It’s finally happened. After leaving the world with a heck of a cliffhanger in season 4 last year, the Professor and his band of bandits are back. And by the looks of it, Season 5 is going to be an adventure of a lifetime for our favourite robbers.
Wait is almost overits time for Nairobi

La Casa De Papel, fondly known as Money Heist, had already transformed into a cultural phenomenon before season 4 launched it into a global behemoth. Fans had been waiting for a year with bated breath to know what happens when the merciless Agent Sierra finally apprehends our beloved mastermind.
WAIT OH MY GOD IS THE NEW SEASON OF "LA CASA DE PAPEL" ON NETFLIX
ARE MY BABIES BACK
brb going to mute absolutely everything to avoid a single spoiler but THANK GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG pic.twitter.com/Xak2X8cQ0f

Does the professor’s ice cold demeanour wilt under pressure or has he found yet another loose string to save him in this adrenaline inducing game of cat and mouse?
Closer to the site of the robbery itself, we’ve the recently rescued Lisbon calling the shots at the Bank Of Spain. Armed with tenacity and deadly intellect, former agent Raquel Murillo gives us much needed respite from the trigger friendliness of the rest of her team.
I’ll just say this was FINALLY the season of Itziar Ituño,of Lisboa. Seeing her in charge, saving their asses. She has proved she’s more than a girlfriend. She’s a leader, an intelligent woman (said Sergio himself!), a ex poli, a mother, a warrior, A SURVIVOR.

Season 5 of Money Heist released at 12:30 pm IST on Netflix. That was plenty of time for the internet to consume the first part of the series finale.

All La Casa De Papel stans would agree that Arturo’s personality attracts fists the way a punching bag does.

We never thought a selfie stick could be used like that. Ingenious but also a tad unsettling.

The girls really have taken over the heist in this season.

That flamethrower sure looks familiar.

With season 5, The Professor has proven that he’s a hardcore romantic. He just shows it differently. Lisbon and Sergio’s love story gives us goals!

Some of us really sat through and gobbled up the entire experience in a single sitting and now we’re going to be miserable till part 2 of the finale releases.

As intriguing as ever, his flashbacks showed us a different side to this twisted character.
© Twitter
Just when we’d thought Tokyo’s finally got her anger in control.

Every time you think he’s down, he finds a way to get back again. It would have been a lot better if he wasn’t batting for the other team. The second most punchable personality in the series. Undoubtedly.
© Twitter
Speaking of batting, local celebrity Virat Kohli’s doppelganger set the internet alight with memes!
© Twitter
Seriously, the Professor really needs to teach his team a bit more trigger discipline. At this rate they’ve no need for gun holsters.
© Twitter
To be honest, watching the show in Spanish is a totally different experience and comes highly recommended. The subtitles take some getting used to, but it’s worth it to see Tokyo and Bogota exacting their revenge on a certain somebody in Spanish.
Part 1 of Money Heist’s Season 5 is finally out. Have you had the chance to watch it yet? Let us know about your favourite scenes in the comments.

Being a world-class athlete is not easy. It takes a hell lot of hard work, dedication and sacrifices to reach the top of any sport. But if you ask Neeraj Chopra what he finds more difficult to cope with between his training or attending interviews, he would definitely pick the latter, without blinking an eye.
© Reuters
It’s sad that a javelin thrower who did India proud by winning a historic Olympic gold medal in Tokyo last month has had to go through some of the most bizarre interviews, where people made him uncomfortable with their stupid questions or disrepecteful gestures.
Ladiesssss..Yes I got the hard hitting, deep answers too but..Take the first 4 secs before the cam moves to the zoom call to guess who we are dancing for ;) #udejabjabzulfeinteri and then tell me I did it for all of us #gold #olympics #neerajchopra @RedFMIndia @RedFM_Mumbai pic.twitter.com/SnEJ99MK31
— Mumbai Ki Rani (@mymalishka) August 19, 2021
It’s disgusting that, rather than talking about his achievement, some people are treating him like an eye candy and are more interested in knowing his relationship status. We saw how a popular radio jockey Malishka Mendonsa made him uncomfortable with her dance performance and even asked him for a virtual hug at the end.
© Reuters
If this was not all, a noted art historian Rajeev Sethi went a notch further and asked the star athlete about his “*** life” and his training and how he maintains a balance between the two during an Indian Express live interaction.
If you thought Malishka was Cringe WATCH Rajeev Sethi go a STEP FURTHER He asked Neeraj Chopra : "How Do you Balance your Sеx Life with your training??" Disgusted Neeraj replied "Aapke question se mera mann bhar gaya" #NeerajChopra #RajeevSethi pic.twitter.com/qwVd7hAot4
— Rosy (@rose_k01) September 3, 2021
Sethi, sitting in his car, started by complimenting Neeraj not for his achievement but for his looks. “What a handsome young man you are!” he said.
He knew Neeraj would not be comfortable answering his question, that it would make him uncomfortable, but he went ahead saying this was something that many Indians are curious to ask him but are hesitant.
© Reuters
“How do you maintain a balance between your *** life and athletic training? I know this is a weird question,” asked Sethi, making Neeraj very uncomfortable.
Being the polite man that he is, Neeraj simply responded by saying “Sorry” but Sethi kept on insisting to which the athlete replied: “Sorry, sir. I have said sorry, you can know my answer from that.”
© Reuters
Despite that, Sethi kept on insisting how important his question was to the budding athletes. Neeraj was completely miffed and he said: “Apke question se mera mann bhar gaya (your question has overwhelmed me)." He then asked the moderator to intervene and move on to the next question.
Furious with such a ridiculous question, people lashed out at the art historian for crossing all limits and disrespecting the 23-year-old athlete. People also raised the question if he would have dared to ask the same question to a top cricketer like Virat Kohli.
Media persons need to recognise that @Neeraj_chopra1 is a national icon. They need to treat him with respect irrespective of his age or background. The repeated instances of casual disrespect are a reflection of a deep-rooted class bias.

Some people feel interview hain toh koi bhi sawal pucch sakte hain !
It’s sick & disgusting how someone can ask such personal questions to anyone
There are some lines of decency which should never be crossed & this man has crossed all limits !
— Pallavi (@pallavict) September 4, 2021He is very high in Elitist hierarchy. They dare not ask Kohli such a thing.
— AAYUSH NARAYAN (@aayushnarayan) September 3, 2021This is harrassment. Targetted exploitation. We will have to wait another 3 years for a gold but this moment is spent asking lusty crap. There is absolutely no respect for sportsmen. And winners puttin their call from PM on speaker is mocked.thats the sick world now.shameful.
— Harish (@moovbuff) September 3, 2021From falling sick to ending his season prematurely, Neeraj has already suffered enough from this excessive media coverage, and interviews like these are clearly not something a champion athlete like him deserves.

Daniel Jarvis aka Jarvo 69, a British serial offender who has turned invading pitches into his hobby during the ongoing Test series in England, made a mockery of the security arrangements for the third consecutive game as he barged onto the pitch on Day 2 of the fourth Test at the Oval.
© Reuters
Jarvis, dressed in all whites, ran onto the pitch and tried to deliver a ball to England batsman Ollie Pope. He went past Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav and bumped into England wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow at the non-striker’s end before releasing the ball.

— Naman Kumar (@Naman_OFFiCi4L) September 3, 2021
The ease with which he was able to do all of this made people angry and they started questioning the security arrangements by the ground authorities. England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are being held responsible for not being proactive and allowing a serial offender like him inside the ground despite him making his intentions clear on previous two occasions.
Like many of us, cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle said he would be surprised if the people responsible for making the security arrangements at these venues weren’t sacked already despite “very serious security lapse”.
I think a few people need to be sacked at grounds in England. This is a very serious security lapse and it just continues. Not even a prank anymore. #Jarvo #Idiot.

This was the third consecutive time that Jarvo flouted the security protocols, if there were any, and ran onto the field. After appearing at Lord’s, disguised as an Indian fielder, he turned up wearing all protective equipment, pads, helmets and a face mask, at Headingley.
His second breach earned him a life-time ban from entering the venue but that didn’t stop him from repeating his silly act for the third game running, where he turned up as an Indian bowler.

— Sunandan Lele (@sunandanlele) September 3, 2021Is it still funny? Was it ever? #jarvo
— Charles Dagnall (@CharlesDagnall) September 3, 2021After going with little to no punishment on his first two attempts, Jarvo was finally arrested by the local police. However, his arrest was not made on the grounds of breaching the stadium security but bumping into an English cricketer.
Jarvo 69 has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is in custody in south London
— Will Macpherson (@willis_macp) September 3, 2021
"A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at the Oval Cricket Ground on Friday, 3 September. He remains in custody at a south London police station," the Metropolitan Police said in a statement to British media as reported by Reuters.
© Reuters
"The ECB and our host venues do not tolerate any such behaviour which risks the safety of players, officials and staff. The ECB works closely with all our venues to share information and enhance their security operation," the ECB said in a statement to British media.
While the Indian players and the team management has not reacted strongly to these security breaches, we wonder how England would have reacted had the same thing happened even once during a game in India.
Jarvo69 is a legend#jarvo #INDvsEND #ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/cv3uxlpu2T
— Raghav Padia (@raghav_padia) August 27, 2021
Social media celebrated him like a hero and Indian media houses turned him into a big celebrity as they conducted exclusive interviews. If any serial offender got a treatment like this, what else would you expect him to do?

As the world still reels from popular actor Sidharth Shukla’s tragic passing on September 2nd, those close to him have given us a rare glimpse into the life of a man loved by all.
The late actor’s Dil Se Dil Tak director Ashish Srivastav spoke to ETimes TV, discussing Sid’s jovial and happy-go-lucky nature, as well as his consummate professionalism towards work, "I had set up the show Dil Se Dil Tak, and found him to be a very happy-go-lucky guy. He was a mast maula. As an actor, he would read his lines and come on set and would like to discuss before a shoot, which you rarely find actors doing today.
View this post on Instagram
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sidharth Shukla’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 co-contestant Vivan Bhathena remembered the late actor fondly, “You know, (in our group) we were all the boring types, and he was the one who had all the fun. He has always been the naughty one, upto some mischief and prank. He really enjoyed his life to the fullest. I just feel really sad for his mother, and the people he is leaving behind. I don’t know how they are going to deal with this loss, and I don’t know what happened suddenly that has caused this problem. The words are not coming out right now, and we are all really shaken up.”
The late actor's initial bout with fame came from his role as Shivraj Shekhar in the television show Balika Vadhu. Anandi, his romantic interest on the show, was played by the late actor Pratyusha Banerjee.
In conversation with a leading news channel, late actor Pratyusha Banerjee’s father spoke about Sidharth’s equation with his daughter. Their stint on Balika Vadhu had made them close friends and he was a frequent figure in their lives. However, things changed after her unfortunate passing in 2016. There were unsolicited rumours about their relationship, which made Sidharth uncomfortable.
View this post on Instagram
Pratyusha’s untimely death in 2016 left her to be survived by her parents Shankar and Soma Banerjee. Her father, Shankar, has now revealed that after Pratyusha’s demise, Sidharth had been in touch with them. Despite the busy life that came with his increasing fame and fortune, Sid would fervently be in touch with his former co-star’s parents, constantly worried about their safety and security. In fact, he had even forcibly sent Rs. 20,000 to Shankar Banerjee during the lockdown caused by COVID-19.
It’s clear to see that Sidharth Shukla had an overwhelmingly positive influence on every life he touched, even if it was brief.
His fans are inconsolable and have been left stunned by the demise of an incredible human being.

The late actor’s last rites took place on the September 3rd at Oshiwara crematorium. His close friends and family were present to bid their final goodbyes. Sidharth Shukla is survived by mother, Rita Shukla and two sisters.

Tiger Shroff is one of the fittest Bollywood actors in our industry and he is on a roll. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 2014 alongside Kriti Sanon in the film Heropanti and since then there is no looking back. He has many new projects in his kitty including a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film Rambo.
Actor Tiger Shroff has bought a new house in Mumbai’s Khar area to live with his family. The new house is a plush 8BHK apartment in a high-rise building.
View this post on Instagram
In a recent interview, Jackie Shroff (Tiger Shroff’s dad) also opened up about their new apartment and expressed how Tiger always wanted to gift his mom a house. He said, “Tiger dreamed of buying a house for his mother ever since he joined films. He kept working towards that dream. A child getting something for his mother is wonderful. He’s a very sweet and emotional guy.”
Tiger has bought an ultra-luxurious house which is situated at the Rustomjee Paramount project in the posh Khar west neighborhood. The base price of the apartments in the high rise starts from around 5.5 crores to 7 crores. However, Tiger Shroff must have paid in double digits for the house.
View this post on Instagram
Earlier, he wanted to buy back the old family apartment at the Pepeyon along Mount Mary Road, Bandra, where he grew up along with his sister. However, he rather invested in this stunning Khar apartment.
The building has amenities such as multiple car parking, an outdoor fitness station, an artificial rock-climbing area, and a star gazing deck.

Before moving into the 8BHK house, the Shroffs resided in a house on Carter Road, Bandra. However, according to a report by TOI, they lived in the house on rent and didn’t own it.
The house has an unobstructed view of the gorgeous Arabian Sea and many chill stations offered to the residents.

When news first broke that Marvel Studios is bringing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, fans were excited to see the first Asian Marvel superhero. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the 25th movie in the Marvel cinematic universe has made history by casting an Asian superhero in form of Simu Liu. Most of us now know Canadian actor Simu as the lead of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings but he hadn’t always been a sensation.
View this post on Instagram
In a recent interview with guest host Sean Hayes on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Liu opened up about his past gigs wherein he shared that he used to dress up as Spider-Man for kids' birthday parties. I recently got an opportunity to interact with Simu and asked him about the same.
He told me, “The decision of dressing up as Spider-Man was only financial. I had to pay my bills. When you are a struggling actor, you don’t really make that much. I thought if I will be Spider-Man for kids' birthday parties, I will be working on my acting muscles too.”
I also mentioned that it would be interesting to see a Spider-Man and Shang Chi crossover. To which, he replied, “It would be really interesting and there are comics that are supportive of the theory. Consider me a fan and I can’t wait to see what Marvel and Kevin have planned for the character.”
Here’s the interview:
View this post on Instagram
In my interview, I also asked if he ever felt the burden of being the first Asian superhero. He said, “I don’t choose to see it as a burden but an incredible opportunity. I think the world is ready for an Asian superhero and I want to show everyone how it feels to fully embrace it rather than to treat it as a burden or shy away from it. I am incredibly grateful for it and I am also hopeful that it opens doors in the future for more superhero movies like this so that many more communities could see themselves like it as they haven’t been portrayed this way. I think it’s a sign of progress.”

We have already watched the movie and we strongly recommend you to watch it in theatres near you.

Let's admit one thing. When we actually grow up, life really stops making sense. We are literally studying our a**es off in school, college only to then realize that most of us will have to work our a**es off again for the rest of our lives to earn a decent living.
© iStock
It sounds sad but it's the truth for a lot of us. This is the reason why, at times, when Bollywood shows us tales of heroes taking the shortcut to success, we feel a certain sense of satisfaction.
© Prime Video
However, it's not a straight road for a lot of them as we have seen, with many characters using their wits to con others into achieving their dreams. Well, I thought it is fair to have a list of Bollywood characters who were so street smart that they could end up fooling anyone and actually take a shortcut to being successful without working their a**es off.
1. Gopal - Golmaal: Fun Unlimited © YouTube
The 2006 Rohit Shetty film was a laughter fest and went on to become a successful franchise as well. The four characters of Gopal, Madhav, Lucky, and Laxman were so ridiculously good at conning people together that we still watch the movie whenever it's on TV.
While all of them were good, Gopal, their leader was unarguably the most street smart of them all, and with his "Chaddi Pe Gaddi", 'Zippo Lighter Pe Flat Free', and 'AC Pe Electricity Free' schemes fooled a lot of people. At the end of the movie, we found out he actually had a heart of gold, but we know that if there was any person we needed fooling, Gopal could do the job any given day.
2. Raju - Hera Pheri & Phir Hera Pheri © Prime Video
How can we forget the Phir Hera Pheri scene where Akshay Kumar's Raju fools Rajpal Yadav into believing the "Paisa Double" Scheme. Throughout the two movies, we found out that Raju surely always had a trick up his sleeve in order to fool someone and get rich.
Even in the first movie, when Shyam (Suniel Shetty) negotiates with Kabira (Gulshan Grover), it is actually all Raju's master plan that helps save the kidnapped girl and get the money. He followed the same series of acts in the next movie to become even richer and we sure can say that he can fool anyone he lays his eyes upon.
3. Chhote Miya- Bade Miyan Chote Miyan © Disney Plus Hotstar
The 1998 film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in double roles, and the whole cop-thieve ordeal was truly hilarious. Govinda's portrayal of Chote Miyan was exceptional and we could see how he could end up telling any lie or living one to get to what he wanted. He was exactly the kind of person that could find out a solution to any problem even if it meant coming at the cost of others.
4. Lucky - Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! © Netflix
The movie starring Abhay Deol was based on the true story of Devinder Singh alias Bunty, a real-life 'super-chor', who went on fooling anyone and everyone to get the things he wanted.
Abhay Deol's portrayal of Lucky was so spot on that we don't think we can find a much better conman in the world. Be it his street skills or convincing powers, Lucky could end up making you part ways with your car in the middle of traffic if he couldn't find a bus.
5. Sonu - Style © Zee5
Remember the epic movie Style starring Sharman Joshi and Sahil Khan as the best friend duo of Sonu and Monu. Well, Sonu (Sharman) was truly a mastermind in making things work for them and combined well with Monu to fool friends, family, and even the girls that they loved (at least at first).
Whether it was paying for college ki canteen ke paise or conning the college dean, Sonu could do everything at the drop of a hat.
6. Akash - Andhadhun © Netflix
Ayushmann Khurrana's 2018 dark comedy crime thriller film Andhadhun had you on the edge of your seats from start to finish and was clearly the actor's finest work. The actor played the role of Akash who was a piano player pretending to be visually impaired and he literally even had the audience confused because of how good he was.
Akash showed that if he had his mind set on something, he could end up using his skills to outsmart and outmaneuver the smartest people around.
7. Makran - Garam Masala © Disney Plus Hotstar
Akshay Kumar played the role of Mak or Makran in the 2005 comedy film Garam Masala alongside John Abraham and well, it's one of his classic comedies. He really ended up fooling four girls into believing he was in love with them while dating them simultaneously.
Not only that, he even fooled the house owner where he was staying and even his own relatives. In the end, we were only left wondering whether we'd seen any other character who could end up doing what he did in the movie.
8. Ricky Bahl - Ladies vs Ricky Bahl © Prime Video
Ranveer Singh's portrayal of Ricky Bahl may have been inspired by the English film John Tucker Must Die, where he constantly changes identities to flirt and con three women.
Now, while the tables end up turning on him when the three girls unite to con him instead, his ability to easily familiarize himself with anyone and fool them for so long, clearly makes him one character that will take advantage of anyone.
9. Bunty - Bunty Aur Babli © Prime Video
Abhishek Bachchan played Bunty in the film alongside Rani Mukherjee's role of Babli, where the two realized how easy it was to con people to make huge sums of money. Well, Bunty, despite being from a small town, suddenly finds out his street smart skills when thrown out in the real world.
Let's just say that when Amitabh Bachchan ends up playing a senior cop to catch conmen, Bunty must really be a serious criminal. Throughout the movie, Bunty can be seen pranking people into getting what he wants and we feel that he certainly is one of the most clever conmen in Bollywood's history.
