After Diwali, the virtual celebrations continued for film buffs as everyone deliciously indulged in photo dumps of celebrities, taking a sneak peek into how ‘filmy’ was their Diwali. The Bachchan family also called in a quiet affair and lots of family pictures of the members decked up in Indian outfits were shared. However, things took an interesting turn when some people pointed out an innocuous observation. Apparently the painting in the background of the Bachchan family photo resembles that of the famous Majnu Bhai’s painting from Welcome movie, and desis are convinced it is the art of that famous artist only.

However, jokes apart, like there’s one intelligent student for every jocular kid in class, someone on social media also decrypted this painting and explained the logic behind hanging the painting of a bull in the house.
Hey guys. #Bull painting symbolises power, strength, speed and optimism. By placing this in the abundance corner of the office or house helps to bring the Bull Run in one’s financial situation. It symbolises ultimate gain, success and incremental prosperity..
    — Madhu (@Sudhana2302) November 5, 2021When placed in the house, in the living room or in the office, it helps to protect you from ill intentions of other for you. It protects you from people with negative energies
    — Madhu (@Sudhana2302) November 5, 2021Diwali 2021 was different in a lot of ways for all of us after the horrible second wave of Covid the country had to endure. Here’s hoping we continue to stay safe and healthy.

There are two kinds of people in the world, one who sleep peacefully, dream vicariously and don’t remember shit when they wake up.
And on the other kind, there are those who go to sleep, dream just as vividly, but end up remembering what their dreams were. And this article is particularly for the ones belonging to the latter.

How many times has it been that you’ve woken up with a sudden jolt in the middle of the night, trying to hold on tight to your bed sheet or your blanket, because you feel like you’re falling? Or when you wake up a tad bit paranoid, out of breath and disoriented thinking you’re being chased?

Well, turns out these are some of the most commonly experienced dream sequences that aren’t as insignificant as we’d think them to be. Here are some of the most common dreams and what they mean.
    1) Falling In Dreamsvia GIPHY
This is when you feel like you’ve tripped and you're falling down (at a lightning speed too), however, just before you hit the surface, you wake up with a sudden jerk and a shaking sensation in your legs.
Such twitches and jerks are called ‘hypnic jerks’, and often when one starts to have such dreams, research suggests that it could mean you’re feeling either out of control or perhaps overwhelmed in life.
The act of falling could be symbolism for feeling unstable or anxious in reality, reflected through your dreams.
    2) Dying In Dreams
    via GIPHY
Unlike popular opinion that thinks having dreams, where you have died, are bad, dreams about dying, in views of a mystical practitioner MaKayla McRae  signify, “Your subconscious mind brings up the theme of death in dreams to show where you are releasing things that no longer serve you in order to make space for new beginnings.”
They are often looked at as a product of internal growth that is contributing to change your life in a big way.
    3) Being Chased In Dreams
    via GIPHY
Another common dream for many is when they feel like they’re being chased in a dream.
They feel breathless and hyper with an adrenaline rush and find themselves running at a lightning speed.
The catch here is to also identify what or who it is that is chasing you. Either way, it may be perceived as a wake-up call, since it signifies that you might be running away from something.
Be it a conversation, a confrontation or a mere deadline, it hints at you trying to avoid something hard or painful.
    4) Flying In Dreamsvia GIPHY
Dreams about flying are not as linear as one may think.
Depending upon the nature of our flying in our dreams, it could either hint towards a certain sense of freedom or a sort of an escape from something that had been holding you back all this while.
While dreams about flying are usually taken to be about freedom and momentum, in its own way, it can also be about the lack thereof in your personal life.

Indian TV shows and movies of the 90s and the 2000s left a major mark on us growing up as kids & we will forever look back on them fondly just because of how good they were.
    © YouTube
Having said that, however, there were certain specific things in those movies and shows that intrigued us beyond measure. The element of magic involved and sometimes the sheer price made them really desirable. Here is a list of such amazing things that we all wanted to have as kids.

    1. Shaka Laka Boom Boom Pencil © Star TV
Sanju's magical pencil from the hit show Shaka Laka Boom Boom could turn any drawn picture into a real-life, flly functional object. Now, at a time when we had a never-ending desire for toys and what-not, we'd have loved to be able to just draw and have them for ourselves. In fact, wouldn't it be fun if we just drew everything we wanted instead of spending our hard-earned money on them now?

    2. Raju Chacha's House © Twitter
Who doesn't remember this amazing kids movie where Anil Kapoor played what could be our early tryst with the most fondly remembered superhero? Well, not really a superhero, but he sure did have a super gadget that gave him the superpower of invisibility. The locket that he found behind a framed photo was the coolest thing one could own.

I mean, just imagine avoiding people and just going about your day or snooping about while wearing the locket without being seen. The opportunities were endless and the locket made it all possible.

Being a celebrity is like walking on thin ice all the time. Everything these stars do or say is scrutinized and dissected into something which they may or may not intend. The Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt can vouch for it, whose harmless Instagram post for his wife invited plenty of hate.

    © Instagram/Chris Pratt
Pratt put up an appreciation post about his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger where he thanked her for giving him “a gorgeous healthy daughter” among other things. “Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter,” he wrote.

The couple welcomed their first daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt in August last year. While some deemed the post as sweet and normal, others found his “healthy daughter” comment problematic, mainly because he has a nine-year-old son Jack, with his first wife Anna Faris, who was born premature and suffered a lot of health issues since birth.

    © Instagram/Anna Faris
Pratt received flak from people for gushing about a healthy child when his son has been facing health issues, which could have been unintentional but sounded a bit inconsiderate about his first-born.

A user wrote, “As a special needs parent, you triggered me when you said she gave you a ‘healthy’ daughter. Like implying your last wife didn’t? Your kiddo has special needs and he’s special and healthy too! You should praise her for everything she’s been through. And him too.”
    © Instagram/Chris Pratt
Another commented, “It's really gross to me that Chris Pratt specifically mentions that she gave him a gorgeous healthy daughter, presumably in contrast to his son from his first marriage, who was premature and has had several medical issues.”

Someone said it was a weird thing to say when the other child isn’t even mentioned in the post, while another pointed out why isn’t he thankful for her for being a great stepmother to his son?

When you think about it, it does sound disrespectful and contradictory to his son who hasn’t been exactly a healthy child, with no fault of his own. Maybe he could have been a bit careful with words.

Do you think people are reading between the lines and overreacting or is this actually a cringe thing to say when his son is concerned? Let us know in the comments below.

A father-son relationship is quite unique in its ways. While both parties might not necessarily express their love for each other, their bond is unbreakable and wholesome without any emotions involved. And, there are some things that a man can learn only from his dad.

    © The Timeliners
Not just the basic life skills and the manliest things like changing a tyre or how to shave or the best investment options to put your money in, fathers pass down some pearls of wisdom to their sons that they learned from years of experience or probably from their dads.

    © Dharma Productions
Someone on Reddit put up a post asking, “Men who have great fathers, what valuable lessons did your dad teach you?” And men listed down the most valuable and insightful lessons they learned from their dads and thanked them for it. Here are some of the best responses from the thread. .

    © Dharma Productions
    1. Taught me to always tell those you love that you love them. Was never too manly to hug me, tell me he loved me, and that he was proud of me. I’m passing on the same thing to my daughter.

    2. The importance of manning up and apologizing when you're wrong, and that changing is absolutely possible if you're willing to step up and address the problem.
    3. He taught me to set aside a portion of my income in tax-advantaged retirement accounts. And make sure you invest your money in well-diversified funds of stocks (and a small amount of bonds). I’ve followed his advice, and in my early thirties I already have enough money set aside to cover about half my household’s monthly expenses in retirement. Thanks, Dad!
    4. Respect everyone until they give you reason to do otherwise, and to also never hide your feelings. That factored into me always wanting to help and support others regardless of anything.
    5. He taught me to be kind, respectful and forgiving. If there are ever any issues all I do is ask myself 'what would my dad do' and it's always right.
The most amazing thing about this thread is that these weren’t just the manliest things like managing finances and hunting but how to be polite, the importance of punctuality and communications that often goes unappreciated. We need to thank our dad more, and not just on a Reddit thread.

Every time a super famous number from the 90s is picked up and revamped for a movie today, Bollywood fans automatically get divided on the why and the how. Besides these ‘ renewed’ songs reaching out to millennial audience, people take it for granted that perhaps music director Tanishk Bagchi is behind it, since he’s known to alter every old song and customize it for the new crop. Adding to the list of more hits and misses, the latest song from Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi just dropped, and it stars Katrina Kaif opposite him. It is a new version of the cult 90s hit song Tip Tip Barsa which had a super gorgeous Raveena Tandon in a flowing yellow saree dancing in the rain and a smitten Akki matching the rhythm.

While the only common denominator in the song is Akshay Kumar, Katrina’s sensuous moves are beyond hot and it setting the rain on fire.

    — Sure shot academy for UPSC bpsc (@ShotUpsc) November 6, 2021 So while everyone agreed that Katrina totally owned this number because her screen presence is magical, every 90s kid out there could not help but compare this one to the OG. Needless to say, people had a lot of emotions.

    — Samyy (@_Doctor_Doodle_) November 6, 2021Sorry Raveena But Katrina Stole the Show in Tip Tip Barsa Paani#Sooryavanshi
    — Dhruv (ध्रुव) (@IamDhruv45) November 6, 2021Original tip tip barsa pani is original .It has memory and emotion attached . Remix always ruin .Raveena 's yellow saree magic is not close to Katrina's metallic silver saree by manish malhotra .Like in the same way ,Katrina's teri ore is her original and tip tip .. #Sooryavanshi
    — Pragati Sinha (@Pragatiisinha) November 6, 2021 What do you think? I loved Katrina and probably rewatched the video just for her, but won’t lie, I also went back to appreciate and relive the magic create by Raveena Tandon.

Some people also observed that probably Akshay Kumar was the luckiest since he didn’t get replaced in this number. Sooryavanshi is currently running in theatres and has garnered mixed reviews.
