The trailer of Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan starrer Shiddat is out now and before we dive into our first thoughts, it is only fair that we first have a look at the trailer of this upcoming romantic movie.

Now my first thoughts were around the fact that it gave me vibes of Befikre and Love Aaj Kal, in some snippets at least. The trailer is surely fun because the pairing is fresh, both Sunny and Radhika are super talented and look pretty good together. The story line looks like it is literally every millennial love story infused in one film. Boy meets girl, they share their theories on love, both of them seem to be engaged to another human, love follows, passion jumps in, you get the drill, right?

Anyway, thanks to the magic of OTT, a lot of content and experimental movies are coming up. The main two reasons I feel people will enjoy this movie is because firstly the star cast is great. I enjoy their work and together they brighten up the screen. Secondly, after a very long time we’ll get to see a romantic movie. It also stars Diana Penty and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles.The movie premieres on October 1 on Disney+Hotstar.
