On a day when the critics were busy blaming the batsmen for not delivering on either side of the Mumbai Indians-Delhi Capitals clash at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium, one man made the most of the tricky pitch and dew on the to earn the ‘Player of the Match’ performance - Amit Mishra.
Scalping four wickets in as many overs, Mishra gave away just 24 runs and played a crucial role in limiting the Mumbai Indians batting order to a below-average first innings score of 137 runs. Regardless, the 38-year old’s biggest contribution came the in the kinds of batsmen Mishra removed from the crease.

His first wicket of the day could not have been better as he tricked MI skipper Rohit Sharma to toss a catch into the hands of Steve Smith. He would then get a golden duck on power-hitter Hardik Pandya, trap deputy-in command Kieron Pollard for an LBW appeal, and rip the bails off of Ishan Kishan’s wicket in the 18th over to complete his four-wicket haul.
After looking at his former Delhi Daredevils teammate perform so nicely and make a statement for himself at such a late stage of his professional career, Indian legend Virender Sehwag recalled a story of the time when Mishra picked his first hat-trick for the franchise and made an innocent request to him.

"He is [Amit Mishra] a kind of guy who is very calm and talks gently to everybody. He gets to mingle with everyone pretty quickly. So that’s why he becomes the favourite of his teammates. When he gets beaten, other players feel for him. And when takes wickets, all are happy for him,” Sehwag told Cricbuzz.
“I remember when he claimed his first hat-trick. I asked him what do you want and he said ‘Viru Bhai, please get my salary increased.’ Now, I feel, he would be getting that much amount of money that he won’t ask for a raise even after getting another hat-trick," he added.
Old is gold. Amit Mishra proving why he is the second highest wicket taker in the history of IPL with an incredible spell and @DelhiCapitals showing it is possible to chase in Chennai by being sensible.#MIvsDC #IPL2021 pic.twitter.com/aZoEXUMhp9

Mishra’s work at the bowling end of the pitch allowed Rishabh Pant and the Delhi Capitals to bag their third win in four matches this season and rise to the second spot in the IPL Points Table.

It’s undeniable that Twitter is one of the toxic places wherein people are too quick to pass a judgement and brutally troll anyone who has his or her own opinions about certain things. Taapsee has faced the brunt of people who haven’t agreed to her opinions but has kept her spirit high and has given them a piece of her mind with strong and witty responses.
Taapsee took to Twitter and shared why she stayed on the platform despite its toxicity. The actress tweeted, "There was something in me that made me stay here in spite of being one of the most toxic platforms of social media. Seeing the timeline filled with support being asked and selfless/agenda free help being offered makes me believe in the power of intuition once again. Beautiful."

For the second time in the early days of the Indian Premier League 2021, the reigning champions in the Mumbai Indians fought till the very end, despite a low-scoring total in the first half but ended up as the losing side.
Unable to gauge to the notoriously infamous pitch of the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai, the entire batting roster of Mumbai struggled to put up numbers against the Delhi Capitals, other than their skipper Rohit Sharma, who also lost his wicket after a 44-run innings in just 30 deliveries.
    View this post on Instagram
The fall of Quinton de Kock for 2 runs, a single from Krunal Pandya, and a golden duck for his brother Hardik Pandya did not look good on their resumes, although a quick-fire 24 of 15 from Suryakumar Yadav did add some value to his squad’s efforts.
To make matters worse, Sharma was seen leaving the field quickly after Rishabh Pant’s side came to bat and the captaincy was put on Windies legend Kieron Pollard’s shoulders, who did exceedingly well as bowler-management and even dismissed Steve Smith with a cheeky change of pace in his delivery in the 10 over of the innings.

Despite the match going till the final over the Delhi Capitals, and yes, there were times when it felt as if they would not be able to chase down the below-average score of 137, Shemron Hetmyer and Lalit Yadav stood their ground and got the victory home.
Watching their side lose after a disappointing batting session, an apparent fan of the roster went on a rant about how he was done with the Mumbai Indians and had no intentions of watching them play, even on the television. And then he did something that not even a casual MI fan would have liked to hear - he took his “fanhood” to the rival franchise, Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Thats it.That seals the deal. Im no longer an Mi fan. I’ve been an Mi fan since 2008 and a season ticket holder since 2008. I will no longer watch on TV or renew my season tickets.I’m taking my fanhood to team RCB where they actually know how to run a cricket team.

Some of the other fans of the franchise completely blasted him off with their responses:
then you were not MI fan You are winning team fan

Usually one wouldn’t put tablets in the same conversation as laptops but Apple’s new iPad Pro puts many to shame. The 2021 iPad Pro is Apple’s most powerful tablet in the world and it rivals the laptop you’re probably reading this story on. Apple’s most powerful iPad Pro ever is powered by the company’s M1 chip, the same SoC we see on the latest MacBook and iMac lineup. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro also features a new Liquid Retina XDR that have been made using mini-LEDs.
    © Apple
But that’s not all though, the new iPad Pro also offers other upgrades that you wouldn’t find on other tablets and most laptops. For starters, cellular models support 5G connectivity for faster download and upload speeds. iPad Pro also has support for Thunderbolt which means you will not be able to transfer files from external storage faster than ever. Other improvements include an ultra-wide front camera and a new feature called Center Stage that automatically pans the camera during video calls.

    © Apple
But what’s most impressive is the inclusion of the new M1 Chip that we also see in the 2020 MacBook Pro. The new SoC currently features the fastest CPU cores in low-power silicon and can deliver up to 50 percent faster CPU performance than the previous A12Z Bionic chipset. It also has the ability to deliver 40 percent faster GPU performance which is perfect for gamers, design professionals and video editors. The iPad Pro also comes with 2x faster storage up to 2TB and with up to 16GB of RAM. The new M1 chip will allow users to work on CPU or GPU-intensive tasks with ease and even let users work on extremely heavy files. For the first time, iPad Pro users can work on video files with green screens and edit video files like you would on traditional desktops.

    © Apple
As mentioned before, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro also comes with a new Liquid Retina XDR display that uses over 10,000 LEDs across the entire back of the display. It is capable of doing 1000 nits of full-screen brightness, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and a 1 million-to-1 contrast ratio. The display also comes with the ProMotion feature where the tablet can adjust the refresh rate up to 120Hz when needed. For creative professionals, they can now edit true-to-life HDR content right on the tablet as well.

The iPad Pro getting the M1 chipset is a monumental leap for tablets that ups the performance ante and challenges the status quo. The 2021 iPad Pro will be available in India from 30th April with starting price of Rs ₹71,900 for the 11-inch model and Rs ₹99,900 for the 12.9-inch mini-LED model.
