The Shahid Kapoor we are seeing on the screens today has reinvented himself drastically over the years. He made his Bollywood debut with the hit film Ishq Vishk in 2003.
View this post on Instagram
He was seen as a chocolate boy of the industry but today, we see a very different avatar of Shahid as he is no more restricted because of a conventional hero image. He is experimenting with his characters and picking up roles that challenge him as an actor.
And now, Shahid is making a comeback as he has stepped into the shoes of a cricketer in the Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film Jersey.
The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who was also the director of the Telugu version of the film. It is a story of a former cricket player who tries to revive his career but fails miserably. It is about a man who wants to aspire to do sports in his mid-40s but faces several complications.
The trailer has been received really well by the audience and people can see the extra mile Shahid went for the film.

In a recent live interaction on Instagram, a fan asked Shahid about his experience of training with a seasoned ball during the Jersey shoot. To this, the actor revealed that he was badly injured and revealed shocking details about the incident.
“I busted my lip on this film. My strongest memory of Jersey will be that I felt that I will never look the same again,” he said. Shahid then went on to reveal that the incident occurred when he was practising with a seasoned ball off-camera and it was the day when he chose to not wear his helmet.
“(The ball) busted my lower lip and we actually had to stop shooting for two months because of that. I had to get some 25 stitches. It actually took three months for my lip to feel normal -- it still doesn't feel normal. There's a part on my lip (giving fans a close look at it) which I feel it's dead. I can't move it. So I've given my blood to this film,” added the Haider actor.

Shahid always believes in putting extra effort into his characters, and the result is visible on the screen.
Apart from Shahid, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and backed by Aman Gill, the film is all set to release on December 31, 2021.

Bollywood superstar John Abraham is one actor who has recently cemented his status as being a proper action hero. With the release of his latest movie Satyameva Jayate 2, which is a sequel to the 2018 film, marking John's return to full-on fighting sequences in the movie.
© Instagram/John Abraham
Ever since making his stellar debut back in 2003, John has done plenty of Bollywood films and tried out different genres as well. From being in comedy films like Houseful 2, Dostana, Garam Masala, and others to trying out chocolate boy roles like the one in Jhoota Hi Sahi and others, the actor really has done it all in Bollywood.
However, one thing that John was exceptionally good at was his intense romance movies with Jism being one of them. John really became a *** symbol in the early 2000s with women going crazy for him. However, did you know the actor once had an incident to forget during one of his films?
According to reports, John was once shooting for a *** scene with co-star Kangana Ranaut in the movie Shootout At Wadala when things really got out of hand. A TOI report quoted a source saying that John apparently got too carried away in the scene that he ended up hurting Kangana during the scene.
© Netflix
“There are not one but two hot, lovemaking scenes in Shootout at Wadala. One is a simple but passionate kiss and the other is so violent that it’s almost like a sexual assault on Kangana by John! Both John and Kangana have kissed in their earlier films so the kissing scene went off smoothly. It was during the passionate lovemaking scene that both got into a heated argument. John holds her hand tightly and starts making love to her but his grip was so strong that her bangles broke and she started bleeding." said the source.
However, John immediately realized the situation and apologized to Kangana for it. "Of course, John immediately apologized to Kangana. It was just that being good actors both he and Kangana got carried away with the passion created at the moment.” said the source.
Wow! Imagine being in the moment. That's full method acting, to be honest. I guess that's what makes them the actors that they are today. To be successful, you sometimes have to be too true to the craft, even if it at times gets out of hand.
Thankfully, they were both professional about it and it's forgotten.

In a world where fans are so devoted to their favourite celebs, sometimes, they tend to do everything they possibly can to attract their star's attention.
Fans have often gone the extra mile to just get noticed once by their favourite actor, and sometimes, that crosses a line.
Bollywood star Salman Khan enjoys unparalleled popularity across the world and his fans are known for being insanely devoted to him.
Salman’s latest movie Antim The Final Truth has been released and a few fans decided to celebrate their star's comeback in their own way.
View this post on Instagram
And how did they do that? They burst firecrackers inside a theatre.
After hearing about the incident, Salman raised an objection and made it very clear that he was not okay with it.
He took to Instagram and shared a video of the sight and urged theatre owners to not allow firecrackers inside the hall.
Sharing the video, Salman wrote, “Request all my fans not to take firecrackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners is not to allow firecrackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at the entry point. Enjoy the film by all means but please please avoid this is my request to all my fans .. thank you.”
Here’s the video:

We also agree with Salman that it could have been deadly and we are glad that he called it out.
Talking about the film, Salman told Indian Express that, initially, he was in ‘two minds’ to do Antim. “Initially, I was in two minds whether I should do it or not, but the idea was stuck in my head. I was told it is a small role but I refused to accept it. I was working on the script with Mahesh (Manjrekar) and I knew what we were making. We have only picked up the basic plot from the original. The screenplay has been changed and it is a different film altogether. It is lavishly mounted while the original was made on a limited budget,” he said.
The film also stars Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as the antagonist.
The film hit the screens on November 26. While the audience has given a big thumbs up to the movie, critics gave a mixed response to it.

After being dominated by the New Zealand openers on the second day of the Kanpur Test, the Indian bowlers scripted a great comeback on the following day, bowling them out from 296 runs in the first innings.
However, not everything went India’s way on Day 3.
Having stitched a 151-run stand for the opening wicket, the visitors were well and truly in the driver’s seat. Both their openers Tom Latham and Will Young made the batting look so easy and made the Indian bowlers toil hard for the wickets.
.@ashwinravi99 gets the much needed breakthrough as Will Young is caught behind for 89.

India got some respite when Ravichandran Ashwin got Young caught behind the stumps for the first breakthrough. Despite losing his opening partner, Latham kept scoring runs and inched towards his yet another Test hundred.
The hosts knew the southpaw’s wicket would be crucial if they were to mount a comeback yet they gave him a lifeline by deciding against the Decision Review System (DRS) in the 73rd over of the New Zealand innings.
What’s astonishing is that India had not one but two reviews left at the time but still, they didn’t go upstairs.
Special: @ashwinravi99 takes centre stage to interview Mr. Fifer @akshar2026 & Super sub @KonaBharat.

Ashwin bowled a loopy full-length delivery that turned just enough to beat Latham’s forward defence and crashed on his back leg while brushing the front pad along the way. The veteran off-spinner made a huge LBW appeal but it was turned down by the umpire.
Given the position India were in, everyone expected them to challenge the on-field decision because at first glance it seemed a really close call but Ajinkya Rahane’s decision left everyone surprised.
Latham out LBW at 66, given not out, review not taken by India.

— Bhupesh Juneja (@BhupeshJuneja1) November 27, 2021
The replay showed that the ball had pitched in the line, the impact was in front, and the ball would have gone on to hit the middle and off stump.
Indian batting great Sunil Gavaskar felt that India “missed the trick” by not going for the DRS, adding that at most it would have been the umpire’s call and they would have retained the review.
“India missed a trick. They should have gone for the review. Even if it was umpire's call, they would have retained the review,” Gavaskar said, who was on-air at the time.
Rahane, who has been facing a lot of flak owing to his poor form, was heavily criticised by the Indian fans on social media, with people questioning his place in the Test team.
So far NZ batters survived 3 times because of poor umpiring and poor DRS taking abilities of Rahane.

— ARYAN (@TheAryanBansal) November 27, 2021After saying Pant has to do better with the DRS, Ashwin be thinking Rahane has to learn from Kohli too! Go up for everything!
— Sarah Waris (@swaris16) November 27, 2021Worst umpiring also DRS should be taken.
Bad Captaincy Rahane
— Priyanshu Bhattacharya (@im_Priyanshu_B7) November 27, 2021Why the hell Rahane did not take DRS call..pathetic decision!! #IndvsNZ #IndvNZ
— Virat (@Virat0000018) November 27, 2021On one hand, we have India’s regular Test skipper Virat Kohli who goes for the DRS even if there’s half a chance of getting a wicket and on the other, we have Rahane whose overcautious mindset could have cost the team dearly.
And, another one falls!
Just what India needed. @akshar2026 with his third wicket as Tom Latham departs for 95.

However, India were lucky that Latham didn’t make them pay heavily for their generosity as he got out to Axar Patel, five short of his century.
The right-handed batter failed to make amends in the second innings as well and could only score four runs during his 15-ball stay.

Given how Shreyas Iyer batted in the first innings and scored a brilliant hundred on his debut, many fans believe that he has done enough to retain his place in the side more than India’s stand-in skipper who has not only failed in both aspects of the game.

Prateik Babbar is one of the most unconventional stars in Bollywood, be it the roles he takes up or his personal style.
Apart from switching up looks and experimenting with new trends, he is one actor that enjoys breaking fashion and grooming stereotypes for men.
In other words, he is as gutsy as it gets as far as style is considered.
© Instagram/Prateik Babbar
From sporting daring hairstyles to rocking atypical style, Prateik Babbar has been setting some major goals in the world of fashion and we are here for it.
Since he turns 35 today, here is taking the day to appreciate his love for quirky looks and daring fashion choices.
© Instagram/Prateik Babbar
Here are all the times he set the bar higher for the men in Bollywood by pulling off some of the coolest looks and smashed fashion stereotypes:
1. Bold Hair Colours © Instagram/Prateik Babbar
The actor isn’t shy to dye his mane. From electric blue to platinum blonde, he has tried it all.
There was even a time when he coloured half his hair black and half red and even dyed an eyebrow red which is undoubtedly the boldest look he, or any celebrity for that matter, has pulled so far.
2. Pinks & Prints View this post on Instagram
You can tell how experimental he is by one look at his sartorial choices.
From eccentric styles to androgynous fashion, the Ekk Deewana Tha actor doesn’t limit himself to typical menswear colours and fits.
Here is him rocking pink and animal print ‘together’ like a boss.
3. Badass Hairstyles © Instagram/Prateik Babbar
Not just quirky hair colours, he keeps on experimenting with the length, texture and styles too.
He would get his naturally curly hair super straight sometimes, while the other time he would go for long spikes. He even tried cornrow braids and pulled them off really well.
4. Nail Art FTW © Instagram/Prateik Babbar
How many men in Indian cinema do you see painting their nails and not being fazed by the trolls? Not many. But Prateik Babbar is totally one of them.
In fact, he is setting the trend of men’s nail art with his aesthetically painted claws. He drops new and kickass nail art time and again.
5. Chunky Accessories © Instagram/Prateik Babbar
Babbar’s personal fashion statement is more street-style and he is often spotted in baggy clothes, denim jackets, layers and his accessories compliment the looks.
Blingy silver chains, beaded bracelets and caps and beanies are always a part of his look.
