A couple of months earlier, we got to witness the story of Harshad Mehta who committed one of the biggest banking frauds in India and Pratik Gandhi gave life to the character in the show directed by Hansal Mehta. Now, Abundantia Entertainment is planning a multi-season series on fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi.
The production house has acquired the rights of journalist, Pavan C Lall’s book Flawed: The Rise and Fall of India's Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi. Modi is wanted in India for one of the biggest banking scams. He allegedly defrauded Punjab National Bank out of an estimated $2 billion. The book is based on personal encounters, incisive interviews, and meticulous research conducted by the journalist. It will be interesting to see how the web show will unfold the entire case and present it in front of the viewers.
Talking about the series, Pavan C Lall said, “It is an extremely exciting opportunity, and I am thrilled to be a part of this book-to-screen adaptation journey. Capturing the sensibility of a book in a cinematic way is not a simple task but I have full faith in Abundantia Entertainment and believe that they will do complete justice to this endeavour and give Flawed the appropriate visual mounting. The book is my effort to bring to the audience the tale of a larger-than-life entrepreneur - his spectacular rise and equally dramatic fall which brought an entire industry to its knees.”
While more details are awaited, we have a few names in mind who we think can play Nirav Modi on the big screen.
Pankaj Tripathi  View this post on Instagram
We genuinely feel that Pankaj Tripathi is the right fit for the role as he can play Nirav Modi with utmost conviction. He is one of the few actors who can add shades of realism into his acting. He has proven time and again that he is a versatile actor. And we have no doubt over whether he'll be able to pull off the role of Nirav Modi.
Manoj Bajpayee View this post on Instagram
Manoj Bajpayee is never bogged down by the idea of playing the smallest of the characters in a film because he believes in making an impact and not the length of the role. In the industry where the idea of being a star has always been given importance, Manoj proved that talent can take you much furhter. We truly think he can play the part with perfection.
Rajkummar Rao  View this post on Instagram
In his entire career span, Rajkummar Rao has truly stood out as a versatile actor. From being a boy next door in Stree to playing Subash Chandra Bose, Rajkummar has given praiseworthy performances that prove the fact he is the king of versatility. We think he too could be the perfect choice to play the role.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan met for the first time in 1999 for a photoshoot of their first film together - Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (which was released in 2000). This year, they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary and have been giving us major relationship goals.

Abhishek took to Twitter to respond to a picture that’s been doing the rounds on social media. The picture in question shows Abhishek and Aishwarya smiling on their wedding day. Sharing this picture, the fan wrote, “Her laugh n his Smile say it all #MyLovelies #AbhishekBachchan #AishwaryaRaiBachchan #TBThursday.” However, Abhishek later pointed out that the picture was morphed.

Well, the clarification wasn’t enough for the fans of the couple as they wanted Abhishek to share more pictures of their wedding since there aren’t many available online.

    Here’s how fans reacted:

Abhishek has always given credit to his wife, Aishwarya for putting things in perspective for him. In an interview, Abhishek said that it was during the lockdown, Aishwarya reminded him that he has much to be grateful for. "We are so busy chasing material things, that we forget what's really important," he said.
Abhishek told Bollywood Bubble, "I'm always asked, 'What did you do during the lockdown?' Some people learned to cook, some people have picked up a new language... I was speaking to my wife about this, and as all wives do, they put your lives into focus, and put you back on track."

He continued, "She said, 'For the first time in your life, you got to spend an entire year with your family, and your family is safe and healthy today.' And when she said that, apart from being appreciative of having such a wonderful and sensible wife, it's so true. We get to do what we love doing all day, and go home to a healthy and happy family."
Fans have been wanting to see the two on the big screen for a while now. We hope the couple soon updates us about the same.

The New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan has come to an end even before it could start.
The Blackcaps have decided to abandon the tour following a “security alert” released by the New Zealand government.
The BLACKCAPS are abandoning their tour of Pakistan following a New Zealand government security alert.

Arrangements are now being made for the team’s departure.

The white-ball series, comprising three ODIs and five T20Is was scheduled to begin on Friday (September 17) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium but the whole tour was called off in the 11th hour over security issues, just minutes before the scheduled toss for the first ODI.
“Following an escalation in the New Zealand Government threat levels for Pakistan, and advice from NZC security advisors on the ground, it has been decided the Blackcaps will not continue with the tour. Arrangements are now being made for the team's departure,” the New Zealand Cricket said in a media statement.

David White, the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) chief executive, said that players’ security was paramount and that is why they took the decision to call off the tour after being informed about a security threat by their country’s government.
“I understand this will be a blow for the PCB, who have been wonderful hosts, but player safety is paramount and we believe this is the only responsible option,” White said in a NZC press release.

The Pakistani fans, who were excited to see live cricket, obviously slammed the touring party’s decision to unilaterally cancel the tour. And as usual, some of the disgruntled supporters even lashed out at India and blamed them for this cancellation.

It soon turned into an ugly fight between the supporters of the two countries on the micro-blogging site.
    Pakistanis listen up.

Don't throw hate at the Kiwis.

They were put in a position they ultimately weren't comfortable with and made a difficult call. Their lens isn't the same as your lens.

Remember they made the effort to travel in the first place.

    — Pihu (@Pihu54611668) September 17, 2021 Pakistani fans must understand that they look like fools when they blame India for anything that goes wrong in their country. Instead of asking their own cricket board and government about the security threat, they waste their energy targeting India -- just like their political leaders do.
We know how passionate Pakistani people are about cricket and we do not wish for anyone to be deprived of watching their cricketers play in front of them.

However, the reason why the teams are hesitant in visiting Pakistan is because they are afraid of their safety and we can’t blame them for that.
The tour was historic in so many ways. The Kiwis had travelled to Pakistan for the first time in 18 years. The Pakistan Cricket Board had a lot riding on the successful completion of this limited-overs series but it all came to a disappointing end.

This cancellation could mean that other teams like England and Australia, who were to visit Pakistan in the next one year or so, might think twice before touring the country.
