    Say what you will about Kartik Aaryan, the man has a very natural and organic sense of style, especially when it comes to streetwear and athleisure.

    Time and time again, the man has given us proper examples and lessons, on how to dress down with flair, while keeping things understated, and low-key, all at the same time. It shouldn’t come as a surprise then, when you see people of all ages, looking up to him as a style icon.

    Kartik was recently spotted in Mumbai, in a rather simplistic, but very fashionable outfit. He was also seen wearing one of the dopest, and cheapest pairs of sneakers that we have ever seen a celebrity wear.

    First, though, let us take a look at Kartik’s outfit.

    The joggers look simplistic, and ultra-luxe, thanks to the lack of chunky pockets. Chunky pockets, give joggers a very technical, and tactical appeal. These joggers, thanks to their anti-fit, or baggy silhouette, wouldn’t have looked that great with technical, oversized pockets.

    Then, there are the sneakers that Kartik is wearing. Now, normally, celebrities often have the choicest of options available to them, when it comes to clothes and sneakers. After all, brands and agencies go to great lengths to vie for their attention.

    In such a scenario, it can be safe to assume that celebrities always go for the top of the line pieces. Or do they? Well, as it turns out, not always.

    The sneakers that Kartik is wearing are the Ninetyone Lifestyle Shoes from Hummel. Apart from looking dope, they’re actually highly functional as well. The inner lining of the sneakers is made up of a towel-like fabric, that keeps the feet dry, during high-intensity activities.

    The uppers are made up of a PU leather-like material, which is again, very breathable. The black coloured Chevrons give the sneakers a very sporty and aggressive appeal.

    Though, not as aggressive as the price. Although the sneakers cost around Rs 4,000, they are usually available for as low as Rs 1,500, on most major e-commerce websites. Given that they have Kartik’s approval, this has to be the bargain of the decade.

    All in all, that’s a really dope outfit that Kartik’s got there, and a doper pair of sneakers. Seriously man, take a bow.

    What’s in a name, you ask? Well, as it turns out, a lot, apparently. 
    Ever since news broke that PUBG Corp had severed their ties with Tencent Games and had partnered with Microsoft’s Azure for a server dedicated to India, fans of the mobile battle royale game have been in a frenzy, over when the game will be relaunched.

    While details for the date and timing of the relaunch may still be under the wraps, it seems that the game has been given a new name. Do keep in mind, that all of this, is still a speculation.

    A few days ago, the PUBG Mobile India put out a couple of videos on YouTube, teasing the relaunch of the highly anticipated game. However, soon after the premiere of the teasers, the videos were made private, meaning people can no longer view the video. 
    The #pubgmobileindia launched a video on April 29 on Youtube and deleted it after a while as it is restricted in India.

    This, of course, led to a frenzy among fans, and tech enthusiasts, who started to believe that the launch is just around the corner.
    Now, to add fuel to the fire, a new leaked poster for the game has been going around Twitter, which suggests that the mobile game will be rebranded, repackaged and then relaunched.
    As per the leaks, the new version will be called Battlegrounds Mobile India. Those who have been seriously following PUBG, ever since it launched initially, would know that PUBG actually stands for “Playersunknown’s Battleground.”

    Ever since the ban put in place by the Indian Government in September last year, the developers PUBG corp has been frantically trying to get reapproved by the Government of India and essentially get the ban lifted. Many tech experts are of the opinion that India was one of the largest markets for PUBG Mobile.

    Given the gravitas that the game enjoys, people on Twitter were bound to get excited for the apparent new name and rebranding.

    In a recent development, the PUBG Mobile India official website links to a new creative asset.

    — Pubg New State : News & Updates (@pubg_ns7) May 1, 2021One of the developers behind the game, Krafton Inc. also recently donated Rs 1.5 Crores to the PM Cares Fund, in a bid to win over the government, and further clean up their image.
    Krafton Inc, the South Korean gaming powerhouse and the developer of PUBG Mobile, has come forward with a donation of INR 1.5 Crore (roughly $202670) for COVID-19 relief in India.

    It seems that the relaunch of the game is all but inevitable. There is a lot of speculation that we might be able to get access to the game by mid-July, or early August. Given the kind of interest that people still have in the game, we bet even the developers are trying to set a release date, as soon as they can.

    On May 2, one of the most loved franchise of the IPL, the Royal Challengers Bangalore showed a video from their social media platforms in which they listed out three major ways in which the team and its players will show their support towards the Indian medical community that finds itself struggling for basic needs such as oxygen cylinders.

    According to RCB skipper Virat Kohli, who became the voice for the franchise’s message, the team will make a financial contribution (amount unrevealed) towards India’s healthcare infrastructure "related to oxygen support".

    In contrast to their red and black jerseys, the franchise will wear a special light-blue kit with messages of solidarity and respect for the frontline workers “who have spent the major of last year wearing PPE kits and leading the fight against the pandemic”.

    We have celebrated male characters of Hindi cinema way too often but there’s a shift in the paradigm as we also have been finally noticing female characters who’ve outshone their male counterparts in a movie or a web series. Yes, MensXP celebrates manhood but as a part of an equal society, we need to celebrate women who have challenged the harsh notions of patriarchal society.
    Interestingly, directors and writers have now started to make women characters stronger than ever and they are not damsels in distress anymore that a hero has to always safeguard. Things are slowly changing and we should appreciate the positive outlook of seeing women in cinema.
    Today, we will talk about female characters in Hindi cinema who have proved to be strong in the man’s world and have challenged all sets of notions that patriarchy has shoved on our faces.

Her character Aarya needs to be celebrated as you see a transformation in her character from a dutiful mother to giving it back to the patriarchal society headed by her own father.     2021 has been a bit slow for new games but in the month of May, we’re getting some incredible video game releases to get excited about. Whether you’re looking for a horror, role-playing games or an action-adventure game, there’s something for everyone. Here are four of the best video games to play in the month of May 2021. 
    1. Resident Evil Village  © Capcom
    A sequel to Resident Evil 7, Village takes place a few years after the events of what happened in Louisiana. We get to see Ethan make a return and somehow finds himself in a mysterious village searching for answers. We also see Chris Redfield make a return however his allegiances are still in question. If you’re looking for a horror game that will definitely leave you spooked, Resident Evil Village fits that bill.

    Sony’s first major exclusive for the PlayStation 5 already looks quite impressive that truly takes advantage of the new hardware. Returnal is Sony’s roguelike exclusive for the PlayStation 5 where it blends classic mechanics with a story-driven narrative. You will end up dying a lot as it is with many roguelikes. You play as Celeste who is stranded on the alien planet Atropos, and stuck in a time-loop somewhat similar to the movie ‘Edge of Tomorrow’. After every death, Selene goes through the ordeal again unlocking new mysteries with each death.

    If you love space operas and role-playing games; Mass Effect Legendary Edition is set to launch on May 14th, 2021. Even if you’ve played the game previously, it’s worth playing the franchise again with updated graphics and higher resolution support.

    4. Subnautica: Below Zero © Unknown Worlds Entertainment
    If you’re into open-world survival games, Subnautica: Below Zero is set two years after the original Subnautica game. You will need to survive by living off the planet and defend yourself in an underwater world by using scarce resources to construct tools. If surviving wasn’t enough, you will also have to complete objectives to advance the game’s plot all while trying to survive in the alien environment
