Kareena KapoorΒ and cousin Ranbir Kapoor appeared onΒ Koffee With KaranΒ together in 2013. On the show,Β RanbirΒ suggested that Kareena hid some of her relationships from media and his revelation left her stumped.
She responded by saying that she had been open about most of her relationships.
On the couch, Kareena Kapoor ended up revealing that Ranbir was in a relationship with Katrina Kaif at the time. To which he said that he was aware that this subject will come up and he is prepared with an answer.
He said that he is not comfortable sharing his personal life and added that he is in a good place both professionally and personally.Β
Ranbir further said, β€œI also spoke about my personal life when I started out in the film industry and I think it just got a bit too much to handle because it kind of comes before your work. And also because I am not married, there are other false rumors that come besides it. Having said that, I don’t know if she has spoken about every relationship of hers.”
Kareena said, β€œMost of my relationships,” to which Ranbir responded saying, β€œMost. Exactly.”
She then asked what he was trying to say and he responded by saying that he was β€˜just asking’. β€œBehave yourself, haan,” she warned him.Β

Karan Johar said that Ranbir might have some β€˜scandalous information’ about Kareena, to which she replied, β€œListen, I have been really nice, my answer was fabulous. You want me to start talking? Just wait.”
And then Ranbir called Kareena his β€˜role model’, in order to keep her quiet, but that only seemed to push her buttons. β€œListen, that’s it. Just start, come on,” she told Karan.

On Thursday evening, Virat Kohli declared that he was going to step down as the captainΒ of the Indian cricket team in the T20I format of the game after the T20 World Cup 2021 would conclude. However, he has maintained that he will remain in authority for the two other formats.
The major reason Kohli gave behind taking this decision was so that he could focus more actively on simply being a better batsman while not having to take any kind of captaincy-related pressure on his shoulders.

Many, including former England skipper Michael Vaughan, congratulated the 32-year-old batsman on this decision and even called it unselfish. The general feeling towards such a big step has critics applauding the batsman while his fans are somewhat heartbroken.
However, within hours of Kohli announcing his post-T20 World Cup retirement on Instagram, a BCCI official commented on this move while suggesting that it may not be as voluntary as many would hope for it to be. The official also said that due to his struggles as a player, Kohli was going to lose his captaincy regardless.

"Virat knew that he would have been removed from white ball captaincy. If the team doesn't do well at the UAE World T20, he was gone for good as far as white-ball leadership is concerned," a BCCI insider, in the know of things, told PTI.
"He just reduced a bit of pressure on himself as it would seem that he is there on his own terms. It might not happen for 50 overs if the performance in T20 hits a downward spiral," he said.Β
Essentially, one should not be surprised if Kohli ends up losing his captaincy in ODIs as well and may only be trusted with the reigns in the longest format of the game.

After reports of Kohli’s captaincy being taken away from him after the T20 World Cup were leaked last week, some of the senior members of the Indian cricket board tried covering it up by diverting the audience’s attention towards the upcoming tournament in the shortest format of the game.
However, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal had rubbished these reports a couple of days ago when he said: β€œThis is all rubbish. Nothing (as) such is happening. This is all what you guys (media) are talking about. BCCI has not met or discussed anything on this issue (split captaincy). Virat will remain as the captain (of all formats).”

Even BCCI secretary Jay Shah tried pulling the curtains on these rumours. β€œThere is no such proposal and the team is led by Virat and we are backing him,” Shah had said.
