The scary visuals of cyclone Yaas which wreaked havoc across West Bengal and Odisha have been going viral on social media. The videos of the floods, the uprooted trees, destroyed homes, and the tornado over the river Ganga has shed light on how extreme a natural calamity the cyclone was. This comes just after the western coast was destroyed by cyclone Tauktae.

In a recent, viral video, a reporter from Bengal caught some people swimming in the knee-deep floodwater to apparently ‘save’ other people. The reporter is seen standing and reporting the effects of the cyclone Yaas, while two people in the background swam, even when they could have easily walked.
    Check out the video here-

When they were asked as to what they were doing, one woman said, “We will swim and help as many people as we can.” Another man who was swimming beside her said, “We are going to save people and shift them to a safer place.”
However, as soon as the camera shifts focus, they get up and start walking away.
Here’s what people on social media had to say about this-

    — Human (@humanhumein) May 26, 2021I’m in Kolkata waiting the entire day for the ‘torrential rain with cyclonic winds’ as shown by the media since the last 1 week. Alas! Nothing to show for except a few thundershowers yesterday night. The weather is pleasant though with a nice wind and overcast sky. Fearmongering

    — Asif Salim (@asifsalim_) May 26, 2021However, this is not the first time a journalist has over-dramatized a natural calamity, this has happened before as well.
Last year also, during cyclone Nisarga, a reporter exaggerated and pretended to get swayed along with the strong winds while a woman was casually standing behind him.
Irrespective of such reportage, we hope and pray for the safety of people in Odisha and West Bengal.

Ah, sunny days! Beach vacation pictures never looked more inviting.

The travel may or may not start anytime soon but the million-dollar question is—are we ready to step out?
    Of course not.
The very thought of leaving the house terrifies us. But we can ease ourselves into the season by rebooting our long-dormant grooming routine.
Whether you work from home or have an outdoorsy job, we want to make sure your skin is ready for the imminent arrival of warmer weather and fingers crossed, a calendar full of plans.
So, here are some grooming tips for men who don’t want the harsh weather to play havoc with their skin.
    1. Repeat After Us: SPF Is A MustSunscreen is the most crucial step of your routine, in summer or otherwise. Even if you’re someone who enjoys a tan, UV radiation poses a risk of skin cancer.
Not all SPFs are created equal, so ensure you’re investing in the one with broad-spectrum protection. It’s even better if your sunscreen’s formula is plant-based. This will help in repairing skin cell damage.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1620__
    2. Hello, Lightweight Moisturisers! Most sunscreens contain hydrating ingredients but they can’t replace a good moisturiser.
So ditching your skin food might not be a wise choice. But you must switch to a lightweight moisturiser or gel formula as a heavy cream doesn’t mix well with the sun.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1622__
    3. Spritz, Spritz & Spritz AgainThe sun isn’t your only problem during summers. You’ve got to protect your skin from screen light, visible light and air conditioning too.
A regular spritz of a hydrating mist can add plump to your skin, rejuvenate it and keep it from getting damaged.
To assist you with the summer skincare process, we recommend Dr Sheth’s indoor mist which is formulated with hyaluronic acid, green tea extract and butterfly bush extract.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1623__
    4. Take Care Of Those HandsOur safety relies on alcohol-based, gel-like sanitisers but let’s be honest, they’re no friends of the skin.
Face masks and hand sanitisers will continue to be a part of our daily routine even after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. But you can do your hands a favour and start using heavy-duty hand cream. Your cuticles will thank you.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1093__
    5. Turn To Natural DeodorantsSummer means sweaty underarms, which also means more perfume or pore-blocking antiperspirants. Ditch them for good and invest in a kinder substitute for the delicate skin under your arms.
Natural deodorants are long-lasting and can do no harm to your skin or to the environment.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__563__
Pro Tip For Sunny DaysWarmer weather makes you think about manscaping more often than ever. Make the process more convenient by exfoliating beforehand. This will prep your skin and eliminate the inconvenience caused by ingrown hair.
Switch to a good-quality, cooling shaving cream with ingredients like aloe vera gel, Cupuaçu butter to calm redness, bumps and nicks. Your summer grooming experience will be smooth as a glider!

These days, the news is quite depressing, to say the least. Covid cases, the release of Salman Khan’s Radhe and cyclones have left us no reason to smile.
However, amid all of this, a funny video or an interview on a news channel makes for a welcome break from all that’s happing around.

After Cyclone Tauktae highly impacted the west coast of India last week, another severe super cyclone storm has now hit the eastern regions of the country. It caused serious damage to life and property in West Bengal and headed to Odisha yesterday.

    © Instagram/ANI
However, some people in Odisha were seen ignoring the warnings and stepping out of their homes during the heavy rains and gusting winds. A journalist questioned a man who was out during Cyclone Yaas but his response is taking the internet by storm.

    © NDTV
The reporter asked the man, “Tez hawa chal rahi hai, toofan aane vala hai.. toh aap ghar se kyun nikle hain? (There are strong winds, a storm is approaching, why have you stepped out of the house?)”

He replied, “You are out too. I have stepped out because you have stepped out.”
To this, the reporter tells him he is covering the news so he had to step out. The man responded, “Hum nahi niklenge toh aap kisko dikhayenge? (If we don’t come out then whom will you show on the news?).”

The funny man’s witty replies and hilarious excuses for stepping out left the reporter stunned and people who watched the video in splits. People are saying, “baat to sahi hai.”
He even managed to catch the attention of IPS officer Arun Bothra, who shared the video on his Twitter account and captioned it, “Such a kind-hearted man. Doing so much for humanity.”

Another wrote, “Did not expect that there are people like this in today's India Such a kind-hearted man”

The Internet is as volatile today as ever and when it comes to Twitter, anything and everything can trend within a matter of seconds.

Now, what has been trending on the micro-blogging site in the last few days is a teacher from Patna, Bihar, who is famously known amongst Indian students by the name of "Khan Sir".

    © Youtube/Khan GS Research Centre
Just before we get into what the fuss is all about, let's talk about who this person really is. Hailing from Patna, Khan Sir, as called by his followers, is a teacher who is known for teaching General Studies on his YouTube channel which goes by the name of "Khan GS Research Center" and even through a mobile app.

The teacher is renowned for mixing his informative lessons with humor, as he is often seen sharing jokes with students in what is considered a very friendly way of learning.

    — Shubham Bharwaj (@bharwaj_shubham) May 27, 2021
This is probably the reason why despite having a niche following, Khan Sir has a massive fan base across the country, with around 92 lakh subscribers. Now, while he has remained a much-loved figure in the teaching world, he has recently come under fire for his alleged Islamophobic comments during an online class on April 24.
During the class, he had been seen questioning the role of Pakistani children during the anti-France mass protests that took place in Pakistan in April for the expulsion of the French ambassador and the boycott of the use of French goods.
Here is the video of it.
Khan sir is always pure heart. His teaching is never biased. If someone say truth they always face criticism. #ReportOnKhanSir #KhanSirRealMuslimofIndia #khansir #isupportkhansir #khansirmotivation #khansirpatna pic.twitter.com/eTKFqiKORz

"They (the children) do not know anything but the French ambassador should be ousted. Look at him (the child). He does not know anything. The child should study and not listen to his father, otherwise, he will end up repairing punctures like his father. Tell me, is the age at which the children should be brought to such protests? This kid is even smaller than the banner. What can one do? What is the point of 18-19 children being born? Some will wash dishes, some will cut goats and some will fix punctures," said Khan Sir.
Soon after the class, the video of his statements went viral on the internet irking some of his students as well people in general who criticized the teacher for his Islamophobic comments.
Many angry social media users even started looking for more information on the teacher, after which it was discovered that his actual name was Amit Singh and Khan sir was just a name given to him by his students.

Gaurav Sharma, one of India's biggest YouTubers, has been arrested by the Delhi Police for flying his pet dog after tying it with helium balloons. Yes, you heard it right. Time and again, many cases of animal cruelty have surfaced on the internet and it’s time that such people should be given a taste of their own medicine.
A complaint was received at Malviya Nagar police station, in which the complainant, Gaurav Gupta, belonging to the 'People for Animals Society', alleged that YouTuber Gaurav Sharma, resident of Panchsheel Vihar, and a few others had filmed a video in which they were seen to have tied his pet dog with helium balloons and later they let loose the balloons, thereby making the dog fly in the air and hence, risking its life. The video was shot on May 21, the complainant stated.
View this post on Instagram“A case was lodged against Sharma under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code, the Disaster Management Act and relevant sections of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act on the complaint of Gaurav Gupta, a member of ‘People for Animals Society’,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur said.
Here’s a part of the video that has now been deleted:

The video received major flak and he took it down after people started to bash him. After deleting the video, he shared a video apologizing for his actions. He said he took all the safety measures before he carried this stunt. He added, “I am also a pet lover...I got influenced by seeing some videos from outside. I apologize for that and I will appeal to all of those watching to not get influenced by my video.”

His apology hasn’t gone down well with people who are bashing him left, right, and center. People are happy that he got arrested and also added that if he was a dog lover, he wouldn’t have done it in the first place.

The PlayStation 5 was back in stock for Indian gamers today which sold out in a matter of seconds and will be shipping on June 7th. However, another restock for the PlayStation 5 is planned in India around June 11th according to our sources. IGN India also cited its sources that another restock is scheduled for June itself. The outlet also details that Sony India is planning two rounds of restocking in India in the month of June.

IGN India also reports that there will be more units of the Digital Edition available to purchase during these restock rounds including the pulse 3D headset as well. The PlayStation 5 has been in massive demand ever since it launched in India on 2nd February 2021. The console didn’t get a restock since launch until recently due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in India.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Although the initial launch window saw under 4,000 units available for sale, IGN India estimates that the upcoming restocks will have considerably higher quantities than previous restocks — up to 1.5 or 2 times more in total. The PlayStation 5 is expected to get more regular restocks over the coming few weeks in anticipation of the launch of the upcoming game, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Sony is also expected to announce a release date for Horizon Forbidden West tonight at its ‘State of Play’ event which could also play a role in getting as many consoles out there.

The PlayStation 5 is currently the hottest gaming console that we feel is console gaming at its best right now. You can read our full review to know more about the console and how it performs with next-gen and PS4 games.

For the next restock, both the disc and digital versions of the PlayStation 5 will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, ShopatSC, Croma, Reliance Digital and GamesTheShop. In addition, the console will also be available via local authorised resellers

Currently under a six-day custody of the Delhi Police for the murder of fellow wrestler Sagar Rana, Sushil Kumar has been reportedly numb during his time at the Model Town police station where he was taken for questioning, following his arrest on Saturday, May 22 2021.
Over the last couple of days, media reports and sources have suggested that the two-time Olympic medallist has cried, refused to eat anything and has expressed regret towards the death of the 23-year old. He has also said that he had no intention of killing Rana and just wanted to scare him a little bit.

However, the accused wrestler's counsel, BS Jakhar has suggested five reasons why he thinks his client is being falsely framed. He does so while in a conversation with InsideSport:
    1. Sushil Kumar’s Name Not In Original FIR:“In the FIR filed there was no mention of Sushil. It was after Sagar Dhankar (one of the victims) died, the Delhi Police included Pahelwan (Sushil)... we have denied and said the incident was just a quarrel between two groups at the stadium and Sushil had just come to intervene and resolve it.”
    2. Quick On The Non-Bailable Warrant:“Never has in history the Delhi Police issued a non-bailable warrant in just 10 days. Even if it’s a dreaded criminal. Then why against Sushil Pahelwan? (sic).”
    View this post on Instagram
    3. Police Notice Addressed To His Wife:“Also, the Police sent the notice (under section) 160 to his wife and not him, Why? Then they announced a reward which usually happens after a chargesheet is filed. There was the wrong intention from the start.”
    4. Trying To Get False Confession:“He is in remand now. There they are trying to get (him) to falsely confess the crime which he has not even committed. He has denied to give a signature on any paper and therefore such claims.”
    5. Where’s The CCTV Footage?:“They have 90 days to file the chargesheet. The famed clip, which police claims shows Sushil during the incident, where is it? We are waiting for the next hearing now.”

Sushil Kumar, who is currently in six-day police custody, seems to be getting buried deeper and deeper in the murder case of fellow wrestler Sagar Rana. As the days pass by, new evidence and stunning revelations are being made against the Olympian.
An old picture has resurfaced online in which the two-time Olympic medallist can be seen sitting next to gangster Kala Jathedi’s brother Pradeep, which was shared for the first time on December 18, 2018 with a caption which reads “bhaichara @pehalwanji”.
    Image1
Delhi Police say that Pradeep is also wanted, has a prize money of Rs 7 lakh, and has managed to abscond and escape overseas to stay out of their grasp. Sources also say that the recently 38-year old turned wrestler worked with these men, and even went to Sonipat to aid Kala Jathedi’s brother with a certain case.
On Saturday evening, Sushil Kumar and his associate Ajay Kumar were arrested in the middle of a road, after Delhi Police’s Special Cell successfully tracked them down after a couple of weeks of intensive search and raids.

Kumar was taken to the Model Town police station where he was interrogated for over four hours during which the wrestler cried continuously, refused to eat anything and stayed up all night, sitting on the floor.
He has also admitted that he had no intention of killing Sagar Rana and only wanted to scare him off a bit.
The disagreement between Sushil Kumar and Sagar Dhankhad was over a flat that belonged to Sushil Kumar in the Model Town area of Delhi. Sagar used to stay on rent in this flat with a friend named Sonu Mahal, considered the right-hand of wanted gangster Kala Jathedi.

"The one who murdered my son does not deserve to be called a mentor. All the medals won by Sushil Kumar should be taken from him. We believe that police will investigate properly but Sushil will try to influence it by using his political links," Rana's mother argued according to India Today.
"We are hoping for justice. Where did he go when he was absconding, who gave him shelter, and most importantly the gangsters with whom he is connected to. He should be hanged so that people learn a lesson and think before killing his own pupil," said Rana’s father.

Kim Kardashian recently landed herself in trouble after she shared pictures of herself wearing earrings with the sacred ‘Om’ carved on them.
She shared a series of pictures on her social media, donning her beautiful body in a body-hugging shimmery red gown which she wore along with a full-sleeve floral blazer, long nails with nail art and her makeup with red eye shadow on point.  She accessorised her look with oversized hoop earrings with ‘Om’ carved on them.

However, as soon as the picture went viral, desi people on the internet got offended. Kim found herself in the middle of this huge controversy where people started calling her out for ‘cultural appropriation.’
People on the internet didn’t only call Kim out but also demanded an apology and also asked her to remove the pictures from social media.
A Twitter user commented, “Stop cultural appropriation of Indian culture. What’s up with those earrings girl?” Another user commented, “My religion is not your aesthetic wtf.”
And another user said, “She really out here appropriating culture and religion like it's a hobby. do some basic research the Om symbol is scared and it's not an aesthetic.”

Recently, Hindu Statesman and President of Universal Society of Hinduism Rajan Zed said in statement, “hugely venerated 'Om' was the mystical syllable containing the universe, which in Hinduism was used to introduce and conclude religious work; and was not meant to be used as a fashion statement or become a tool for sexy fashion. Inappropriate usage of sacred Hindu icons or deities or concepts or symbols for commercial or other agenda was not okay as it hurt the devotees.”
Zed also emphasized that celebs should not be part of religious appropriation, sacrilege, and ridiculing entire communities. He added, “It was deeply trivializing of the immensely revered “Om” to be displayed in such a manner.” He also urged Kim to remove the picture immediately as they were questionable.
