Abbas-Mustan have a long history of remaking some of the best international movies into Bollywood action films. Baazigar, Race, 36 China Town - all of these movies are hit remakes of international films.

If industry insiders are to be believed, they are planning to remake the hit Spanish series Money Heist, and give it a desi touch.Β Β

Money Heist gained a lot of attention in the last couple of years, so much so that a number of mainstream bollywood actors took to Instagram and said that they would love to play the Professor in case there’s an Indian remake.

The Professor, played by Alvaro Morte, is the most popular character from the show, and has become a fan favourite. Everyone who has watched the show, simply love the character, along with that of Berlin.Β

In India, Ayushmann KhurranaΒ and Shah Rukh KhanΒ were the favourites to play Professor, whenever it would be remade in Hindi.

Fans of the show will be surprised to learn that the director-duo are not going for either of them. Instead the actor they have in mind is very unusual.

Abbas-Mustan are apparently considering casting Arjun Rampal in the Hindi version of Money Heist.

A source close to the makers of the film has revealed that the Indian version of Money Heist has been named Three Monkeys as of now, and will feature 3 robbers, along with the Professor. One of the thieves will be portrayed by Mustafa Burmawala, son of director Abbas.

The source also revealed that the film will go on the floors by the end of this month, or in early December, and will be shot in Mumbai, and a couple of international locations. The filmmakers are looking for a mid 2022 release.

Although it may come across as a bit surprising that Arjun Rampal has been cast as the professor, he is a capable actor and can actually pull off the character. He certainly has the looks and style to play the Professor.Β

What will be interesting to see is how receptive the Indian audiences will be, towards the remake of a show like Money Heist, which still continues to enjoy a massive popularity. Given that Money Heist has been one of the most streamed originals show from Netflix, especially in India, will audiences cosy upto a remake this soon?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh KhanΒ has gone through a lot in the last month or so with the arrest of his eldest son Aryan Khan and the insane things that were said in the aftermath of it.

Now, laying low on social events and media, King Khan is currently spending some needed time with Aryan at his Alibaug bungalow in order to get some peace.

At a time when a lot of sad and ugly things were written about him and his family, actress Malvika Raaj, who was SRK's co-star in the superhit Karan Johar film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, has recalled a moment when the Bollywood Badshaah completely amazed her.

For people who don't know, Malvika played the younger version of Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'Poo' in the movie and had a few moments on-screen with Shah Rukh.
The actress is currently on the course of making her Bollywood comeback after almost 20 years with the new movie 'Squad'.
Malvika, while speaking in an interview recalled when she was on the sets of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and how Shah Rukh's one gesture completely swept her off her feet.
β€œI remember once we were all sitting for lunch on set and Shah Rukh sir was sitting there too. I came in and he actually left his food and got up to meet me. That really touched me and I still remember that till today. People generally don’t do that and Shah Rukh sir, being Shah Rukh sir, he is just so amazing and humble,” she said.
Talking more about the Pathan actor, Malvika said that Shah Rukh really is someone who despite being a superstar always treats everyone equally.
"Shah Rukh Khan is my favorite. He is such a grounded person. He is so hardworking and always so humble despite being a superstar. That was a learning experience for me that no matter how big an actor you are, how big a superstar you become, don't show your stardom on set. He would treat a lightman very well and everybody is equal for him on set."
She even recalled a moment when she met him at a party not so long back and what he said to her.Β Β
"I met him at a party two years ago, and I told him who I was. He was like, β€œYou have become so big”. I am just a very big fan of Shah Rukh Khan," said Malvika.
The actress will now star in the upcoming Squad movie alongside Rinzing Denzongpa, son of veteran actor Danny Denzongpa.
