    An actor has to be fit and mould his body according to the role he plays. There have been many actors who have gained and lost weight, become bulky or lean as the role demanded and sometimes, it has even been for the same film that required them to transform their bodies in a matter of a few months. 
    Arshad Warsi is the latest to be added to this list.

    The actor has never had a muscular body, nor did he ever go through an impressive physical transformation for a role before. However, he is now gearing up for ‘a new project’ and getting fitter and more muscular. 

    He shared a photo of his unbelievable transformation on his social media account. He wrote in the caption, “Long way to go, but getting in shape for my next project.”

    In the photo, he looks fitter than ever and ripped. His biceps are big and bulky, his chest is huge and he has definitely lost some extra kilos. 

    It is evident that he is working out hard and eating right to fit in the character he is preparing for.

    Fans couldn't believe the impressive transformation and even compared his body to that of WWE wrestling champion John Cena’s. A user wrote, “Aisi body to John cena ki bhi nhi hai sir ji (Even John Cena doesn’t have such a physique, sir).”

    Although the actor didn't reveal which project he was preparing for, many speculated that he was beefing up for the second season of  Voot web series Asur. 

    “Lgta h sir is baar ASUR se direct hand to hand combat krenge (Seems like this time Sir will have a hand-to-hand combat with Asura),” a user wrote.

    Bollywood celebrities also hyped up the actor and lauded his unbelievable transformation in the comments. 

    Actor Ranveer Singh said, “Come onnnnn get ittttt” while Riteish Deshmukh, who was his costar in the movie Dhamaal,  wrote, “Incredible - wow.” Another actor Ashish Chowdhary wrote, “Whadddyaaaa sayinnn my brother Arrrrshaddd!! Looking gooood..”

    Virat Kohli is perhaps going through the toughest phase in his career. If his struggles on the field were not enough, the Indian talisman has to also deal with off-field drama, especially in the last few days.
    It’s not hard to understand that through constant media leaks, there is a sincere attempt to tarnish his image as a leader and present him as someone who is not good enough to lead India to a major ICC title and they have, somewhat, succeeded in their attempt. 
    A couple of days back, Kohli shocked the whole world by announcing that the 2021 T20 World Cup will be his last assignment as a skipper in the shortest format.

    It’s hard to believe that the constant speculations about his limited-overs captaincy over the last few days didn’t play on his mind at all while he was making such a huge decision. It’s hard to believe that the reports claiming he captaincy was under threat if he didn’t deliver the ICC trophy this time around didn’t play any role in his resignation.

    Kohli was wrong in thinking that offering his resignation will bring this tussle to an end because the rumour mill is in overdrive even after he has stepped down and it’s not a good thing for Indian cricket.
    But the question is, who is to blame for all this mess that is currently going on in Indian cricket? Who else but BCCI!

    You know what the worst part is? It’s all happening when we have former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly holding the most significant administrative position in Indian cricket. As the BCCI president, we would have loved to see him shutting down all rumours and telling Kohli that he had nothing to worry about.

    Being the BCCI chief, it was Ganguly’s responsibility to address the issue but he has failed to do that. It has come to the level that now his silence is also maligning his legacy as an administrator, with people now asking questions about him.

    It has become a huge talking point on social media as well and fans are not loving the manner in which the BCCI is treating one of its most valuable assets, not only on the field but off it as well.
    People are fed up of reading reports showing Kohli in the bad light and making him a scapegoat for everything that’s going wrong in Indian cricket at present. 
    I don't think any other cricket board would have allowed such trash and rumours to be written about their best batsman, and their best test captain who's given such great results. The least that board can do at the moment is come out in defence of Kohli.

    Captaining the Indian cricket team is one of the most difficult jobs in the country as expectations are sky-high all the time, and to succeed it’s important that the whole machinery, from the administration to the backroom staff to the dressing everyone is standing behind the skipper, lending him their support but looks like Kohli has been left alone to fight this battle all by himself. 

    Kohli is always blamed for stealing the credit for Team India’s victories, which we totally understand because it’s a team sport and each and every player works equally hard to win the match for the country and they all deserve equal praise.  
    By this very same logic, how fair is it to blame Kohli every time India finishes on the wrong side of the result? Why do we blame only him for India’s failure to win ICC titles in the last few years? 
    By approving of Kohli’s removal from T20 captaincy, Ganguly, in a way, has approved of the common perception that his captaincy was the reason why India couldn’t win any ICC titles in the last few years.

    Kohli is a champion player. He might be going through a tough phase but he definitely knows how to bounce back and prove his critics wrong and we have no doubt he will do that. 

    As for Ganguly, all cricket fans loved his aggression on the field. The way he supported his players through thick and thin as the leader of the side was simply outstanding. It would have been nice to see him get behind Kohli the same way.

    Recently, I decided to re-watch Salaam Namaste as it used to be one of my favourites back in the time when it was released. However, if you re-watch a film after such a long time, you tend to see things with a different lens. Also, that’s part of growing up. Most of the films that I re-watch now seem problematic in today’s time as the things around us are constantly changing and it only makes us wonder, ‘why didn’t we think of this earlier?’

    The film was about showcasing live-in relationships and was released in 2005 and live-in is still considered a taboo in India. 
    This film was said to be modern and progressive but honestly, this so-called ‘woke’ film was a complete disaster and sent an extremely wrong message.

    Here’s how-

    Enabling A Man-Child Saif Ali Khan’s character Nikhil or Nick is a classic man-child. He never wakes up on time, parties, and drinks and doesn’t even maintain any hygiene. He has a phobia from looking at blood and the film tries to make it cute for the audience. 
    Nick’s Attitude For Getting An Abortion & Childbirth Is Pathetic When it is time for Ambar (Preity Zinta)) to get an abortion, Nick trivialises her condition and doesn’t go in for the abortion. Saying that “You know hospitals and me.” 
    He is extremely casual and it makes me sick. 

    Nick’s Character Is What Some Men Really AreIt’s not like Nick’s character is fictional, we come across men like him regularly. Nikhil is that man who initiates a relationship he’s incapable of maintaining.
    They Are Both Fixing A Toxic RelationshipThey were constantly trying to fix a toxic relationship that wasn’t nurturing in the first place. After going through so much suffering, Preity Zinta gets back with Saif Ali Khan.

    The next month’s T20 World Cup will be Virat Kohli’s last assignment as a skipper in the shortest format. Kohli dropped the bombshell a couple of days back but it was a long time coming.

    More than the decision the whole world was surprised by the timing of his decision. 
    But those in BCCI’s inner circles knew that it was almost inevitable as the discussions regarding the split-captaincy were going on for the last six months.

    Announcing his decision via a social media post, Kohli argued that he decided to step down in order to manage his workload but not many believed him. 

    Experts like Sunil Gavaskar felt that Kohli made the decision because he knew that the BCCI would sack him if India failed to bring home the T20 World Cup.
    The BCCI and the selectors are yet to announce their decision but there seems to be a common consensus that Rohit Sharma is the front-runner to replace Kohli. 
    Rohit has been part of India’s leadership group for a long time and commands a respect within the dressing room that only a few players do.

    And when you’re the most successful captain in the history of the world’s toughest T20 league, it makes your case even stronger. Rohit has guided Mumbai Indians to five titles in the last eight years and that speaks volumes of his credibility as a captain.

    While there is still some time left for him to take charge formally, Rohit has already started calling the shots. If you closely analyse the players picked in the T20 World Cup squad, you would realise it had Rohit’s stamp all over it.
    Here are 3 decisions that indicate Rohit’s choices were preferred to Kohli’s during the T20 World Cup squad selection meeting:

    Ravichandran Ashwin hasn’t featured in India’s white-ball squad for the last four years, so, obviously, everyone was surprised to see him back in the side, that too for a big tournament like the T20 World Cup.

    As per a report published in TOI, Ashwin wasn’t Kohli’s first-choice off-spinner, he was keener on having Washington Sundar in the team instead.
    But Rohit advocated for the veteran off-spinner’s inclusion saying his experience and variations would prove to be a big asset for Team India on the slow and turning tracks in the UAE.
    Rohit’s argument convinced the selectors as well as Kohli and paved the way for Ashwin’s comeback to the limited-overs set-up.

    Out of 15 players who are part of the T20 World Cup squad, six players play franchise cricket for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. 

    While Rohit, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav were a no-brainer, it was the selection of youngsters like Ishan Kishan and Rahul Chahar that rolled eyeballs and indicated how little saying Kohli had in the team selection.

    Yuzvendra Chahal has been playing under Virat Kohli, for both franchise and country, for a long time and nobody expected him to be left out from the squad.

    Chahal has been Kohli’s go-to-man at RCB, whenever he needed a wicket he would throw the ball towards the leg-spinner and more often than not, he would deliver.
    The fact that selectors picked relatively inexperienced Rahul Chahar, who plays under Rohit for Mumbai Indians wasn’t just a coincidence. It highlights his rising status within the dressing room.
    Let’s make one thing clear, Chahar has performed well in whatever opportunities he has got but Chahal has been India’s best T20 spinner for so many years and it’s hard to believe Kohli was happy with his exclusion.

    While he was going all out to help people in need, some wondered where he was getting so much money and funds from to spend so generously. 

    While many said that it was smart investing and savings, others said it was hard work he had put in for years in one of the most money-making industries- Bollywood.

    A few days ago, Sonu Sood’s various properties were searched by the Income Tax Department including his Mumbai home and 28 other locations (Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurugram) linked to him for three days in a row. The actor was also questioned by the I-T officials regarding the same.

    After three days of search, the Income Tax department said on Saturday that the actor is involved in tax evasion of over Rs 20 crore. 

    “During the course of search at the premises of #SonuSood and his associates, incriminating evidence pertaining to tax evasion has been found. The main modus operandi followed by @SonuSood had been to route his unaccounted income in form of bogus unsecured loans from many bogus entities,” said the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in a statement.

    Meanwhile, Twitter is divided over this major development. 

    While some are surprised and wondering if the ‘messiah of the poor’ has in fact done an income tax fraud, others think he is being targeted because he tried to do some good in society.

    This comes after Sonu met AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a few days ago and speculations of him joining the party surfaced. Although Sood brushed off any such plans, his fans think that this is political propaganda against him.    
    How dare Sonu sood to take away Modi’s credit by doing expectedly amazing work in the time of crisis and to set up an example on how a govt should’ve worked.?

    And then becoming brand ambassador for delhi govt.

    Rakhi Sawant is many things but she is not someone who is going to keep silent if her name is dragged or wrongfully used as an insulting remark, even if it’s a powerful political leader.

    AAP leader Raghav Chadha recently made a very sexist comment on Navjot Singh Sidhu and unnecessarily dragged the actress in their brawl. 

    He called the Congress MLA the ‘Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics’ after he had made a statement criticising the AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over farm reforms. 
    Chadha had no business bringing a woman’s name into the political war and is being heavily criticised for the same.

    Rakhi Sawant also responded to the statement in her own way. 

    “Raghav Chadha, stay away from me and my name. Jo Mr Chadha ho na, mera naam loge toh tumhara chadha utaar dungi". She added “Mr Chadha, aap khud dekhiye aapko mere naam ki zaroorat padd gaye trending mein aane ke liye. Toh aap socho main kaise trending mein rehti hoon (Mr Chadha, you had to use my name to trend on social media. So, think about how I trend almost every other day).”

    Many television celebrities like Kavita Kaushik and also came in support of entertainer and actress Sawant. They condemned Chadha’s comment for his comment, saying she is a self-made woman and it would be a compliment to compare anyone to her.

    Rakhi Sawant is trending on Twitter right now while Raghav Chadha is getting slammed for using a woman’s name in their political banter, which was extremely unnecessary. 

    Navjot Singh Sidhu also tweeted in response to his comment. “They say man descended from the apes and the monkeys, Looking at your mind @raghav_chadha I believe you are still descending !, he wrote”

    Rakhi Sawant has nothing to do with the row of the two political parties and Raghav Chadha should not have involved a woman’s name in their mud-slinging. This speaks of pure misogyny and nothing else. Rakhi is happy she is trending, though.
