Exactly three years ago, on 27th May 2018, things could not have been better for Real Madrid fans all over the world. The glorious team was at the peak of its powers under the managerial helm of Real Madrid and France legend Zinedine Zidane.

Goals from Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale had secured Madrid their 13th Champions League title at the cost of Liverpool's then goalkeeper Loris Karius and Madrid fans could only dream of what lay ahead.

Most importantly for the Madridistas, there was a certain talismanic Portuguese goalscorer in the ranks, who donned Madrid's iconic number 7 white jersey and brought the world to its knees, Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, hopes turned to nightmares as on the same night of the victory, Ronaldo announced that he would be leaving the Spanish giants, and let's say things have not just been the same for Madridistas.

Now, what will shake the fans, even more, is that their manager Zidane's second managerial stint has finally come to an end, with the Frenchmen penning his resignation days after losing out on the La Liga title to rivals Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid in a statement released on its website said, "It is now time to respect his decision and show our appreciation for his professionalism, dedication, and passion all these years. Zidane is one of Real Madrid's great myths and his legend beyond his role as coach and player at our club."

Zidane's departure comes at the end of a disappointing campaign where after having lost to Chelsea in the Champions League semi-finals, the Madrid team failed to secure a trophy for the first time in the last 11 seasons.

To add salt to the wounds for Real Madrid fans, Massimiliano Allegri, who was in contention to replace Zidane as manager, is all set to sign for Juventus as their head coach, replacing Andrea Pirlo.

You might notice that you experience certain skin issues more than usual in the hot weather than the rest of the year. As soon as summer approaches, you have to deal with sudden acne flare-up, stinky armpits and chapped lips.

The reason is simple. It’s just your skin reacting to the change in weather and extreme heat. Plus, excessive sweating and moisture-zapping humidity make things worse.
    © iStock
More often than not, men tend to ignore these problems, probably thinking it will get better with time or that there is no solution to these.

However, you can prevent and even get rid of these summer skin woes by making a few, easy changes in your daily habits and skincare routine.
    © iStock
Here are five of the most common summer skin problems that you might suffer from but conveniently neglect, when you shouldn’t. Whether it is breakouts or BO, it is fixable.

Here is how to tackle and treat the most common skin woes in summer:
    1. BreakoutsSimply put, breakouts happen when your skin accumulates dirt, oil and sweat and bacteria builds up on the surface. The areas you tend to sweat more or the oily zones on your skin will have more acne flare-ups.
Fix: To avoid this, cleanse your face two times a day and blot sweat off when outside. Use only clean towels to wipe your face and use non-comedogenic skin care products.
    © iStock
    2. Dry skinWe are not just talking about flaky skin beneath your beard but chapped lips and parched skin too. It can lead to itchiness and irritation and aggravate skin conditions like eczema.
Fix: Keep your skin hydrated from within as well as moisturised from outside. Drink lots of water in summer and nourishing moisturiser to make up for the lost moisture.
    © iStock
    3. Body odourThis is one of the most embarrassing and annoying skin care problems that many people suffer from in summer. However, it’s not your sweat that smells but when it encounters bacteria, it causes unpleasant BO.
Fix: Use an antibacterial soap and wear fresh and clean clothes. Excluding foods like onions and garlic and cutting back on spicy foods will also help big time.
    © iStock
    4. Heat rashAgain, the natural and the normal process of sweating in hot weather is to be blamed for this skin woe. When sweat droplets get trapped in the skin, they form red itchy bumps which is what you call a heat rash.
Fix: Instead of wiping off sweat, pat your skin dry with a soft cloth or towel. Shower with lukewarm water and use fragrance-free talcum.
Also, wear loose clothes to avoid friction and further irritation to the skin.
    © iStock
    5. Tanning and sunburnEven a couple of minutes in the summer sun can leave you with tan or sunburn depending on the type of skin you are blessed with. Although it can happen in winters too.
But these two are more likely to happen in summer, due to extensive heat and intense rays of the sun.
Fix: You cannot remove tan but can avoid it by not staying in the sun for too long, especially during the peak time of the day. Also, use sunscreen and drink lots of water to avoid sunburn.

Stop neglecting your skin and start taking care of it with these super easy and effective fixes so your skin woes don’t intrude with your summer fun.

Romance and love have a different meaning for everyone and while watching a classing romantic comedy or a sob story is the idea of what a ‘love story’ looks like for most people, we do want to explore more options for a date night.

Here are 7 unconventional romantic movies which explore the amour territory in a very different way:
    1. Her
Joaquin Phoenix can basically mould himself into any character like it was written just for him.
Never did I think that a sci-fi movie can make your heart melt but trust the storyline and the way he accesses your heart as you feel every emotion of his character.
Falling in love with an AI assistant and living in your own bubble till it bursts? Ouch, that is unconventional and of course, heartbreaking.
    2. Lars And The Real Girl
This is the story of Lars, who is unable to form any bonds with a female.
When he finally announces that he has a girl in his life whom he met on the internet, his overjoyed family is left confused to see his romance blossom with a life-size plastic doll!
    3. Hum Tum
A very fresh piece of narrative back in the day, if you consider how Bollywood movies were written around 2003.
Sure, it resembled When Harry Met Sally in parts but this evolving mature love story was wonderfully adapted and projected by Rani and Saif’s character.
    4. Love Aaj Kal
I had to add an Imtiaz Ali movie to the list because very few people understand the nuances of romance like he does.
The year is 2009 and there comes a movie which tells two beautiful tales of love, sewn in two different eras, forming a montage.
Also, who can come up with the unconventional idea of a ‘break up party’ for the quintessential millennial couple, only to fall back in love again?
    5. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Imagine loving someone so much and being hurt to a point where you literally feel the need to erase their memories and existence from your mind.
Jim Carrey plays the role of a man who is fighting for love and trying everything in his capacity to hold on to the love of his life, Kate Winslet, who is determined to make him a part of her forgettable history.
Tears will obviously roll out as your heart goes out for him.
    6. Rockstar

Another gem in the genre of unconventional romance. This is not a movie, but an emotion for fans who continue falling in love with this simple, yet intense story.
The journey of Janardhan falling in love with Heer to Heer falling hard for Jordan is long, painful and will take you through all rounds of emotions before its cathartic end.

Parineeti Chopra made her debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and then, she appeared in Ishaqzaade.

People fell in love with her as she had a different energy to bring to the table. She did start with delivering hits but her success was short-lived as her films didn’t work well at the box office.
She was then targeted and people trolled for not being a 'good actor'.
View this post on InstagramIn a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti said that she always did her best but there are possibilities that the projects that came her way didn’t allow her to showcase her best.
"If you have talent and that talent can be brought out, that is the biggest achievement of an actor. There are so many actors who are talented but do not find a good script to present it. They just keep telling that they are talented but they are unable to showcase it, that's the most unfortunate situation. However, with me, it was the other way around. When I started, my initial movies were good, I got all the awards for them, I got all the appreciation for them. But after that, suddenly, my acting skills were questioned because the films didn't work," said Parineeti.
She went on to add, “Kisi ne unn films ko question nahi kiya ke 'yaar this film didn't do justice to her' (no one questioned the films, no one said, 'this film didn't do justice to her.') So, I finally wanted to wait and be patient, thinking I will only do films that will showcase my talent to its full ability. That's why I did this movie (Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar), that's why I did Saina and Girl on the Train. Because I was sick and tired of hearing people say that I'm not doing my best. I was always doing my best but maybe the material was not something showcasing my best. So, my greed was, 'I will give my 100 per cent, give me the script'.”
View this post on InstagramThe actor has been getting rave reviews for her act in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
The story revolves around Sandeep Kaur (Parineeti Chopra), an ambitious woman from the corporate world, and Pinkesh Dahiya (Arjun Kapoor), a Haryanvi police officer.
Not just Parineeti, people are hailing Arjun too for his one of his best performance, so far.

Given how 2020 & 2021 have been, if we hear the news that Godzilla has actually attacked Tokyo in real life, we wouldn’t be surprised.
Especially, given how some Japanese scientists have been conducting experiments on the ocean floor.

A team of Japanese scientists has apparently drilled a hole on the ocean floor that goes as deep as 5 miles in an attempt to study the history of earthquakes in Japan, and to better prepare for it.

People who have keenly followed the Godzilla movies will know just how eerily similar this is to the Godzilla & King Kong films.

In pop-culture, especially Japanese pop culture, the Godzilla is an enormous and violent pre-historic sea creature that stays below the earth’s surface, which gets awakened by awakened and empowered by nuclear radiation.

The monster’s first appearance in films was in the year 1954, in a movie named Godzilla.

Ever since then, the creature has been an integral part of Asian, as well as American pop-culture. Ever since its inception, it has been portrayed as a contemporary and a rival of King Kong.
People on Twitter though, felt that this isn’t exactly the ideal year when such experiments should be conducted. They meme-ed the heck out of this piece of news.

People, especially those who are involved with policing and maintaining law & order are also very excited as Aalam’s experience as a constable will allow him to bridge any existing gap between the ranks.
Coincidentally, Firoz’s story resembles the character arch of ‘Imran Ansari’ from Paatal Lok, as portrayed by Ishwak Singh.

Huma Qureshi has been taking up quite a lot of complex characters and we have seen her nail her previous roles with perfection.
A few days ago, the actor dropped the trailer of her upcoming show, Maharani, and people have expectations from the actor as she recently impressed everyone in Army Of The Dead.
In the show, she plays the titular role of an uneducated woman, the wife of a former chief minister, who is forced to take up the responsibilities of the CM's post against her wishes.
    View this post on Instagram
According to many people, her character Rani Bharti has similarities to how Rabri Devi came into the picture after Lalu Prasad Yadav faced charges of corruption.
In an interaction with Indian Express, she was asked if she was apprehensive about people objecting to the content of Maharani as it has similarities to the life of former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi.
On this, Huma said, “See, I am an actor. My job is to act. It is on people now if they wish to watch it (film/web series) or not. I don’t put my brain into what will people think.”
Talking about the similarities, she said that her character is fictional and has no similarities with Rabri Devi. “The only common point is both are female chief ministers of Bihar,” she added.
Here’s the trailer of the show:

“In a twist of fate, Rani Bharti’s life changes drastically, overnight. Featuring the dynamic Huma Qureshi in the lead, the show showcases how the current Chief Minister disrupts the state’s political machinery in a blink. While his party officials await the name of his successor with bated breaths, the CM’s sudden announcement shocks everyone to the core including his wife Rani Bharati,” the makers described the show in a statement.
Directed by Karan Sharma, the show features Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, and Vineet Kumar among others.
Based out of Bihar, Maharani is a fictionalized series that is set to release on May 28.
