    You can literally always trust Diljit Dosanjh to give his all for his work. 

    Be it dancing to 5 Taara, making a killer Bollywood debut with Udta Punjab or releasing a super polished album recently, the guy knows he can do it all, and so he does. 
    Joining his madness is the combined talent house of actresses Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa, who are not just making people crush hard on their beauty, but also be in awe of their on-point acting skills. 
    Their next movie titled Honsla Rakh has been in the pipeline for more than a year and now, the trailer of this laughter riot is finally out: 


    This romantic comedy basically looks like it follows the classic routine of how a comedy of errors is made. 
    Diljit and Shehnaaz are a couple who end up getting divorced and Diljit gets custody of their son, Honsla. A year later, he finally falls in love once again with Sonam Bajwa, only to realise that his ex-wife Shehnaaz is back in the picture. 
    The storyline looks pretty simple and the acting nuances of all the characters is what will get this movie rolling for sure.

    After defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by two wickets in a thrilling encounter, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) not only regained the top spot in the IPL 2021 points table but also became the second team after the Delhi Capitals to qualify for the playoffs.

    However, there is one man who has been quietly doing his job since the start of the season without hogging any extra limelight. Former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis has contributed to the team’s success considerably this season. He is their leading run-scorer, amassing 394 runs in 10 outings.

    Apart from the runs that he has scored, his commitment for the franchise is second to none and this was there for everyone to see when he kept on fielding despite a bleeding knee. Not just that he even pulled off a stunning relay catch on the boundary ropes. 

    If a player is injured on the field, then he is allowed to leave the field for treatment and nobody would have questioned du Plessis had he done that. He doesn’t bowl at all and many other players in his place would have left the field and come back to when their chance to bat arrived, which as per rules is completely permissible.

    However, du Plessis didn’t want to let go of any chance to contribute to the team and left the field only for a brief period and resumed his fielding duties moments later and took a brilliant catch to dismiss KKR skipper Eoin Morgan near the fence in the 10th over of the innings.

    Kangana has played the role of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in Thalaivii, and the film is directed by AL Vijay. 

    Thalaivii portrays various stages of Jayalalithaa's life. It shows her journey as an actress at a young age and then how she became a revolutionary leader who then changed the face of politics in Tamil Nadu.

    Kangana, who has been open about several issues on a personal front, recently shared her experience working for Thalaivii. 

    She said she had to gain weight to essay the new role and had put on a whopping 20 kgs and then had to lose it as she had Dhaakad in the pipeline next. 
    She took to Instagram and shared her experience, adding the details about her journey. She also mentioned how the transformation left 'permanent stretch marks' on her body.

    Apart from that, to give Kangana the ideal look of Jayalalithaa, the makers hired Hollywood makeup artist Jason Collins who did impeccable work for movies such as Captain Marvel and Blade Runner 2049

    Thanks to the ever growing world of entertainment and social media, our sports stars have started occupying space on hoardings, OTT advertisements and are associated with selling shampoo to even a freaking apartment in Noida. 
    However, one space that remained unoccupied for a while was the music world, which has now been touched by none other than ‘Universe Boss’, Chris Gayle.  
    The legendary West Indies cricketer turned into a ‘Punjabi Daddy’ for his latest single.

    With a bright kurta, shining turban and a smashing dhoti, Chris looks like a ‘pind da munda’ in all aspects.  
    Naturally, his video is garnering a lot of reactions. 
    While some fans find it rather unbelievable that he pulled off something like this, others are jokingly coaxing him to change his name to 'Gayle Preet Singh'!

    During the pandemic, a lot of families struggled to make ends meet, many lost the sole bread earners and children were forced to leave school and start working to feed their families. 
    Even the businesses that flourished before shut during the pandemic, including small street food stalls.

    We are all aware of the ‘Baba Da Dhaba’ incident where an elderly couple from Delhi who owned a food stall had no customers to cater to post the lockdown. 

    It was a food blogger who coincidentally stumbled upon the Dhaba and shared not only the review of the food, but also urged his followers to help the elderly owners on his vlog.

    People hailed the power of social media which got the food stall thronging with people. Something similar happened recently in Ahmedabad, Gujarat where a teenage boy was selling dahi kachori for only Rs 10 to support his family.

    It was wholesome to see his food stall crammed with people who had come to buy his dahi kachoris after watching the video.

    While sharing the video, Parekh also tagged some celebrities from the state to come forward to help the boy financially. One of them was Gujrati media personality and RJ Aditi Raval who asked for the details of the boy in the comments.

    A young Indian diplomat Sneha Dubey delivered a powerful speech backed by strong facts at the UN in response to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan for bringing up the Kashmir issue and his statements about his country being a ‘victim’. Sneha, without hesitating, bashed the PM for ‘spewing falsehood’ about India in front of the world and spoke how Pakistan has been home to terrorists and the government has been training them as a part of their policy.
    She said, “Regrettably, this is not the first time the leader of Pakistan has misused platforms provided by the UN to propagate false and malicious propaganda against my country, and seeking in vain to divert the world's attention from the sad state of his country where terrorists enjoy free pass while the lives of ordinary people, especially those belonging to the minority communities, are turned upside down."

    She was lauded for her fearlessness back in India and it was quite obvious that journalists would have wanted to talk to her as she has been trending. Without respecting her space, Aaj Tak’s celebrated anchor Anjana Om Kashyap barged into her room to get a quote. Anjana invaded her privacy and even touched Dubey’s arms and said, “I know you don’t want to talk on record but if you can talk…because the whole country wants to hear you speak. What you did today at the UN might be routine work for you but it’s a huge thing for the country.”
    Dubey, who obviously didn’t appreciate Kashyap barging into her room, kept her calm and said, “I already said what I had to say…please.” She also folded her hands and asked her to leave. It was indeed a ‘polite’ way of saying that she doesn’t want to comment as it’s a matter of national concern. Sneha did roast her politely and the video has been trending on the internet.

    The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were up against defending champions Mumbai Indians in a high-octane clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Both sides had lost both their previous games since the start of the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 in the United Arab Emirates.
    With the tournament entering its business end, it was a crucial game for both the sides because any more hiccups could have serious implications on their side’s playoffs qualification chances.

    It wasn’t going to be an easy match and players from both teams were ready for the intense battle. In the end, the RCB players managed to hold their nerves better in crunch situations and went home with two points.

    The end result might suggest that RCB, who won the game by 54 runs, were the dominant side but it was far from it. The match was nothing short of a see-saw ride as the tide kept shifting throughout the game from one end to the other.

    The perfect example was the ninth over of RCB innings, which was full of events. 
    First, Hardik Pandya dropped Virat Kohli off Rahul Chahar’s bowling, then KS Bharat smacked him for a six on the very next ball, and finally, the leg-spinner had the last laugh as he sent Bharat packing on the penultimate ball of the over.

    After slog-sweeping Chahar for a six over deep mid-wicket, Bharat was so happy with his shot execution that he celebrated by throwing a punch in their air.

    The RCB batter was happy that he was able to execute the shot well and his fist pump was self-congratulatory and had nothing to do with who was bowling at the other end. Many believed that had there been any other bowler even then he would have celebrated in the same manner.
    However, Chahar’s action was completely aimed at the batter and he crossed the line with his overtly aggressive behaviour. Those arguing in Chahar’s favour must remember that this was not the first time he had reacted like this after dismissing a player.

    He had given a similar send-off to Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga during the second T20I match of the three-match series in the island nation. He was criticised back then as well.
    Interestingly, Hasaranga, who was on the receiving end of Chahar’s disgusting behaviour a couple of months back, was also in the RCB dugout watching things unfold from a fair distance.

    Akshay Kumar has several projects in his kitty this year. After the release of Bell Bottom, the actor left us impressed with his brilliant acting skills once again. 
    He has other movies like Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi re etc., in the pipeline too. 
    As for Sooryavanshi, an IPS officer RK Vij, recently, pointed out an apparent error in the behind-the-scenes pictures from the movie. 
    The actor shared the shot on Saturday, which also featured Ranveer Singh, Akshay, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.

    In the picture, they are all seen standing, and it looks like they are having a conversation. However, the IPS officer seemed to have found an irregularity in the picture.
    He said that the way Ranveer is sitting in the picture, given his designation in the movie Simmba, he wouldn't be allowed to sit like that in front of the senior officers.

    He replied, “Thank you for your response and respect you showed for the forces @akshaykumar My comment was also in a lighter vein Will definitely watch the film."
    Akshay also thanked Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who recently declared the reopening of theatres all over the state starting next month. 
    He said, "So many families would be thanking Sh Uddhav Thackeray today! Grateful for allowing the reopening of cinema halls in Maharashtra from Oct 22. Ab kisi ke roke na rukegi - AA RAHI HAI POLICE." He also added that Sooryavanshi would be released in Diwali along with Marvel Studio's Eternals.
    Theatres in Maharashtra were shut due to the Covid-19 situation. However, theatres will reopen soon, and many Bollywood films will now get a theatrical release.
