Man Gives Hilarious Excuse For Being Out During Cyclone Yaas, Tells Reporter 'You're Out Too'

These days, the news is quite depressing, to say the least. Covid cases, the release of Salman Khan’s Radhe and cyclones have left us no reason to smile.

However, amid all of this, a funny video or an interview on a news channel makes for a welcome break from all that’s happing around.

After Cyclone Tauktae highly impacted the west coast of India last week, another severe super cyclone storm has now hit the eastern regions of the country. It caused serious damage to life and property in West Bengal and headed to Odisha yesterday.

However, some people in Odisha were seen ignoring the warnings and stepping out of their homes during the heavy rains and gusting winds. A journalist questioned a man who was out during Cyclone Yaas but his response is taking the internet by storm.

The reporter asked the man, “Tez hawa chal rahi hai, toofan aane vala hai.. toh aap ghar se kyun nikle hain? (There are strong winds, a storm is approaching, why have you stepped out of the house?)”

He replied, “You are out too. I have stepped out because you have stepped out.”

To this, the reporter tells him he is covering the news so he had to step out. The man responded, “Hum nahi niklenge toh aap kisko dikhayenge? (If we don’t come out then whom will you show on the news?).”

He even managed to catch the attention of IPS officer Arun Bothra, who shared the video on his Twitter account and captioned it, “Such a kind-hearted man. Doing so much for humanity.”
