Johnny Grave says final decision will be taken after consultation with West Indies Players Association, team players

The Pakistan Cricket Board is in the middle of an absolute meltdown after New Zealand and England refused to tour the country for international series after security and safety concerns shook their confidence in the Pakistan security agencies.
The Black Caps were already in Islamabad and were about to head into the series against Babar Azam and his boys when New Zealand Cricket received a message threatening to place bombs in the team’s routes, hotels and even their flights. Unwilling to risk the lives of their cricketers, the NZ cricket board decided to call off their players.

Shortly after, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) also withdrew the men’s and women’s series.
In a virtual media interaction, PCB Chair Ramiz Raja further expressed his worries over West Indies and Australia also following suit and cancelling their respective tours of Pakistan citing similar reasoning.
All the England players likely to be available for IPL playoffs as ECB looks set to cancel their Pakistan tour.
— Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) September 17, 2021
"It’s the feeling of being used and then binned. That’s the feeling I have right now," Raja told reporters. “A little bit of hand-holding, a little bit of caring was needed after New Zealand pull out and we didn’t get that from England which is so frustrating.”
"We’ve been going out of our way to meet the international demands, being such a responsible member of the cricketing fraternity, and in return, we get a response from ECB saying the players were spooked by New Zealand’s withdrawal. What does that mean?" he asked.
Then came the press conference in which Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting in the Pakistan government, blamed India for the threats that were received by New Zealand which kickstarted the whole withdrawal process.
Enraged and frustrated with no teams willing to play in Pakistan, their fans and gurus have suggested boycotting Pakistan’s matches against India, England and New Zealand in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021.
Lets cancel our matches of world cup with india and new zealand at the last minutes.....on grounds of our choosing

Pakistan decision to give major jolt in upcoming world cup as in round matches pakistan to play against india
The advertistment companies and sponsors especially from India will surely receive a big blow
— Haris Zamir (@zamirharis) September 20, 2021You @TheRealPCB bunch of old people need to put your courage together and boycott all the upcoming matches with NZ including World Cup.
NZ hasn’t done anything for Pakistan so we don’t need to turn a deaf ear on this sport-diplomacy decision of NZ. #PakistanIsSafe
— Paindu (@LahoreWali_) September 17, 2021Pakistan shouldn’t play against New Zealand alps boycott first 2 matches of World Cup
— Suf1a999 (@SufianRaja11) September 17, 2021Pakistan should boycott all matches including World Cup…
— Tanzim (@tanzimbd10) September 17, 2021@TheRealPCB should boycott all the @BLACKCAPS matches for couple of years, including the world cup matches for damaging the image of Pakistan
— s.m.rayyan (@DevilsGaming46) September 18, 2021With the kind of struggle the PCB is going through just to bring teams to their grounds to play matches, boycotting World Cup games against three of the biggest teams may not be the most practical way of mending relationships. But then, with the kind of ‘Western agenda’ allegations Raja has levelled against SENA countries, the chances of restoring such relations don’t seem too good as it is.

The downside of being a star is that you are always in the limelight and even your personal life becomes a matter of national interest.
Who knows it better than actor Salman Khan who has been enjoying the spotlight for more than three decades now.
© Instagram/Salman Khan
Fans want to know everything about him starting from what he eats, how many push-ups he can do and more importantly who he is dating.
His love life has been the headlines of the biggest tabloids and his affairs the most unforgettable ones in Bollywood, although he remains single till date.
© Instagram/Salman Khan
The actor recently came clean and talked about the longest relationship he has had in his life.
Before you assume it to be another film actress, it is not. It’s the reality show Bigg Boss.
Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss since its fourth season and despite vowing to never come back again on the show every season, he always finds himself reuniting with it.
Shall we call it a toxic relationship? No, just kidding. He says it has brought certain 'permanence' in his life and has learnt a lot from the show.
© Instagram/Salman Khan
In a media event held for Bigg Boss 15 which will premiere next week, he talked about his relationship with the show.
"My relationship with Bigg Boss, this is perhaps my only relationship that has lasted this long. Some relationships, what do I say. Let it be. (But) Bigg Boss has brought certain permanence in my life. Though sometimes for those four months, we don't see eye to eye but when we are parting ways (after a season's end), we are desperate to reunite,” he said.

The show's theme is 'jungle' this year which reminded him (and all 90s kids the popular song from his movie. He said, “This season makes me remember the song - Jungle Hai Aadhi Raat Hai. Not Sultan wala Dangal. Not Dangal wala Dangal, but it will be a different Dangal. 250 cameras will be looking out for every movement in the jungle and will note even a leaf moving. Bigg Boss 15 can be five months long this time.”
© Instagram/Salman Khan
Talking about why he ends up coming back to host the show despite declaring every season that it is his last, he said, “I like the show. I get to learn a lot from the show. It tries my patience. Every time I lose my cool, I wish I hadn't lost it. Then I try harder (to be patient). But the show's format is such that something keeps happening and then I've to go and correct it. So you get to not only learn a lot but also meet so many new people, know their personalities.”

Well, no one hosts this show (read lashes out at contestants and sets them straight) better than him anyway. So, we are glad he comes back. We wish them a lifetime of togetherness, I guess?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who for a long time tackled the hurdles that came his way in the earlier stage of his career, has achieved massive success in Bollywood with his brilliant acting skills and also his choice of characters.
After numerous failed auditions, the actor was finally able to enter the glittering gates of Bollywood, and even though he started small, he never looked back.
Then came some of his best projects, which Anurag Kashyap gave, namely Black Friday, Gangs of Wasseypur, Raman Raghav 2.0.
He also worked in web series' and showcased his talents in Sacred Games, which instantly became a cult favourite among the audience.

Not just that, but Nawazuddin has also been a part of the international landscape too. He worked in a feature film titled No Land's Man and bagged a nomination at the Busan International Film festival, 2021, for the Kim Jiseok Award.
Talking about it he said, "Much like the boom in Iranian films that happened a few years ago, Korean cinema is at the top of their game right now. They are churning out some of the best films like Minari (2020). I’m happy that my film is going to Busan, a hub for Korean films.”

For the prestigious award at the BIFF, even Aparna Sen’s directorial, Rapist, will compete too.
Siddiqui said on this, "I was approached for the Rapist, but I couldn’t do it because of prior commitments. I hope either one of us wins. Aparna Sen is a wonderful director and I would like to congratulate her and her team."

The movie is set on a journey of a South Asian who meets an Australian woman, and his life gets complicated from thereon. The movie further talks about issues of fascism and identity issues that we often face. The film also has other actors, including Eisha Chopra, Tahsan Rahman Khan etc.
© Instagram/Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Nawazuddin considers it a 'big learning' and said, "In my web series McMafia, I worked with Israeli, British and American actors. In No Land’s Man, there’s an Australian actor opposite me, along with talents from China, Britain and America. It helps one understand their process of approaching a character.”
© Instagram/Nawazuddin Siddiqui
He also spoke about how doing an English movie is not a benchmark of success for him.
He added, “Doing an English feature film isn’t the benchmark of success for me. Some people think that buying a house is synonymous with success and for some, getting a break in the industry is success. For others, achieving superstardom amounts to success.”
© Instagram/Nawazuddin Siddiqui
When asked what being successful means to him? he concluded by saying, “These things don’t matter to me. If I’m able to project a certain emotion in the way I wanted it to in a particular scene, that becomes important."

Ramiz Raja, who was recently appointed the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has had a tough start to his administrative tenure.
Days after New Zealand returned home from Pakistan abandoning their limited-overs series even before it could start, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have also decided to call off their short tour.
"We can confirm that the Board has reluctantly decided to withdraw both teams from the October trip."
#PAKvENG
— England Cricket (@englandcricket) September 20, 2021
After the ECB’s announcement, the PCB chief expressed his disappointment in a video shared on his YouTube channel.
He blamed the “western bloc” comprising teams like England, New Zealand and Australia, for conspiring against Pakistan cricket.
“I am severely disappointed in England's withdrawal but it was expected because this western bloc gets united unfortunately and tries to back each other. So you can take any decision on the basis of security threat and perception. There was a sense of anger because first New Zealand got away without sharing information about the threat they were facing,” Ramiz Raja said on his YouTube channel ‘Ramiz Speaks’.
“Now, this [England] was expected but this is a lesson for us because we go out of our way to accommodate and pamper these sides when they visit. And when we go there, we undergo strict quarantines and we tolerate their admonishments, but there is a lesson in this. That is, that from now on we will only go as far as is in our interest.
© Twitter/Ramiz Raja
“We go in the World Cup now and where we had one team in our target - our neighbours [India], they now add two more teams - New Zealand and England. So pick up the strength and develop a mindset that we are not going to lose because you didn't do right by us with us and we will avenge that in the ground.”
The anger was clearly visible in his tone but he went a step too far ahead when he urged his players to make three teams India, New Zealand and England their primary target going into the 2021 T20 World Cup.
© Reuters
A piece of sane advice would have been to motivate his players to go and win the whole tournament and show the whole world that they are a top side in the world but rather than motivating his players to go for the glory he urged his players to make certain teams their target.
Mind you, it wasn’t coming from any random administrator, these words emanated from the mouth of the highest authority in Pakistan cricket and it clearly highlighted their narrow mindset and their restricted mentality.
© Reuters
Besides instigating his players to take revenge in the upcoming multi-nation tournament, there was one more thing that bothered fans, especially those on the other side of the border.
Indian supporters couldn’t understand how a cricket board chairman could even think of leveraging the ongoing crisis in his country for his personal gains, promoting his YouTube channel, in this case.
© YouTube/Ramiz Speaks
Ramiz Raja probably thinks cricket administration is a YouTube channel where speaking matters, lol.
Chaddest administrators never speak a word and they change the whole landscape of the game behind the scenes. https://t.co/1k1ZfTHkqG
— IPL 2021 (@iplthebest) September 24, 2021
“After becoming The Chairman of PCB, I thought now u will not do any match analysis,” wrote one user in the comments section.
“Ye Pakistani Cricketers YouTube nahi chod sakte kyoki PCB se jyada income to YouTube se hota hai, aur waise bhi jab Pakistan ka koi future nahi hai to PCB ka kaha se hoga,” commented another user.
© Reuters
Pakistan cricket has been hit hard by these two tour cancellations. It has left their players without any proper match practise ahead of a big tournament like T2 World Cup. As per Raza’s own admission, teams like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh were ready to send in their teams but he declined their offer… well because he doesn’t consider them worthy competitions.
If given a choice, there’s no doubt Pakistani players would have loved some sort of practice going into the tournament but their egoistic chairman is more interested in promoting his own YouTube channel through his self-appreciation videos.

Pakistan-born Australian cricket Usman Khawaja has made a controversial statement saying that none of the international teams would refuse to tour India if there was a terror threat brewing in the country while finding it extremely easy to say no to nations like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to Khawaja, the reason behind such a decision-making process is the kind of money involved while teams tour India.
Usman Khawaja has lamented the recent abandonment of cricket tours to Pakistan, ahead of Australia's slated tour there next year https://t.co/iRmmD35Id4
— cricket.com.au (@cricketcomau) September 23, 2021
"I feel it's very easy for players and organisations to say no to Pakistan, because it's Pakistan. I think the same thing would apply too, if it were Bangladesh. But nobody would say no to India, if they're in the same situation," Khawaja was quoted as saying by The Australian Associated Press.
"Money talks, we all know that, and that's probably a big part of it. They keep proving time and time again through their tournaments that they're a safe place to play cricket. I think there's no reason why we shouldn't go back," said the cricketer.
It's easy to target India for anything bad happens around in Asia.
Money talks but security matters.
India's security is far better.
Just reminding you of Mumbai attack when England walked away. This year's IPL and so on.
Talk but dont target India unnecessarily.
— shishir kumar (@2012_ricjy93) September 24, 2021
Khawaja’s comments follow the England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) decision to pull out of touring Pakistan mere days after New Zealand Cricket withdrew their players from the country citing credible security concerns. Cricketer Martin Guptil’s wife received death threats for her husband and intelligence agencies warned the Black Caps about a potential terror threat to their team.
With both New Zealand and England cancelling their tours of Pakistan, it has been a big blow for Pakistan’s attempt to bring back international cricket to their grounds. The recently appointed Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Rameez Raja, even expressed his disappointment with the incidents while saying that the PCB will not be insulted this way anymore.
PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja spoke with the foreign media a day after the England and Wales Cricket Board announced withdrawing their sides from next month’s tour of Pakistan.
The entire clip of his interaction is available here: https://t.co/jelbNxbBMZ pic.twitter.com/umhctceFMo
— Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) September 21, 2021
“Disappointed with England, pulling out of their commitment & failing a member of their Cricket fraternity when it needed it most. Survive we will inshallah. A wake up call for Pak team to become the best team in the world for teams to line up to play them without making excuses,” wrote the former cricketer.

— Government of Pakistan (@GovtofPakistan) September 22, 2021
Days after the two tours were called off, the Pakistan government ended up blaming India for the terror threat received by New Zealand players. According to the press conference held by Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister For Information & Broadcasting, Pakistan Government, a man named Om Prakash Mishra, a Mumbai resident, had threatened to place bombs in the Black Caps' hotels and flights.

Chris Pratt has been cast in the role of Mario in the upcoming animated movie by Nintendo. The news was announced at the Japanese company’s live event earlier this morning. The movie is being developed by the company Illumination and will feature all of the main characters from the popular video game series.
© Nintendo
Details about the new movie have not been revealed, however we do know that some of the major characters will be voiced by an A-list cast. Starring alongside Pratt will be Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco and Charles Martinet.

While people reacted positively to the announcement, many were disappointed that the original voice actor for Mario; Charles Martinet, was not cast for the role. Charles Martinet has been voicing Mario in Nintendo’s games since the 1990s and also voiced related characters such as Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.

Having said that, soon after the announcement, the internet was quick to react to the news expressing a range of emotions. Aside from the positive reactions, many took the opportunity to make some hilarious memes and jokes:

Following the announcement, Chris Pratt released a video of him imitating Mario. While in the video Pratt doesn’t really do a great job of impersonating Mario, we're not too worried about his performance in the animated movie.

When it comes to cricket, no player can continue to be in the best of forms every single time they head out to the pitch for their team or franchise. A similar situation took place in the 2021 Indian Premier League on Tuesday for Rajasthan Royals hitter Riyan Parag, who was dismissed for just four runs in five deliveries.
However, such an understanding often goes over the head of some overzealous fans who do not see reason and lack patience. Thanks to the availability of direct contact between players and fans with the help of tools like Twitter and Instagram, showing their frustration towards these players has become extremely easy for common folk.
Legendary Sunil Gavaskar remembers Dhoni after Riyan Parag's failed helicopter shot. pic.twitter.com/u7NSiLDBEK
— Shubham Shah (@Shubham41419985) September 22, 2021Riyan Parag is big loser in royals squad. Just after bowling one legal delivery, trying fancy things as if RR in comfortable position in the game. In first innings, his fancy helicopter shot caused downfall of Rajasthan in the game !!
— Mathmagician (@NaniPruthviraj) September 21, 2021Riyan Parag ko helicopter shot try nahi karna tha, wo keval ek hi legend khel sakta hai, naam to suna hi hoga
— ️️ ️️ ️️ ️️ (@Extra__Cover) September 21, 2021 Another disappointing drawback of such a level of communication is that all the criticism is not only accessible to the players but also to their family members. While players sometimes respond to their critics and shut them up for good, their family members often refrain from doing so.
So after Parag had to walk back after an early dismissal, his Twitter handle was buzzing with trolls who were simply there to criticise him for getting out early, refusing to see the kind of hard work he has been putting into getting better at his craft every single day.

— SHASHANK (@IBeingShashank) September 21, 2021 But it wasn’t just Parag who saw the negative comments, it was his mother as well and she immediately knew that her little boy needed her support. Since Parag is in the United Arab Emirates, inside a completely sealed bio bubble, it was not possible for the mother and son to meet.
So, all she could do was send a simple message on WhatsApp, and based on the reaction Parag has had, it is safe to say that that message did its work just fine.

“How are you doing baba? Don’t stop believing in your abilities,” she wrote in her text in the screenshot that was shared by the young cricketer on his Twitter handle. “Maaaa. She knows. Always,” Parag wrote in the caption.
It didn’t take long for the supporters to show up on his Twitter thread and compliment the mother-son duo for sharing such a heartwarming moment.

MX Player brings viewers PM Narendra Modi, an inspirational tale that recounts the journey of our current Prime Minister. The movie highlights the struggle and strife as he transcended into an enigmatic political personality and a visionary leader.
Helmed together by Mary Kom director Omung Kumar, PM Narendra Modi is an intriguing biopic with undertones of significant real-life events.
The movie stars Vivek Oberoi in the titular role. And it’s commendable to note how the actor has attempted to mirror PM Modi’s mannerisms down to his starched attire.
The movie follows PM Modi’s journey from his early days in politics to his first big political victory as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
“I have immense respect for our Prime Minister, and it was an honour to have been given an opportunity to be able to tell his story to the world, through cinema. It traces Modi Ji’s journey from his modest origins to his historic victory as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and eventually his nomination as the Prime Minister of India. I feel immense pleasure that this inspirational story will now have a wider reach with the release on MX Player”, said Vivek Oberoi.
MX Player
Besides Vivek, the movie also has a strong and talented ensemble that includes names like Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht, and Manoj Joshi.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) launched the T20 World Cup 2021 anthem on Thursday which is titled ‘Live The Game’ and it features some of the top players from all over the world, including Indian captain Virat Kohli, former Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan, Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and West Indies great Kieron Pollard.
However, there was one problem with the video which seems to be causing a lot of mixed reactions in the global cricket community. The majority of the video is animated and the players mentioned above have been turned into cartoon characters. This annoyed a lot of the fans who even compared the video of some of the other famous cartoon shows such as Pokemon and games such as Stick Cricket.
Initially it looked like a Pokémon theme for me #ICCT20WorldCup2021 https://t.co/lGOOYh5a28

— Shehryar (@shehrryaar) September 23, 2021 Another problem that people found was that the anthem in itself wasn’t as good as some of the previous anthems have been for various ICC tournaments in the past. Some felt that the T20 World Cup 2014 continues to be the most catchy song in cricketing history, while others feel it is the World Cup 2011 anthem ‘De Ghuma Ke’ composed by the legendary Indian musical trio of Shankar-Ehsan-Loy which remains undefeated.
Thankfully, there were a lot of the fans who genuinely liked the whole concept and found the anthem very entertaining as well.

— Shilpa Udayan (@shilpa_udayan) September 23, 2021 Given the extremely difficult conditions, thanks to the global pandemic and the extremely tight schedules that are being followed by some of the top cricket teams in the world at the moment, it is understandable that ICC’s media team did not get the opportunity to specifically shoot video footage with the respective cricket stars. Considering the practicality of these issues, it can be said that they did a great job creating the anthem.
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin on October 17, 2021, which is just two days after the final match of the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League. Most of the world-class players will already be in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where the World Cup will be hosted by India.
