Before Marc Anthony or Alex Rodriquez, there was Ben Affleck for Jennifer Lopez.

Ben and Jennifer Lopez have been in the news for quite some time now. The couple who was engaged from 2002 to 2004 had parted ways, but their on and off relationship made everyone hope that someday, they might get back together and everyone would start rooting for 'Bennifer' again. 

Well, fans' wishes came true when Ben and JLo were seen together in April and then again on a trip. The couple has now made their relationship official, and they sealed it with a kiss on the red carpet as well.

Ben and Jennifer both walked hand in hand at the premiere of Affleck's new movie, The Last Duel. While Lopez was seen wearing Georges Hobeika white gown with a long slit, Affleck wore a classic tuxedo, looked nothing less than a dream couple together.  

However, after the event, Ben showed his protective boyfriend side recently when a fan tried to click a picture with Jennifer. 

The video has now gone viral in which Ben is seen pushing the man away. This fan leaned onto Lopez and tried to take a photo without her consent as she walked with Ben in the hotel lobby.

Ben immediately asked the man to step aside, whereas Jennifer went behind Ben as if trying to protect herself. The security intervened too, and the couple then walked ahead.  

Their relationship was finally confirmed when Jennifer posted photos from her 52nd birthday on Instagram. In one photo, Ben and Jennifer were seen kissing, and everyone went into a frenzy. 

Jennifer had split with Alex Rodriguez, and Ben, who was dating Ana De Armas, earlier, was single too. The two walked hand in hand back in 2003, and this is like history repeating itself but in a good way. 

Now, all we can hope is that the couple gets their happy ending soon!
