Malaika Arora recently shared a steamy hot throwback dancing video in which she danced to the song Binte Din from Padmavat. In the video, she can be seen twerking. The song is sung by Arijit Singh.
She then shared it to her Instagram stories with a hashtag and wrote ‘IBDTHROWBACK’.
The clip showed Malaika dressed in a black gown and attempts to belly dance for the first time and eventually twerks on the song. Choreographer Geeta Kapur can be seen as surprised at her moves but laughed along.
Malaika carved a niche for herself in the industry by performing special dance numbers over the years. Recently, she also danced with her sister Amrita Arora for a video on Instagram.

The sisters were seen dancing and matched steps on the song Touch It by KiDi. The video showed Amrita giving her sister a push out of the frame.
Malaika has been in the news for the last few years for her fitness and yoga videos, her appearance as a judge on various reality shows, and her relationship with Arjun Kapoor.
The couple is often seen on each other’s Instagram pages.
She recently told Indian Express after her son Arhaan left for his higher studies, “It’s definitely difficult and I am still trying to get used to him not being around. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.”
Earlier, she had also mentioned that she asked her son to utilise his time better after his school ended last year.
He took a break before he continued his higher studies. She said, "I was clear that even if he does that, he should use his time well. I told him that he has to engage in various things, learn something new and not sit around wasting his time."

Virat Kohli’s failure to lead the Indian cricket team to an ICC trophy has been a major roadblock in his captaincy career for quite some time now. When MS Dhoni departed, everyone expected Kohli to carry forward his legacy, under whom India bagged three ICC titles in six years between 2007 and 2013 (T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and Champions Trophy).
The Reunion we all have been waiting for @msdhoni returns to mentor #TeamIndia for the #T20WorldCup

How excited are you to see him back? pic.twitter.com/znPWBLeYNo
    — BCCI (@BCCI) September 8, 2021
To be fair, under Kohli’s leadership Team India has performed exceedingly well across formats, both home and away, but his failure to deliver an ICC trophy has overshadowed all his achievements.

The fact that the BCCI roped in MS Dhoni as a mentor for the T20 World Cup only goes on to show how desperately the selectors want India to end this eight-year long title drought and the reports are suggesting that Kohli might enter the marquee tournament with his white-ball captaincy on the line.

In fact, the BCCI top brass was not happy with Kohli’s team selection for the WTC final. In a meeting held in July after India lost the inaugural WTC final to New Zealand, BCCI top office bearers, including president Sourav Ganguly, secretary Jay Shah, and vice-president Rajeev Shukla, weren’t happy with Kohli’s idea of going in with two spinners, ignoring the overcast conditions in Southampton.

“The BCCI is deeply concerned about Virat Kohli’s captaincy, especially in the ICC tournaments because of his failure as a captain in the ICC events. In a meeting held by the BCCI office-bearers in July after the WTC Final, it emerged that a lot of BCCI officials are unsatisfied with Virat’s captaincy,” read a report in cricketaddictor.com.

“The decision to go ahead with 2 spinners in the WTC Final didn’t go too well with the BCCI officials and hence, it was discussed that the T20 World Cup can be the last opportunity for Virat Kohli, especially in the limited-overs format,” it added.

Not just the Indian team, Kohli hasn’t won any title with his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore and many argue he does not know how to win trophies. On the other hand, his current white-ball deputy Rohit Sharma has won a record five IPL titles with Mumbai Indians and many feel he is better-suited to lead the side, at least in limited-overs cricket.

Ever since India lost the WTC final, fans have been demanding Kohli’s removal and if indeed he returns empty-handed from the UAE, this noise to sack him will escalate to a whole new level. If selectors decide to move away from Kohli in white-ball cricket, then Rohit is the front-runner to replace him.

It’s time that Kohli realises that winning titles is perhaps the most important thing in any team sport as this is what determines a player’s legacy. The reason why people love Dhoni so much is because he won trophies.

For many years, Argentine great Lionel Messi had to cope with severe criticism for not winning a major title with his national team. But he finally shut them down by winning Copa America a couple of months ago and Kohli also knows that the clock is ticking fast and he needs to deliver silverware to save his job.

When it comes to work, there’s a certain notion that it is unmanly for men to be contributing to household chores. Somehow the thought of doing unpaid labour seems disconcerting to some. But is it necessary for a man’s worth to be dependent solely on their ability to contribute financially to the household?
Over the years we’ve grown accustomed to seeing only women in the kitchen, which is an issue in itself as it unjustly resigns the role of household chores to them; a harmful stereotype that needs to be overcome.
We caught up with a few men who were comfortable breaking that mould in their lives. Whether you want to call them ‘Househusbands’, ‘Homemakers’ or whatever else you want to, these men aren’t afraid to get their hands messy.
Here are seven desi men talking about their experiences as home makers and house husbands:
“I never felt that compulsion, honestly. In my family, it’s always been my mother and aunts who have worked... who have been the breadwinners. Growing up I anyway did ghar ka saara kaam. Became quite good at it. And Payal* honestly isn’t that great at all this, especially cooking. Can’t take it. So I decided to make the house my arena. It works out well both ways. ”  - Vishal*, 29

“We’re financially secure, even on Surabhi’s income. That kind of money comes with its own responsibilities. As did my previous job. And even though after Amyrah happened, I wanted to play a more active role as the caretaker, I still feel homemaking has felt more natural to me than anything else. And I still feel the manliest I’ve ever felt.” Lokesh*, 41

“Lost my job last year. Haven’t really been doing that well ever since, you know? I don’t think I ever imagined myself as a “House husband”, but just someone holding fort for now. At least until I feel a little more confident. Yash* has been extremely supportive about this. Who knows what’ll happen in the future?.” - Rohit*, 33

“The concept of a homemaker is difficult to accept sometimes. I always thought I’d be the breadwinner, the responsible adult. But it turned out to be too much pressure that I never signed up for.  At times I feel such terms can be repulsive to hear for some men.” - Prosenjit*, 26

“I keep getting to hear unsolicited remarks on who’s ‘wearing the pants’ in our relationship. After 3 years of homemaking it stops really mattering you know? Who says men can’t be house husbands or homemakers or whatever you wanna call it?  My house is way more functional than any of theirs. And I’m damn proud of the fact that I’ve contributed to that in my way as a homemaker. Just because house work isn’t  considered paid work doesn’t mean it isn’t actual effort. Whether it be my mom, or now me. we’re keeping our homes safe, clean, happy and well fed. That reminds me, you try this risotto I made for Ankita last week. It’ll blow your mind!” - Subhash*, 31

“Most of my work had become from-home anyway, and freelance projects stopped being consistent a long time back. So logically it came to a place where Sandra and I spoke about the entire scene. Her work has different demands from mine and I realised I was spending way too much time waiting around for work to come in. That started taking a toll on my self esteem. It was difficult at first… and it still is sometimes. But now I’m far more comfortable with the routine. There are people who make fun of me for it, Sandra’s annoying aunt keeps commenting on it. Ab whenever I’m washing the dishes I just imagine it’s her irritating face and take out the frustration. Kaam bhi ho jaata hai aur sukoon bhi milta hai.” - Amitoj*, 31

“I’m still new to being called a homemaker. However it did get me in touch with my secret love for cooking. For instance, I never knew that I’d be this good at making dal makhani. My friends and family used to find the fact that I was chill being a house husband pretty weird. But when they tasted the food I cooked, they shut up. I’m thinking I’ll just start an Instagram page for my dishes. Wait a minute, if a brand sponsors, will it mean that I won’t be a house husband anymore?” - Kunal* 26

We’re just glad to see more men are expressing themselves in ways that were previously uncommon. Would you be willing to consider homemaking as an alternative? Do let us know in the comments!
