Dark circles are the worst of all skin problems. They look unappealing, don’t have a specific remedy or cause (sometimes they are genetic) and simply refuse to leave.
Almost nothing seems to work on those pesky eye bags and under-eye darkening.
© iStock
Dark circles may be stubborn and don’t leave easily but what makes them stay, is our own poor sleeping habits and lifestyle. Increased screen time, inadequate sleep coupled with an unhealthy diet also has a lot to do with under eye skin problems.
© iStock
However, you can keep those in check and avoid puffiness, dark circles and eye bags by simply adopting some bedtime habits.
Here are 4 such healthy habits to swear by before you hit the sheets to get rid of under-eye woes:
1. Sleep On Your Back © iStock
Sleeping on your tummy is a super comfortable position but is not very healthy, neither for your body (it puts stress on your back and spine) nor for your skin.
Sleeping with your face down leads to fluid collecting in your face which leads to puffiness under your eyes. Instead, sleep on your back to let the fluid drain and avoid puffy eyes.
2. Stay Away From The Screen © iStock
As relaxing as it is to scroll through social media or binge-watch your favourite series lying on the bed with the lights off after a tiring day, it is only adding up to your skin problems.
It strains your eyes which causes the blood vessels around your eyes to enlarge, darkening the under-eye area and giving you puffy eyes. Read a book or listen to music instead.
3. Avoid Salt & Hydrate © iStock
Salt has a special quality of retaining water in the body, the under-eye area being one of the most common parts to store it.
The collected fluid can make your dark circles more visible as blood vessels are pushed closer to the skin by excess water.
Limit your salt intake in dinner and drink lots of water to reduce excess fluid in the body.
4. Get Adequate Sleep © iStock
Lastly, but most importantly, get a good night’s rest. When you don’t get a proper shut-eye, you are bound to have dark circles and eye bags among other skincare and health problems.
Lack of sleep is the prime reason for many skin problems, dark circles being one of them. Make sure you have interrupted sleep for at least 7-8 hours.

With India suffering a heavy defeat in the Leeds Test, the questions are being asked about almost every single player and their spot in the team. Some are suggesting that Virat Kohli made a huge mistake by leaving Ravichandran Ashwin on the bench, while others are attacking him for going into the match with a batter less.
England win the third #ENGvIND Test at Headingley & level the series 1-1 against #TeamIndia.
We will look to bounce back in the fourth Test, starting September 2.

— BCCI (@BCCI) August 28, 2021
Amidst all this one thing that’s clear is that India’s batting, if we leave Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul out, has looked fragile for a long time but we kept on winning matches due to our world-class bowling attack and everyone just looked past this weakness of ours.
Watching our batting unit, considered to be one of the best in world cricket, collapse twice within four days has brought all our attention to the root cause behind the team's failure in the last few months.
After India’s loss at Leeds, experts are in an overdrive mode suggesting changes to the starting XI. Former cricketers like Dilip Vengsarkar and Vinod Kambli have called for Suryakumar Yadav’s inclusion into the Playing XI for the fourth Test ahead of players like Hanuma Vihari and Mayank Agarwal.
© Instagram Suryakumar Yadav
“I don't like to sound as if it's a knee-jerk reaction but I firmly believe we need to strengthen our batting line-up by including Suryakumar Yadav ahead of Hanuma Vihari. We should drop a bowler and go in with six batsmen,” Vengsarkar told news agency PTI in an exclusive interview.
“Surya can match (in terms of skills) with the best in this Indian team and since he's around for sometime now he should be included before it's too late,” Vengsarkar said.
Vengsarkar wants India to field an extra batsman in form of SKY, while Kambli suggested Kohli should rest Rahane and hand the Mumbai Indians batter his red-ball debut.
#INDvENG Its time to rest Ajinkya and get @surya_14kumar.instead of playing four fast bowlers get in ashwin and if i was the captain I will talk to every individual players regarding the middle order batsmen and boost their confidence
— Vinod Kambli (@vinodkambli349) August 28, 2021
“#INDvENG Its time to rest Ajinkya and get @surya_14kumar.instead of playing four fast bowlers get in ashwin and if i was the captain I will talk to every individual players regarding the middle order batsmen and boost their confidence,” Kambli tweeted.
The suggestion didn’t go down well with a score of supporters and blamed the former cricketers for showing bias towards a player just because he plays domestic cricket for the same side as them.
Mumbai lobby. This is so shameful!
"India" Has lost. Can we keep state bias aside?? Sky deserves to be in the fray but mayank, vihari are ahead in pecking order. And this is coming from a guy who wants sky at 4 in wc.
Be neutral. India first. Mumbai later. Mr kambli.
— Rajat Sharma (@RajatSh60109429) August 28, 2021Ok ..time for you to get off this platform! And if suryakumar yadav also nicks one to the keeper/slips who do you replace him with..Shreyas Iyer ???
— Akhilesh Agarwal (@akhileshagarw) August 29, 2021Can't understand this hype for SKY in tests, lol. Has a very avg domestic record + isn't technically sound + doesn't even have the patience to bat in ODIs, let alone tests + is almost 31 years of age, so isn't a long term solution either.
Only because he's from Mumbai lobby?
— Soham (@Soham718) August 29, 2021All Mumbai players who are suggesting SKY over Vihari. Have you ever seen anything above Mumbai cricket? Learn about other ranji players and why they are important for Indian cricket. Thanks
— Abhinandan Nahata (@khel_ind_gyANi) August 28, 2021Mumbai lobby at play again. Love Surya, and I think he will be a handy number 6 in subcontinent conditions even in tests, but I don't think he is better than others in the squad in *these conditions.* https://t.co/4OIHqXg7FG
— Gabbatoir, 21 (@meshcricket) August 29, 2021If this is not Mumbai lobby I dunno where is. There are people in pecking order. Hanuma and Mayank should get a chance before jumping onto Surya. He is a limited over batter, not a test batter. https://t.co/XgayFRZEpZ
— Navleen Kaur (@NavleenSpeaks) August 28, 2021What was more startling was the fact that how conveniently they overlooked players like Agarwal and Vihari who have been part of the Test side for a long time now and being a part of the original squad, both of them are definitely ahead in the pecking order.
With Kohli hinting at resting some of the players for the fourth test, we can expect to see some new faces but Suryakumar Yadav is currently way behind the pecking order.

Fashion has no gender. Or so we thought.
Unisex clothing is extremely uncommon even today. While women have widened their sartorial horizons by slipping into pantsuits and cargo pants (there’s hardly any men’s fashion item that women can’t or don’t pull off), some gender-based rules of fashion still exist for men.
© Instagram/Ranveer Singh
While there is a long road to making fashion totally genderless and androgynous, men have managed to break some fashion rules and gender stereotypes when it comes to style.
Although a man carrying a flowy skirt, heels or sling bag is still rare, some fashion stereotypes that used to repel men earlier are now being embraced by them.
© Dharma Productions
Here are four fashion stereotypes for men that are long gone and officially broken, for good:
1. Pink Is A 'Girly' Colour © Instagram/Isha Bhansali
The men’s section in any clothing store back in the day looked exceptionally dull and their wardrobe consisted of neutral colours like blues, greys, whites, browns and blacks.
However, now, men are now comfortable experimenting with pink, red and even neon hues. There are even wedding outfits and suits in pink that we have seen celebrities rocking.
The whole ‘pink is for girls and blue is for boys’ was a hoax anyway.
2. Bling is Off Limits © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor
Speaking of men’s clothing being dull, the only blingy, shiny outfit they ever wore was the sherwani at their wedding.
However, now, bling has made an appearance on jackets, suits and almost all partywear categories for men. Look at this statement jacket worn by Shahid Kapoor.
3. Florals Are Not 'Manly' © Instagram/Vicky Kaushal
Ugh! Why must we associate a print with one gender? The floral print is perfect for summer, beachwear and isn’t restricted to one gender.
Thankfully, floral shirts and tees have been one of the top trends in menswear for a couple of years and men are embracing this summer-perfect print as it should be.
4. Men’s Jewellery © Instagram/Whats Up Bollywood
Men have been wearing jewellery since the stone age. It was always a part of an Indian man’s attire. However, suddenly it became a woman’s thing and men were ridiculed for wearing chunky gold necklaces, unless they were rappers or Bappi Lahiri.
However, it is becoming a thing again and men are investing in cool dainty chains, rings, bracelets and earrings.

Bollywood celebrities are surmised to be a part of affluent families already. With their extravagant lifestyle, we often believe that this is what being mega-rich looks like.
But turns out, there are celebrities who hail from way more extravagant backgrounds than it appears. Sure, most of us know Saif Ali Khan already comes from a royal background, but there are several other actors in B-town who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Check it out:
1. Irrfan Khan © Instagram/Irrfan_Fc
Irrfan Khan was born as Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan and had blue blood in his veins.
Irrfan's mother came from the royal Tonk Hakim family, whereas his father was a rich zamindar. But, apparently, Irrfan was sort of 'embarrassed' about his royal lineage, and hence he dropped Sahabzade from his name.
2. Manisha Koirala © Instagram/Manisha Koirala
Not many know this, but even Manisha Koirala has a royal upbringing. Her origins are from Nepal, and her family is not only regal but has political prominence too.
Her grandfather and other two granduncles were said to be the Prime Ministers of Nepal. Even Manisha's father worked as a politician and was a minister of environment in Nepal once upon a time.
3. Saif Ali Khan © Instagram/Saif_FC
The list would be incomplete without mentioning Saif Ali Khan. Popularly called the Nawab Of Pataudi, he is the 10th Nawab after his father, Nawab Mohammad Mansoor Ali Khan Siddiqui Pataudi.
Saif's paternal grandmother Sajida Sultan was also a Begum Of Bhopal back in time.
4. Sonal Chauhan © Instagram/Sonal Chauhan
Sonal Chauhan was seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in the movie Jannat back in 2008. Even though she couldn't cement her place in the industry, it turns out that she actually belongs to a royal family.
The winner of Miss World Tourism 2005, the actress also has royal descent. She was born in a conservative, traditional Rajput family in Manipuri, Uttar Pradesh.
5. Sagarika Ghatge © Instagram/Sagarika Ghatge
Remember Saga, rika Ghatge who was seen in Chak De India? Sagarika. who is also the wife of former cricketer Zaheer Khan, has royal links.
Sagarika is the daughter of Vijaysingh Ghatge, and the Maharashtrian actress finds her roots in the Kahal family from Kohlapur. Coming from a royal family, Sagarika is the descendant of Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur.

Rajpal Yadav has proved all his haters wrong who thought he won’t be able to make his presence felt in the film industry. He made his debut in the year 1997 with a television show Svapnavāsavadattam which was a Sanskrit serial.
The actor gained his popularity with the movie Chup Chup Ke which also starred actors Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. He has gained enough recognition with his performances and people also accepted him as a lead actor in movies like Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon and Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh.
View this post on Instagram
He has mastered his craft over the years and has given us around 500 characters in his cinematic career. Rajpal’s recent films Coolie No 1 and Hungama 2 released on OTT platforms but he feels he doesn’t belong to this space as it relies too heavily on swearing. In an interview with TOI, he said he has earned ‘taalis’ without giving ‘gaalis’ on the big screen.
He said, “The trend of OTT has really caught on but I don’t see myself fitting into that space. The kind of web series that are being churned out in the past few years, I can’t relate to it. I don’t like giving gaalis (abusing) on screen, which has become quite common in the web series nowadays. Mujhe bina gaaliyon ke taaliyan mili hai apne kaam ke liye (I have fetched the accolades even without mouthing cuss words)."
View this post on Instagram
He added, "I don’t wish to do something I don’t appreciate in real life. I didn’t want to earn my living by bad-mouthing on screen and thankfully, I didn’t have to. I am very lucky that even after two decades people are not bored of watching me. I entirely credit my fans for keeping the actor in me alive."
In an earlier interview too, he had pointed out that people still have a craze for movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun. He said, “We’ve been born and brought up in hinterland India where people keep abuses handy. But in the last 5-7 years, we see how one can earn money for abusing on screen. I don’t need to use bad language as a means of earning or for entertainment. Only 3 percent of the audience enjoy that, the remaining 97 percent still like Hum Aapke Hain Koun.”

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the renovated Jallianwala Bagh Memorial complex in a virtual set-up and said that it is every country’s duty to protect its history as it helps "teach us and give us direction to move forward".
"The global developments remind us of the importance of self-reliance and self-confidence. At a time when we are celebrating Amrut Mahotsav, we should strengthen our nation's foundation and take pride in it," he said in the virtual conference.

Wreaths were laid and a two-minute silence was also observed in the memory of martyrs of the infamous 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
"Today, if any Indian is in trouble anywhere in the world, then India stands up to help him with all its might. Be it the Corona period or the crisis in Afghanistan, the world has experienced it continuously. Hundreds of people from Afghanistan are being brought to India under Operation Devi Shakti," PM Modi addressed the ongoing crises around the world and how India is participating in addressing those issues.

"Horrors like the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the partition speak of the sacrifices made for India's freedom and should not be forgotten as they inspire to keep the country above all. It is not right for any country to ignore such horrors of its past."
"We still feel the pain of what happened at the time of partition in every corner of India and especially in the families of Punjab," he said.

Quoting Gurbani, PM Modi said "We will have to work together for the progress of Punjab and the country in every sphere. Gurbani teaches us that happiness comes by serving others," he said, adding "virasat (heritage) and vikaas (development) must coexist".
However, not everyone shares PM Modi’s enthusiasm towards the revamping on the site as many view it as erasing the final few traces of the real event taking place at the venue:
Devastated to hear that Jallianwala Bagh, site of the Amritsar Massacre of 1919, has been revamped - which means that the last traces of the event have effectively been erased. This is what I wrote of the memorial in my book, describing a space that has now itself become history. pic.twitter.com/GypQfrOulq

— Kim A. Wagner (@KimAtiWagner) August 28, 2021Our history- being erased! Why?
— Preet Kaur Gill MP (@PreetKGillMP) August 28, 2021This is so sad to read. I have visited the Bagh to pay my respects and this feels like an attempt to erase history when there is no reason not to incorporate it & create a fitting memorial. You just have to look at Germany, 911 Memorial etc to know that it’s achievable. Sad

With India suffering a disappointing loss in the third Test in Leeds, it has exposed the frailties which have long existed in the team and were somewhat pushed under the carpet after a remarkable win at Lord’s.
The Indian think tank began the tour with two spinners and three pacers in the World Test Championship final, but have changed their mind since then, playing the first three Tests against England with four pacers and a solitary spinner in all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
© Instagram Indian Cricket Team
India’s batting suffered two collapses at Headingley on the first and fourth morning. While the first innings collapse saw them folding for 78 runs, it was the second innings collapse that no one saw coming because India were in a much better position with two set batsmen, Pujara and Kohli out in the middle.
The English fast bowlers, especially Ollie Robinson, ran riot with the second new ball on the fourth morning and sealed the match before lunch, helping the hosts levelled the five-Test series 1-1, heading into the fourth Test at the Oval.
© Instagram England Cricket
With Indian batters falling like a pack of cards not once but twice during the match, it was only logical that questions were raised at the batting unit. After the match, Kohli was asked if the team’s performance had changed his mind about going into the next match with an extra batsman and he categorically denied saying “I don’t believe in that balance” and that’s now how this team likes to play its cricket.
“I don't believe in that balance and I have never believed in that balance because either you can try and save a defeat or you can try and win a game. And we have drawn games in the past with a similar number of batters,” Kohli said during the post-match press-conference.
© Reuters
“If your top six (including keeper) don’t do the job there is no guarantee that the extra guy can bail you out. You have to take pride in taking responsibility and doing the job for the team. If you don't have the ability or resources to take 20 wickets in a Test match, then you are already playing for two results and that's not how we play,” he added.
While Kohli is adamant on keeping pushing with the same five-bowler formula, that doesn’t mean he was against the idea of making changes to the Playing XI at the Kennington Oval, London.
Watch the whole press-conference here:
When asked about the rotation of the players, the Indian skipper feels “it’s a logical thing to do and it’s bound to happen” as they don’t want to push players to their limits to a stage where they break down.
“That's bound to happen as it's a logical and sensible thing to do. We don't want to push individuals to a place where they break down and that conversation is important,” said the Indian talisman, who is trying to become the first Indian skipper to win a Test series in England since 2007.
“We will have that conversation with individuals and you can't expect that in a short turnaround like these guys can play four Test matches in a row. So, we will assess who are the guys who will be given that many number of days to recover and be okay for the fifth one,” said Kohli when asked about the prospect of resting key players.
© Reuters
Talking about changes we can expect in the next game, the first name that pops up is of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja making way for veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
The southpaw has played all four Tests on this tour so far, including the WTC final, and as per reports he injured his knee during the third Test and was taken for precautionary scans.
All these factors indicate that Ashwin is most likely to play his first game of the series and if the surface is very conducive for spin bowling India could also field two spinners but the chances of that happening are miniscule.
Bumble said Ravi Ashwin has a very high chance of playing next 2 matches.
Ashwin smiling hearing that. pic.twitter.com/nozMQpXcoC
— Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) August 27, 2021"One should drop their ego while playing in England" said Kohli. He makes such profound statements but doesn't pick Ravi Ashwin. He is too good a player who is also in terrific form to be missing out. #ENGvIND
— Kiran (@inquisitivekidd) August 29, 2021Shane Warne said India with current 2 spinners and 3 pacers, can take wickets on any surface and hence Ravi Ashwin should replace Ishant Sharma. (On Sky Sports).
— Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) August 28, 2021Ishant Sharma, India’s most-experienced fast bowler, looked out of rhythm and he might make way for Shradul Thakur in the next match, who started the first Test in Nottingham and did fairly well, even dismissing England skipper Joe Root.
© Reuters
Talking about the batting group, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are untouchable at the moment so they will keep their place as the openers. After a series of disappointments, Pujara got among the runs in the second innings in Leeds and missed out on his century by a close margin so he is also likely to get another game, with Kohli following him in the batting order.
Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant’s struggle is out there for everyone to see but both of them are mostly likely to get another chance to prove their worth.

The Empire revolves around the story of a young boy, Babur, who inherits the kingdom of Ferghana in modern-day Uzbekistan. Babur's character is shown over a span of 25 years on the show and Kunal Kapoor plays both the younger and older versions of him.
After the trailer of The Empire was dropped online, people couldn’t help but compare it with Game Of Thrones as they felt the director has taken inspiration from the popular show. The Empire boasts of an ensemble cast, which also includes Shabana Azmi, Drashti Dhami, Aditya Seal, and Dino Morea.
People went on to say that even the costumes and even a few scenes have been copied from Game Of Thrones. Kunal who is playing one of the leads found this comparison very tragic. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he said, “I think these are unnecessary comparisons. Comparisons will be made and it is tragic that it is Game Of Thrones because it is a fantastic show. Whenever you do a period drama like that it will be compared to something.”
View this post on Instagram
He went on to add, “Some will say it is like Padmaavat, Bajirao or Game Of Thrones, but it is a different story, it’s a different world, different characters different people. If people are comparing the scale (to GOT) then great, it’s wonderful, but I don’t think there is any other commonality between that show and this show.”
View this post on Instagram
In one of the earlier interviews, he had shed light on how he prepared for the role of Babur. He had said, “What was very interesting about the character was that he is physically strong but at the same time very emotional. He becomes the King eventually, but he always has this self-doubt of whether he deserves it. My character is depicted over a span of 25 years on the show. So, I had to play Babur at different ages. Young Babur was spontaneous, older Babur, on the other hand, would think a lot before making a decision. So, I had to balance both the acts."
People also want to boycott the show as they feel the makers have glorified the Mughals.

After being in a relationship with actor Kangana Ranaut for about a year, her Raaz: The Mystery Continues co-star Adhyayan Suman has spoken about the kind of mental, emotional and physical toll it took on him to be around her.
Now, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the 33-year-old actor has further opened up about having a toxic relationship with Ranaut and how difficult it was for him to get over that chapter of his life.
“I think there is a lot that happened in that particular relationship, emotionally,” Adhyayan told to Bollywood Bubble. “Bohot saalon tak jo kuch cheezein hui (Whatever happened, for many years), it was very difficult for me to get over. ‘Why did I move forward with this?’, ‘Yeh maine allow kyun kiya (Why did I allow this to happen)?’”, he continued.
“Eventually, the battle is not with the person, the battle is with yourself. And then you are constantly telling yourself ‘maine rok diya hota ya nahi kiya hota’, ‘maine kyun nahi baat suni’ (if only you had not done certain things or put a stop to them or listened to others),” he said, adding, “Of course, there was a humongous emotional turmoil there,” he told the portal.
Adhyayan credits his father and another reputed actor of his time, Shekhar Suman as the voice of sense, logic and rationale during his time in turmoil. It was his father who had made him see reason in moving on and getting over a relationship when it wasn’t meant for two people to be together.
Back in 2020, Suman’s name was once again dragged into the headlines when it was alleged that Kangana Ranaut was involved with substance abuse. Adhyayan had gone on Twitter to clarify that he had no intentions of getting involved such matters and would not want to dig up that part of his life.
My name has sprung up relating to an interview which I had given in 2016 !!!! People stop speculating and dragging me in this toxicity ! I have not filed any case against anybody ! I don’t intend to visit that dark phase of my life ! Please please I have moved on ! Let me be !

The OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar landed in big trouble after the release of its brand new series The Empire. The show is based on the book Empire of the Moghul: Raiders from the North by Alex Rutherford. It traces the story of emperor Babur, 'from the valley of Ferghana to Samarkand and beyond'.
The show has been created by National Award-winning filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and is directed by Mitakshara Kumar. Kumar has worked as an associate director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epics Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
The show stars Dino Morea, Kunal Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Drashti Dhami, Aditya Seal, Sahher Bambba, and Rahul Dev in the lead roles. Sadly, the show has opened to mixed reviews by critics and viewers.
People have been wanting to boycott the show as they feel it glorifies Mughals and they also want to uninstall Hotstar. According to social media users, the show is glorifying Babur, a ruler who killed many innocent Hindus.
Here’s how people are reacting on social media:

The narrative we are exploring is something none of the makers have ever attempted in the history of Indian entertainment and given this story a fictional and creative bent. It's overwhelming to see the trailer receive resounding praises and we hope that it makes for an unforgettable viewing experience.”

Elon Musk just intensified the ‘Space Battle of the Billionaires’ after calling out Jeff Bezos for filing lawsuits against his aerospace company SpaceX.
In early August, Bezos’ firm Blue Origin had sued NASA after losing a key government contract with the mission of taking astronauts to the Moon to Musk’s company, which caused a big delay for SpaceX's project to continue.
This past week, Bezos’ firm has knocked at the doors of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to rubbish SpaceX’s newly submitted plans to launch another cluster of satellites with the aim to strengthen Musk’s Starlink - a satellite internet service providing project.
While replying to a tweet with the above mentioned information, Musk added a cheeky remark on Twitter that is since making rounds on the internet that may have irked his billionaire rival a bit too much:
Turns out Besos retired in order to pursue a full-time job filing lawsuits against SpaceX …
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 27, 2021
“Turns out Besos [sic] retired in order to pursue a full-time job filing lawsuits against SpaceX …,” Musk wrote while replying to Christian Davenport, a space reporter for The Washington Post.
Musk’s words may be a bit misleading to say the least as the recent complaint filed by Amazon is not a formal lawsuit but more of a complaint about the lack of clarity in SpaceX’s planning and process execution.
At the moment, Starlink is serving around 90,000 customers around the world with 1,740 low earth orbit satellites. However, SpaceX is in the works to launch a trache of 30,000 satellites to make the service a lot better than it is at the moment.
Therefore, SpaceX are obligated to inform the FCC about where exactly in the orbit of the earth would they be placing these satellites. Bezos’ side argues that SpaceX is essentially trying to take approval for two very different orbital configurations which will allow them the convenience of choice at a later stage.
“SpaceX’s novel approach of applying for two mutually exclusive configurations is at odds with both the Commission’s rules and public policy and we urge the Commission to dismiss this amendment,” writes Mariah Dodson Shuman, corporate counsel for Amazon subsidiary Kuiper Systems.
This isn’t the first time Musk has spiced up his banter with Bezos on social media. Back in April, here’s how the Tesla inventor took another dig at his counterpart:
Can’t get it up (to orbit) lol

India suffered yet another batting collapse in the Leeds Test, losing their last eight wickets for just 63 runs on the fourth morning, as England registered a massive victory by an innings and 76 runs. Barring Day 3 when the Indian batters were able to keep English bowlers at bay, losing only two wickets, the visitors were thoroughly outplayed at Headingley.
England win the third #ENGvIND Test at Headingley & level the series 1-1 against #TeamIndia.
We will look to bounce back in the fourth Test, starting September 2.

After an unforgettable performance, there were a lot of questions that needed answering but skipper Virat Kohli made headlines with the way he responded to some of the questions asked by journalists during the post-match press-conference.

While it’s understood that a loss doesn’t make any team bad overnight but it sure does provide the side with an opportunity to introspect and analyse what went wrong as they look ahead towards the next match.
Talking about India’s batting performance, a journalist highlighted the fact that the majority of Indian batters got out driving the ball away from body and handed simple catches in the slip cordon. Looking at their similar mode of dismissals, he asked if players would be keen on playing on the backfoot and close to the body rather than leaning forward and driving the ball.
Here’s how the whole conversation unfolded:
“Virat you said England had more intent with the bat. So, do you think, going forward playing off the backfoot would be the part of the conversations,” asked the journalist.
Displeased with his question, Kohli, at first, dismissed it completely, before throwing a counter-question of his own.
“I honestly don’t know what to say to that question, to be honest,” Kohli said.
“How do you play a ball on the backfoot which is not back of length. If you’re getting 80 percent of the balls at length how do you play on the backfoot to a ball which is supposed to be played on the front foot,” Kohli responded.

“Obviously, England have been bowling full and on the pads, but when there have been opportunities to go back, India seems to be missing out on a lot of runs,” replied the journalist.
“OK, thanks,” said Kohli, before moving on to the next question.
Disappointed with Kohli’s treatment of the journalist, many fans took to the micro-blogging site and hit out at the Indian skipper’s arrogance and showing ego to a journalist who was only doing his job.
Bhai @imVkohli ,
Why you cannot face hard questions from journalists, they ask all relevant ques.
(Pathetic batting, failed middle order from long time)
You insult and abuse the journalists, instead score some runs.#ENGvsIND #resignkohli
— Rahul Medhi (@RahulMedhi14) August 29, 2021@ECB_cricket Well played!
As an ardent Indian cricket fan, don’t like this team captained by an arrogant & cocky captain ! Always picking up fights with opponents..Abusing journalists who ask difficult question! Sends Pant for press conferences on tough days not my captain !!
— Samrat Dasgupta (@SamratD83665894) August 28, 2021@imVkohli I am not a journalist. But, Pls learn to respect journalist first. You looks too arrogant or like monarch in press conference. You are not open for discussion and not ready to take even questions. All are logical and fans here wants to understand.
— Shankar Narayana (@NarayanaPrince) August 28, 2021Ohh I am not aware from this
Journalists are wrong , they must be sacked for india performance and asking questions to king kohli
— Kk (@breathe_OnlyAir) August 29, 2021The problem is not good bowling but the ego and arrogance @imVkohli has. Hearing him out on press conference after loss seems like its the mistake of journalists.
We watch to see india win not expressions of kohli and his so way out aggression.
— Harry (@Harry49126581) August 28, 2021Not just that, Kohli, who we know likes to be surrounded by people who speak the same melody, even tried to mock the journalist. When the senior journalist asked him a question, he began his reply by saying: “Thank you sir, now it feels like I’ve come to a cricket press-conference”.
After a spate of "stupid" questions, Virat Kohli says "thank God" when finally @sunandanlele sir comes on air. That shows the reputation of Lele sir. Sir ek request hai, baaki journalists ko bhi thodi cricket seekha do na pic.twitter.com/nFG5yMM1WS

No doubt Kohli knows more about cricket than most of us do and that’s why he is the captain of the Indian cricket team. But that doesn’t give him the right to say whatever he wants and pick on journalists and vent out his frustration on them during the press conference.

Also, it’s not a one-off incident that can be overlooked, Kohli has indulged in verbal fights with the journalists on many occasions in the past. Like he said, to succeed in England batsmen need to keep their egos in their pocket, it would be better if he follows the same philosophy during the press conferences as well.
