    Virat Kohli is arguably one of the most criticised cricketers and captain of an international squad in the history of the game. The kind of pressure he is expected to deliver under and the kind of expectations the fans of the Men in Blue have attached to him can be excruciatingly unrealistic.
    There is no denying the fact that the elite batter and leader has seen a significant dip in his performance over the years and as a result, Kohli has decided to step down as the captain of the squad in the shortest format of the game as soon as the T20 World Cup 2021 gets over.

    In the statement that the captain had released while announcing his big news back in September 2021, he has mentioned about he wanted to give up a little bit of his opportunities as skipper in order to reduced his workload management, while trying to retain his form with the bat and focus better on his duties as the ODI and Test captain.
    However, does that mean once Kohli gives up his captaincy, the team management will completely get rid of him? Will Team India look to bring in a replacement for Kohli and the number three spot in the batting lineup where he usually bats?

    “I feel Virat Kohli fans might get upset with this but it is possible that Virat Kohli may not have a spot in the Indian T20I team if he is not the captain and if you wish to progress...” he says. “If you played in the 2007 T20 World Cup without Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, and Anil Kumble, it means that you can do the same here (in the UAE) as well. There is a possibility that if India doesn’t win this T20 World Cup, then I feel that Virat may not have a spot in the Playing XI.”
    Ever since Gupta made these comments, the particular video has gone viral on the internet and fans have become extremely hostile towards the journalist.

    Here’s the thing with desi moms. They always think you are not eating enough and would give you an earful for it. Regardless of how healthy you are, how old you are or even when you are a celebrity, everyone’s mom treats them the same. Actor Anupam Kher’s mother is no different.

    The 66-year-old met his mom, Dulari Kher after a month and got scolded for looking thin. The actor shared the hilarious incident on social media where his mother didn’t look happy with her son eating less and losing weight.

    He posted a sneaky video of his mom on Instagram where she is going on about how he eats too little and looks too thin. He wrote in the caption, “Met Mom after a month. She immediately called me #Sukda (very thin). Made unbelievable faces! Then added that I look like a #Hoggard. Kashmiri word for dried fish.”

    She came bearing gifts for her son though and calmed down in seconds. It was wholesome to see his equation with his mother. He added in the caption, “But then I got two nice shirts. She also liked the prantha I offered her. It is impossible to have a dull moment when she is around!! #DulariRocks #MomsAreTheBest”

    His followers could relate and said all moms are the same when it comes to a child’s health and eating habits. Some called her cute while others said she was savage, and only she could scold the veteran actor like that.

    Anupam Kher vowed to fitness a few years ago and managed to lose around 16 kilos in less than two years. He apparently got inspired to follow a fitness regime by Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor and started living a healthy and active lifestyle in his 60s.

    The head coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri will be bidding adieu to his position with the Men in Blue as soon as the T20 World Cup 2021 will be over. However, the former Indian cricketer will continue to be in high demand among the India Premier League franchises, thanks to his exceptional coaching record with the national side.
    Even though the tournament is not over yet, Shastri has already been approached by an IPL team to act as their head coach during the upcoming season, which only goes on to show his popularity and fame as a leader and a mentor.

    Unfortunately, it was because of the city of which the team had approached Shastri that his fondness for alcoholic beverages became a national source of memes and social media trolls once again.
    The newly formed IPL franchise from Ahmedabad has reportedly taken the first step towards getting Shastri on their side and hope to exploit his expertise of being in the locker room with the intention of making some early strides in their inaugural season.
    The Ahmedabad franchise is likely to sign Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar. (Reported by Cricbuzz).
