessels, in turn damaging vital organs, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney issues, vision defects, and nerve problems.
    People usually look at an individual’s chronic ailment as something to feel sorry for them for. By being honest about their issues, these celebrities have been doing their bit to raise more awareness and remove the taboo that exists around a diabetes diagnosis.:

    As a man, how often have you been embarrassed about your nipples getting hard? While they are not perhaps as delicate to deal with as a random boner popping up without any rhyme or reason (we all have experienced that, haven't we?), sometimes they can be tricky to deal with.

    Mohammad Shami just had to deal with this, albeit virtually, when a perfectly normal picture that he posted on Twitter got 'memed', and ended up comparing him to the character of Rachel in Friends. Side note here: Friends fans would know that Jennifer Aniston, who played the character of Rachel Green in the superhit TV show, could often be 'pointed' out when it comes to that. IYKYK.

    A lot of people were also of the POV that hard or erect nipples, in case of both men and women, should never be the cause for embarrassment, which we completely stand behind. While women have got the worse end of the deal because of 'societal norms', it's time we move past the stigma of nipples being visible because of being erect/hard.

    Clinically speaking, there may be multiple reasons behind nipples getting hard, and doctors say the body responding that way is, in fact, the sign of a healthy nervous system.

    While the two most common and absolutely normal reasons why nipples may get hard/erect, both in case of men and women are cold weather and sexual stimulation, there may be other reasons which are not as common, but completely 'normal' nonetheless. So people, irrespective of what gender you identify with, it's perfectly normal for your nipples to sometimes get hard, erect, or extra visible; and there is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed about it. In fact, you should probably be worried if they are never getting hard!

    Popular actor Johnny Depp, whom we’ve seen essay the famous role of Jack from Pirates Of The Caribbean, started dating his former wife Amber Heard early in 2012, after the two had met and been acquainted with each other on the sets of The Rum Diary in 2009.
    The relationship with Heard was struck right after Johnny Depp and long-time partner Vanessa Paradis publicly announced their separation after 14 years of dating and having two children Lily-Rose (1999) and John Christopher (2002).

    By 2014 they were engaged and in 2015 the two got married in a private ceremony. 

    Just a year later, trouble started to stir in paradise after Amber Heard filed for a divorce from the actor and even obtained a temporary restraining order against him claiming that he had physically abused her during their relationship.
    Several claims from both ends were made at each other and it was in 2016 that the two, eventually, reached a $7 Million settlement which Heard allegedly donated to charity. 
    However, in 2018 the actress went on to again claim how she was abused by Depp and that led to yet another face-off between the two in court. And while the legal proceedings of their case still go on, fans are still wondering who among the two is telling the truth.

    And in between all of this commotion, Johnny Depp’s former bandmate Bill 'Beano' Hanti, has come forward to share his insights on the case and Johnny’s marriage with Amber.  

    Turns out, he knew Johnny since he was all of 17-years-old and had joined the band as a guitarist right before he put his music career on hold to pursue acting.
    Describing Amber as someone who drove Depp crazy and Vanessa as ‘a beautiful soul’, he said, “He had something special with Vanessa and he f****d it up."

    As for Amber and her first film with Johnny was concerned, Bill shared, “She just saw him coming. She got the opportunity to be a part of that film and she worked it. Ruined his life, it really did. Look at it, it totally f****d his career over. Cost him his friends. Part of his family.”

    Now how much of that is true or false is still up for debate, but if there is one thing we know for sure, it is that the man in the case can’t be assumed to be guilty just because the ex-wife has been claiming so.

    Veteran actor and a Samajwadi Party (SP) MP, Jaya Bachchan, is known for losing her cool while sharing her opinions out in public and this time was no different either. She had an outburst in the Rajya Sabha session and lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party, saying that "their bad days would begin soon". This comes hours after her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appeared before the Enforcement Directorate. 
    Jaya got angry after a member hurled a personal remark at her during a discussion on the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Bill. She went on to say, “Aapke buren di aayenge (your bad days will come). I curse you.” She added, “We want justice. We don't expect justice from there (treasury benches), but can we expect it from you? How are you protecting the members of this house or the 12 members sitting outside? How are you protecting them?" She also called out the chair presided by Bhubaneswar Kalita for not hearing what the opposition had to say.

    A verbal spat started after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmaker Rakesh Sinha objected to Bachchan’s remarks against the Chair. The situation almost seemed out of control and the video of her losing cool in the session has been going viral.

    When asked about the Enforcement Directorate's grilling of her daughter Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the Panama Papers case, she said she did not want to talk about herself and her family. She said, "What happens to a sinking ship? Who are the first ones to run? This is exactly what is happening here. They (BJP) are scared of UP polls."

    When asked about her comment on the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, she said, "Lakhimpur Kheri is a very good case of conveying to people that they (BJP) don't believe in justice and fairness."

    18 years after the third and supposedly final film in the franchise, The Matrix is back with its fourth part titled The Matrix Resurrections.  

    Besides marking the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity, respectively, the much-loved franchise also features Priyanka Chopra in a pivotal role of Sati, the same kid whom we saw in The Matrix Revolutions.

    Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra isn’t the only Bollywood actor to feature in The Matrix Resurrections. The movie also stars Purab Kohli, who is popular for starring in films like Rock On!! and was recently seen in Abhishek Bachchan starrer Bob Biswas. 

    Ahead of the film’s release on December 22, the first look of Purab Kohli’s character has been released. Take a look at it below:

    Sharing the details about his role in the film, Purab told Mid-day that he is playing an “overzealous game developer” who works with Thomas Anderson aka Neo played by Keanu Reeves. 

    Talking about his love for The Matrix franchise and landing a role in it, Purab said, “It has not sunk in yet. When I watched The Matrix [1999] in theatres, I was like, ‘What was that film!’ I was just starting off as a TV actor then. So, being part [of the franchise] was something I had never imagined in my wildest dreams.”

    He further talked about how this will be his second collaboration with director Lana Wachowski, with whom he earlier worked in the TV series Sense8. 

    Talking about it, he said, “During the shoot [of Sense8], there were many conversations about what could happen [in The Matrix universe]. The next thing I know she wants to place me somewhere in the franchise. I loved working with Lana.” 
    On being asked if he shares any screen space with Priyanka Chopra in the film, Kohli responds in negative and added, “They shot with her in America; my shoot happened in Europe.”

    The Matrix Resurrections also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Jada Pinket Smith and Lambert Wilson. 

    Apart from releasing in theatres worldwide, the movie will also premiere on the OTT platform HBO Max in the US on December 22.
