One of the better trends started by the Board of Control for Cricket in India was to vlog the numerous experiences that the Indian cricketers come across as they make their way through an overseas tour, or host an international team at home.
As the Men and Women in Blue made traveled to England for their respective red-ball matches, the official Twitter handle of the Indian cricket board, once again, shared a video, which included their time at the Mumbai International airport, the charter plane that was organised for the two squads, their in-flight meals, the bus journey from the airport to the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground and finally, of the athletes settling in their respective rooms ahead of a three-day quarantine.

While most of the cricketers remained diplomatic and spoke about how everything was “good”, pacer Mohammed Siraj turned out to be the real one as he expressed his issues with his teammate and Team India veteran, Rohit Sharma not letting him sleep.
“We just landed at Heathrow (Airport) and it is a two-hour journey to the hotel,” said Siraj. “I slept for two hours but then Rohit Bhai came and woke me up and after that, I couldn’t sleep. Two hours before landing I felt a bit sleepy again. I am a bit tired because yesterday we do heavy running session (sic).”

Axar Patel, who was the x-factor during England’s tour in India a couple of months ago, also expressed his journey in the luxurious charter plane which was arranged for the team.

“Slept really well. I watched a movie for the first two hours and after that I was able to sleep for six hours. Right now, I am having my breakfast and am feeling extremely fresh,” said the spinner.

“After reaching the venue, the plan is to get quarantined. For now, all we know is that we can’t meet anybody for the next three days, we have to remain under quarantine for the next three days,” he added with a grin on his face.

Team India will take on the New Zealand squad in a one-off World Test Championship between 18 and 22 June at Southampton. While Virat Kohli and Co. won’t be having any practice matches ahead of the big game, their opponents are currently dominating England at Lord’s Stadium.

The phenomenon of doppelgangers is not new, and Bollywood certainly has had a taste of it. We have seen multiple instances of lookalikes of superstars, who often have been spotted doing impressions of the original stars, sometimes as a full-time livelihood.

While it's slapstick comedy most of the time, there are instances of the doppelganger doing such an incredible job, that even hardcore fans sometimes have a hard time telling the real from the fake.

If you spotted Ibrahim Qadri on the street all of a sudden, it's likely that you'd do a double take and scream, thinking you've just spotted the one and only Shah Rukh Khan in the middle of the road out of nowhere (given you're a fan, of course, but if you're not, are you okay?). Why we think so? See it for yourself.

Hours after a search result was discovered that called Kannada the “ugliest language in India”, Google issued an apology for “the misunderstanding and hurting any sentiments.” The company further noted that it is continually working to improve its algorithms and the results to search queries are not the reflective opinion of the technology giant.

The statement read "Search isn't always perfect. Sometimes, the way content is described on the Internet can yield surprising results to specific queries. We know this is not ideal, but we take swift corrective action when we are made aware of an issue and are continually working to improve our algorithms. Naturally, these are not reflective of the opinions of Google, and we apologize for the misunderstanding and hurting any sentiments." Google India also put out the same statement in Kannada.

Kanndigas and several politicians expressed their displeasure over the search query “What is the ugliest language in India?” The query came up with an automated result saying “The answer is Kannada, a language spoken by around 40 million people in south India.”
The answer to the query was picked up from a page on a website named ‘debtconsolidationsquad’ that featured the answer to the question on its page. The website has other answers related to questions such as “easiest language in India '' and “most beautiful language in India.”
Following the discovery, Bengaluru Central Member of Parliament from BJP, PC Mohan demanded an apology from Google India. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Mukund Gowda also wrote to Google India asking for the search result to be taken down and take action against those responsible.

Like it or not, but DC Comics & Marvel have more in common than you would have thought. We have seen that there have been a plethora of instances when DC Comics copied characters from Marvel.

    © DC Comics
Well guess what, Marvel, has done the same thing. They have extensively copied characters from DC back in the day. The only difference is, when DC used to copy Marvel, most of their rehashes, failed to strike a chord with the audiences. As opposed to that, Marvel knew how to polish a character and ensure that it’s a guaranteed hit.

    © Warner Bros
Here are just 7 of such characters that, Marvel blatantly copied from DC, and made them more popular than the original.

Deadpool Copied From Deathstroke © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
This actually started out as a joke. DC Comics always had a reputation of being a little serious and melodramatic. They had a character called Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, the world’s best assassin. The comic book version of Deathstroke is nothing like the movie version - the original one was sombre, and much silent as a character, and was introduced in 1980.

11 years after Deathstroke was made by DC, Marvel decided to launch a comical version, that mocked DC’s serious tone. Thus Deadpool or Wade Wilson was born in 1991. Marvel did not even try to hide the fact that they had copied Deathstroke, and placed Deadpool as a parody of the assassin.
Mr Fantastic Copied From Elongated Man © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
We bet most of you haven’t even heard of Elongated Man, now, had you? Well DC introduced the character in 1960, a year before the launch of The Fantastic 4 comics. Elongated Man was actually doing well as a character and had decent sales.

However, once the first Fantastic Four comic, The Fantastic Four #1 released in November 1961, it was Mr Fantastic that ruled the charts and conversations around comics. Mr Elongated was confined to a very small corner of the comicverse, almost forgotten.
Doctor Strange Copied From Doctor Fate © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
Hard to believe, isn’t it? One of the most popular Marvel characters ever, not just in movies, was actually copied from DC. Doctor Fate first appeared in 1940. The story goes that Kent Nelson, the first Dr Fate was an archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Nabu and was trained by him, after an accident.

Similarly, Dr Stephen Strange is also a genius and at the top of his field, who meets an accident, gets trained in the Orient, and is healed by magic. The sorcerer first appeared in 1963, 23 years after Doctor Fate.
Vision Copied From Red Tornado © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
As a comic book character, Vision wasn’t as popular as the version we see in the movies and in WandaVision by Paul Bettany. Vision was first seen in the copy of an Avengers comic book, in October 1968.

Red Tornado, the character that Marvel copied to make Vision, was first seen in August 1968, the same year. When Red Tornado first appeared, he was a massive hit. Both, Red Tornado & Vision, were sentient androids with superpowers. Stylistically, they had some similarities as well. However, the powers they possessed were completely different.
Ultron Copied From Brainiac © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
Ultron and Brainiac are more similar than one would imagine. Again, it seems like Marvel wasn’t even trying to hide that their Ultron was inspired by Brainiac. Both of them are sentient AI systems married to an android body, and both of them have the ability to respawn and exist in great numbers.

Brainiac, who’s often considered to be one of the greatest comic book villains and one of Superman’s deadliest adversaries, first appeared in 1958. Ultron on the other hand first appeared in 1968, a decade after Brainiac.
Fun Fact: In the comics, Tony Stark wasn’t the one who created Ultron. It was actually Hank Pym, the man who created the Ant-Man suit.
Thanos Copied From Darkseid © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
This is pretty well known that Thanos was copied from Darkseid. In the cinematic universes, Thanos seems to be a much more formidable supervillain. In the comic books though, Darkseid could wipe the floor with Thanos.

Darkseid was first introduced in 1970, whereas Thanos was introduced in 1973. Although both of them have superhuman strength and intellect and are basically immortal, one key difference is that Darkseid had mind-controlling powers, including telepathy and telekinesis, whereas Thanos had to rely on various devices for such powers.
Hulk Copied Solomon Grundy © Marvel Comics & DC Comics
If we consider just the comic books, the most successful and popular characters aren’t Iron Man or Captain America, but Spider-Man, followed by Hulk. What’s surprising is that Hulk wasn’t an original concept for Marvel.

Long before the Hulk existed, DC Comics had an antihero/supervillain called Solomon Grundy. Grundy was introduced in 1944 and had superhuman strength, virtual immortality was almost invulnerable, and had immense healing power, all powers that we see in Hulk as well. Hulk was introduced in 1962 and had similar abilities and issues. Both of them were the result of coming face to face with deadly radiation, although Grundy was already dead when he was exposed to radiation.
There are some subtle differences between the two characters though. Grundy does not have a human form and therefore doesn’t transform into anything. Also, Grundy does not fly into an uncontrollable rage, although he gets just as destructive as the Hulk

On Thursday, the Indian cricket reached England and was straight away escorted to the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton where they will be facing off against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand squad in the World Test Championship final.
Batting opener and team veteran Rohit Sharma was one of the first players to share the scenes while posing with teammate Rishabh Pant in the stands of The Ageas Bowl stadium.

And while the two cricketers were standing apart from each other, distanced by a glass barrier in order to maintain the social distancing mandate during their three-day quarantine, the fans couldn’t help but notice a significant transformation ‘Hitman’ seems to have gone through ever since the Indian Premier League was called off a month ago.
Rohit Sharma is looking fit and smart
    — Abhishek Srivastava🇮🇳 (@Abhishek090817) June 3, 2021Rohit has lost some weight it seems
    — Anurag (@CrimeMasterAnu) June 3, 2021Does Rohit look fitter to everyone or just me?
    — Cheems (@Cheemad69) June 3, 2021So lean and fit 🤩🤩 pic.twitter.com/p9DHIiPvZB
    — Amazing Fanatic#45&49 (@45_49Redh45k) June 3, 2021 While it is a fact that Sharma remains one of the most agile cricketers in the team and is known for his activity while fielding, the 34-year old has faced a lot of criticism for his weight, especially while being compared to athletes like skipper Virat Kohli.
The colleague from the picture, Pant has also had similar narratives surrounding him and was even fat-shamed by Australian cricketer Matthew Wade during India’s tour Down Under back in December 2020. However, the southpaw has shown his flexibility on more than one occasion and especially in the videos that he makes during his time at the gym, doing somersaults, cartwheels, and handstands.
View this post on InstagramWhile the Men in Blue will not get a lot of time to get themselves settled in with the English pitches, the Blackcaps are already present in the country and are currently in the middle of a two-Test series against the hosts.
    View this post on Instagram
Backed by an excellent double-century by Devon Conway on debut, the Kiwis amassed 378 runs in the first innings of the Lord’s Test and have even managed to dismiss England’s top-order batters, Dom Sibley and Zak Crawley for a duck and two runs, respectively.
Considering the current form of Williamson’s boys, Team India is definitely in for a tough challenge as they hustle to become the very first world champions in the longest format of the game.

Amazon Prime Video decided to treat fans on Thursday by releasing the second season of The Family Man, a day early. As soon as the viewers got to know, they decided to watch the show and in fact, were glued to it. When the first season is a hit, people have higher expectations from the second part. There have been multiple times when the second part of a certain hit show disappointed the audience because it didn't turn out to be as good as expected.
Created by Raj and DK, the show revolves around a middle-class family man who is also a world-class spy, Srikant Tiwari, portrayed by Manoj Bajpayee. Samantha Akkineni is seen essaying an important role in the new season and plays the character of Rajji. The show also features Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, and Vedant Sinha. With a brilliant cast and perfect anchors on board, you surely can expect a blast.

The portrayal of Samantha, in the trailer, as Rajji (which alluded to the Sri Lankan Tamil Eelam rebel group LTTE), who gets involved in the violent physical attack in Chennai, Tamil Nadu did not go well among the youngsters and Tamil political circle. Seeing the positive reviews pouring in, we assume that the show has changed the outlook.
People are loving the show and have appreciated the writers for making it more dark and twisted. They were in awe of Samantha as they feel she has acted amazingly well. They are appreciating the fact that it’s rare the second season can match up to the hype and continue the legacy.

People are also loving the fact the directors have kept Tamil and Hindi together without dubbing and hence retained the realistic aspect.
