Comedian Bharti Singh may have managed to make it big in life, but she's had to overcome very difficult times while growing up. Bharti Singh grew up in extreme poverty and elaborating on the same, she said that at times there wasn’t any food for them to eat.

Recently, in an interaction with Maniesh Paul for his podcast, she spoke about how she grew up in poverty and how her family is still not accustomed to a lavish lifestyle.
    View this post on Instagram
Bharti said that her brother worked at a shop, her sister and mother worked in a factory where they sewed blankets. She also said that her mother cooked at other’s homes. Her sister and mother would at times work at their home as well and seeing all the huge blankets, Bharti didn’t feel like staying at home.

She said, “Ghar jaane ka mann nahi karta tha (I didn’t feel like going home). I would stay in college with my friends, and eat at the hostel. I knew once I go back, I would have to face poverty. Live in that dim light.”

She added, “We would make black tea and eat with parathas. Or eat roti and salt.”

Bharti said that her mother used to make dupattas for Mata Rani (decorative clothes for idols), and so there was the constant sound of a sewing machine at home. She said that the sound still haunts her on sets in costume rooms.
“I have lived in that noise for 21 years. I don’t want to ever go back there. I don’t have very big dreams but I keep praying to God that I am able to sustain what I have. We have eaten salt and roti but now we have dal, sabzi and roti. I just hope my family always has at least dal to eat. I will never want to face the situation or have my family go through that,” she told Maniesh.

She also said that when she bought an Audi Q5, her mother was angry, as she said that Innova had a bigger boot and if it rained, it will spoil the seats of the Audi because it has a sunroof. She laughingly also said that even now her mother gets happy if she gets free dhania when out vegetable shopping.

Now, Bharti Singh is extremely successful and makes all of us laugh through her jokes.

As the International Cricket Council announced the groups for the T20 World Cup on Friday, the biggest talking point was India and Pakistan being pooled in the same group. Indian cricket fans started celebrating soon and it was pretty much expected, given the rivalry between the two countries.
    🤩 Some mouth-watering match-ups in the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men's #T20WorldCup 2021

Which clash are you most looking forward to?

    — T20 World Cup (@T20WorldCup) July 16, 2021
What was not expected, however, was the fact that besides the T20 World Cup, people started talking about the Asia Cup and soon it became a trending keyword on the micro-blogging site.

Analyse the two groups carefully and you will understand the reason why people were all of a sudden interested in the Asia Cup -- which as the name suggests is a multi-nation event featuring only the Asian teams.
    © Twitter
While announcing the group, the ICC pooled three Asian countries India, Pakistan and Afghanistan in Group 2. But how does the Asia Cup come into the picture, you ask?

We all know that this year’s tournament will be played in two rounds -- Round 1 and Super 12.  The Round 1, which is sort of a qualifying round for the main event, will feature two Asian teams Sri Lanka and Bangladesh competing in different groups.
    The Men's #T20WorldCup 2021 groups are out

The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 12.

    Who are your picks?

    — T20 World Cup (@T20WorldCup) July 16, 2021
Apart from the eight countries which have earned automatic qualification, four teams from the qualifying Round 1 will reach the Super 12 stage.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are placed in Group A and B respectively and there is a possibility that both teams might end up in Group 2, which already has three other Asian countries India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
    © Reuters
Placed alongside Scotland, Papua New Guinea and Oman, Bangladesh are expected to win their Group B and looking at Sri Lanka’s current form and Ireland’s recent heroics against South Africa in a 50-over game, there is every chance that they might end up as the runners-up.

There are so many catches to it but if it goes this way, we’ll be watching a mini Asia Cup within the T20 World Cup.
    © Reuters
The 2021 Asia Cup was postponed after India reached the World Test Championship final and there was no other window left to conduct the tournament. But now that we might see it happening, albeit unintentionally, fans sarcastically praised the world body for accommodating both the tournaments in one event.

Some suggested that the winner of Group 2 should be crowned the Asian champions, while others felt cheated because they prepared for a world event but got a mini Asia Cup instead.
If Bangladesh finishes on top in Group B and Sri Lanka second in Group A, Group 2 in Super 12 will be an Asia Cup with NZ also participating. https://t.co/0bmRtfny94

It is mini Asia Cup in T20 World Cup

Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, NZ in same group

Winner of Group B to join them: Bangladesh expected
Runner-up of Group A: Sri Lanka & Ireland in Group A

The trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s sports drama piqued the interest of the viewers and people have now finally got to see the movie as it has been streaming online. The film follows the story of a former sports star rising from the ashes and proving to the world that nothing can stop him from achieving his dreams.

Farhan plays the role of a local goon, Aziz Ali, whose life changes when he meets the love of his life, Ananya played by Mrunal Thakur. She pushes him to follow boxing and he soon becomes a star in the ring. He is at the peak of his boxing career when a twist in his fate pushes him down. Paresh Rawal plays the role of Nana Prabhu who trains Aziz Ali.
Since the movie has been streaming online for a while now, people have been sharing their opinions on social media. There were people who weren’t pleased by the fact the movie was predictable and also questioned the ideology behind the Love-Jihad angle. Some people also felt that the script wasn’t up to the mark.

However, a lot of people have appreciated Farhan's hard work as they were impressed by his massive transformation. They are saying that Farhan has inspired them once again in Toofaan after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. People have also been hailing the performances by the lead actors. They think Farhan, Mrunal, and Paresh have put their best foot forward.

In an interview earlier, Farhan had revealed what attracted him to pick up this character. He'd said, “His emotional, mental and spiritual journey attracted me to the character. Boxing is very exciting and makes for great viewing in movies. I always have been a fan of boxing films. Beyond that, there has to be substance and the drama has to be correct. In this film, the relationship that Aziz Ali has with Paresh Ji or Mrunal’s character is something that managed to strike a chord with me. If you ask me personally, the growth of Aziz Ali and his coach's character is the heart and soul of the film. The journey of these two characters defines Toofan. This is what excited me.”

The trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s sports drama piqued the interest of the viewers but it seems like the movie hasn’t been able to impress them. The film follows the same template of a former sports star rising from the ashes that we have already seen in many other movies.

Farhan plays the role of a local goon, Aziz Ali, whose life changes when he meets the love of his life, Ananya played by Mrunal Thakur. She pushes him to follow boxing and he soon becomes a champion in the ring. He is at the peak of his boxing career when a twist in his fate pushes him down. Paresh Rawal plays the role of Nana Prabhu who trains Aziz Ali.
Well, the actors have done a great job but are held back by the predictable script. People who have watched the movie echo the same emotions and have also shared their opinions as to why they didn’t like the movie.
    1. Love Jihad AnglePeople questioned the whole concept of love-jihad and felt that the director could have made the film without adding the Hindu-Muslim love story angle. One of the Twitter users even went on to say how could Paresh Rawal take up a role wherein Hindus are shown so intolerant.

    2. Lack Of Chemistry Between The Lead Pair People also felt that both Farhan and Mrunal lacked chemistry in their love story and it looked forced on the screen. People loved their acting skills but it was the lack of chemistry that turned them off.
    © Twitter
    3. Below Average Script And Predictable EventsPeople also felt that the script wasn’t up to the mark. They felt it was very generic and dull. Some also felt that the director didn’t focus on the real boxing much and instead relied on too many cliches in the story.

Nonetheless, there are some people who are appreciating the movie and calling it a blockbuster.

What do you have to say about it? Let us know in the comments section below.

Bollywood has given us some great movies with fantastic storylines, but there have also been times when the films have been so baseless and illogical that we ended up cringing hard.
It's certainly hard to predict which movie is the best and which one is the worst since trailers are sometimes quite contradictory. Hence, we took IMDb's help to give you a list of the top 8 worst movies of Bollywood, which are the lowest-rated.
    1. Radhe (2021) © Zee Studios
Let's start with Radhe because why not? The movie was so bad that even Salman's father didn't appreciate it.

The film was released on May 13th and also scored the lowest 1.8 IMDb rating. This is also Salman's second lowest-rated movie after Race 3.
Talking of its storyline, if you have watched Dabangg or any other related film, you will understand why we don't even want to get into its details.
    2. Sadak 2 (2020) © Vishesh Films
Even before Sadak 2 was released, it was declared a flop.

Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2 is a sequel to Sadak, a part-romance and part-thriller, which tries very hard to integrate scenes from the first movie but turned out to be a big failure.
The movie was met with so much criticism that its rating on IMDb is only 1.1.
    3. Welcome To New York (2018) © Wiz Films
It's easy to surmise that a good lineup of actors in a movie can make it a success, but that's not true.

The cast of Welcome To New York includes Boman Irani, Karan Johar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sonakshi Sinha etc. Despite that, if you can sit through this long movie, we applaud your patience.
As per IMDB, this movie's rating is 1.5 only.
    4. Jodi Breakers (2012) © Prasar Visions Pvt. Ltd
Even though Jodi Breakers happened a long time ago, the people who watched it only know the 'impact' it left on them.

The story is about a couple who break relationships. They do divorces to earn money. If this doesn't say enough about why it was a flop, we don't know what will.
Also, the rating? It's only 3.5.
    5. Himmatwala (2013) © UTV Motion Pictures
You have to be a Himmatwala yourself to watch this movie.

The original film was rage, but the new version, starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah, was so bad that it only received a 1.7 rating.
Even the critics bashed the actors, and it was a flop at the box office as well.
    6. Humshakals (2014) © Pooja Entertainment
For a film that was supposed to be a rib-tickler, this movie failed big time and received only a 1.7 rating on IMDb.

The movie starts with Saif Ali Khan performing a stand-up comedy in London, but the jokes are so bad, half the people left the theatres right after this scene.
    7. Love Story 2050 (2008) © T-series
No debut could be worse than Harman Baweja's Love Story 2050, that scored a 2.6 rating.

The movie takes you into the future, and while it tries too hard to show flying cars and high rise buildings, the dialogues are obnoxiously bad.
"Your life is like a hot dog without a sausage" is one of them. Oh, also, it runs for three hours and twenty minutes. We wish you good luck!
    8. Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag (2007) © K Sera Sera Limited
The movies made by Ram Gopal Varma often sound like a project on him.

Nonetheless, no matter how hard he tries, these films by the director have only tanked at the box office. Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag scored the lowest, 1.7 IMDb rating and was also one of the most regretful projects of Amitabh Bachchan's.

One of the few things most people notice when they first meet you are your lips.
Chapped and dry-looking lips can be a major turn off and can imply that you don’t really take good care of yourself. You can invest in an expensive aftershave and a couple of moisturisers, but unless your lips look soft and moisturised, you are missing out on those brownie points, buddy.
    © iStock
Getting yourself a good lip balm that keeps your lips hydrated throughout the day is extremely important. If you are big on homemade and natural stuff, you can whip up some good natural ingredients from your kitchen and make your own DIY lip balm.

    © iStock
Believe us, it’s super easy and would save you so much effort and money.

Here are 3 natural lip balms that you can totally make at home and keep your lips looking healthy and soft at all times:
    1. Honey & Vitamin E © iStock
Honey is an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and a moisturising ingredient that can save your lips from infection while keeping them soft and supple.

Vitamin E, on the other hand, can lighten dark lips and keep them healthy.
Get a Vitamin E capsule and squeeze out the oil. Next, mix some honey and grated beeswax into it. Pour it in an empty chapstick or a small jar and use it daily.
    2. Coconut Oil & Mint © iStock
You must be having a jar of coconut oil sitting on a shelf somewhere in your home. Put it to good use and make a lip balm out of it.

Melt some coconut oil in a bowl and add a few drops of peppermint essential oil and some petroleum jelly. Let it cool and apply whenever your lips feel dry.
Coconut oil is a natural moisturiser that keeps your lips nourished and heals chapped skin.
    3. Vanilla & Almond Oil  © iStock
Almond oil is another beneficial natural oil that helps cracked lips. You can make your own flavoured lip balm by adding some vanilla extract to it.

Take some sweet almond oil into a bowl and add a few drops of vanilla extract to it. You can also add some rose water for fragrance and extra benefits.
Use the mixture of parched lips to keep them healthy and soft.

How many times have you dated a woman and noticed that she may have some quirks that would often come up in conversations or actions, which have nothing to do with you at all? Maybe it was when she got a little too possessive when you’ve given her no reason to be insecure? Or could be her trying to bail out of a perfectly fine relationship because she was scared?

© Ram Gopal Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Well, it could be that you have on your hands is a partner with the infamous ‘daddy issues’.

It’s when your partner may have dealt with a distant father while growing up and now, either projects their own insecurities or fears on your relationship or, chooses a similar spouse as their father, in hopes of working out their adult relationship, in a form of finally winning their father’s approval and love.
    © T-Series
But before you go about confronting your partner about it, it’s always good to first be sure.

Here are 4 signs to look out for if you think your partner is dealing with daddy issues -
    1) She’s Attracted To Older Men © T-Series
One of the most telling signs for daddy issues, but not the only one, is that most women dealing with such issues find themselves drawn to older men in their lives.

Study says it could be because they have had an absent father figure while growing up, and somewhere deep down, always feel the need to fill that space.
    2) She’s Too Possessive At Times © MAD Entertainment
Seeing your partner hot and bothered, even a tad bit jealous is endearing in its own way. But when that possessiveness and jealousy transcends every other emotion, it is when your partner might be displaying signs of having daddy issues.

Something that stems out of her need for attention that she would constantly want to be satisfied.

Having felt abandoned in childhood, those who deal with daddy issues often fear being alone in their lives. And for that very reason, staying single doesn’t come easy to them.

In fact, they may even find themselves becoming serial daters, because handling a break up and being by their lonesome haunts them.

Many times, subconsciously, a person struggling with daddy issues would end up sabotaging perfectly good and healthy relationships.

Not because they would have a problem with it, but simply because they wouldn’t be used to what actually happy and healthy relationships are like, having experienced something completely different in their prime years while growing up.
Now, chances are that if your partner is displaying most of these behaviours, they might be dealing with certain daddy issues in their life. Which, no matter how it seems, is never easy to live with.
But that is where you come in, for if there is anyone who can help them walk through this, it is you.
Here are 3 ways to keep in mind when you’re dating someone with serious daddy issues:
    1) Tread With Patience & Support © MAD Entertainment
It is a fact that no one can actually ‘fix’ you, but it always helps when you have a partner who is willing to stand with you while you figure your way out.

If you believe your partner is struggling with daddy issues, you might already be aware of their fears and traumas. Use that knowledge to address their concerns and make sure you make them feel loved and heard.

Fights, arguments and heated discussions can go south very fast, especially between couples. It is then that you have to remind yourself to never use her daddy issues against her, because it is a part of her life that she has no control over.

A strained relationship with fathers leaves a lot of children with life-long scars and the last thing your partner wants is to be ridiculed over a part of their life they are still not over.
    3) Take Professional Help © Red Chillies Entertainment
As much as you try to be there for your partner, and even offer them unmatched support and understanding, it is best to recommend professional help.

A therapist might be in a better position to help your partner work through their issues in the longer run.

Monster-collecting games have been on the rise ever since the genre became mainstream thanks to Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and other monster-collecting games. Now, the most logical franchise to take a step towards the genre happens to be Monster Hunter and trust me when I say this, it was high time we finally got to see it in the form of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

Monster Hunter Stores 2: Wings of Ruin may just be one of the best monster-collecting games that may have come out in recent years, even giving Pokemon a run for its money simply because the developers have taken extra care at implementing mechanics Pokemon fans have been wanting for years. In fact, Capcom has improved upon many of the best elements you would find in monster-collecting JRPGs.
The beauty of this game is that it appeals to almost every kind of player. Whether you’re familiar with the Monster Hunter franchise or not, this game demands your attention even if you disregard it as just another monster-collecting game.

Having said that, there are some improvements needed in the combat system. For starters, you cannot control the move types of your monsties which gets very annoying after some time. Instead, you would see monsties fighting amongst each other using weak attacks that would often make me look away from the screen and scroll Twitter on my phone. You also don’t see the health bar of any new monstie you encounter in the world. I would often make fatal decisions as I would never know how much health the enemy monstie would have left after taking some damage.

Collecting monsters also does not work the same way as it does in Pokemon. You need to head to several dungeons that contain eggs that later hatch into monsties you can use. These dungeons are randomised most of the time and are of different sizes. You can also get rare eggs from these dungeons which hatch into powerful monsties that you can use in your battles. In total, there are 128 creatures that you can collect. Every creature comes with its own different stats and abilities which you can leverage throughout the game.
