‘Avoid This’: Fans Watching ‘Antim’ Burst Crackers In Theatre & Salman Is Not Okay With It

In a world where fans are so devoted to their favourite celebs, sometimes, they tend to do everything they possibly can to attract their star's attention.

Fans have often gone the extra mile to just get noticed once by their favourite actor, and sometimes, that crosses a line.

Bollywood star Salman Khan enjoys unparalleled popularity across the world and his fans are known for being insanely devoted to him.

Salman’s latest movie Antim The Final Truth has been released and a few fans decided to celebrate their star's comeback in their own way.

And how did they do that? They burst firecrackers inside a theatre.

After hearing about the incident, Salman raised an objection and made it very clear that he was not okay with it.

He took to Instagram and shared a video of the sight and urged theatre owners to not allow firecrackers inside the hall.

Sharing the video, Salman wrote, “Request all my fans not to take firecrackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners is not to allow firecrackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at the entry point. Enjoy the film by all means but please please avoid this is my request to all my fans .. thank you.”

We also agree with Salman that it could have been deadly and we are glad that he called it out.

Talking about the film, Salman told Indian Express that, initially, he was in ‘two minds’ to do Antim. “Initially, I was in two minds whether I should do it or not, but the idea was stuck in my head. I was told it is a small role but I refused to accept it. I was working on the script with Mahesh (Manjrekar) and I knew what we were making. We have only picked up the basic plot from the original. The screenplay has been changed and it is a different film altogether. It is lavishly mounted while the original was made on a limited budget,” he said.

The film also stars Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as the antagonist.

The film hit the screens on November 26. While the audience has given a big thumbs up to the movie, critics gave a mixed response to it.
