    Earlier today, the official Twitter handle of the Royal Challengers Bangalore was rumoured to be hacked after a peculiar tweet was shared from the account while replying to billionaire Elon Musk’s picture of his pet dog.

    Later in the day, the Indian Premier League franchise confirmed the suspicions and accepted the fact that their account was indeed “compromised”. The team management also issued an apology for any kind of inconvenience this little stunt would have caused to anyone.

    “Dear 12th Man Army, our Twitter account was compromised a few hours ago and we have now managed to get the access back. We condemn the tweet that the hackers put out and we do not endorse any content from that tweet, which we have now deleted. We regret the inconvenience caused,” RCB’s official Twitter account shared from their handle.
    The only problem was that the hacker turned out to be extremely boring and the only thing that he did was replying to Musk sharing the picture of his dog. And even the reply spoke about how Musk’s automobile company Tesla got $1.5 billion in environmental subsidies back in 2020.
    RCB fans and their followers are rather disappointed with the hacker’s efforts after they got access to the team’s account. Instead of sharing funny jokes or rumours about their cricketers, all the intruder did was remove their account’s profile picture and write a nerdy reply to Musk’s tweet.

Overall, 31 matches are to be held in the UAE spread across Dubai (13), Abu Dhabi (8) and Sharjah (10).
    After the breach of the bio-bubble earlier this year in April, the BCCI has also come up with a 46-page health advisory that everyone in the league - from groundsmen to the captains of the eight franchises will have to follow in order to maintain the smooth execution of the remainder of the tournament, keeping in mind the COVID-19 risk.

    The trailer of Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan starrer Shiddat is out now and before we dive into our first thoughts, it is only fair that we first have a look at the trailer of this upcoming romantic movie.


    Now my first thoughts were around the fact that it gave me vibes of Befikre and Love Aaj Kal, in some snippets at least. The trailer is surely fun because the pairing is fresh, both Sunny and Radhika are super talented and look pretty good together. The story line looks like it is literally every millennial love story infused in one film. Boy meets girl, they share their theories on love, both of them seem to be engaged to another human, love follows, passion jumps in, you get the drill, right?

    Anyway, thanks to the magic of OTT, a lot of content and experimental movies are coming up. The main two reasons I feel people will enjoy this movie is because firstly the star cast is great. I enjoy their work and together they brighten up the screen. Secondly, after a very long time we’ll get to see a romantic movie. It also stars Diana Penty and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles.The movie premieres on October 1 on Disney+Hotstar.

    When the fifth and the final Test match between India and England was called off, both the Boards gave different reasons for the cancellation. 
    While the BCCI’s press release stated a COVID-19 breakout with the Indian Camp, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said that the match couldn’t take place because of Indian players’ apprehensions about a further increase in Covid cases inside their camp.

    Social media, however, was abuzz with the speculations that some of the senior Indian players refused to take the field, but there was no official confirmation from any of the concerned authorities.


    Batting legend Sunil Gavaskar had slammed the English media for 'spreading lies' about Indian players and even blamed them for portraying our cricketers as the 'villain'.

    As it turned out, the English media wasn’t shooting in the dark based on mere assumptions. 

    The reports of Indian players not willing to take the field were indeed true and the same has now been confirmed by the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.
    In a telephonic interview with The Telegraph India, the former India skipper confirmed that the players were “dead scared” and were fearful of a further breakout after the assistant physiotherapist, Yogesh Parmar tested positive on the eve of the Manchester Test.

    “The players refused to play but you can’t blame them. Physio Yogesh Parmar was such a close contact of the players. Being the only one available after Nitin Patel isolated himself, he mixed freely with the players and even performed their Covid-19 tests. He also used to give them a massage, he was part of their everyday lives,” Ganguly told The Telegraph India.

    “The players were devastated when they came to know that he had tested positive for Covid-19. They feared they must have contracted the disease and were dead scared. It’s not easy staying in a bubble. Of course, you have to respect their feelings,” he added.

    Ganguly also refuted reports that the BCCI was pissed with head coach Ravi Shastri for attending his book launch event a couple of days before the Oval Test and was contemplating any action against him. 

    However, Dada did mention that Shastri hadn’t sought BCCI’s permission for attending the event.

    Apart from putting to rest all the rumours about why the match was cancelled at the eleventh hour, Ganguly’s statement has also come as a huge embarrassment for the ‘Little Master’ who was quite adamant that there was no way Indian players would refuse to take the field.

    Recently, it has been more of a trend watching Virat Kohli act out in press conferences when a journalist asks a question which the skipper feels isn’t good enough for his response. Clearly, he does not like having such conversations with the media (which is absolutely fine) and stepping down as the captain will definitely bring this added advantage for him. On the other hand, Sharma is an absolute Press Conference King and knows how to deal with undesirable questions through humour and diplomacy.

    Over the past few months, reports of Kohli and Sharma making their peace with each other and growing closer as teammates have been emerging from the Indian dressing room. According to the Indian cricket board, one of the biggest reasons behind this camaraderie was the fact that Kohli wanted to give his white-ball captaincy to Rohit Sharma. This would not only mark the end of the rumoured rivalry between two of India’s top batsmen but will also take away any possibilities of the media creating fake narratives around the transfer for authority.

    Ben and Jennifer Lopez have been in the news for quite some time now. The couple who was engaged from 2002 to 2004 had parted ways, but their on and off relationship made everyone hope that someday, they might get back together and everyone would start rooting for 'Bennifer' again. 

    Well, fans' wishes came true when Ben and JLo were seen together in April and then again on a trip. The couple has now made their relationship official, and they sealed it with a kiss on the red carpet as well.

    Ben and Jennifer both walked hand in hand at the premiere of Affleck's new movie, The Last Duel. While Lopez was seen wearing Georges Hobeika white gown with a long slit, Affleck wore a classic tuxedo, looked nothing less than a dream couple together.  

    However, after the event, Ben showed his protective boyfriend side recently when a fan tried to click a picture with Jennifer. 
    The video has now gone viral in which Ben is seen pushing the man away. This fan leaned onto Lopez and tried to take a photo without her consent as she walked with Ben in the hotel lobby.

    Ben immediately asked the man to step aside, whereas Jennifer went behind Ben as if trying to protect herself. The security intervened too, and the couple then walked ahead.  

    Their relationship was finally confirmed when Jennifer posted photos from her 52nd birthday on Instagram. In one photo, Ben and Jennifer were seen kissing, and everyone went into a frenzy. 
    Jennifer had split with Alex Rodriguez, and Ben, who was dating Ana De Armas, earlier, was single too. The two walked hand in hand back in 2003, and this is like history repeating itself but in a good way. 
    Now, all we can hope is that the couple gets their happy ending soon!

    Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is one of the most hilarious shows on Indian television in today's time. The slapstick humour and the funny characters of the show, one of which is portrayed by Jethalal, has kept the audience hooked to their screens. 

    Apart from that, even other characters of the show are equally entertaining. For example, Babita Ji, who plays the role of Jethalal's neighbour, is his one-sided 'true love'. However, very recently, there were rumours that Munmun Dutta (played by Babita Ji) is dating Jethalal's son from the serial, Tappu played by Raj Anadkat.

    Now, Munmun has come forward and expressed her rage about the rumours in a long post on Instagram. She lashed out and spoke about people spreading 'filth' about her. 

    She said, "To the media and their zero credibility 'journos', who has given u the right to post ‘imaginary’ ‘made up’ articles in people's name about their private life without their consent? R u liable to the damage that you cause to their lives with your reckless behaviour? You don't stop at shoving your cameras on the face of a grieving woman who just lost her love or lost her son, in a funeral, just for your trps. You can stoop to any level to create sensational articles/headlines at the cost of someone's dignity, but are you going to take responsibility for wrecking havoc in their lives?? If no then, you should be ashamed of yourself!!”
    While she addressed this to the media, she also wrote to the general public and lashed out at trolls:
    “To the general public, I had far better expectations from you. But the FILTH that you have showered in the comments section, even from the so called 'literate' ones proves how regressive a society we are. Women are constantly age shamed, slut shamed, mom shamed at the cost of your humour. Whether your humour drives someone to the edge of a mental breakdown or not, is never your concern. 13 years of entertaining people, and it didn't take 13 minutes for anyone of you to rip my dignity apart. So next time someone is clinically depressed or driven to take their own lives, pause and think whether it was YOUR WORDS that drove that person to the edge or not. Today, I am ashamed of calling myself a daughter of India."

    This isn't the first time she has been in trouble. Earlier, #ArrestMunmunDutta started trending on Twitter in May.

    She was slammed for using a casteist slur in a video for which the actor also posted an apology. There were also FIR's lodged against her.

    Ever since Akshay appeared on ‘Into The Wild With Bear Grylls’ (remember the crazy adventurous episode?), fans have been waiting to see Ajay in the show too, scavenging in the dense forests with Bear Grylls. And this weekend, it came true.

    Devgn has been roped in to be the next guest on Into The Wild, hosted by British TV personality, adventurer and survivalist, Bear Grylls. 

    He has already left for the Maldives for the shoot on Sunday. Although the exact location is yet to be revealed, the wilderness of the Maldives promises an interesting and adventurous episode.

    Before Devgn, Grylls has hosted two Indian celebrities on Discovery’s classic show, Akshay Kumar and South superstar Rajinikanth. 

    Both episodes were shot in India in the jungles of Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National Park. This time, the location is the Maldives, probably due to Covid-19 in India.

    The Indian cricket team might witness a captaincy overhaul in white-ball cricket, with current skipper Virat Kohli stepping down from his role and passing on the baton to his deputy Rohit Sharma. 

    Unlike earlier reports which suggested that the change was inevitable because the BCCI was unhappy with Kohli’s captaincy and some of his decision-making, it has now emerged that Kohli has himself come forward and agreed to the change in leadership in the limited-overs cricket in order to concentrate more on his batting.

    “Virat himself will make the announcement. He is of the view that he needs to concentrate on his batting and go back to becoming what he’s always been — the best batsman in the world,” The Times of India quoted sources as saying. 

    Kohli’s numbers have seen a significant dip in the last couple of years, with his last international century coming way back in August 2019. He feels that leading the team across all three formats has taken a toll on his batting.

    After next month’s T20 World Cup, there are two more big ICC tournaments (2022 T20 WC and 2023 ODI World Cup) lined up in the next two years and that is why he wants to concentrate more on batting. 

    “If he had to ever take over as white-ball captain, that time is now. And it’s going to be a win-win for the Indian team because the two senior cricketers are so well in tune with each other,” said a BCCI source, as per TOI.

    Knowing how much Kohli loves to be at the centre of everything, fans were finding it difficult to digest that he was ready to give up captaincy willingly and hand it over to Rohit. 

    This is a masterstroke by Kohli , he knows that India can't win T20 WC under his captaincy and after wc he will be removed from captain of T20I it will be disrespectful to him. So he himself leaving captaincy to save his respect ...

    While most fans welcomed the news with open arms, some showed concern about Rohit’s age as he is two years older than Kohli. 
    While it’s true that age is not on the Indian opener’s side, the next two years are going to be very crucial for India in white-ball cricket and bringing in a young captain wouldn’t have been a wise choice.

    As far as this transition is concerned, both Rohit and Kohli are on the same page. More than personal accolades they both want to see the Indian team win silverware and dominate world cricket in the next couple of years. 

    If indeed the 2021 T20 World Cup is Kohli’s last white-ball tournament as a skipper, he would want to make it count and guide India to at least one major silverware before stepping down.
