Kyle Jamieson made his international debut last year and seems to have taken to international cricket like a duck to water, establishing himself as an integral part of Kane Williamson’s side that conquered the world.

The six-foot-eight fast bowler from Auckland continued his dream run in the longest format as he featured in the WTC final and went home with the Player of the Match award as New Zealand defeated India to become the first-ever world Test champions.
Move over Two Metre Peter! Meet NZ's *new* tallest cricketer Kyle Jamieson 2.03 metres (6'8) in jandals #FordTrophy pic.twitter.com/eLbZFMWz4U
    — BLACKCAPS (@BLACKCAPS) January 16, 2016 He was the most successful bowler in the match, with seven wickets, which included a five-wicket haul. He got rid of Indian skipper Virat Kohli in both the innings and made headlines around the world for outfoxing the modern day great with his variations.
Around the same time, the story of how Jamieson refused to bowl to Kohli with a Dukes ball in the RCB nets during the first-half of the IPL 2021 also started doing rounds on the internet, which earned him applause.

We all have heard many times ‘don’t believe everything you hear’ but now we know why.

As per Jamieson’s own admission, it was only the half-truth and Dan Christian, his teammate at RCB, made up some stuff on his own to make it a more sellable story.
“No, it wasn’t so much him asking. I think it was Dan just sort of adding some stuff for a good story. We were just talking about it at the start of the IPL with the cricket coming up with our UK tour and theirs as well and I mentioned that I had some Dukes balls, he had some Dukes balls as well,” Jamieson told Sporting News.
    © Instagram Blackcapsnz
“He just said look at the back end if we want to do some training, we'll do that but there was no specificity around me bowing to him or, or giving him a look, but whether he was insinuating something that’s something he could tell you but obviously quite a funny story that’s unfolded,” he added.

After Jamieson suggested that the story was somewhat embellished, Indian fans started going after him and joked that it was a desperate bid to save his multi-million dollar IPL contract with the Bengaluru-based franchise.

Now everything is done and dusted and Jamieson took Kholi's wicket twice and india did loss all important wtc final,,, so now he is speaking nicely for upcoming IPL, but india should have aggressive intention against NW and must win future icc tournaments

    — Trashit Gupta (@gupta_trashit) July 1, 2021 Jamieson’s stocks have skyrocketed in the last year and in his brief career of eight Test matches, he has already picked up 46 wickets, which also includes five fifers.
Given his steep rise, the sky is the limit for the tall pacer and if we were to give him any advice, we would suggest him to stay away from people like Dan Christian because he got away this time, but might not be as lucky again.

In another bizarre episode, an Indonesian mother has gone viral after saying that she watches pornographic videos with her sons to educate them about ***.

Yuni Shara, a 49-year-old popular pop star in the country revealed during an interview with YouTuber Vienna Melinda that she watches porn with her kids.
After saying this, it came as no surprise that her comments had raised several eyebrows across the globe.
Not only this, she even discussed the impact of porn on children.
Yuni Shara said children can't stay away from pornographic content these days, and that it's best to not tell them off if parents catch them watching adult content.
She said, “My children also happen to be open-minded. It's impossible for our children nowadays to not watch porn, whether it's 'anime' or any other kind that are available nowadays.”
    Checkout the video here-

According to CNN Indonesia, Shara said that she lets her sons watch porn freely and even watches it with them in order to educate them.

However, she also admitted that she took it too far with them.
She said, “What do you guys think about watching together like this, is it cool?" to which they reply: "Mom, don't be like this.”
Shara’s style of parenting stirred a controversy on social media but was also praised by Agstried Piether, who is a well-known child and adolescent education expert from an institute in Indonesia.
Agstried Piether commented saying, “Yep, that’s correct. When we see the kids watching pornographic movies, no matter how uncomfortable the situation is, we should never be angry, because they will only do it again in secret.”
She said, "Through the discussion, parents can provide factual *** education, based on science, not based on pornographic films.”

The public beta is free for everyone to use on Apple devices that support the latest update.
Having said that, do keep in mind that iOS 15 is still in Beta which means you may come across bugs and app crashes since it's still in the testing phase. We recommend taking a backup of your current device before loading the public beta on your devices. If you want to check out watchOS 8 public beta, you will first need to upgrade your paired iPhone to iOS 15 Public Beta first.
Since it’s still a public beta, not all features announced at WWDC 2021 will be available just yet. Features will roll out in stages as new updates are made available until the official release.

Click on the ‘Sign Up’ button and you will be asked to enter your Apple ID credentials to enrol your device.

After your device has restarted, you will then be asked to upgrade to iOS 15 public beta which you can do by heading to Settings > General > Software Update and tap to install.

Users will also be able to use portrait mode in FaceTime calls where your background gets blurred. Apple will also be adding Spatial Audio to FaceTime as well. The weather app is also getting a new design as well. Users will also be able to use the iPhone’s camera or any other image stored to identify and find more information on objects, landmarks, and plants.

The disappointing loss at the hands of New Zealand in the World Test Championship final is a tough pill to swallow for the billions of Indian cricket fans across the globe.
Team India, which dominated the league stage of the inaugural WTC, catapulted in front of Kane Williamson’s New Zealand side and every cricket fanatic wants to know the reason behind it.
    © Twitter ICC
Was it a lack of intent, as skipper Virat Kohli said in the post-match conference, or was it due to lack of preparation or was it because Indian players took their opposition lightly?

These and many other questions are popping up with each passing day but no one really knows who to point the finger at.
    © Twitter ICC
But batting legend Sunil Gavaskar seems to have found the reason as to why India lost the match.

India went into day six (reserve day) of the match with eight wickets in hand and needed to bat for long enough to ensure they didn't lose the match, but they didn’t show enough patience and decided to take unnecessary risks which led to their downfall.
    © ICC
Kohli, in his post-match conference, had questioned the lack of intent shown by the players and emphasised on keeping the scoreboard ticking instead of just playing dot balls.

While Kohli didn’t take any names, it was clear that he was targeting Cheteshwar Pujara who played a lot of deliveries but didn’t score enough runs.
    © Reuters
Gavaskar had questioned Kohli’s assessment and argued that Pujara wasn’t the only culprit and it was collective failure of the batting group that cost India the game.

He also warned Indian players to learn from their mistakes or else they would suffer the same consequences against England in the upcoming Test series, which begins in August.

"In batting, the patience that is needed for Test cricket, for five days, we saw it slightly lacking. And because of that, there was a willingness to play shots and that’s what got our batsmen out. When the ball is not moving in air or off the pitch, you can reach the pitch of the ball and play shots. But when there is movement, you need to be a bit patient. And had we shown it, the result could have been something else," Gavaskar said on Sports Tak.
    © Reuters
The conditions were tough to bat on the first four days, (Day 1 was abandoned without a ball bowled) and the batsman played with caution. However, when the conditions improved on the last day, the Indian batsmen lost their discipline and went after the ball and got out playing lucrative shots.

    © Reuters
"I'm talking about the batting on the final day. For the first four days, batting was very tough. You bring any batsman to play, and he would have had a tough time. But when on the final day, the sun was out, and even the grass did not exist. Yet everyone tried to play their shots and we lost eight wickets," said the batting legend, who was the first player to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket.

    © Reuters
After the WTC final, the Indian players have been given a 20-day official break by the BCCI and they are enjoying their time exploring the country and are expected to gather on July 14 after which they’ll begin their preparations for the five-Test series against Joe Root’s side in England.

Pretty much everyone remembers seeing Imran Khan star as the boy next door in films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gori Tere Pyaar Me, Break Ke Baad, Ek Mai Aur Ek Tu through the years.

Abhinav, who was speaking just a day prior to Delhi Belly's marking 10 years of the successful release, said he felt really bad about Imran's decision.

"I felt sad as I have high regard for that man. He is a great guy and there is anyway a shortage of good people in this world. He is one of the good guys and he should be there in this industry."
"He is a talented guy, whether in front of the camera or behind it. He is a trained filmmaker and a writer too. I feel he should get his creativity out in any form that he can. But I did feel bad that he did not want to act anymore,” said Abhinav.
The director also explains how Imran's decision wasn't a knee-jerk one and that he had even been turning down many of his films.
“As a matter of fact, Imran refused a couple of my films because he said he was stopping acting and I was taken back a bit by that, otherwise he would have been a part of one of my films four years back."
"But he didn’t want to go down that route at all as he was reinventing himself. I think every person has a process and I am sure we will see some spectacular work from him in the future,” said Abhinav.
Whatever he decides to do next, we wish him all the best.

Rhea Chakraborty turned 29 today. Like any other celebrity, Rhea has had her fair share of experiences before venturing into Bollywood. The young actor established her place in the industry with movies like Jalebi, Sonali Cable and Bank Chor. But, for the uninformed, Rhea didn't kickstart her career with Bollywood. Even before she turned an actress, her first-ever stint was as a contestant on a teen show named MTV Teen Diva.

Rhea came into the limelight after this show. She was the runner up with Apeksha Porwal taking the title of Teen Diva home. But, Rhea rose to fame from this point. She became the face of MTV and was hired as a VJ by the brand. She was also the youngest host on the channel, and she did shows like Gone In 60 seconds, Tic-Tac College Beat, and Pepsi MTV Wassup.

Today on the occasion of her birthday, let's take a look at Rhea's journey in the industry.
    © Instagram/Rhea Chakraborty
    1. Rhea was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, but since her dad was in the army, her family travelled to different cities. She spent most of her time in Ambala, where she also started her education. It was 2009 when Rhea first participated in MTV Teen Diva. Since she was only 17, she mentioned in an interview that she would take her books on the sets as she was studying simultaneously.

    2. After being the first runner up and participating as VJ on MTV, she was recognised for her talent amongst the young people. In one of the episodes of Gone in 60 Seconds, Ayushmann and VJ Jose had to imitate Bollywood actors and say I love You, Rhea. It was quite a fun video!
In another fun video, we saw Bani J and Rhea promote Wildcraft bags. She indeed seemed adept at it.

    3. Rhea's first debut movie wasn't in Bollywood. In fact, she was a part of a Telugu movie, Tuneega Tuneega, in 2012. The next year, she ventured into Bollywood with Mere Dad Ki Maruti, which unfortunately tanked at the box office.

An unknown fact about her is that Rhea had also auditioned for Band Baaja Baarat. Sadly she was rejected, but since she was persistent, she bagged smaller roles in music videos, and one of them was Ayushmann Khurrana's song, O Heeriye.

    4. Later on, she bagged a role in Bank Chor and also did a cameo in Half Girlfriend, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Rhea was last seen in Jalebi, a romantic drama film that was an official remake of Praktan.

    5. Rhea's name came up often in 2020 due to Sushant Singh Rajput's case, but the actress didn't lose her spirit and continued to fight the battle. After a long break from movies, Rhea will be seen in a mystery thriller, Chehre, directed by Rumi Jaffrey. The movie cast also includes Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.

Taapsee Pannu has always been vocal about her opinions and when asked about her take on certain things, she has never shied away from voicing what's truly on her mind.
However, as is the case with most celebrities, trolls have been flocking the Pink actress because of her opinionated nature, and she has often found herself on the receiving end of hate comments.
Recently, Taapsee came in defence of Kareena Kapoor Khan who was targetted by trolls and haters for reportedly hiking her fee for playing the role of Sita.
    View this post on Instagram
There were reports that Kareena has doubled her fee for the role.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Bebo who usually asks in the Rs 6-8 crores range for her films has quoted a sum of Rs 12 crores which have put the producers in a tizzy. In fact, right now, they are reconsidering their decision and also taking the film to a younger actress, as well. But talks are on and Bebo remains the first choice.”
    © Instagram/Kareena Kapoor Khan
The source added, "Sita will need at least 8-10 months of prep, shoot, and production. So, she will be completely consumed by one film at that point but Bebo also realizes that this will be her biggest magnum opus till date, as it's a retelling of Ramayana from Sita's point of view.”

    View this post on Instagram
People were to quick bash the actor but according to Taapsee, Kareena is well within her right to hike her fee as she is one of the biggest female stars in the industry.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Taapsee gave three strong statements as to why it’s completely okay for Kareena to increase her fee and why she is defending her:
    1. Taapsee said that if a man would have hiked his fee, people would have celebrated his success saying that he is growing.
“If it would have been a man in that position, who would have asked for a particular amount, it would have been looked upon like, 'iski market badh gayi hai (his worth has improved)'. Like that guy has really achieved big success in life.”
    © Instagram/Taapsee Pannu
    2. She validated her statement further saying that it has become a hyped-up thing because she is a woman and hence, people are calling her 'demanding'.

“But because a woman is asking for it, she's called 'difficult', 'too demanding'. It's always like that,” said Taapsee.
    View this post on Instagram
    3. She made her stance even stronger by saying that men who are doing mythological characters aren’t doing it for free.
“You'll always read about this problem issue of hiked salary with women. But why not? She is one of the biggest female superstars we have in the country. If she commands a certain salary for her time, it's her job. Do you think any other mythological characters that are played by men, do you think they do it for free? I don't think so."
    © Bhansali Productions
We completely agree with her statements. We are stating an example of a historical movie titled Padmaavat. Deepika Padukone was paid Rs 13 crores for the role, whereas Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor were paid Rs 10 crores each.

And after the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor hiked his fees too, so, why did no one make a big deal out of it?
What are your thoughts about it? Let us know in the comments section below.

Thanks to the magic of technology and the internet, ordering food is just a click away. Your mindless, aimless hunger has a full stop courtesy the plethora of options available online and the food delivery apps helping us find the right place to order, not to forget the little discounts that fall in our kitty are an added bonus. However, as a consumer and a regular user of these food delivery apps, it is possible that there are some mistakes you might be making as elaborated by a former food delivery agent. In an interview with Insider, a former delivery agent pointed out the most common mistakes people make while ordering via these apps and it includes points like lack of clarity when mentioning the house address. According to Annie Smith, who worked for a US delivery company called Postmates, app users feel that it is not a big deal when they don’t keep the entrances of their houses well lit. This, however, becomes a problem for your delivery agent who has trouble locating your address. Annie recalls that she had to often walk in dark streets to locate the correct address.

    © Twitter
The next common mistake is the lack of delivery instructions for an order. This includes not mentioning gate pass codes, if any, or landmarks, or like a floor number etc. this becomes an added headache for your delivery agent who has trouble locating your address if it’s a corner house at the end of the street or like in a  gated community.  So besides navigation issues, the next common mistake according to her that most users commit is not tipping enough for the rider. All food delivery apps in India have an option of choosing to tip your rider and it looks like it’s a common issue in the US as well, where riders feel they aren’t tipped well.

    © Twitter
The last and another common mistake as pointed out by her is that most people feel weary of ordering food during a rush hour or peak traffic hours, thinking that their order will be delivered in a longer period of time than they estimate. However, that’s not always true as during busy hours, the app services have more drivers on call, so that means there’s a big chance that your order might be delivered sooner than you expected. While these mistakes have been pointed out keeping the American demography and consumer culture in mind, if we think about it, then the scene back home in India also seems pretty similar. How many of these common mistakes are you guilty of committing?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve stumbled upon the familiar melodies and fresh production style of Enjoy Enjaami, the superhit track by Dhee and Arivu. The song has amassed a massive 250 million views on YouTube alone and has spawned countless trends, reactions and covers across most popular social media platforms.

Pairing excellent storytelling with conscious lyricism, Enjoy Enjaami’s eclectic sounds serve as the vehicle for its deserved success. Here are 4 things that contribute to making this song a smash hit:
Fresh Music - Dhee tenderly serves us the hook of the song, ‘Coocoo Coocoo’, reeling you in closer with each repetition. It blends excellently with Arivu’s maverick lyrical delivery, as he weaves in and out of verses. The music retains a distinct indigenous flavour to it , while its Afrobeat and hip hop elements provide the much needed earcandy this song is built on. Southern legend (and Dhee’s father), Santhosh Narayanan cannot be lauded enough for bringing this track to life.
    View this post on Instagram
Visually Rich and Stunning - The strong visuals that accompanied the track bolstered the entire experience. Amith Krishnan’s decision to skip out on excessive luxe and braggadocious treatment associated with rap music, was an inspired one. Instead we’re treated to scenes of lush greens interspersed with tribal choreographic elements, making the entire video a treat, sweeter with each successive viewing.
    View this post on Instagram
Strong Meaning and Cultural Significance - What makes Enjoy Enjaami special is that it isn’t a song that drones about the mundaneness of life. Instead it’s a beckoning call, a celebration of life and liberation of the individual. The colonial history as well as the struggles and pride of the Tamil plantation workers are brought to the fore with Dhee and Arivu’s verses.
    View this post on Instagram
DJ Snake ups the ante - This already viral hit found itself receiving increasing attention when DJ Snake remixed the song for his fans. This coming together of Indian and French talents was released on world music day as part of Spotify’s singles program in India.  And in the process it became the first-ever Independent Tamil song to get featured on Times Square.
    View this post on Instagram
Music is often touted and romanticized as a universal language, but not many songs do justice to that notion as Enjoy Enjaami does. It goes to show that even if you can’t understand something, music finds a way for you to feel it.

A prototype flying car has completed its first 35-minute test flight between two airports in Nitra and Bratislava, Slovakia.
It’s called the ‘AirCar’ and the prototype is a hybrid car-aircraft that can turn into an aeroplane by pressing a single button. The car is equipped with a BMW engine and run on regular petrol-pump fuel.
    © Klein Vision
In a release from the company, Klein said, “This flight starts a new era of dual-transportation vehicles. It opens a new category of transportation and returns the freedom originally attributed to cars back to the individual.”

The creator, Prof Stefan Klein said the AirCar can fly for about 1,0000 km at a height of 8,200 feet.
The prototype has already clocked some 40 hours in the air, so far. The AirCar takes around two minutes and 15 seconds to transform into a flying aircraft.

The narrow wings fold down along the side of the car and Prof Klein drove the prototype straight off the runway into town.
In the air, the AirCar was able to reach a cruising speed of 170km/h and can carry up to two people with a combined weight of 200kgs. The ‘AirCar’ takes off and lands like a traditional place wherein it cannot land or take off vertically.
    © Klein Vision
This is not the first time we have seen a working flying car, however, the ‘AirCar’ resembles a traditional car in design mores than any we’ve seen so far.

In 2019, consultant company Morgan Stanley predicted the sector will be worth $1.5trillion by 2040 and is the next frontier in public transportation.
Flying cars are expected to reduce strain on existing transport systems such as trains, buses and air travel.
    © Klein Vision
In terms of safety, the AirCar comes with a ballistic parachute and will receive the EASA CS-23 aircraft certification with an M1 road permit.

The current prototype is running a 160HP BMW engine, however, the pre-production model of its next iteration is said to receive a 300HP engine.
The second Prototype is expected to have a cruise speed of 300km/h and a range of 1000km.
