    Screenwriter Sandeep Srivastava has recently opened up about the homework he did for his latest movie Shershaah. The film is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra. In the film, we also see his love story with his girlfriend Dimple Cheema. The movie starred Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. 
    After the film released, many people criticized how short Kiara Advani’s role was in the film and how it was reduced to only playing Vikram Batra’s girlfriend. The writer, however, addressed the criticism and said that he was able to capture the essence of their relationship, considering how little time Dimple and Vikram actually spent together with each other.

    In an interview with News18, Sandeep said, “When I was doing my research, and I interacted with Dimple, she said that Captain Batra and she knew each other for four years but the time they spent together was just about 40 days. I think that we have captured the essence of those 40 days, which means a lot to the wonderful lady whom I have a lot of respect. It is the essence of her feelings that is coming through the way Kiara has played the character, and that’s what’s really sticking to people.

    He also said, "So I do not think there was a need to add anything. It’s just the right amount. She is a very integral part of Captain Vikram Batra’s life, you cannot tell his story without his relationship with Dimple, and without what he did in the war. I think what we have done is struck the right balance. There are also so many views, which are just the contrary and they are saying that it is a perfect blend of his personal life and his life as a soldier.”

    In the recent photo shared by Priyanka, she is seen wearing a black bikini top with red bottoms, and Nick is shirtless and is seen in his black swimming trunk. 

    However, the interesting part is that one can see him holding a fork and knife and 'cutting' a piece off of Priyanka's 'butt'.
    She is seen smiling as Nick is caught in the frame. Priyanka captioned it as "Snack" and added knife and fork emojis. She also shared a couple of other images in the bikini, and the famous 'Jiju' as we call him, also commented, "Yummy." Cheesy much?

    Priyanka has been in London for a while now due to her packed schedule. After she was done shooting for the romantic comedy, Text For You, she recently announced a new project, Jee Le Zaraa, which would also star Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, and is directed by Farhan Akhtar.

    Armaan Kohli is in the limelight after he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for allegedly possessing 1.2g of cocaine. When it comes to his acting career, however, he has had quite a few misses as he has dropped out of movies that could have given him a much-needed boost. After making his debut in 1992's Virodhi, the actor was off the radar and made a comeback after a decade with Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, which obviously was a disaster.

Armaan had no regrets about giving up the opportunity as he said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama in 2015, “If we start thinking about the past and what we could've done, our life will be hell. So generally I don't sit and regret and think about, 'Oh, I should have done that, if I had done that then this would have happened. I wish I had thought that way. I would have been somewhere else, for sure. But, as I said, there is no regret. If I lost Deewana, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan got Deewana, and he's the superstar of the country. I'm pretty okay with that."


    Not just Deewana, he also revealed that he has lost a lot of movies. He said, "Every film that I've left, 80% were super-hits, big superstars have come into the industry because of that."
    Shah Rukh Khan also gave credit to Armaan for his success and stardom. In an appearance on the show Yaaron Ki Baraat in 2016, SRK said, “Armaan Kohli is responsible for me being a star. He featured on the Deewana poster with the late Divya Bharti. I still have that poster. Thank you for making me a star.”
    SRK got a dream start with Deewana but he also felt that he terribly overacted in the movie. In an old interview with Filmfare, Shah Rukh had said, "I'm glad the film has done so well...But I don’t think I’ve contributed in any way to its success. My performance was awful -- loud, vulgar, and uncontrolled. I overacted terribly and I take full responsibility for it... I am my worst critic and when I saw myself on the screen I was appalled. Isn’t it amazing that people have liked me in the film? Perhaps that’s because I am a fresh face. It’s not a performance I’d care to repeat or remember."

    The Indian cricket team is in the middle of a tough situation after their main batting lineup for Test cricket completely flopped against England during the Leeds match and got wrapped up for 78 runs in the first innings.
    The Men in Blue would then go on to score 278 runs in the second innings off the back of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Cheteshwar Pujara’s half-centuries. However, by the end of Day 4, even their efforts would fall short of getting anywhere close to a victory and would end up with an innings defeat.

    When a crisis occurs, fans are bound to raise fingers at the different members of the team and the loss at the Headingley Carnegie cricket ground was no different.  
    After the match got wrapped up a day ahead of its scheduled time, many have questioned the reason behind Ajinkya Rahane’s presence in the team despite constantly struggling to stick to the crease and scoring runs.     Most of the fans who have a problem with Rahane’s spot in the batting order were remembering India’s tour of Australia earlier this year when he became the captain of the team after Virat Kohli came back for personal reasons.
    Back then, Rahane had made a significant change in dropping Test opener Prithvi Shaw after having just one bad match at Adelaide when the entire Indian side was dismissed for 36 runs in the first innings.

    Kota Factory is a fantastic motivational show, highlighting Kota city's life for students who are there to achieve their goal to enter into the famed Indian Institue of Technology (IIT). 
    The show is a story about an upper-middle-class guy named Vaibhav Pandey, aspiring to get into IIT. The first season was about his life after joining the coaching institute that helps prep students for IIT. 
    Vaibhav deals with high intense pressure and competition everywhere. However, his friends make his life easier and help him settle in the anxiety-filled space comfortably. 
    Our attention increases more with each episode as we see them battle every obstacle that comes their way.

    Kota Factory has a mind-blowing cast. Jitendra Kumar plays the key role of a teacher and mentor of Prodigy classes. Represented as Jeetu Bhaiya, his role intrigued the audience. 

    Earlier the show was released on YouTube and TVFPlay app. However, for the Kota Factory fans, the series has been renewed for another season, and this time it will air on Netflix.
    The show's first season was launched in 2019, and after two whole years, the wait has finally come to an end. The teaser of the new season has the three friends Vaibhav, Balamukund and Uday. 
    The opening scene has the students talking about their physics mentor, Jeetu Bhaiya, leaving the coaching centre. Vaibhav is hit with nostalgia, and while he is deep dwelling in it, Jeetu steps in as the guide and gives motivational words and quotes.

    For the unversed, Jitendra was a student himself and is known for his role as Jeetu. 

    He said in an interview, "Considering my experience of studying in Kota, it was a lot easier in portraying my character in Kota Factory as real. I was comfortable in speaking the dialogues as I was familiar with the lingo and the technical words that are usually used. In the initial days, Abhishek Yadav, Saurabh Khanna and I had a brief talk about how the character of Jeetu Bhaiya would be."

    He further added, "While the two wanted to portray a 'larger than life image of the teacher, I was a bit sceptical whether such teachers existed in real life or not. However, they were pretty convinced that it will have an impact on the audience, and they made me believe too. During the shoots, Abhishek would always be on the sets and would explain how the entire scene is supposed to look like, and this helped me a lot in expressing the correct emotions."

    What happens when you’re shooting as James Bond and a real life ‘Bond’ moment ends up, with someone literally running away with your car and luggage? Well, you still fret and frown because that's exactly what Tom Cruise had to endure recently. As per reports  , his BMW which costs around a crore in Indian currency and his luggage was stolen while he was busy shooting. It was stolen outside his hotel in Birmingham and even though some reports suggest that the car was eventually found, all his belongings have gone.

    The situation was handled after Tom’s bodyguard noticed the car was missing. The thieves were able to access the car after using a scanner to copy its keyless ignition fob. Tom is currently in the UK where he is busy shooting for the next Mission Impossible movie in the James Bond universe. The movie is slated to release in 2022.

    The Empire director Mitakshara Kumar recently responded to comparisons being made between the new series, The Empire and Game Of Thrones.  
    The Empire was recently released on Disney+ Hotstar and many people have noticed the similarities between the aesthetics and action sequences of the two series. 
    Mitakshara, in a recent interview, said that there is a huge difference between the budgets of the two shows and also said that the subject of the show is completely different. 

    In an interview with The Indian Express, she said, "They have dragons and zombies, how can people compare?” She added, “You want to compare our show to Game of Thrones? Give us the budget for Game of Thrones. That show is made on a huge scale. I think our entire series could be made in the budget they use for just 1-2 episodes. If despite having a fraction of the budget, we are still being compared to Game of Thrones, I think somewhere we have done something right.”
    GOT is based on George RR Martin’s bestselling novel from A Song of Ice and Fire Saga. The Empire is based on Alex Rutherford’s series of books, Empire of the Moghul.

    The series revolves around the life of a Mughal emperor Babur and his journey from becoming a king of the Mughal Empire in India. Kunal Kapoor plays the role of Babur and Shabana Azmi and Dino Morea also play significant roles in the series. 
    Kunal Kapoor said in an interview, "I think these are unnecessary comparisons. Comparisons will be made and it is tragic that it is Game Of Thrones because it is a fantastic show. Whenever you do a period drama like that it will be compared to something. Some will say it is like Padmaavat, Bajirao, or Game Of Thrones, but it is a different story, it’s a different world, different characters different people. If people are comparing the scale (to GOT) then great, it’s wonderful, but I don't think there is any other commonality between that show and this show.”

    Toxic work culture is not something all of us are unfamiliar with. No matter what your profession is or in whichever part of the world you're living, there is that one employee, a bunch of employees, or the employer itself who makes life a tad bit hard.

    This is the reason why Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's latest advertisement for Zomato has been facing so much criticism from people.


    In the ad, a Zomato delivery guy can be seen delivering food to Hrithik's house, where, upon arrival he is weirdly greeted by Hrithik as 'Jadoo' (Magic), the iconic alien character from his 2003 film Koi... Mil Gaya. The actor then explains that he called him 'Jadoo' for delivering the food on time despite the pouring rain.
    Now, without waiting further, Hrithik offers the delivery guy to take a selfie with him for which the actor goes on inside to get his phone. However, in the ad, the delivery executive, despite being starstruck, looks at his watch and realizes that if he doesn't rush, he would be late for his next delivery. As a result, he leaves without taking a selfie with Hrithik after which a voiceover can be heard saying that every customer is equally important for Zomato.
    Overall, while the idea of the ad was to make the customers feel that they were given the most importance even if it was Hrithik Roshan, most viewers didn't quite agree with it, as they felt that the delivery boys should be given some respite.
    I mean, just imagine, the delivery boys are under so much pressure that they cannot even afford to spend five seconds extra to get a selfie clicked.
    Clearly, Zomato's plan backfired, and here is what people had to say about it on Twitter.
    Hrithik calls the Zomato guy an alien for delivering samosas on time even in pouring rain, because praising a human like that would sound like exploitation.

    Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya are a power couple of the South Indian film industry. Recently, Samantha removed Akkineni from her social media handles and people have started speculating that maybe their marriage is falling apart.  
    Samantha changed her social media profile name to only ‘S’. And now reports are surfacing that their marriage is on the verge of being over.

    However, a fan theory also suggested that her name is changed as part of promotional activity for her upcoming film Shakuntalam, a mythological epic love story.  
    The film is written and directed by Gunasekhar, the film will see Samantha portraying the titular character. 
    In a recent interview, Samantha was asked about why she dropped her last name and she responded by smiling and said that she will only respond to gossips and rumours when she feels like it. 

    She said, “Like everyone else, I am entitled to my own opinion, and I am not someone who loses my mind in the face of a controversy.”  
    Samantha also faced severe backlash for playing the role of a Sri-Lankan Tamilian woman Raji in the recently-released The Family Man season 2. 
    To which she responded by saying that trolls and controversies don’t affect her.  
    However, according to a report by Great Andhra, “Chaitanya is also maintaining distance from responding to the relationship controversy. The actor is reportedly avoiding calls from producers and filmmakers citing family issues.”

    Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in 2015 and went on to become a huge hit at the box office. In the movie, there’s a scene wherein you see Nawazuddin Siddiqui impersonating a Pakistani field reporter called Chand Nawab who hadn’t had a very successful career. After Nawaz’s clip went viral, people were instantly reminded of Chand and his old videos resurfaced on the internet.
