Let me start by saying that he was (in his own words) ‘legen-wait-for-it...dary’. And while most of the die-hard fans for this famous sitcom How I Met Your Mother would agree in unison that Neil Patrick Harris’ character Barney Stinson was the best part of the show, there are also quite a few who called his character out on his misogynistic, sexist and problematic philosophies.

    via GIPHY
And if I am being completely honest, I may be one of the latter.

Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Except for the ending, which was unanimously termed as one of the worst there could ever be.
But upon a deeper look into the characters, Barney Stinson was kind of an ass. Especially in this day and age when we’ve all been made aware of so many things and concepts that are not okay. Like treating women as conquests or objects of desire.

Years after the show was aired and ended, Neil Patrick Harris has come forward to give us an insight into his character as Barney Stinson, and to our surprise, it is the kind of closure we didn’t realise we needed.

After being called ‘offensive’ by several people, Neil Patrick Harris opened up about the title given to him in an interview with The Guardian.
    © Bays And Thomas Productions
He said, “Well, my take on How I Met Your Mother is that it was not all real.” He continued to say, “The structure of the show is future Ted [Mosby, the central character] telling his children the story. In doing so, he's fictionalising the narrative and he's talking about his friend who was the wingman, the buddy, the guy that was always wanting to party and have fun and make any experience an event.”
"So, I think of Barney as this weird anti‑superhero, who when he failed would just make up a story to make him succeed," says Neil.
    © Bays And Thomas Productions
And having said that, the actor also admitted to the fact that there will always be some people out there who won't take kindly to some of the sentiments made in the show while watching it on the eve of 2022, however, he can’t do anything about it.

He thinks, “Some people will be offended by it in retrospect - and there's not much one can do in retrospect.”
Talking about how the experience of filming this 9 season-long series was, Harris stated, “The experience of making that show for nine seasons was very good energy ... and there was never a sense of doing things with bad intent."
While this may not justify the misogynistic undertones in the show, it does give a perspective, one which probably didn’t stem out of such a place.

Spiderman: No Way Home just hit the screens, and as expected, is doing exceptionally well. However, the fact that it has beaten a giant like Sooryavanshi is super impressive, and as Marvel fans, that just makes us happy.
    View this post on Instagram
Now, please go and watch it, and be careful about the spoilers. However, you don't have to do that when it comes to this particular topic as we shall discuss nothing regarding the movie itself.
As the movie hit the theaters, a debate started on 'who is the fitter Spiderman' - not essentially the 'better' Spiderman, but the fitter one. While all 3 Spidermans - Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland - are well-loved, each having their own fanbase, this debate seems to mainly concern Tobey and Tom.

    via GIPHY

    via GIPHY
While getting into the nitty-gritties of the entire debate would be nearly impossible as it's never ending, let's focus on the one point that Tobey fans are harping on, and to be fair, that is a strong point indeed when it comes to ascertaining who actually is physically fitter, or rather, more agile IRL.
    via GIPHY
Remember the iconic food tray scene in the first ever Spiderman with Tobey Maguire? In case you don't, here's a little refresher

The tea is (okay not the 'tea', it's actually true) that absolutely no CGI was used to film this incredible stunt. Yes, our jaws are on the floor too. Tobey Maguire genuinely caught the tray, and it apparently took him 156 attempts to do that.

    via GIPHY
Now the argument of the Tobey fan base is, as long as someone doesn't trump this achievement, Tobey Maguire will remain the OG Spiderman who does more justice to the role than anyone else as he is just as agile IRL.

    via GIPHY
The Tom Holland fan base also has some solid points, and some of them have referred to the time Tom legit owned everyone in the 'lip sync battle' while doing Rihanna's impersonation, while dancing to Umbrella.

Okay they make sense too. Look at those moves!

We love both but who do you think is fitter? Let us know in the comments section.

At last, the actress asks if he has lied to his wife Jaya Bachchan in order to save himself from a situation. Answering the query, Big B jokingly says, “Humara aisa hai ki, prathidin humko jhoot bolna padta hai (The thing is, I have to lie every day)”.

Cricket has evolved significantly in the last two decades. The advent of fast-paced T20 cricket has added a new dimension to the sport, bringing in a lot more money and a whole new fan base to the stadium.
Not just that, the rapid rise of the shortest format of the game has also increased the demand for specialist coaches, who can help players improve their specific skill sets. Before T20 cricket, most teams used to have one head coach, who used to be responsible for guiding players in all three departments of the game.
    WINNERS! pic.twitter.com/jpfvPpTuUw
    — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) December 16, 2021
But now, most teams have separate coaches for each of the three major skill sets – batting, bowling and fielding. On top of that, teams also have a head coach, sometimes a mentor, a throwdown specialist, along with a whole lot of other support staff like physios and massage therapist.
While the purists might say that having too many people in the support staff might could lead to unnecessary confusion but looking at the popularity of this concept it’s safe to say that it has benefitted most teams.
The reason why we are talking about the number of coaches within a team is because it seems like in the future we will have this number go up even further as teams would look to appoint coaches with specific job profiles within a given domain.
In fact, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already acted upon it and invited applications for “Power Hitting Coach” among other coaching jobs for its National High Performance Centre in Lahore.
As part of its key strategic objective of achieving cricketing excellence through investment into pathways cricket, the PCB has launched its search for highly qualified and skilled coaches, who will be based at Lahore’s NHPC.https://t.co/GuvtdbhcKd
    — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) December 17, 2021
As this news started to make rounds on social networking sites, it evoked mixed reactions from the supporters. The PCB is in deep turmoil and Indian fans asked from where they would get the money to pay for their power hitting coach. Some even joked that since most of the Pakistan batters are interested in hitting the ball hard, without using their brain, they shouldn’t waste whatever little money they have got.
Whole Pakistani squad is power hitters
Maybe They need someone to teach them defense to play test cricket as a test Cricket not t20.

    PCB is forgetting test cricket

    — Nikhil Vaidya (@ImNIKDYA) December 17, 2021Their head is Empty. Such a mad Decision. Really Funny.

Look at their Test and ODI ranking.
    — Jimmy (@RavalJimmy24) December 17, 2021However, some fans looked at the positive side of their move and praised their initiative saying it could actually become the norm in the coming future as the game progresses.
It's a little strange but I am damn sure other boards will do same in near future
    — Ehsan Bangash (@bangash_cric) December 17, 2021Interesting. It may either become a norm for future teams or be a complete waste of resources. But we have to appreciate them for trying something new
    — Bored Indian (@BoredIndian3) December 17, 2021Wow! Innovative idea. If it works, sets a precedence. Kudos to @TheRealPCB . #CricketTwitter #Cricket
    — Sowmyanarayanan (@SowmyanM) December 17, 2021Smart actually
    — Karan (@karanjain2893) December 17, 2021 You see bowling and batting at different stages of the game requires a different skill set. An opening bowler’s job is to pitch the ball up and look for swing while the death bowler’s job is to bowl in tight areas and limit the run flow.
A opener’s job is to see off the new ball without losing his wicket and set a foundation while a finisher’s role is to hit as many boundaries as possible and both these require completely different skills and mindsets.

    — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) December 16, 2021
If we keep the PCB’s financial capability aside, it’s not hard to understand the rationale behind this move. The rate at which the game is advancing, T20 cricket in particular, it’s only a matter of time when teams start hiring specialists like power-hitting coach like MS Dhoni to groom their finishers or death bowler specialist like Lasith Malinga to improve bowlers’ execution in the last few overs.

I was around 5 when I got the first taste of what Spider-Man was all about.

It was the 1992 Spider-Man: The Animated Series cartoon that used to air, way back in 1997 on Fox Kids, Star Plus, and I'd literally wake up to it in the mornings to start my day with it.
    © Fox Kids Network
Later, I'd move to the Marvel comics of the web-slinging hero and read everything that I could possibly get my hands on. All from Marvel Comics Spider-Man to Ultimate Spider-Man, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

    © Mansij Asthana
The romance would continue with Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man movie starring Tobey Maguire, which I proudly say I watched way before any of my friends, with my father getting me the pirated VCD version of it.

    © Sony Pictures
Since then, there has been no Spider-Man movie that I've not watched in a movie hall in the first week of its release. This includes the Tobey Maguire ones, the Andrew Garfield ones, and of course the Tom Holland ones as well.

Having said that, Spider-Man: No Way Home, with all the hype around it, wasn't obviously something I would have been passing on.
And boy! It did not disappoint one bit!
    © Marvel Studios
Marvel Studios and Sony may not meet eye an eye on a lot of things but I think together, they might have given birth to something that will truly be loved, remembered, and talked about decades from now.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a movie that is a love letter to all superhero fans around the world, and I'd very much like you to read it.
    © Marvel Studios
    SPOILER ALERT

    1. The Movie Has A Superb Pace From Start To The Finish! © Marvel Studios
The one thing I really loved about the film is that it really didn't mess about. It kicks off from the get-go, with the starting sequence of Tom Holland's Spider-Man swinging MJ halfway through New York in what are some scintillating CGI sequences.

The fast-paced, action-filled sequence sets the tone of the film, with Peter Parker not really getting a break from anything.
Soon enough, he's caught in the mix of things. This includes an identity crisis, college admissions, and worst of all, legal troubles related to Mysterio framing him and revealing his identity to the rest of the world.
    2. It Successfully Brings Back Ghosts Of The Past, The Present & Possibly The Future © Marvel Studios
Okay! By the release of the film, we had known that Peter and Dr. Strange had opened mistakenly opened up the multiverse and brought back 'sinister' supervillains like Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Lizard, and Sandman from different Spidey universes.

    © Marvel Studios
    © Marvel Studios
These are all ghosts of Spider-Man's (or should I say Spider-Men's) past, one thing that we weren't really sure of was, that Did the movie and its creators have room for some other important characters who would be ghosts to Tom Holland's Spider-Man's present?

Well, it looked to me that they did, and they executed it in a fashion keeping in mind what the fans actually wanted.
An example of this was the remarkable scene where Peter, Aunt May, and Happy are sitting in a room, and suddenly there is the appearance of a cane in the room, which belongs to none other than a character that was untimely and unfairly taken away from fans not so long ago. Charlie Cox's Daredevil! As soon as he turned up, the whole movie hall broke into a huge roar, myself included.
    © Marvel Studios
I mean, the character was much loved for the Netflix show Daredevil and his appearance as Peter's attorney Matt Murdock meant that he is set to now have a big part in the present as well as future Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This is huge for Marvel as not only do they bring one of the most menacingly powerful and influential superheroes back to the movie screens, but also somehow who has proven to be already successful with fans and critics in the past.
Also, that instant brick-catching stunt by Daredevil was f***ing Epic!
    3. The Movie Made Sure We Got What Each Of Us Wanted! © Marvel Studios
For me, the reason why this particular movie will be etched in our memories forever is that the makers of the film thought about each and every one of us while making the film.

I think, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige along with director Joh Watts and producer Amy Pascal thought about the old Spider-Man movies and decided that they wanted to make a Spider-Man movie that had everything in it, right from filmmaking, CGI, costumes, cast, as well as what fans wanted.
Most importantly, the movie answered what was the most important question of all. Are Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield's Spider-Mans returning?
    © Marvel Studios
The answer was Yes!!! They come back and in some remarkable fashion!

What I found to be truly amazing and heartwarming was that Sony and Marvel decided to let the Spider-Mans age like fine wine.
For anyone who has seen the earlier movies, you know that Tobey's Spider-Man came out 20 years back and the Andrew one almost around a decade back.
Now, instead of bringing them right out of the past when they were young, the makers brought older and potentially worn out yet refined versions of the older Spider-Men.
For me, this was a truly mind-blowing move as we too, as audiences, have grown old while keeping up with the movies, and in a way, with some of us being in our 20s, 30s, we could kind of relate to them more.
Also, as a fan, I absolutely loved how just before the ultimate fight scene at The Statue of Liberty, the three Spider-Mans somehow had the most casual and heartwarming chit-chat scenes.
I mean, they legit just caught up over life, making their chemistry seem way more humane to us than any other.
Ah! What a pleasure was to see the three Spider-Man jump from the high ramp and swing into action together, before sticking the landing in each of their signature Spider-Man poses. Just Incredible!
    4. Oh, Andrew! You Amazing, Amazing Spider-Man! © Marvel Studios
Many might disagree with me, but I for one never found Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man to be less entertaining or failure, or 'lame' or whatever!

In fact, for me, he was truly as close to the comics as I could have envisaged. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Andrew's Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man brings some values that were only seen in The Amazing Spider-Man films.
If you've seen No Way Home, you'll remember the part where he huddles up with Tobey and Tom's Spider-Man to just say, "I love you guys!".
This along with the part where he offers to help Tobey out in stretching perfectly sums up Andrew's Spider-Man.
    © Sony Pictures
He was just childishly, lovingly, and innocently Amazing! Just Amazing!

Not being able to save Gwen in the past left huge scars on him, something that he mentions in the film, and well, in what was something that he could take solace from was that he saved Tom's Peter from the same fate. By ultimately rescuing MJ in what was a similar fall. The look in his eyes is what almost brought me to tears.
I think all of us felt the pain when Gwen died in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and all I can repeat is, what Tobey's Spider-Man says to Andrew. "Lame? You're Not Lame! You're Amazing!"
    5. Welcome Back Tobey! We Missed You. But You Look Great! © Sony Pictures
One of the biggest reasons why Spider-Man: No Way Home got the amount of traction was the possible return of the first cinematic Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire's.

I mean, in all honestly, it all started with him for the movies. To finally be able to see him return to the forefront was going to be always huge and Marvel & Sony both did whatever they could to keep things a secret.
Apparently, New leaked photos of #SpiderManNoWayHome, Looks legit to me. pic.twitter.com/QcefcHq7qI
    — Spider-Man NWH Updates and Leaks (@Spider_Leaks) November 9, 2021While the occasional slip-ups of potentially leaked pictures, could be both accidental or in my opinion, perfect opportunities to create the biggest hype around a certain movie, you have to admit that it eventually paid off.

For all the fans who, like me, visited the movie halls to witness the spectacle, it sure was an amazing sight to see the first Spider-Man return to the movies. We loved him. We missed him. And we sure as hell welcomed him back like hell. I swear, the decibel levels in movie halls must have been at their record highest when Tobey's Peter Parker just walked in through Ned's Dr. Strange-like portal.
What amazed me was that and melted my heart was, that like me and many others, Tobey's Spider-Man too, had grown. No longer did he just wear a casual t-shirt. He sported a haircut that would be similar to someone in his thirties or early forties, and he spoke like a much-older version of Spider-Man too.
This was in no way bad at all. One of the best things I liked about Tobey's Peter Parker, was that he always felt like one of us. Take his school struggles, his difficulty with interacting with pretty women, and him being bombarded with life's tough realities, it was all something most of us could imagine ourselves.
    © Sony Pictures
Nonetheless, however, Tobey's Peter Parker/Spider-Man went through all of that. And was here. And he looked good! It really is nice seeing you again, Tobey.

    6. Tom, You Wonderful Spider-Man! You've Grown So Much And We Are All So Proud Of You! © Marvel Studios
Finally, I want to showcase my admiration and my love for Tom Holland, an actor who has made the Spider-Man role his own.

We first caught a glimpse of you in the Captain America: Civil War movie, as the very young apprentice to Marvel Universe's then Commander-In-Chief, Tony Stark AKA Iron Man.
    © Marvel Studios
However, a lot has changed since then with Robert Downey Jr. retiring from the role, and boy! I must admit, you've really grown so much since then.

Throughout the Civil War movie, The Avengers movies, and your own Spider-Man trilogy, I have seen Tom Holland's Spider-Man change from a kid to a man.
    © Marvel Studios
    © Marvel Studios
    © Marvel Studios
Yes! Spider-Man: No Way Home may have wonderfully welcomed back Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Man versions, but Tom Holland, it was you who was the main man running the show.

Just recently, Joe Russo, the director of Avengers: Endgame mentioned how Tom has taken over as the "Soul" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the baton being passed from Robert Downey Jr., who held the status till his retirement.
All I can say after watching No Way Home is that I could not agree more. The charm, innocence, maturity, and overall charisma of Tom Holland's Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man means that he is now at the center of whatever movies or projects Marvel has in mind in the future.
    © Marvel Studios
It is already reported that Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige plan to rope Tom for another Spider-Man trilogy, and I sure give a big "Hell Yeah" to that.

For now, all I have left is a thank you note for the creators, Tom Holland, and everyone else associated with the film. At a time when we are caught up in the middle of the pandemic, thank you for making us feel like children again!
    © Marvel Studios
It was truly an honor to witness the spectacle that was Spider-Man: No Way Home, a remarkable story about Spider-Man, the People's Hero!

In no time, the videos went viral, however, people were harsh towards the actor.

Recently, the actress spoke on the show Swipe Ride wherein she said she appreciates fitness and an ‘extremely ripped’ physique but is not in favour of men flaunting it online. She called her preferences ‘old school’.

“I just don’t understand it. Like I really appreciate guys going and working out and looking extremely ripped and fit. That’s a big ‘Oh yes!’ That shows how dedicated you are. But then again, why would you want to put it as your profile picture? Like, let people get to know you to actually get to that phase where they see your body. I mean, I’m just too old school,” she said.

Rashmika was also asked if she would date a younger man. “I don’t know, I think for me, they have to make you feel good about yourself. They should not try and change you. All of the small things. I think age doesn’t matter,” she said.
Talking about Mission Majnu, Rashmika had told ANI, “In the first narration itself I knew I wanted to be a part of this film because I knew if not, for now, I’d not have done this character again or later on, it’s one of those roles. It’s a now or never kinda character. Mission Majnu has given me so many firsts - from exploring the northern part of India, the culture, the language, the people, the industry, and working with such a wonderful team and the co-actors. I couldn't have asked for more.”

Salman Khan, who resides in luxurious Galaxy apartments, is a proud owner of multiple properties in Mumbai. If you have been following Salman Khan’s career, he is one of the most bankable stars of Bollywood.
If the reports are to be believed, the total net worth of Salman Khan is estimated to be $310 Million, which in Indian currency is approximately Rs 2255 Crore with an annual income of Rs 192 Crore. The major part of his earnings comes from brand endorsements and the TV shows he hosts Big Boss. He charges a whopping amount of Rs 6-7 Crore per brand endorsement.
    View this post on Instagram
As we mentioned that he owns multiple properties in Mumbai, he has now decided to rent out his Bandra apartment. This apartment is in Shiv Asthan Heights, Bandra West, Mumbai. Apparently, the Radhe actor has rented it out at Rs 95,000 per month. This apartment is situated on the 14th floor with the unit spread across 758 square feet.
According to reports in Money Control, documents accessed by Zapkey.com have revealed the agreement for Salman Khan’s apartment. It is said that the flat was registered on December 6. “The tenure of the agreement is 33 months, documents showed,” the report added. The rentee has reportedly paid a deposit of Rs 2.85 lakh with the agreement mentioning a 5% escalation clause in it.
The rent is way more than most of our monthly incomes. Sadly, the topic of money distribution in our country is debatable.
Moving on to his professional front, he was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film marks Salman’s first onscreen collaboration with brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
During a recent media interaction, while promoting the movie, Salman was asked if the era of stardom will come to an end, in wake of the new debate over the emergence of OTT.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, Salman is quoted saying, “We will go, somebody else will come up. I don't think that era of stars will go. It will never go. It will always be there. It now depends on a lot of things, selection of movies, what you are in real life, and more. It's a whole package of things. This younger generation will have their superstardom.”
    View this post on Instagram
Salman went on to add, “I have been hearing this for the last four generations, 'ki yeh last generation hain (this is the last generation of stars).' We will not leave it for the younger generation to take it easy. We will not hand it over to them. 'Mehnat karo bhai, pachas plus me mehnat kar hi rahe hain, toh aap bhi mehnat karo (work hard, we are working hard at the age of 50, you should also work hard).”
