Arjun Kapoor debut film Ishaqzaade with Parineeti Chopra did tremendously at the Box Office and they then starred together again in Namaste England in 2018, which was not received so well.

The pair teamed up again three years later for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which released in March this year but owing to the second wave of Covid in India, had an OTT release two months later.

The black comedy-drama directed by Dibakar Banerjee was deemed as a hidden gem by netizens who saw the film.

Arjun, who plays a corrupt Haryanvi cop in the movie, recently gushed about the film and said he feels it has potential for an “excessively thrilling” sequel.

According to him, it’s the climax of the movie that leaves a brilliant scope for part two.

Talking to a leading daily, Kapoor said, "If you see the brilliant climax of the film that Dibakar has so masterfully designed, you will realise that there is definitely a scope for a sequel that can be dark, gritty, raw, and excessively thrilling.”

The movie revolves around two characters a police officer Pinkesh Dahiya and a bank employee Sandeep Walia who are poles apart but somehow get entangled while being chased by Walia’s boss.

Will there be a sequel, though? Arjun says “Now, with all the love and appreciation that the film is getting, it is up to my masterful director and his genius mind to tell us whether or not he is seeing this happening.”
He also said that when that happens, he and his co-star would be onboard in a heartbeat. “I can assure you that whenever he gives us the green signal, Pari and I will be on to shoot,” he added.

He also said that the movie has been a great learning experience for him as an actor and praised his director.

"SAPF was an extremely satiating experience for me as an actor. It really took me to places that I didn't imagine going and all the appreciation I'm getting is because Dibakar saw me as Pinky Dahiya. I'm overwhelmed because I know how much Dibakar told me to believe in myself and submit to his process," he said.

What do you think about the film? Should there be a sequel to Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar?

In another episode of this that happens only in India, a 40-year-old man named Omkar Lal Gadulia returned home a week after his funeral.
This happened after a decomposed body was identified as his body and the family performed a funeral.
Omkar Lal, who is a liquor addict, had gone to Udaipur without informing his family on May 11.  He was then admitted to a hospital due to some liver-related issue.

Omkar Lal’s family was living with his brother after the lockdown due to Covid-19. On the same day, Goverdhan Prajapat another man was taken to the RK Hospital by an ambulance service and Prajapat died during treatment.

Kankroli police station SHO Yogendra Vyas told PTI, “We had got a letter from the hospital authorities that a body was lying unclaimed at the mortuary for three days. We then circulated photographs of the deceased man on various fronts to identify the body.”
Many people had come to the hospital on May 15 to identify the body. Police were informed about it and the family members gave in writing to hand over the body to them without conducting any post mortem.

However, the family members wrongly identified the body due to a similar scar on Gadulia’s right hand and appearance.

The police handed over the body without post mortem and DNA test as the family identified the body.
Yogendra Vyas also said, “The body was identified by the family members. DNA testing and post-mortem by a medical board are conducted when the body is unidentified following which the body is usually handed over to the municipality for cremation.”

The hospital also admitted that this was a goof up on part of the mortuary and nursing staff and also said that they’ll take strict action against this.

Sushil Kumar has spoken about how he had no intention of killing his fellow wrestler Sagar Dhankar and that all he wanted to do was to scare him off a bit. His lawyer, BS Jakhar recently challenged the Delhi Police to bring forward the infamous and chronicled video of him getting involved in the assault.
They even spoke about how the two-time Olympic medallist was present at the venue to stop the fight and not to become an active part of it.

On Thursday, when this video managed to find it’s way online, all the abovementioned doubts, speculations and theories were put to rest, only to see what had truly taken place on the trembling night of May 4.
Sagar Dhankar, a helpless 23-year old wrestler lying on his back, with his hands up in the air, in a desperate attempt to convince Sushil Kumar and his goons to stop, another feeble person trying to prevent him from using dropping the laathi on the already severely injured Dhankar, and out “beloved” Sushil Kumar flexing his might by swirling the dreadful weapon, showboating.
India Today recently confirmed that the man in white shirt was indeed Sushil Kumar and the person being beaten up was the victim who passed away, Sagar Dhankar.

The video also shows one of Kumar’s accomplices carrying a pistol in his hands while roaming around the venue freely and without an ounce of fear on his face.
The video has further enraged the people of India, people who cheered him on, considered one of the top-tier athletes this country has ever produced, and treated him like a god, now wish to see that all his medals, all his achievements are taken away and the harshest of the punishments should be presented to him if and when found guilty.
    Sushil kumar is national shame.

The lack of such a video was one of them. Not anymore.

John Cena is finding himself in hot waters after he issued an apology to China and the Chinese people after he ended up calling Taiwan a country while promoting his latest film Fast & Furious 9.
Recently, the former WWE champion hopped on to his official account on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, and shared a minute-long video of saying sorry in Mandarin while letting his fans in the country know that he respects and loves the country that he made a mistake by calling Taiwan a country.

“I made a mistake. I must say now that, very very very importantly, I love and respect China and Chinese people,” Cena said. Throughout the video, the 44-year old basically kept repeating the same thing in different ways and while looking extremely concerned as he presented different renditions of his apology in Chinese. However, the video ended up burning Cena’s candle from both ends.
First, the Chinese people were further enraged by the fact that Cena did not mention what his mistake was in the video and didn’t call Taiwan a part of China.
On the other hand, Cena’s fans from the rest of the parts of the world also called him out for the way he apologised for “calling a country, a country” and “being a sellout” to the Chinese in the hopes of not losing out on a lot of money on his movie due to political backlash out of his comment, which may very well mean a boycott on his film in the biggest population in the world.
John Cena has apologized to China for calling Taiwan a country, and it looks like a legit hostage video.

This pathetic garbage needs to end. We can't let the dictatorship in Beijing set the rules Americans play by. At some point, enough is enough.pic.twitter.com/yHwzPu3QCQ

Taiwan is a country. Hong Kong should be free. If you are unwilling to say these things because it might hurt your bottom line, you are a pathetic coward.

John Cena endlessly apologises to China in the Chinese language after calling Taiwan, a country during a promotional interview.

Grow a spine, John Cena. Taiwan is a country. The facts won’t change because the Chinese hate them.

    Long live Taiwan!🇹🇼
    Shame on you @JohnCena pic.twitter.com/zrto5CV4mh

Cena’s shared a huge fan base for over a decade now. Back when he was a full-time WWE superstar, he used to be the face of the company whenever the brand traveled East. His popularity has been so immense there that the ‘Doctor of Thuganomics’ ended up learning Mandarin, the most popular language in the country.

Cena’s video also had a negative impact on his former colleagues at the WWE. CM Punk, for instance, changed his Twitter bio for a brief moment to “Taiwan is a country”.
This John Cena apology is NOT going over well at WWE right now...
