5 Amazing Things From Indian Movies & TV Shows That We All Wanted To Own As Kids


Indian TV shows and movies of the 90s and the 2000s left a major mark on us growing up as kids & we will forever look back on them fondly just because of how good they were.

Having said that, however, there were certain specific things in those movies and shows that intrigued us beyond measure. The element of magic involved and sometimes the sheer price made them really desirable. Here is a list of such amazing things that we all wanted to have as kids.

Sanju's magical pencil from the hit show Shaka Laka Boom Boom could turn any drawn picture into a real-life, flly functional object. Now, at a time when we had a never-ending desire for toys and what-not, we'd have loved to be able to just draw and have them for ourselves. In fact, wouldn't it be fun if we just drew everything we wanted instead of spending our hard-earned money on them now?

2. Raju Chacha's House

Who doesn't remember this amazing kids movie where Anil Kapoor played what could be our early tryst with the most fondly remembered superhero? Well, not really a superhero, but he sure did have a super gadget that gave him the superpower of invisibility. The locket that he found behind a framed photo was the coolest thing one could own.

I mean, just imagine avoiding people and just going about your day or snooping about while wearing the locket without being seen. The opportunities were endless and the locket made it all possible.
